AN: Sorry this chapter is so late. This year's chapters are going to be late due to circumstances beyond my control.

Yugi walked out of the big top, Arkana had been a real threat. He'd almost lost his Dark Magician and his life. If he hadn't won, then he would have died. Arkana died, and for what? A manakin. He'd died for a manakin. Marik was pure evil. There was nothing he wouldn't do to get what he wanted, and what he wanted was his puzzle. Maybe Jason was right, and they needed to be more vigilant?

"AND NOW MY TERRORKING ARCHFIEND WILL ATTACK YOUR LIFE POINTS DIRECTLY!" A voice shouted, pulling Yugi and the Pharaoh out of their thoughts.

"I didn't realize that Jason was dueling again." Yugi said.

"He's not." The Pharaoh Said. "That is not Jason."

A man wearing a red zip up hoodie with the hood covering his face looked at the Pharaoh. "I am Jason Todd, and if you Duel me, you WILL lose to my Archfiends!"

"You Are not Jason, and I will prove it!" The Pharaoh shouted, activating his Duel Disk.

"Then you will lose." Not Jason said.

"LET'S DUEL!" Both Duelists shouted in unison.

Yugi Muto: 4000

Not Jason: 4000

"I'll draw." Not Jason Said. "I'll activate the spell card Dark World Dealing. We each draw a card and discard."

"Where did you get that card?" Yami asked. "You didn't have that when you Dueled the Rare Hunter."

"What are you talking about?" Not Jason asked. "I don't know you. now, draw and discard a card."

"Very well. I draw a card and discard a card. My turn. I draw a card. Next, I play Dark Magic Curtain, paying half my life points to special summon a Dark Magician from my deck."

Yugi Muto: 2000

Not Jason: 4000

"Next, I set a monster in face down defense position, and set a card in the spell and trap zone. My Dark Magician will attack your face down. Dark Magician! Dark Magic Attack!"

"I get to add an Archfiend Monster from my deck to my hand."

"How?" Yugi asked. "You don't have any cards that allow you to summon Archfiends from your deck."

"I don't know you!"

"You are mistaken! For it is I who do not know you. I am Allies with Jason Todd. He has friends and a girlfriend. He is Mokuba's bodyguard. You are not Jason Todd."

"I don't have time for a girlfriend!" Not Jason shouted. "My goal is to eradicate the unworthy! Those who do not deserve their Duel Monsters cards! You, Yugi Muto, you will lose your title and your dark magician!"

"And you have proven that you are not Jason!" Yami shouted. "Jason never wanted my title or my Dark Magician! He also never attacks people he sees as unworthy, and he loves Kazutaka with everything he has! Now, I must defeat you for besmirching not only Jason's honor, But Kazutaka's as Well!"

"Do you end?" Not Jason asked.

"Yes. I end."

"I draw, and I activate Dark World Dealings. It allows us to draw one card, but we have to discard a card in return."

Yami grit his teeth. He'd have to discard a card, but he was allowed to draw a card, and the Heart of the Cards would not let him down. He drew his Dark Eradicator Warlock. He looked at his hand and grit his teeth. Lowering his head, he sent his Dark Eradicator Warlock to the graveyard.

"Ha! I see that I have humbled you, Yugi! Now that you know your place, forfeit, and hand me your Dark Magician. There's a new King in town!"

"I did not forfeit!" Yami shouted. "I was laying a Magician to Rest! Show some respect!"

"No. Now, I'll Set a monster in Face Down Defense position, and end."

"Very well!" Yami Challenged. "I draw!" Looking at the card, Yami smiled. "I activate the Ritual Spell, Chaos Form! This card allows my Dark Magician to perform a Ritual to learn even greater magics! By offering my Dark Magician as a sacrifice for the ritual, He can gain said knowledge! Come out, MAGICIAN OF CHAOS!"

A sparking black hole appeared in the air and the Dark Magician crossed his arms as he was pulled in before the black hole exploded and the Magician of Chaos was brought out.

"I'm not impressed Yugi." Not Jason said. "He's not stronger than your Dark Magician."

"That is where you are wrong! He is not stronger in ATK or DEF, but he now knows more powerful Magics! Now, since my Magician of Chaos was Special Summoned, I am allowed to Normal Summon!"

"Yeah? Not impressed!"

"I am going to sacrifice my Skilled Dark Magician to Tribute Summon my Dark Magician Girl!"

"Still not impressed!"

"I am not finished yet! I activate the Spell card Sage's Stone! This Spell card allows me to special Summon a Dark Magician from my hand or Deck!"

"Impossible! You just wasted a card! You only have one Dark Magician!"

"Wrong, I had only one. Then I dueled Arkana and received a second one. Dark Magician, come forth!"

Arkana's red Dark Magician appeared on the battlefield and looked at Yami. "Now is your time to prove yourself." Yami said encouragingly.

"What the fuck!" Not Jason shouted. "What is that!"

"A Dark Magician who was led down the wrong path." Yami said. "With the proper guidance, he can find his way back, however, Since I activated a Spell card while my Magician of Chaos was on the field, I get to activate his effect."

"What effect is that!"

"I can destroy one card on the field!"

"WHAT!"

"Yes, and I choose your face down! Magician of Chaos! Dark Magic Attack!" The world went negative as Yami's Magician of Chaos attacked, sending Not Jason's monster to the graveyard. "And I am still not done! I activate my second set Spell, Knight's Title! Dark Magician is exceptionally talented with a Staff, but he is also talented with a Sword, and when he picks up a sword, he becomes the Dark Magician Knight!"

Dark Magician raised his staff over his head and pulled down, changing his robes into enchanted purple armor, with a black and red cape flapping in the wind. Next, he pulled a sword and shield out from a portal and stood ready for combat.

"What! No! Impossible!"

"Nothing is impossible when you believe in the heart of the cards! And seeing as I activated another spell card, I am able to destroy another card on the field, and I'll destroy your middle spell or trap! Magician of Chaos! Dark Magic Attack!"

Not Jason seethed as he watched another card disappear from his side of the field.

"Dark Magician Girl, Attack! DARK BURNING ATTACK!"

Dark Magician Girl saluted Yami and sent her attack at a defenseless Not Jason.

"NNOOO!" Not Jason shouted as he was hit with a full 2600 ATK.

Not Jason: 1400

Yugi Muto: 2000

Not Jason glared at Yami from under his hood and charged.

Yami was so startled by the sudden move that he had no time to react. He held his arm up in defense, but could do nothing else, expecting to be hit.

"I don't think so." A familiar voice called out, grabbing Not Jason by the hood, clotheslining him and letting everyone see his face.

"Holy Shit!" Jason swore. "Who did this to you?"

His hair looked as though it had been burned off, the left side of his face looked as though it had been melted, and he had cuts along the right side of his face, and under the hoodie. On his eye he wore an eye patch that hid his eye.

"My father did this to me, when I tried to get rid of the drugs, he tried sneaking my mother in rehab. I rose up and killed him after he left me for dead, and now I show the world the truth. There is no kindness for being good. I punish those who are kind to me and destroy those who anger me. All! Shall! FALL!"

Mokuba and Yami watched as Jason's demeanor changed. He had gone from concerned to callous. They could see visible waves of rage rolling off him.

"Do you think my past is a joke?" He asked. "Something you can use to get off on? Is that it!?"

"Oh shit." Mokuba said. "Yugi! We need to get out of here!"

"What?" Yami asked, horrified at what he was seeing.

"I've never seen Jason this pissed off before! We need to run!"

Yami and Mokuba ran away from Jason and watched, as Not Jason was pushed back by the waves of Rage, and they were connected by their souls.

"A Shadow Game!" Jason snarled. "You and me, right now! Only one Jason walks away, the real Jason!"

"Very well!" Not Jason said. "You will not survive against my Archfiends.

'My warden!' The Imprisoned Queen Archfiend roared. 'Allow us to rip the flesh from his bones.'

'No! I want to do that myself!' Jason snarled.

'Excellent!" The Undying One shrieked in pleasure. 'You have come far!'

'Fuck off!'

"Let's DUEL!" Jason and Not Jason shouted in unison.

Jason Todd: 4000

Not Jason: 4000

"I go first!" Jason roared. "I draw! I activate Pot of Greed drawing two extra cards! I send Archfiend General from my hand to my graveyard to add one Pandemonium Field Spell from my deck to my hand! I play Pandemonium!"

The field became an arena in the center of hell while the Archfiends cheered Jason on and booed Not Jason on for pretending to be their Warden, Causing the temperature to drop at least ten degrees, if not more as electricity sparked around both Jason and Not Jason, and the wind picked up making it even colder.

"Next! I set a spell and trap card in the Spell and Trap Zone! I end!"

Not Jason stared at what he couldn't believe. He was looking into the actual depths of hell! He was meeting his idol. This was actually Jason Todd! He needed to win so he could impress his idol. "I draw!" He shouted. "I activate Dark World Lightning! I destroy your middle set Spell or trap card, destroying it!" There was no point claiming to be playing Archfiends anymore. There was only one Archfiend deck, and Jason Todd had it.

Jason's set card was destroyed, and he glared at Not Jason.

"Next, I have to discard a card, and I discard Lucent, Netherlord of Dark World, and since it was discarded by a card effect, I get to special summon it to the battlefield under my control! Next, I normal summon Dark Blade! I end!"

A silver demon with large sinewy muscle appeared on the field followed by a black knight dual wielding great swords.

"I draw and I summon Archfiend Interceptor in face up attack position! I end!"

The multi-armed, demonic football player appeared on the battlefield in face up attack position and held its arms out in an offensive posture.

"I Draw!" Not Jason said. "I play Broww, Huntsman of Dark World! I end!"

A bowman wearing armor appeared on the battlefield with bow ready to attack.

"What is he doing?" A spectator asked. He can win, this turn!"

"He's waiting for a full field so he can attack all out and nothing can stop him." Another person said.

"Arrogant much?"

Mokuba's breath was trapped in his chest. He'd never seen Jason this pissed off before. Granted, he'd seen him pissed off, but not this pissed off.

"I draw! I activate the Ritual Spell Contact with the Abyss! I Ritual Summon Archfiend's Awakening! I use the Summoned Skull in my hand as a sacrifice for the Ritual!"

A spell Circle appeared in the center of the Arena, and a more demonic looking Summoned Skull crawled out.

"I end!"

"I draw!" Not Jason was vibrating with glee. He was watching THE Jason Todd use the Archfiends, what could be better than this? " I set a card in the Spell and Trap zone, and send my Dark Blade and Broww, Huntsman of Dark World, to tribute summon a Monster in Face Down Defense position! I end!"

"I draw! I summon Archfiend Heiress in Attack Position! Archfiend's Awakening! Attack his Lucent, Netherlord of Dark World! Demonic Lightning!"

Archfiend's Awakening threw a bolt of demonic lightning at Lucent, destroying it, and hitting Not Jason with a spark.

Not Jason: 3900

Jason Todd: 4000

Not Jason felt nauseous, and out his hands on his knees as he began gagging. "Wha' did you do to me?" He asked.

"I thought you were me!" Jason snapped. "If you are, then you know exactly what happened to you!"

"I feel horrible." Not Jason moaned.

"Yes! That's what happens when your soul is attacked! This Duel is very real! If you lose Life Points in the Duel, you lose your soul life point, by life point."

"Jason?" Mokuba asked.

Jason looked over at Mokuba and asked: "Who's Jason?" The Undying one asked.

"Oh no." Mokuba and Yami said in unison.

"I forfeit." Not Jason said.

"Not in a Shadow Game you don't!" The Undying one snapped. "In a shadow Game you play until one of us has lost!"

"Aladhi!" Yami shouted. "This man has conceded! Let him go! This isn't what Jason would have wanted!"

"You don't understand Pharaoh." The Undying one said, looking at Yami. "Jason willing gave me control."

"No." Yami gasped.

"Yugi!" Mokuba said. "I know that I say, "I haven't seen Jason this mad" a lot, but when I say, "I haven't seen Jason this mad" This time, I mean it. It's almost like Jason has been pushed beyond what he can handle and blacked out so he can process. I think we're stuck with the Undying one until Jason has processed what's happened!"

"YOU!" Yami pointed at Not Jason. "You need to hold out long enough to survive! This is no longer a Duel like you're used to! This is Shadow Game! This is no longer a game! This is Survival!"

"What's your name!" Mokuba demanded.

"Gerald." Gerald said weakly. "I'm a huge fan of Jason's. I made this cosplay based on a Fanfiction I write. I'm also kind of a Paparazzi stalker."

"After this Duel run away." Mokuba said. "Run away and never return to Domino City. I think that Jason would kill you on the spot, because he felt like it, if he saw you after this Duel."

"I will." Gerald said.

"Good! Now Duel as if your life depends on it! Because it does!"

"I Draw! I activate Dark World Accension and fusion summon Grapha, Dragon Overlord of Dark World by sending Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World and Latinum, Exarch of Dark world to the Graveyard!"

A black, gold, and silver dragon appeared on the battlefield with golden black lightning crashing around it.

"I End!"

"I normal summon Synchron Resonator in Face Up Attack position and end my turn!"

"Why would the Undying One or Jason make such a beginners mistake?" Yami asked.

"He wouldn't, unless... GERALD!" Mokuba shouted. "DESTROY HIS SYNCHRON RESONATOR! IF HE'S ALLOWED TO SYNCHRO SUMMON THEN YOU WILL DIE!"

"GRAPHA! DRAGON OVERLORD OF DARK WORLD! ATTACK SYNCHRON RESONATOR! DARK WORLD SHOCKBLAST!"

Grapha, Overlord of Dark World roared and Ligtning struck Synchron Resonator and hit Jason with the excess.

Jason fell to his knees, hitting the ground hard enough to be audible, and it looked as though he'd stopped breathing."

"JASON!" Mokuba shouted.

"GET OUT OF THE WAY!" A familiar yet different said.

Jason looked up and threw a blank Duel Monsters Card at a man running away.

The Duel Monsters Card Hit the man causing him to drop.

A man wearing black sunglasses, a black trench coat, and a black shirt with the words: "I AM THE HYPE!" Printed on it run up. "Whoa. Thank you. Here." He handed Jason a deck. "Please, take this."

Jason didn't have the strength to decline, so he took the deck.

"Thank you." The man said. "This Man was a Front Runner for human traffickers... amongst other things."

Jason glared at the man he'd trapped in the Duel Monsters Card. He pulled his knife and brought it down to kill him.

The man who'd chased the trafficker caught Jason's hand. "Don't." He spoke. "He won't last a week in prison."

Jason dropped the knife and took a breath while Gerald walked over.

The man grabbed Gerald and walked him to an alley and grabbed him. "That was stupid." He spoke. "Incredibly stupid. Take five." He punched Gerald, knocking him out before walking back over to Jason, Yugi, and Mokuba. "That was dumb." He told Jason. "That was very dumb. You let him bait you and you nearly lost your soul, letting the Aladhi taking over. Do you know how bad that would have been? You are the only one keeping him in line. Do not do that again."

"Who are you?" Jason asked.

"My name is Tommy Rale Tale. I know of the Millenium Items."

"How?" Mokuba asked.

"I am a traveler. I know things. Yami, would you like to Duel? Mokuba. Take Jason to get some soul food. The real Duelist's are Dueling."

"Hey!"

"Go on." Tommy waved them away.

"Let's go." Jason said. "I know he's being an ass, but I need to get something to eat."

"Okay, let's go."

Jason and Mokuba left while Yami and Tommy shuffled each other's decks.

"Pharaoh, If you win this Duel, I will give you this deck."

"WHAT!?" Yami asked. "How do you know me? Why are you going to give me an entire deck?"

"I know because I am a traveler, and yes, you are getting this deck if you win. I will be taking Arkana's Dark Magician."

"What?"

"How do you know that I have Arkana's Dark Magician?"

"I am a traveler."

"Why are you giving me a complete deck?"

"Because the look on Kaiba's face will be priceless."

"What?"

"Yes. Now, let's Duel."

"I'll go first." Tommy said. "I draw." He looked at his hand. "I set Kitchen Dragonmaid in face up Defense Position. Next, I'll play the spell card Dragonmaid Hospitality, Special Summoning Dragonmaid Nudyarl from my hand which then allows me to send a card of the same attribute, but a different name from my Deck to the Graveyard."

A maid with red hair and a red tail appeared on the field, followed by a lavender dragon.

"What kind of Deck are you playing!?" Yami asked.

"Oh, I play anime girl themed decks... usually. I gave your friend Joey a Vampire themed deck when he beat me. That Deck didn't pop off for me. Hopefully it will for him."

"What are you talking about?"

"Oh. You didn't know that. I Dueled Joey with a Vampire themed Deck and gave it to him when he won. I end by the way."

"I draw." Yami said. "I set a Card in the Spell and Trap zone. I end."

A holographic card appeared on the battlefield.

"I'll draw. Next, I'll play Parlor Dragonmaid in Face Up Defense Mode." A Maid with green hair and a green dragons tail appeared on the field in face up defense position. Dragonmaid Nudyarl! Attack!"

"Trap Card Activate!" Yami shouted. "I activate the trap card Magician Navigation! This card has been infused with the Magic's from my Dark Magician and his student, Dark Magician Girl!"

Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl appeared on the battlefield.

"And with them on the field together, their magic is at its strongest! Dark Burning Magic!"

Both Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl leveled their wands at Tommy's field and blasted his side of the field away.

"Oh. Damn." Tommy said. "I forfeit. You win. Here. Take my Dragonmaid deck."

"Why are you giving me this deck?"

"Because. You won. I lost. Due to this, I am giving you my Dragonmaid deck."

"You told Mokuba to take Jason away because the "real" Duelist's were doing. Jason has given me better Duel's without even trying."

"Noted, but you ended me before my Deck even got going. Had you not beaten me that easily, then you could have lost."

"Unlikely, but I will take your deck on the condition that you apologize to Jason the next time you see him."

"As you wish... Pharaoh."

Yugi walked around until his phone vibrated. Looking down he saw a group text from Joey.

Joey: Hey Yuge, come down to the docks.

If Joey had sent a group text, it must have meant that he was in trouble. With that, Yami took off for the docks.

When Yami arrived at the docks, he saw Kaiba, Mokuba, Saru, Kaeru, Ryder, Tina, and Mina standing on the sidelines , being forced to watch. Shiera, Joey, Miho, and Jason chained to cargo containers with Conner, Serenity, Tristan, Kazutaka, and... "TÉA!" Yugi shouted, taking control.

Rare Hunters surrounded Yugi and, lifting him bodily, dragged him to the dock and chained him to the Cargo container TéA was standing on.

"Yugi!" TéA shouted.

"Leave him alone!" Joey shouted.

Jason threw a knife, killing a Rare Hunter, and was beaten for it, knocking him down until he grabbed one of the Rare Hunter's by the face and slammed him into the ground with enough force that everyone heard a crack, and the Rare Hunter died; causing the others to back off.

"Pharaoh!" Marik's voice seemed to come from everywhere. "Now that you are here, our Duel can start!"
