Chapter 19: A Bit of a Skip

Black.

That's all that could be seen in the vast space. A cold dark void filled with only the silence of the unknown. One could only imagine the horrors that could've taken place here to create such a desolate place. If only there was someone who could possibly fill this space with-

KNOCK! KNOCK!

"Tsukuyo!"

Tsukuyo Kai grumbled from her place on her bed, turned to glare at her door. "Not now, mother!" She hissed. The tiny lilac's eyes were the only visible thing since it was completely pitch black in her room.

As I was saying, this space could only possibly be filled with the support of all of you. With your love and dedication to Vanguard, this cruel desolate world will blossom into a-

KNOCK!

"Tsukuyo!"

Ignore the sounds of the old woman attempting to disrupt us.

"I can hear you! I'm not old! I'm still in my twenties!"

Yes, I can understand your frustrations, her voice must be terrifying to you all. She is a tyrannical ruler who dared to take away my limited edition Dragonic Overlord sweets.

"Because you glued Tokoha's shoes to the floor of Card Capital! Now open this door!"

Ah yes, the green one. She was also an accomplice who had helped the old woman create this space. It would do no good to leave them in power as they'll continue to try and limit my power. That's why I require your help in stopping them from taking over the world.

But this is a battle that you and I will not be able to win alone. After we escape from this hellish landscape-

"It's your bedroom, not a landscape and watch your language, young lady!"

We shall join up with several trusted individuals who will aid us in our quest:

Papa Dragon: He's overprotective and is the strongest cardfighter in the world! His only weakness is the old woman.

Swirly: He's a little slow, but his heart is in the right place. He owns a unique deck that makes him important and stuff. His only weakness is the green creature.

My Prince: He's the most perfect, powerful, and bravest prince. He claimed my heart when least expected, our love shall blossom into one of maturity and strength. There are no weaknesses that hold him back.

So… are you willing to help me?

"Babaaaa!"

CLICK!

The room's lights came on, alerting Tsukki that her defenses had been breached. Her mother, Misaki Kai was now glaring down at her. "Tsukuyo Kai…!" A terrifying flame burned in her mother's irises.

Tsukki stood up from her bed, giving her mother a better look at her. The little lilac had grown a bit in size. Her lilac hair was now shorter, coming down to her shoulders instead of her back. Tsukki was dressed in a light purple dress with a small pink jacket over it. "Mother."

"You know better than to lock your bedroom door, young lady. Also, it's Hikaru's nap time and you can't keep hogging him." Misaki scolded her daughter.

"Baaa!"

Mother and daughter turned to the bed to see the blue haired baby staring at them with his big green eyes. Tsukki looked back at her mother. "My minion doesn't seem tired, mother."

"He is, but you keep distracting him." Misaki picked up Hikaru, cradling the baby gently. "C'mon, Hikaru, time for your nap."

"Ba!"

Misaki smiled softly at her little 'nephew', then gave her daughter a glare. "And you're still grounded, Tsukuyo. And after all the comments you've made, it's extended."

"Not fair." Tsukki glared at her mother.

"Life's not fair. Now, don't let me catch you locking this door again." Misaki warned her before leaving the room and closing the door.

Tsukki glared at the door, grumbling at the extension of her grounding. The tiny lilac turned to the camera. "If you're thinking that I've somewhat mellowed out after all this time, you're wrong. I'll still be causing just as much chaos as before." An evil smile appeared on Tsukki's face.

"Lock your doors at night."

Chapter End

NOTE: If you remember, Hikaru is the son of Aichi and Kourin. They're visiting and Misaki agreed to babysit for the afternoon. Tsukki's been gone for a bit, but that doesn't mean her antics are going to slow down. She'll have some new people to torment here and there as well.

That is if she can avoid being grounded.

Have a happy holidays!
