Authoress Note: Welcome to Chapter 115 of God of Lies and Mischief and the Woman of Many Faces. I've actually decided to do WandaVision. It took me a bit to figure out exactly how I wanted to do it or if I was going to do it at all. I'm actually very excited for this since it's probably something that I haven't done in quite some time. I hope that you enjoy this next chapter. Without further ado Chapter 115. ENJOY!
Chapter 115
Everleigh blonde hair was in a bob, in a full skirt with an apron around her middle. Her hands glowed as she used magic to put the dishes away into the cabinets.
A man came in with his hair slicked back dressed in a fine suit. "Ah there is my lovely wife." He mused with a smile as he came over to her.
Her hands stopped glowing for a moment as she looked at her husband. "There's my husband." She mused softly as he got closer to her.
"Using magic darling."
"Easier than the actual thing." She admitted softly as he leaned down and kissed her softly on the cheek. She smiled softly. "Are you almost ready to go to work with Vision?"
"Yes, I would be swinging over to go to work with him. Did you want to stop by and see Wanda?"
Everleigh smiled softly and removed her apron. "I'm sure that she'd be happy to see me, darling."
The man kissed the top of her head softly. "Shall we?" He questioned offering her his arm.
Everleigh took his arm with a smile. She walked with her husband towards their living room and towards the door. The two of them headed out the door and headed towards the house that Wanda and Vision lived in.
The man knocked on the door.
The door opened revealing Vision in his human form. "Everleigh, Loki. Wonderful to see you." Vision said with a smile.
Everleigh smiled a small smile rubbing Loki's arm. "Wonderful to see you too Vision. Loki, thought that it would be wise to go with you to work today."
"Ah wonderful." Vision said with a smile.
"And my lovely wife wanted to help your lovely wife unpack things."
"I'm sure Wanda would love the help." Vision said allowing the two of them to come inside of his home.
Everleigh looked around.
"Wanda darling Everleigh is here to see you."
Wanda came out with her hair bobbed as well with a full length skirt and apron around her waist. "Everleigh. This town is beautiful."
Everleigh smiled. "A perfect place to have children don't you think?"
Wanda grinned. "Yes."
"Loki came to walk with me to work." Vision gestured to Everleigh's husband.
"Thank you for that Loki."
Loki smiled. "Any time." Loki said, gripping his briefcase. "We must go so we're not late. Mr. Hart wouldn't appreciate it."
"Right." Vision said with a nod of his head.
Loki pressed a soft kiss on Everleigh's cheek. "I'll see you tonight, darling."
"See you." Everleigh said with a small smile.
Vision pressed a soft kiss to Wanda's lips. "See you this evening."
Wanda smiled softly. "See you tonight."
Everleigh watched their husbands go. She looked around. "Looks like you've got most of the unpacking going fairly well."
Wanda smiled. "Magic helps."
Everleigh nodded her head as the two of them finished unpacking with their magic. Everleigh smiled. "Beautiful."
"Thank you for the help Everleigh."
Everleigh winked. "Anything to help you out Wanda."
There was a knock on the door.
"Who could that be?" Everleigh said, blinking a few times in confusion.
Wanda crossed the room and opened the door seeing a neighbor on the doorstep with a potted plant in her hands.
"Hello, my dear! I'm Agnes, your neighbor to the right! My right, not yours. Forgive me for not
stopping by sooner to welcome you to the block, my mother-in-law was in town... so I wasn't." Agnes handed Wanda the plant and breezed past her into the house.
Everleigh and Wanda shared a look with one another.
"So! What's your name? Where're you from? Most importantly, how's your bridge game, hon?"
"I... I'm Wanda."
"Wanda. Charmed. And you?"
"Everleigh."
"Golly, you settled in fast. Did you use a moving company?" She asked, looking at Wanda.
"I sure did. Those boxes don't move themselves!"
"What's a single gal like you doing rattling around this big house?"
"Oh no, I'm not single."
"Well, I don't see a ring."
Wanda hid her hand. "I assure you, I'm married. To a man. A human one. And tall. As a matter of fact, he'll be home later tonight for a special occasion, just the two of us."
"Really? Somebody's birthday?"
"I don't think so…"
"Today isn't a holiday, is it?"
"No, not a holiday…"
"An anniversary then?"
"Yes! That must be it. Our anniversary!"
"Oh, that's just marvelous! How many years?"
"It feels like we've always been together."
"Lucky gal. The only way Ralph would remember our anniversary is if there was a beer named 'June 2nd.' So what do you have planned?"
"How do you mean?"
"For your special night! A young thing like you doesn't have to do much, but it's still fun to set the scene. Say, I was just reading a crackerjack magazine article called "How to Treat Your Husband to Keep Your Husband." Let me tell you- what Ralph could really use is "How
to Goose Your Wife so You Don't Lose Your Wife!" Hang on, I'll go grab it and we can start planning! This is going to be a gas!" Agnes said leaving the two women.
Everleigh blinked a few times. "Quite plucky isn't she?"
Wanda nodded her head. "I guess having her around won't be too bad."
Everleigh let out a soft chuckle. "I should head out. Let me know if there is anything you need. I'm right down the street."
"I will give you a ring."
Everleigh hugged Wanda. "See you later."
"You too."
"Have to see what I am making for dinner tonight for Loki." She said with a wink.
"I'm sure Loki loves your cooking."
"You bet he does. I think it is one of the reasons why he married me."

Loki was at his desk working on some paperwork. He looked up to see his friend Vision getting up from his desk.
Vision delivered a stack of files to Norm. "Here are those computational forms you requested, Norm."
"Gee willikers, that was fast!" Norm gestured to the radio. "The music isn't bothering you, is it, pal?"
"In terms of distraction from work or the largely non-sensical nature of the lyrics?"
"The first one."
"Oh. Not at all. Thank you, Norm."
"What about you Loki pal?"
"Music isn't bothering me." Loki said smoothly as he scribbled something down on the paper that was in front of him.
Vision turned back to Norm thinking.
"Something else I can help you with, buddy?" Norm questioned looking at Vision with a look of worry upon his face.
"Yes, as a matter of fact... Norm, would you be so good as to tell me what it is we do here exactly? Do we make something?"
"No."
"Do we buy or sell anything?"
"No and no."
"Then what is the purpose of this company?"
"All I know is, since you arrived, productivity has gone up 300%. Even with the help of Loki prior to you coming."
"Yes, but what are we producing?"
"Computational forms! Nobody computes the data like you do, pal. You're a walking computer!"
"What?! No. I am most certainly not that. I'm just a regular carbon-based employee made entirely of organic matter. Just like you, Norm!"
"What's got your feathers ruffled?"
"Forgive me, I'm a tad on edge. It appears there's something special about today - special to Wanda, that's my wife - and I can't for the life of me recall what it is."
Mr. Hart came out of his office saying goodbye to the client that was in his office.
Norm quickly shut off his radio.
Loki bit his lip as he went back to work as Mr. Hart came close by.
"Vision. The wife and I are looking forward to this evening."
"Yes of course! Dinner this evening with Mr. Hart and his dear lady wife, Mrs. Hart."
"That's what I said. What's wrong with you, son? You got a screw loose?"
"No, sir. All screws tightened, sir."
"I should hope so. Employee dinners are a rite of passage for new hires. Jones here failed miserably, isn't that right?"
Jones passed by with his belongings in a box. "The wife thought five courses would be sufficient."
"Then there was that paltry excuse for entertainment."
"A string quartet."
"And your embarrassing display of Beatnik enthusiasm."
"I wore a turtleneck."
"Best of luck on the unemployment line there, Jones! I owe my success to my keen judge of character. No skeletons in your closet, eh Vision?"
"I don't have a skeleton, sir."
"Glad to hear it. Your future at this company depends on it."
Loki waited until Mr. Hart left. "Vision friend, it's not so bad with the meal." He pointed out. "My lovely little wife made quite the meal with some wonderful entertainment. I'm sure that Wanda will do just fine and so will you."
Vision looked at Loki with a look of worry upon his face. "We didn't remember doing this…"
"Oh bollocks." Loki said in surprise as he watched him go to the phone to call his wife. He could only hope that they would be able to handle a meal with Mr. Hart and Mrs. Hart.
