She waited for the right time for Walt to leave and then everything became quiet. Then she had the opportunity. Carrying nothing, but her mother's scarf, her father's dog chain and a photo of her and her parents, Elizabeth was on her way to freedom.

She stowed away on buses and trains and most of the time she walked for a while. She even stowed away on trucks, not the pick up ones. Then she finally made it to New York. She found shelter from a box that used to hold a big television set and tried to find some food to eat.

After she found a meal that is still good enough to eat, she settled down in her big box shelter. She then looked at the stars in the sky. She saw two of the twinkling. She thinks it's her parents. She made a wish in the sky. Her wish is that her life would change for the greater good.

Tears started to form in her eyes and she cried herself to sleep. What she doesn't know is that her life is about to change and her wish is bond to come true.
