When Lincoln woke up on the day his father would return to the battle subway he heard his father yelling emmets name and his uncle saying "I am emmet and I am victorious!" When he left his room he saw his uncle emmet holding a razor and his father beardless chasing him it didn't take him long to piece together what happened
"uncle emmet did you shave dads beard?" Lincoln asked
"yes because today is Ingo's first day back on the battle subway and I want to match." Emmet explained while dodging Ingo
"I liked the beard!" Ingo argued
"I am emmet and-" emmet began before he was cut off by Ingo
"you're emmshit!" Ingo said
Lincoln gasped
"YOU!" Emmet yelled before jumping on Ingo
they play fought for a little bit before they Both started laughing
"whew I thought you two were actually fighting." Lincoln said "I thought we were going to have to divide the house."
"what possibly gave you that idea?" Ingo asked
"I- I don't know." Lincoln said unsure of how that possibility even came up
"that's verrrry concerning." Emmet said
"let's not dwell on it now we must get ready!" Ingo said "soon we must depart for the battle subway!"
soon they made their way to the battle subway
"now Lincoln feel free to challenge the battle subway whenever you like and ag lunch meet us at the pizza shop near the subway." Ingo told Lincoln
"alright see you on the subway!" Lincoln said as Ingo and emmet left for the multi line
Lincoln looked around for a little bit before noticing someone In front of the multi line gate
it was a boy around 15 he had green spikey hair and was wearing a black leather jacket with black pants
"uh hi do you need some to challenge the multi line with?" Lincoln asked
the boy turned to him
"yea I do actually you wanna challenge it?" The boy asked
"yea! I'm Lincoln by the way." Lincoln introduced himself
"I'm Caleb." The boy now known as Caleb introduced himself "what pokemon are you going to use?"
"my hisuian zoroark, my haxorus, and my galvantula."
"hisuian?" Caleb asked
"yea its ghost/normal type." Lincoln explained
"so I can use my zoroark too!" Caleb said "along side my emboar and rotom wash."
"alright let's challenge the battle subway!" Lincoln exclaimed
an hour later
they made to Ingo and emmet
(now I've challenged them before but they may have new tricks but nothing can catch me off guard.) Caleb thought to himself
"Hey dad! Hey uncle emmet!" Lincoln said
(except that) Caleb thought to himself
"hello Lincoln how are you?" Ingo said
"wait wait wait subway boss Ingo is your dad?!?" Caleb asked
"yup adopted but still." Lincoln explained
"anyway let us begin!" Ingo said as he sent out haxorus and emmet sent out electross
"right!" Lincoln said as he sent out his haxorus and Caleb sent out rotom
"EARTHQUAKE!" Ingo and Lincoln said at the same time Causing all 4 Pokémon to be knocked out
pure silence
until...
"WHYYYYYY!???!?!??" Emmet yelled as he fell to his knees
"HAHAHAHA!!!!" Caleb laughed "Yup you are definitely Ingo's kid."
"I am emmet I have been betrayed." Emmet said as he got back up "but i will not be stopped, go electrode!"
emmet sent out his Hisuian electrode
"gliscor full speed ahead!" Ingo said sending out gliscor
"emboar!" Caleb said sending out emboar
"galvantula!" Lincoln said as he sent out the bug/electric type
"cross poison on electrode!" Lincoln said
"stone edge on gliscor!" Caleb said
both Pokemon did their attacks dealing massively damage
"Gliscor Aerial ace-" ingo began before he was cut off by emmet
"explosion." Emmet said
electrode exploded knocking out all four Pokemon
"well then chandelure!" Ingo said sending out chandelure
"archeops!" Emmet said sending out archeops
"zoroark!" Caleb said sending out his unovan zoroark "let's see a hisuian zoroark!"
"on it! Go malachite!" Lincoln said sending out malachite
"HOLY ARCEUS THAT THINGS HUGE!" Caleb exclaimed
(I think I just fell in love) Caleb's zoroark thought to himself
"Malachite shadow ball on chandelure!" Lincoln said
"zoroark dark pulse!" Caleb yelled
both attacks connected cause both chandelure and archeops to flinch
"NOW USE SHADOW BALL!" Lincoln and Caleb shouted at the same time
the double shadow ball knocked out both opposing pokemon
"bravo your talent has brought you to the destination known as victory!" Ingo said
"I am emmet I lost with Ingo." Emmet said
with that Lincoln and Caleb got off the train
"so Ingo's your dad?" Caleb asked
"yea." Lincoln said
"you're one lucky guy Lincoln." Caleb said " if you ever need someone for the multi line give me a call."
he quickly wrote down his phone number and gave it to Lincoln
"see you around." Caleb said as he left
a month later
Lincoln did call him for the multi line over the next month though this had an unexpected side effect
for some reason malachite was blocking the door to the nursery
"malachite why are you blocking the door?" Lincoln asked while Ingo and emmet stood behind
"(no reason.)" malachite said
"WHATS THAT!?" Emmet said
"where?!" Malachite said while jumping away
while she was distracted Lincoln, Ingo and emmet entered the nursery but what was in there shocked them
6 baby zoruas 3 unova 3 hisuian 1 of each group was shiny
"MALACHITE!!!" Ingo yelled
"(fuck.)" malachite said while putting up an illusion
"yes?" She asked
"who's the father?" Ingo asked
"uhhh..." malachite began
"who is it?" Ingo said sternly
"Caleb's zoroark." Malachite said
"I gotta go make a call." Lincoln said
Lincoln called Caleb
"yo Lincoln what's up?" Caleb said on the other end
"how do i put this..." Lincoln began "your zoroark owes malachite child support."
"... WHAT?!?" Caleb yelled "ZOROARK DID YOU HAVE EGGS WITH LINCOLN'S ZOROARK!!?"
"FUCK!" Caleb's zoroark yelled In the background
"excuse me I need to deal with this." Caleb said before hanging up
"Welp guess I'm an uncle now." Lincoln said to himself
well at least he will have someone cheering for him at the tournament next Month
and that's the battle subway chapter and don't worry Caleb will make an appearance later on
