The winter vacation is still in motion, and apparently the one thing Linc and his friends will be doing is video games, but that's just how they roll after all. I wanna say thanks to "Marvelomac1010" for the concept to this chapter and many more to come. Enjoy reading this guys.

Chapter 461: Just some Arcade time…

(December 27. Lewis Residence, Olive Street. Royal Woods Michigan.)

We see Michelle come out from her room, and she finished answering some calls about some cases that she could handle when next month comes. 'Dang, looks like I might have my work cut out for me when next month comes, but it'll be all worth it.'

Michelle then sees her son, Lincoln coming down the stairs and he is dressed in his winter clothing. "Gotta go mom, gotta meet Jordan and Gus', and be back at dinner. Bye mom." He then leaves the house, and Michelle smirks and she goes to the kitchen, and there she sees Luna.

"Hey mom, Linc left the house? I heard him call out."

Michelle nods. "Yeah, he is already off and to meet with his friends." They both then make sandwiches for themselves. Michelle then asks Luna. "So, got any gigs inbound soon?"

"Not at the moment, but I do look forward to spending our very first New Year's Eve together" replied Luna, and she eats her sandwich. "It's going to be awesome. Still, I wonder if my hero counterpart managed to speak with that guardian into my request."

"I'm sure she will respond soon, but I can't promise that it'll be good news" replied Michelle, and then something else comes into her thoughts. 'I for one am still waiting for that guy to respond if he will answer the dreams which I have been having, and the dreams are also with Lincoln and Luna, and now I know that even Amanda sees them.'

Luna also remembers something she overheard from her brother. 'Will that guardian even allow Pokémon to reside here? I don't even know what Lincoln will think if they won't, he really is a big fan and after hearing from our hero counterparts, I think those kinds of critters being around is…. A good idea.'

(Gus' Games n' Grub.)

At the local arcade, we see Lincoln is inside and he is with Jordan and the both of them seeing that their other friends are here as well, and enjoying the video games. But they do recall, that once it is December 31, the arcade is closed because Gus is going on a vacation for the time being.

Leslie and Stella are both trying to best each other at Dance Battle, and yet those two seem in sync and some kids watch as their scores are tied and they keep going and going and going and going.

Jo and Carmella are both shooting some hoops, and they both try to beat the others score, but then they see Taylor and she seems to be doing fine, and she scores the game with her eyes closed.

Rusty and Liam are both playing Mortal Kombat, the old arcade game from long ago and Rusty seems frustrated with the fact Liam keeps doing low kicks as Liu Kang, not even giving Rusty the chance to counter or even do anything at all.

Tabby is playing some guitar hero and she is shredding it well, to the point where it looks like she is doing an actual concert.

Regina and Chastity are doing some air hockey, Clyde and Chloe playing some Mario Kart, Zach is also playing with them… But he's always lagging and not doing good, and we see Mollie and Sadie trying to gain the most tickets at Skeeze Ball.

Lincoln chuckles. "Dang, looks like everyone is having fun. So, which one are we playing?"

Jordan looks around and she sees one. "How about the new League of Legends Arcade Game?" They see the new League of Legends Fighting Game called, Soul Fighter, and they go over and try it out.

(Later.)

All of them have finished their game time, and all of them enjoying some pizza and garlic sticks. Zach then looks to Clyde. "How the heck are you good at Mario Kart? I mean, back then you'd just be…."

"Cautious and obey the laws of the road?" asked Clyde, and he smirks. "Yes, yes I would. But that was the old Clyde, and this is a new one and I know that Mario Kart is not some normal car driving thing, it's a fictional racing game and I know how to use all the stuff when it comes to items." He then fist bumps with Chloe. She taught him well.

Trent scoffs and doesn't look pleased. "Dude, try and play Super Mario Party, and then things turn bad real fast." Lance and Artie knows what he means, and even they get switched into anger from playing that video game.

Rusty then asks Liam. "Dude, what the heck was all that about earlier? Where did you learn that?"

Liam then explains. "My cousin played Mortal Kombat and he told me how to make sure the enemy can't get the chance to get back up, and sure to heck it worked like a dang charm."

Sadie and Mollie count their tickets, and same with Jo and Carmelina, but then they stop and see Taylor counting all of her tickets, and they are so many.

Lincoln then asks. "So, are we all ready for New Years?" They all cheer and each of them have so many things to plan for when the next month comes around.

Clyde and Chloe are going to attend the McBride New Year's Party, and same with Rusty with his family. The rich girls plan to celebrate at the mansion of the Silver Family, and with Stella and Jo's family coming along as well. Liam is just gonna be celebrating with his family and farm animals.

Everyone else has so many plans, and then Giggles asks. "What about you two?" she means, Lincoln and Jordan.

Lincoln smirks. "We have our own plans, but that one we're not telling. Still, this is going to be awesome. We're all ready for a new year, and more to come."

They all cheer and toast their milkshakes. Then Clyde asks. "By the way, has anyone noticed that Polly isn't around? Where the heck is she?"

Rusty smirks and he explains. "I guess you can say, she is practicing with the team. A big game for the roller derby is coming up and not just that…. Polly is now officially a member of the Royal Woods Middle School Hockey Team." They all didn't see that coming, and Lincoln wasn't even informed by Lynn Jr.

Lincoln does recall, that Lynn Jr. recruited Liam to be part of the baseball team as a pitcher, and boy he did awesome! The losing streak of their baseball team is over, and they are winning it!

They all just continue to talk and enjoy their food, and then Leslie asks. "Is everyone here prepared for the new video games coming next year? I mean, I am so going to live stream myself playing Little Nightmares 3!"
