Meanwhile Fred and Velma were being chased by Chica and her cupcake and Foxy the pirate. They run around the room avoiding their attacks. Suddenly, Fred spots a vent on the wall and he decides to climb into it. Velma follows suit, with Chica and Foxy hot on their track. As they climb deeper into the ventilation system, they come across various maintenance tunnels and equipment rooms. They eventually find themselves in a room filled with various electronics and wires, with a large control panel in the center.
Fred and Velma examine the control panel, trying to find a way to stop Chica and Foxy. After a few minutes of fiddling with switches and buttons, they manage to override the animatronics' control system. With a final click, the animatronics come to a halt, their eyes dimming once again. The duo let out a sigh of relief as they heard the sound of fighting from the other room. They quickly exit the maintenance tunnel and rejoin the others.
Out of the shadow the little cupcake attacked Fred and started to bite on the blond teen's leg. Fred screams in pain as Velma runs to help him. The pirate Foxy attacks Velma with her sword but Velma manages to dodge it. Velma kicked Foxy's sword out of her hand. Then Velma ran to help Fred as the cupcake continued to bite on his leg. Velma grabs a nearby chair and uses it to smash the cupcake and free Fred from the little cupcake's grip. They both turn around and see Scooby , Shaggy and Mike talking about what happened to both Vanessa, and Daphne.
"Did you find them?" Fred asked. Mike shook his head. "No, they were taken away by the rabbit animatronic." They all look at each other worriedly. Just then, they hear a strange noise coming from the control panel. They approach it cautiously. "I think it's coming from this button," Velma says, pointing at a small, unlabeled button. Fred hesitates for a moment, but then pushes the button. There's a flash of light showing that there is a secret compartment under the panel. Inside they find a key and a note that reads: "Use this key to unlock the door to the animatronic storage room.
The key's location is hidden somewhere in the restaurant." They quickly search the restaurant and find the key hidden behind a painting of the original Fright House crew. "Hey guys look at this painting who is this guy next to the creepy robots." ask Shaggy, causing Fred, Scooby, and Velma to look at the painting with interest. The painting shows a man with a mustache, wearing a pizza chef outfit, with a little child next to him with five other kids, and two animatronics. "That's William Afton the founder of Fredbear's Family Diner and Freddy Fazbear's Pizza and my father." Mike said while looking at the painting, clearly upset. This causes the Scooby gang to look at Mike. "Was this William guy who was accused of murdering five children?" Fred nodded. "Yes, he was. But he got away with it, and he went into hiding. Abbanden me and make me an orphan" The group pauses for a moment, lost in thought. "Well, we should get going," Velma finally says, breaking the silence. They make their way back to the animatronic storage room, using the key to unlock the door. Inside, they find rows of animatronics in various states of disrepair. Some are missing limbs, others have their eyes torn out.
"This is kinda a mess up.''Shaggy and Scooby said as Fred pushed them to go into the room first. "Maybe there are some clues in her." Velma said as she grabbed a flashlight and led them to the animatronics. "Look at this one it's missing its left arm." Fred points out one of the animatronics. "And this one have it's eyes replaced with empty sockets." Velma said while examining another one. "Hey, over here!" Shaggy calls out as he and Scooby discover a hidden compartment on one of the animatronics. Inside the compartment they find a piece of paper with a drawing of a rabbit and a message written on it. "It says 'Look for the yellow rabbit'." Shaggy read out loud.
"I think it's referring to the animatronic rabbit that took Vanessa and Daphne." Velma group exited the storage room and hurried back to the main room. They found the rabbit animatronic still standing where they had last seen it. "Okay, we need to find a way to defeat it or disable it," Fred said, taking the lead. "O not like the others." said the yellow rabbit. The rabbit snaps his finger to summon Bonne, Freddy, Chica, and Foxy back to life. "No, no, not again!" Scooby yelped. The group quickly scattered as the animatronics began to chase them.
Shaggy and Scooby hide behind a counter, while Velma and Mike huddle together in a corner. Fred finds himself trapped in the middle of the room with no place to hide. The animatronics close in on him, their menacing movements sending shivers down his spine. As they reach out for him, Fred notices a closet and runs towards it. He quickly slides inside and closes the door behind him, sealing himself in the dark. The rabbit animatronic, now seemingly in control of the other animatronics, speaks again. "Foolish meddlers. You have disturbed my rest once more. I must now destroy you all!" The animatronics continue to search for the intruders, their graspy hands leaving scratches on the walls and furniture as they go.
Shaggy and Scooby's hiding spot is soon discovered by Bonnie and Chica. They are quickly overpowered and dragged away by the two animatronics. Velma and Mike manage to sneak past Foxy, who is momentarily distracted by a mirror, and make their way towards the closet where Fred is hiding. "Fred, we need to work together to stop this rabbit!" Velma whispers to Mike. "And we have to save Shaggy and Scooby!" Mike als stated they have to find both Vanessa, and Daphne.
They open the closet and join Fred inside. "Okay, Fred, what's your plan?" Velma asks, her voice shaking with fear. Fred takes a deep breath and thinks for a moment. "I have an idea. But we're going to need all of our skills to pull it off."
