No One's POV

At the McMahon Estate…

The two McMahon siblings and Charlotte were first to enter the estate, followed by the Judgement Day and Rey Mysterio. Things definitely did not go according to plan however they sent the statement needed and this was the beginning of what's to come. The group made their way toward the center stairs before a voice shouted, causing them to stop. "Young lady, are you serious right now?! How could you do something so reckless like that?" She let out a gasp, looking over the brunette's bloodstained outfit. High heels clicked across the tile floor as the youngest McMahon turned to face the woman walking up to them. Judgement Day and Rey bowed to show respect to the woman in front of them. She was the mistress of Vince McMahon himself and the mother of Daisy McMahon, Rena Greek better known by her code name, Sable. With the two-inch heels on, she stood at five foot ten inches tall. Her hair is long, voluminous and blonde going past her breast with beautiful waves. A slender figure with a busty torso, a figure being emphasized by a skintight bodysuit and a mini black skirt. She wore a giant fur coat. Her brow arched, staring at her daughter awaiting her response.

Daisy scoffed, not wanting to deal with her mother at this very moment. Her father is going to be displeased with her performance today. Her brother has already scolded her as well. "Because I don't sit on Father's lap and be eye candy, I take pride in being an heiress of the McMahon family, Mother. I am what a leader should be." That's what the brunette truly believed; every member of the family does their part. The heir and heiresses handle the business needed meanwhile the mistress does nothing substantial for the family. She holds a lot of power and yet stays by Vince's side.

Sable shook her head. "You take after your father too damn much."

"Speaking of Father, is he still upstairs with Mister Flair?" Daisy questioned, ignoring the remark from her mother. It was pointless to argue about the truth, Rena nodded and started ascending up the stairs. Shane followed; Daisy turned back to her squad. "Judgement Day, stay put down here and make sure that doctor shows up by the time I return." With a bow and a collective 'yes ma'am' the two heiresses and Mysterio followed behind.

"I need to speak with my dad urgently." Charlotte mumbled, doing her best to keep her emotions in check. Both siblings felt bad for the blonde, Daisy rested her hand on the young blonde's back. Flair turned to her friend and smiled, giving a slight nod.

"Come come, both of them have been awaiting your arrival back home." Sable gave a smile, her attention lingering on her daughter and the young Flair. Rena didn't press further but, in her gut, she knew something bad happened on Carter's turf. Sable was the first to arrive at the mahogany door, she knocked a couple times. "Honey! Ric! Your daughters have returned back home from their mission."

"Enter." A familiar voice responded from the other side of the door as the oldest blonde opened the door. Both gentlemen turned to look at their guests. Vince remained at his desk, looking at both of the young heiresses. "Ladies.."

"Hello Father and Mister Flair." Rena walked over to Vince's side, giving him a kiss on the cheek before sitting in the chair next to him. The Flair leader took a puff of his cigar, blowing the smoke out as he stood up from his seat. His steps halted at first to Sable, offering her a cigar which she took. Being the lady's man that Ric is known to be, he pulled out his lighter and lit it for her.

"Charlotte my dear! I am so happy you are safe." The oldest man walked over to his daughter, which he considers his pride and joy and embraced her. Charlotte embraced him back. He paused and looked over at his daughter, noticing the permanent frown on her face. "Why the long face, my daughter?"

The blonde woman let out a small sniffle, her hand wiping the tears attempting to form in the corner of her eyes. "...Dad, Andrade..He's.."

The smile had graced the older blonde's fell and his eyes softened. He didn't want to believe what he was thinking but the look on Charlotte's face told him everything he needed to know. "...Oh. Oh honey, I am so sorry." The world could be so cruel to those not deserving of its wrath. The couple had only been married for a little over a year and were set to take over the family legacy. Ric Flair gave his daughter one last sympathetic look and redirected his attention onto the masked luchador behind her. "What the hell Rey, aren't you supposed to be protecting him?!"

The blonde man's face turned red with anger as he started down the shorter man. If Mysterio wasn't one of his most loyal men, a bullet might have already been in between his eyes. Rey bowed his head, understanding the anger that Ric was displaying. "Yes sir, and I failed. I obeyed his orders, but I should have persisted in accompanying him." He wasn't going to beg for forgiveness; Andrade's death could have been avoided if he disobeyed him.

"Daddy, it's not Rey's fault." The Flair heiress responded, placing a hand on her father's shoulders. There was no need to fight over something that can't be helped now. No one in this room is truly responsible for her husband's death; the one that is responsible is whoever pulled the trigger.

"Such terrible news, I am truly sorry." Vince told them. Ric let out a sigh and walked back over to where he was previously sitting. "I've sent for Stephanie as well; she will be arriving sometime soon and then we will go over what transpired during the attack."

"As of right now, Vinny Mac, I am happy that our girls have made it out alive."

A couple loud knocks banged against the sturdy door, Shane turned and opened the door knowing that it would be his other sister. "Father, I arrived as swiftly as I could." Stephanie looked around the room seeing everyone's eyes looking at her. The brunette locked eyes with her younger sister, noticing the amount of pain she was in as well as the large, dried bloodstain on abdomen. "Are you alright, sister?" The Billion Dollar Princess asked with concern; she truly wants to care about her little sister, but her attitude makes her insufferable. She wouldn't wish death upon her only to smack her around for a minute or two.

Daisy folded her arms over her chest, surprised that Stephanie showed any concern for her in the first place. She knew it was simply theatrics. "I'm fine. Damn that bitch Stratus."

"With everyone present now, ladies, would you like to explain what happened?"

Charlotte nodded her head and started to rundown the events that took place. "Judgment Day spotted our target about to depart the gym; like we predicted, she had already met with Gail Kim of the Carter family. Judgement Day stepped on the attack and the Copelands came to aid Trish and Lita. We confronted them and that's whenever Gail Kim showed up."

"You continued to confront them even after Gail Kim showed herself, are you two insane?" Stephanie couldn't believe what she was hearing, these two morons really decided to try to take on Gail and Stratus on their own. There is a reason why she has a bigger bounty than Dixie Carter.

The younger brunette scoffed, shooting another glare over to her elder sister. She folded her arms over her chest, her nails digging in her arm as Daisy fought back the urge to scream at the bitch beside her. Daisy was tired of Stephanie always trying to make her feel inferior. "And make the McMahon family out to be cowards, I'd never. We had both of them neutralized until we were informed about..El Idolo. Learning that Legado del Fantasma withdrew without our approval made a lot fall apart. Frankly I'm ashamed that I didn't predict such an outcome. Stratus is wounded, multiple members of the Carter family are dead."

"I see.. This is rather troubling that both Gail Kim and Trish Stratus are alive, as well as the traitors running around with her."

"Vince, you knew that this was a possibility and those guys don't have their reputation for nothing." The leader of the McMahon family grumbled knowing that his long time friend and sometimes enemy was correct. Gail Kim is one of the original members of Dixie's crew and the most threatening woman on their roster. Frankly the best course of action would be to dispose of her before taking out the head of the family. There was a rumor that had circulated throughout all the families about the Jarrett family and how they were slain by Kim's hands alone. And then there was Trish Stratus, the former mistress of the McMahon family, someone that Vince should have killed while he had the chance. For years, Stratus served her purpose flawlessly. Someone that was suppose to stay eye candy gained the skills to assassinate people with ease. But with gaining all the power she did, Stratus ended up having a change of heart. The bitch fled the family, taking some of her friends along with her.

"Yes however the main objective was to make a statement and a declaration of war which you ladies managed to do so it's not a complete failure today." The eldest McMahon turned his attention over to his youngest child. "Daisy.. What you did was downright stupid but I can also respect your drive to lead your people. But do remember, Judgement Day should always be on the frontline. You are a commander and they are your army; if you fall then the rest are going to fall. We all want Stratus dead but do not continue this reckless pursuit. We will get her soon but don't charge in and get yourself killed." McMahon understood her motives to prove her worth to the family but the inexperience of dealing with high profile enemies like that needs to be dealt with a more strategic plan. Daisy's eyes looked to the ground as she nodded her head and mouthed a 'yes father' over to him.

Stephanie fought out the urge to roll her eyes at the obvious display of favoritism. 'If that was Shane or myself, he would have chewed us a new asshole. The favoritism is strong although it could be because this bitch is sitting in the room with us. She has no right to be in this room; at least this bastard child is half my father.' Things were so much better before the two new additions to the family showed up.

"Char honey, that advice can be extended to you as well. You are the Queen of this family; a queen can do whatever she pleases but you have pawns, knights and bishops to fight in your steed."

Charlotte hated to admit that the old timers were correct. They underestimated their opponents and it nearly got one of them killed. The Queen nodded her head, looking over to the brunette beside her. "Yes sir, with the permission of Daisy, since Legado del Fantasma failed me so miserably today; I'll be taking some members of the Judgement Day to locate the bastard who murdered my husband. For now, they will observe and hope to gain access to the security camera there. I need to know which son of a bitch is next on my hit list." With two members of McMahon's special squad having cybertech skills, it should be a breeze to get the information they are after. From the information that was gathered from the attack, there were at least six members of the Carter family inside. Two of them were killed by Legado del Fantasma. Including Trish herself, there were four from that traitor's squad and a couple unknowns in the building. Someone in the building killed Andrade; Charlotte was going to find out who.

"Do what needs to be done but please proceed with caution, Lady Flair." Shane wasn't going to sour her resolve in pursuing her husband's murderer. No amount of reasoning was going to sway her but the oldest McMahon sibling hoped she would be careful going about it. Shane turned his attention back to the head of the two families. "Everything is still going to plan within the Carter family, our spy was able to make contact with Corbin. Inside gossip amongst the family is that they are most likely one hundred percent on Trish's side."

"Typical of that Carter bitch to not roll over and submit." Dixie Carter has been a thorn in the side of the McMahon family for the past fifteen years. The McMahons and the Flairs had done their best to negotiate for less violent outcomes but Dixie isn't a smart woman.

"Brother and I's plan to dispose of the trash head and the heirs of the Carter family is moving along swimmingly. Here within the next few days, I'll be putting phase two into effect. "

"Excellent, that's one plus from today's mission."

"What should we do about Khan and his idiots, Vinny Mac? The Carters might run to them for help if we don't knock them down a peg or two?" The eldest Flair asked his long time friend/rival. It was true, with them basically declaring war on the Carter family today; the last family to not be aligned with either side is the Khans. The newest family randomly came onto the scene about three years ago, some of its members consist of former members of the already existing families. Traitors.. All of them and they will pay the price one way or another.

"Hm, I already thought about that and I have a solution." He answered. Vince knew that this random assortment of rejects would be a thorn in his side one day. There is a more peaceful route of trying to negotiate with Tony Khan but if it went like any previous negotiations; it would be pointless. "Stephanie, do you have the squad that is going to infiltrate Khan's territory and raid their main supply warehouse?"

"Yes Father, they are waiting for permission to enter as we speak." The Billion Dollar said, her father nodded his head, giving the permission they had been patiently awaiting for. "Ladies, come on in!" Stephanie yelled as all eyes in the room turned to the door as it creaked open. One by one each woman walked into the room until all five were standing in the room. Each one of them were wearing specialized riot armor like they were ready to launch the operation immediately. What stood out wasn't the armor but what was instead on their faces. Every single woman had a cyberpunk LED helmet on, all of them displaying a different pattern. "Take off your helmets while you are present in this room."

"Yes Ma'am." The woman in the middle spoke with a distorted voice and LED face of a killer clown. She took the helmet off to reveal her medium length dark brown and red hair. She smiled and bowed respectfully at all the leaders in the room. "Bayley Martinez at your service boss, please allow me to introduce you all to my team." Her eyes fixated over to Vince McMahon, it's the first time she's been in his presence. Her nervousness was well hidden, the man nodded his head and Bayley turned to the woman to her right. The woman was the same height as Bayley, she removed her Anonymous LED mask to reveal her long, half black half pink hair. "Dakota Kai, she's our hacker." Two women took their masks off in unison, both having a matching Oni face and of Japanese descent. One of them was barely over five feet tall and long, multi-colored hair, consisting of blonde, pink and purple. Her eyeliner winged and black border by neon pink eyeshadow. The other was a couple inches taller, half blue and half purple hair. "The Kabuki Warriors, Kairi Sane and Asuka..Kairi specializes in infiltration and Asuka is pure assault." The last girl was the same height as Kairi, her mask displaying X's for eyes and a stitched mouth. She is also of Japanese descent; her hair is long and dark brown with neon red streaks. "Io Sky is also assault."

Stephanie smirked, she knew that Bayley's leadership skills would form the perfect team for such an assignment. All these women work well with each other so this mission should be a breeze. "Damage Control, your mission starting now until I say otherwise is to find and locate Khan's main warehouse.. I want you to hack into the mainframe and steal all possible information you can gather. Main focus is intel and locations of all Khan members and their dealers. If we can dispose of some of their main dealers, it will limit their supply drastically, weapons and drugs alike. After you have gathered all the information, I want you to destroy the warehouse and dispose of anyone there by any means necessary. Do not reveal your faces and do not fail me, do you understand your assignment?"

"Yes MiLady crystal clear, the operation will be executed smoothly, you have my word."

"Excellent Bayley, Damage Control you are dismissed." The Billion Dollar Princess which all five women bow, excusing themselves from the meeting in order to start their missions. All of them walked out of the room, shutting the door behind them. There was another nagging matter at hand regardless if she's wounded or not, Stratus and her group are being a fucking nuisance. "Father, regarding the Stratus situation, do you wish for me to pursue them with the Bloodline?"

"Dear Sister, that won't be necessary. Father needs all the protection here in case they move prematurely. The Bloodline should stay here." Daisy scowled over to her older sister. She wanted to curse her out for trying to take her glory away. The youngest McMahon knew she failed in their last mission but it wasn't entirely her fault.

"You failed and almost died to Stratus, younger sister. You are being reckless and stupid." Why is their father even entertaining such stupidity? She's nowhere near experienced enough to deal with something as important as this. The youngest McMahon should stay home while the elder siblings take out the trash.

"..And it won't happen again." Daisy shot a glare over to Stephanie.

The McMahon sisters continued to exchange glares in silence. "If anyone deserves to take Trish Stratus' head, it's me." Charlotte injected herself into the conversation, holding up the white and black luchador mask for all eyes to see. "I am going to avenge my husband and then.. We are killing that bitch." The Flair heiress gestured between her and her best friend. Stratus started the conflict by murdering Heyman and now, she's partially responsible for Andrade's death as well. She's gone too far. If Legado del Fantasma hadn't retreated there was the lingering possibility that everyone there would be dead.

"Charlotte and Daisy have valid points. The Flairs should take over the Stratus situation and continue to have the young McMahon's aid." The head of the Flair family remarked. All the McMahons stayed silent at the statement, Stratus has crossed the line into their family as well.

"I wish you wouldn't allow her to continue doing this until she has more experience but it can be helped." Sable blew out the smoke from her cigar, annoyed at her daughter's eagerness to get herself killed. This was her daughter's calling but she needed to actually survive first. She spoke in a calmer tone, "You are not to act on anything until you are fully healed." The McMahon mistress would prefer someone with more experience take the mission but Vince is really allowing Daisy to continue forward. Does he have that much faith in her or is this some kind of test?

"Of course, Mother. Shane and I will continue forward with our mission to execute both of the Carters once my wounds are healed." The youngest heiress replied.

Vince cleared his throat and looked between the young heiresses. "Very well. Both of you are dismissed, both of you need to rest and have proper time to mourn. You have my sincerest sympathies, Flair family. Andrade was a great man and he will be avenged." The pair had an eventful day that was for certain, rest would do them some good. Each one of them needed time to reflect and grow from their mistakes today.

"Thank you." Charlotte gave a soft smile. Both ladies said their farewells and exited the room. The duo stayed side by side as the blonde gently placed a hand on the small of Daisy's back. The brunette looked over to her. "You better be getting evaluated by a doctor now."

"If they have arrived, yes, if not, I'll have Balor take them out." McMahon stated nonchalantly, she reached down and grabbed Charlotte's right hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. Her eyes looked at Flair with concern. "Do you want me to stay with you for a while?"

Charlotte pondered the question momentarily; she nodded her head, returned the squeeze with one of her own. During this troubled time, the blonde needed her closest friend. "That would be appreciated, I don't know if I'll be able to do the funeral arrangements on my own." Her voice sounded quieter, and somber compared to previous statements.

"Of course, Char." The duo walked together down the stairs of the main entrance hall, still holding hands. The brunette looked over to see Judgment Day standing near the right wing entrance and a man in white standing amongst them. "Oh look, the doctor is actually in. I'll be inside and after I am done, we are going to your place." Charlotte nodded her head, watching the brunette walk over to the doctor. The McMahon heiress was the first to walk through the door with the doctor, Damian was the sole member of the Judgment Day that followed them. The Queen shared a glance with Rhea Ripley, she crooked her finger toward the trio. Rhea nodded her head and tapped the boys on the shoulder to follow Flair.

Flair walked outside in front of the porch steps, Judgment Day came outside with her. The blonde smiled seeing someone walking up to them. "Your Majesty, you summoned me." She got down on one knee, bowing her head in respect. The woman was of African American descent, standing at a little over five and a half feet tall. The biggest defining feature of the woman was her unnaturally long, black, braid that trails past her butt. Her figure was muscular, her tanktop and shorts allowing her to display her spectacular figure better.

Charlotte gestured to the woman allowing her to stand back up. "Yes EST, Andrade has been murdered and you are going to be the fourth member of the squad that's going to hunt the culprit down. Once they are located, I'll execute them myself." Bianca Belair, another one of Charlotte Flair's most trusted women amongst her ranks. Bianca's eyes widened at the news, she clenched her fists. Belair looked over to the three standing behind her leader, nodding her head over to them.

"We will catch the son of a bitch swiftly, Milady."

"I know, you never disappoint me, EST, don't you dare start now."

Becky's POV

Later that day.. At the hospital

There was a loud knock on the screen door that normally would have startled me, but I know exactly who's on the other side of the curtain. The curtain draws back to reveal three women, our friends, who Sonya smiled at. The first woman had long, blonde hair and grayish looking eyes. She's my height, wearing a tank top and blue jeans. Ronda Rousey is someone that I met whenever I first started driving around and wanted to go to a gym. Throughout my childhood, I always had an interest in fighting. I guess chalk that up to constantly getting picked on by my big brother. He's hit me, pushed me; my so-called parents would do a damn thing. They claimed he was 'roughhousing'. Pathetic. My interest in fighting made me want to join a gym so I could work out and maybe take some classes if they had any. My first time in Gail's gym was whenever I met Ronda, who was already a black belt in judo and loved mixed martial arts. Not long after, Sonya came along, and the rest is history.

The two that walked in behind Rousey were a couple, I wasn't expecting it at first but hey, it makes sense now; their names are Mia Yim and Shayna Baszler. Mia has Korean and African American descent in her veins, her hair an envy blue color. The same height as everyone in this room, Mia was wearing one of her girlfriend's hoodies and sweatpants. Shayna Baszler is one of the tough bitches I know, she can intimidate anyone with a single glance, well except her girlfriend. To be honest, she tries to be tough around her, but we all know that's a lie. I met Shayna through Ronda and Sonya; I met Mia through Shayna. She sports dark brown hair normally pulled back in a ponytail; her clothes being a t-shirt of some video game logo on it and blue jeans. Both Mia and Shayna love to play video games, that's how they met on some online game. "Holy shit, Sonya! We came as soon as we were able. How are you doing?!"

"Heh, I wasn't going to go down like that. I'm on something for the pain so I am good." Sonya said nonchalantly like she didn't get shot twice in one go. Our friends made their way over toward the bedside, the couple walked over to the chairs beside me and took a seat. Ronda paced on the side closest to the door. I can tell by the look on her face that she's angry; she's angry that she wasn't there to do something.

"Becks texted us about what happened. Son of a bitch, I should have gone with you guys." Rousey confessed, still voicing her opinion that is revealing her guilt about not coming with us again. Sonya reached over and grabbed onto the blonde's wrist, stopping her in her tracks. Ronda looked over to Son and smiled, "I know. It's not my fault but.. I'm so relieved that you are both okay. Fuck.."

"The news was covering the drive by as well and said that multiple bodies were found inside and some in the parking lot." Mia informed us which is new information for me. I remember ambulances on the scene, but we dipped to come here before the police arrived. The media is bad news for us.

"It looked like some massive gang war happened there." Shayna gave her observation. Yeah, something like that definitely happened, three of the four main families were there.

"Aye, I don't know what happened. After Son saved me, I heard yelling and gunfire. I managed to get Sonya inside and hid inside the main office until it was safe." I lied through my teeth but that's for their safety, if any of them find out about what's going on, they can end up in danger. I don't need them finding out about my guardians being ex-mafia too.

"That shit sounds so scary.."

"It was. But what matters now is that Becks and Sonya are safe. I don't think we should continue talking about it." Rousey responded, thankfully putting an end to talking about our traumatic experience today. I don't want to keep lying to my friends.

For the next ninety minutes or so, the five of us tried talking about other topics. Mia and Shayna have started streaming their video games together and they have about six hundred followers now which is awesome. Apparently, they made a new friend that wants to meet up at some point, they are finding all the gamer girls from what I can tell. I don't think doing anything with cameras is for me, I'd be way too nervous. Ronda actually started dating this one guy, his name is Travis Browne, a college boy with the dreams of being in UFC like Rousey. Everyone seems to be finding their passion in life, but I am not sure what I want to do yet. I still have time but that can wait until everything is settled down. A nurse had come in and told us that visiting hours were about to end in about ten minutes. Fuck.. Why can't I stay here with her? She needs me. Our friends decided to leave first, promising to come by with flowers tomorrow and donuts. "Bye guys love you!"

"Bye ladies, thanks for stopping by!"

"Okay Becks, can you tell me what really happened inside the gym?" Sonya asked, knowing that I was lying through my teeth to the others. They don't need to know the truth because if they did, it would make potential targets. Like how Son got shot protecting my dumb ass, I am the adoptive little Sis of two Mafia badasses and I needed someone to protect me. Not only once but twice, Mrs. Aldis shoved me into that office and took out three men all by herself. I had a weapon; I could have done more. I claim to be such a tough badass around the girls but whenever push came to shove..I froze up. The body of Almas flashed into my mind once again, a gaping hole in between his eyes. I was the one that shot him. I killed him. The words Mister Aldis said to Li really stuck to the back of my mind. 'You really trained her well.' Fuck.. So many emotions flooding in.. I- "Becks.. Hey Rebecca." A soft voice snapped me back to reality as I felt a hand slowly caress the side of my face. Sonya.. "It's okay, you can talk to me. If it's too much, I'll drop the subject."

"Sonya.." What remained of my defenses shattered and the tears poured down my cheeks. "I was s-so scared that you were going to-" The brunette looked at me with soft eyes, her thumb wiping away some tears on one side of my face. "Mrs. Aldis.. S-she-"

"Sh.. Sh! It's okay Becks, I'm going to be okay and it's thanks to you and your guardians." I felt her cradle my head in her hands as she pulled me closer to her. I shouldn't be on the bed like that; I'm afraid I am going to hurt her. "I was in and out of consciousness a lot, but I know that Trish and Lita are a bunch of badasses. You were amazing too. You were making sure that I was okay with everything in your power." The brunette said attempting to reassure me, but I felt more powerless in that situation if anything. Lita and Blondie were shooting the van that almost claimed her life and yet, I was crying, trying to stop the bleeding. I called on them for help once again because I was clueless on how to move forward in this situation.

I fought back a couple sniffles, wiping my eyes trying to regain my vision. "But.. Son, I'm the reason you are in this hospital bed. You saved my life."

"And I'd do it again in a heartbeat, you can't blame yourself for something you had no control over." My heart thundered in my chest hearing her speak so matter of factly about the situation. Why would Sonya risk her life for me again? I know we are best friends, but I wouldn't want her to do that for me. My cheeks heated up as I continued to nuzzle my head into her. She's so damn selfless, and beautiful. This is why my feelings for her are on such a rollercoaster right now.

"I know.. You w-wouldn't want me in your spot but.. I s-still feel guilty." If only I had the strength to move out of the way, then none of us would be in this situation right now. Sonya wouldn't have gotten shot, and we would have made it inside faster. Mickie wouldn't have needed to assist me, and she probably wouldn't have gotten shot. I messed everything up; I almost got people killed. "Mrs. Aldis, s-she brought us into Gail's office. She pushed us in; she fought off three men and got shot.. p-protecting us." Thankfully she's going to be okay but that doesn't change what happened. I bit hard onto my bottom lip as I debated on continuing the story, but Sonya deserves to know the absolute truth. "Sonya, I-I killed a man today."

A finger pressed underneath my chin as my head was forced to look up into Sonya's hazel eyes. "Babe, shh it's okay, I know that it was definitely a scary spot to be in but if you didn't go on the offensive and shoot, all of us in that room would have been dead." She soothed, caressing the side of my face once again. I felt an instant wave of comfort. "I know it doesn't make you feel less guilty. The man you killed was probably a really bad man. You protected everyone today and you were super strong. I'm so proud of you; you did more than I think I would have been able too."

God damn it, I wasn't expecting any praise from the brunette about my actions. Nothing that I did earlier deserves any praise. Sonya would have known what to do, she's way stronger than I am. "I'm so sorry. I hope you can f-forgive me, Son." I apologized like an absolute moron. How is a tiny apology going to make up for her almost dying!

"You don't need to apologize for anything, Becks. Trust me."

I wiped away my tears for the final and released a deep breath. Breathe Rebecca, Sonya's going to be okay and that's what matters most right now. My phone started beeping and I took a peek down at it to see Li's name and one unopened message. I opened it and skimmed over it quickly, replying with a brief 'on my way, be there in a few.' Truth be told, I didn't want to go back home. Sonya needs me here, but the hospital doesn't allow visitors overnight and all that bullshit. If Lita's back here, that means she has Blondie with her. "Li's here to pick me up. I'll be back first thing tomorrow to check up on you. I promise."

"Okay babe but remember this, you're my hero." Sonya pulled me into an embrace and wrapped my arms around her as gently as I could, not wanting to hurt her injured shoulder. The hug lasted for about thirty seconds, and we stared at each other, the brunette giving me soft eyes. Before I could back away, she leaned closer to me. Wait, what is she doing? My heart started beating rapidly unsure what to do until I felt her soft lips connect to mine. Fuck, I don't know what to do or say but my cheeks are burning up right now. Her lips lingered for a few seconds before pulling away. I feel like I am messing up because I didn't kiss her back. I was so shocked by the action; it felt surreal. Without really thinking much more about it, I reclaimed her lips in another kiss. The butterflies were swarming in my stomach as my hand covered hers. I pulled away as she stared back at me with a warm smile. I stood up and chuckled, giving her a smile but also turning my head away to head my blush. No other words were exchanged as I left the hospital room. Being alone in the hallway allowed me to collect my thoughts some more. Holy shit she kissed me! My first kiss, I had my first kiss, and it was with my.. best friend. My best friend, who I am having confusing feelings over, but that kiss felt so damn right.

I giggled like a schoolgirl as I walked down the hallway, I felt so relieved knowing that Sonya feels the same. I know tomorrow is going to be an important discussion. Do I even bring it up or do I wait for her to do so? What am I kidding, this is very important! Shit, I'll pull myself together and think about what I need to say later. Moving past the sliding door, I scanned the parking lot for the vehicle that managed to survive an entire shootout. The car pulled up beside me and I climbed into the backseat. As I sat down in the far left, I scooted over to the far-left seat. My eyes fixated on the red on Blonde's shirt. She turned back to look at me with a big smile; all I could see on her left shoulder was red. "Holy shit Trish, what the hell happened?" I spoke in panic as Li started driving. That's a lot of blood and there's a hole in her shirt not far from her heart. Oh my god.. "Did you get shot? Why are you not in the hospital getting checked out right now!"

This stupid bimbo has the bleach damaged your brain; she needs to walk her ass in the hospital now. "Well hello to you too, Becks, calm down. Yes, that bitch of a Flair managed to catch me off guard and shot me. But don't worry, I went to visit someone that happened to be a doctor. She patched me up nicely. …They played me like a fiddle." At least Blonde was able to get that wound evaluated because that looks like a lot of blood.

"You hesitated in killing McMahon, Trish. I saw it and if I wouldn't have kicked that gun away.. You would be dead." Li spoke for the first time since I entered the vehicle, she scolded the blonde for her actions. Wait, Blondie was going to die if Li hadn't stepped in and saved her. That's twice that she almost died. The redhead slowed the car to a stop at a red light, nudging her bestie beside her. "You aren't going soft on me, are you?" There's no way she'd go soft after everything that happened recently.

She scoffed, smacking the redhead on the shoulder with a hard slap. Trish sighed, "No. That brat deserves to die but looking at her. I thought about Becks and how if we hadn't taken her under our wing; she could have ended up like that." The blonde explained as our eyes met in the rearview mirror. Why would she think about me at a time like that? "McMahon's a kid, a couple years older than Becky, that was born into the wrong path with no way to stir her on the correct one. I won't hesitate next time." I see. I was a delinquent and ran away from my horrible homelife. If I hadn't met Li, I could have turned to a life of crime to survive. If things continued like that I would have been in jail or worse, I'd be dead.

"Blondie, don't start slacking now, I already almost lost Sonya and I could have lost you today."

"Fuck, I know. It's my fault that you two got put in that situation. I'm so sorry." Trish apologized; I noticed the slight crack in her voice.

"No, it's not your fault Blondie, it's the bastard's that shot you and Son. It's the McMahons and the Flairs that are to blame." I told her, making sure to plant the truth in her head. Whenever she got the files, her first thought was to go warn Gail and the others. Not yes, this was also for her own benefit too, but she didn't have to warn them. Trish and Li stayed and fought the enemies alongside the Carters. Sadly, not everyone survived on our side, but more would have been dead if she didn't intervene.

"She's right."

"If the Carters weren't in there, they could have died."

She's continuing to feel guilty about the situation. It's a shitty situation to be in. "Yes, we could have but one of the Carter women did everything in her power to protect us. She put her life on the line to protect Sonya and I, thank goodness she's okay too." I mentioned Mickie to the duo as Trish smiled, nodding her head satisfied with the answer.

"Not only that but Becks saved their lives as well, she killed someone and wounded another by shooting her in the shoulder." Lita boasted about my actions inside the office, something that still makes me sick to my stomach. I..I had to fight back; I know I did the right thing but why does it feel so wrong?

"So that's how Zelina was injured, but Becks, I'm proud of you. You saved people today." So that woman's name is Zelina, did Blondie encounter her during the chase? I have no damn idea what happened after Son and I came inside but I am guessing this isn't over.

"...The person that I killed was Andrade 'Cien' Almas." I admitted which got both of them to look up in the rear-view mirror.

"What?!" They shouted in unison which startled the fuck out of me.

"Fuck! So much for not letting you ever get placed in a situation like that ever again." Out of all the people that had to search that office, it had to be the son-in-law of the big bad. How unlucky could I have gotten. He's also the leader of Legado del Fantasma or there's that too.

"No one else saw you in there, right Becks?" Trish asked, I responded with shaking my head no. Thankfully we were able to get inside Gail's office before the men were able to see us. The one person that was seen by someone that was presumably alive is Mrs. Aldis. "...Okay, heh, that's quite the bombshell."

"Which is why I want to be stronger in order to protect myself, my friends and my family. If they figure out what I did, I… I'm going to be a target." I brought this up already to Lita while we were waiting for Sonya's surgery to finish but the hospital wasn't the best place to have that conversation.

"They aren't going to figure that out, I won't let them."

"We aren't going to let them touch you, Becks."

God, I love the both of you so fucking much but right now, you are being pretty dense. "What are you going to do?! Are you going to stick to me like glue? That's not going to work because that backtracks on your plans too." There are so many overcomes that could happen if they always keep me in their sights. I want them to teach me, so I don't have to rely on others for protection.

My guardians turned to look at each other before Trish spoke, "...She's right, Li. There are going to be times that we won't be able to protect Becks." Lita scowled but nodded her head, she can be everywhere at once and I know that Li needs to prioritize assisting with Blondie's plans. The McMahons deserve everything that's coming to them because of what they did to Auntie Ashley. The Flairs deserve the same treatment for teaming up with them. "Alright, you win. I am out of commission for a bit, but the plan is moving forward nicely. Stephanie's days are numbered and after her, I am going kill that brat too."
