Chapter 36: Hunyo's Sacrificial Finish

Jang-geum was afraid to see the entire Taal lake was filled with flames and the dark clouds are moving on a right direction. Hunyo arrives with the black backpack and decided to put the end of his terrorism.

"Do you want me to be sent in Hell, are you?"

"You'd think I'm the person who's gonna drag you in Hell. The real fight starts now." Hunyo said as seeing lightning clouds knowing it going to be rain the entire island.

On the boats, we see Brian and the rest of them seeing the weather is changing its climate.

"They are thunder clouds... could this mean..." Mariana pondered and Rei knows the weather climate within Taal.

"It is always partly cloudy. Because the clouds are always covering the entire mountain including its volcano that can cause heavy downpours."

"You can start the fight, Hunyo. But I still have this..." Jang-geum gets the controller knowing that he still takes control of the last bomb. "This bomb will activate in three minutes if I clicked it. Everyone living in this volcano and this entire province will be all wiped out."

Hunyo finally had his blood boil when Jang-geum shows his controller and angrily states in his native language.

"Nakapaka demonyo mo at napaka walang hiya mo! Talagang papatay ka ng maraming innocente sa kasiyahan mo! Hindi ako papayag magagawa mo yan! (You're a devil and shameless bastard! You wanna kill innocent people for your enjoyment! I'm not gonna gonna let you do it!)

As the song "Nandyan na si Cardo (Cardo is Here) was played, the red-orange lightning that crackles on both Hunyo's fist knowing that he was serious to fight him knowing that time is already running out. Jang-geum charges to attack and Hunyo does the same and both finally punched each others faces. Both eventually exchange their blows and Jang-geum demonstrates his fighting skills in Taekwondo since he still keeps the controller and Hunyo blocks his kicks, much like in his fight with Brian or the rivalry with Jin and Hwoarang. Jang-geum lands a powerful side kick to Hunyo's gut and was countered by Hunyo's punches by hitting him to his face. While he remains carrying the controller, Hunyo rushes to attack him by tackling him with a Spear. The fight continued with many blows with each other and Hunyo gets the upper hand by pummeling him into the ground. Jang-geum was staggered from his assault while he still carries the controller. The song ends where Hunyo finishes the fight by knocking him through his gut with a powerful straight thrust, sending him through the lake waters of Taal Lake. Before he could land on the lake waters, he clicks the controller from his remote device to activate the last bomb and Ibrahim and Rolento see this.

"Hunyo! That bastard activated the bomb! Throw that away!"

"Hurry up, Hunyo! Time is running out!"

Hunyo became dismayed to see what he has done. He gets the black backpack and knowing that it's going to explode. He goes to one of the resident houses within the volcanic island and gets through the roof and immediately throws the backpack upward into the sky. To his surprise, Rei assists him by using his Onmiyoji magics to bind the backpack long enough to remain airborne. As the time stops, it explodes into the night sky, everyone ducks on the boat as the explosion was powerful enough to awake the volcano that cause an eruption. Hunyo was exhausted after ending Jang-geum's threat as it begins to rain.

At the heliport within the UN Main Headquarters, Rhima sits on the ground while leaning on the wall, trying to remember how she was scolded by her father Hunyo about her recent actions as well as Roderick. She knew that they were right as she thought.

They were right... I really caused a lot of misunderstandings at my world even here in the World of Tekken. I really messed up so bad...

Rhima stands up and looking at the sunset while she touches the pendant from her necklace and remembering about Jin when they met each other again.

Jin's hasn't changed whenever he shows off from being cool and serious. But he's been sincere to me even after he retrained me to fight. I feel regretful because I blamed him from my own problems. When Mr. Chevalier reveals that Jin is the humanity's last savior, I feel much more guilty. I felt like I was a burden to him. But Uncle Roddy had told me when he scolded me from blaming someone else about my problems, I realized something about him, he has more things he had went through in his world since it was all ruined by death and destruction caused by his father Mr. Mishima and G Corporation.

As Jang-geum was finally retrieved and immediately taken to the hospital for treatment that leads to his arrest, Hunyo thanked Rei for assisting him.

"Thank you, Rei... for assisting me. It's gonna give me a heart attack if I let it blow this entire volcano into smithereens."

"No problem... I did all I could to save the entire province of Batangas from causing a deadly explosion."

"Now that the threat is over. We can celebrate!" Rolento said excitedly and Hunyo tells them.

"No... my daughter hasn't showed up yet. Since she and Jin had visited to see us in spiritual forms, the mission I gave her was on-going. It looks like I thought about this mission was an easy task that I gave her. But it was actually a difficult task knowing that Kazuya would have gone so far as he had already make a genocide over their world."

"Luckily that our world wasn't like that." Brian said as Hunyo's cellphone rings much to their surprise and Hunyo gets his cellphone to see an anonymous caller was calling him and knowing who it is since he had unblocked it during his confrontation with Jang-geum as he receives it.

"Hello..."

"Hunyo, you're such a talkative person, being compared to me and that bomb terrorist that you've taken care of." Kazuya said commenting about his words.

"Kazuya..."

Everyone is shocked to hear that Hunyo receives a call from Kazuya since they are able to contact from different worlds.

"I guess this is my last call on you, Hunyo. I already made up my mind in trying to recapture your daughter. I'm going to prevent your daughter in finishing the mission you gave her while keeping away from Jin. I wanted to remain her here so that she can be killed from me."

"Demonyo ka talaga! (You devil!) Hunyo angrily swears in his native language and Kazuya evilly smiles at him.

"Don't ever call me that Hunyo. I'm really the devil after all. Now, I'm might deployed my men including its JACKs to make an assault. I already done it at my world to show my superiority over my devil powers and they can't stop me."

"You're being merciless, Kazuya. It's like you already taken over the world with your devilish hands. I already warned you, you can't take my daughter too lightly despite she is below on both of you. Mark my words, and you will fail." Hunyo said and he quickly hung up his phone. Kazuya was unmoved by his words and continue to make preparations in trying to stop Rhima from finishing the mission Hunyo had gave her.

"Hunyo... you look upset." Brian said worried to his friend and Hunyo blames himself.

"It's all my fault... I shouldn't gave her that mission to restore the link between both worlds and Kazuya would even attempting to kill her on purpose. Damn it all! "

Rhima continues to look at the sunset who remains upset and depressed and Jin calls her name.

"Rhima-san..."

Rhima looked to see Jin who came to see her and finally decided to tell her everything not just their climatic battle with Kazuya in the beginning but the entire incident happened in his world and his current state that he has been through.

"You don't need to be regretful because of me. I was the one who caused your problems."

"I feel so ashamed for blaming you in the very beginning. I never realized you became the last savior of humanity to save everybody from genocide." Rhima said sadly and Jin tells her.

"I have reasons to be here, Rhima-san... because you don't know what happened here at my world. I already told you about how me and Kazuya had fought in the deserted city in New York and I lost to him from getting overpowered. The truth is... when we regrouped after Kazuya announced the eighth tournament, something went wrong when Lars had wanted me to pull off my devil powers just to spar with each other."

"What's that supposed to mean, Jin?" Rhima asked becoming concern to him and Jin reveals it.

"After I got overpowered, I lost my devil powers."

Rhima was shocked while putting both of her hands on her mouth and Jin decided to tell her everything.

"Rhima-san... this is the right time for me to tell you everything it happened here at my world including of what I've been going through with this entire mess being caused by Kazuya and G Corporation and why our world was in danger of annihilation because he wanted to rewrite our world to think it was irrational with his own iron fist rule."

With that, Rhima finally decided to listen to Jin about the entire incident happened in their world being caused by Kazuya and G Corporation and the screen fades black.

Trivia:

*Hunyo recreates the fire scene within the Taal Lake resembles the sea of flames in Hell during the climax of the 1995 film, Patayin sa Sindak si Barbara (Frighten Barbara to Death).

*Jang-geum recreates the scene of Joo Dan-te pulling off his controller to detonate the bomb implanted in Hera Palace.

*When Hunyo strongly punches Jang-geum to his gut, sending him into the lake resembling the punch Junta Momonari's Mega-Playboy form used to defeat Ryuji Sugashita in the final episode of DNA2.

*Both Hunyo and Jang-geum when they punched each other to their faces it was the same scene between Jin and Kazuya during the climatic battle in the final chapter of the Story Mode in Tekken 8.
