Three years later, the kittens are a bit older. They're more self-aware of the world itself. Because of this, they encounter both good and bad on a daily to weekly basis. Take Berlioz for example. If there's a way to NOT succeed at anything you do, Berlioz has discovered that. As of now, he's lost 10,000 checkers games to Marie. He tends to miss fly balls or strikes out in the last inning of every baseball game. He can never truly pass a test no matter the subject, and no matter how hard he tries, he can't seem to write a letter to his pen pal without his pen leaking all over his paper. And that's not all, he's 30 to 45 minutes late to school every day. Whenever he tries to flatter the girls at school, the consequences are disastrous. And his friends are especially hard on him at times. Whenever it's time for the pool to come out, he's told that there isn't any room for him. On Valentine's Day, he doesn't receive a single valentine. During the annual Christmas party, his parents tend to embarrass him, and whenever he tries to fit in or make everybody laugh. They end up laughing at him, and in the end, he made an overall fool of himself. And his chief antagonist, Buster, constantly plays one upmanship on poor Berlioz. Every. Single. Day. Whether it's making fun of him, beating him to a pulp, chasing him over a simple accident, or ruining poor Berlioz's day overall. These are all flaws that haunt Berlioz every day, but there's one cat who changes all of that. Toulouse!

"TOULOUSEEE, HEEEEEEEELPPP!", shouted Berlioz from afar.

Toulouse had seen it all from above because he had the Hopter on his head.

Toulouse started to think to himself, 'First things first, I got to get Buster out of Berlioz' hair so I can get him to safety. But what will I use...'

Then, it had seemed as if a lightbulb lit up inside his head. 'I'd better go ahead and use the Handy Crane, that'll teach Buster for picking on my brother.'

Toulouse landed safely on the ground, took the Handy Crane out, and grabbed Buster with it.

Buster then tried to wiggle out, "HEY! LEMME OUTTA 'DIS."

Toulouse then thought, 'Hmm. Where should I take him. Oh! I know where he can go!"

Toulouse lifted Buster all the way up to a smoke tower a couple of blocks away. He then saw Berlioz run toward him. Berlioz had been running so fast he could barely breathe or speak in that manner.

"Toulouse..." panted Berlioz.

"Yes?"

"Thanks for saving me from getting pounded. It'll probably happen again soon, but it's nice to get a break y'know". Berlioz explained to his brother. He was shaking hands...or paws...with Toulouse. Toulouse then smiled and proceeded to respond.

"No problem Ber, but I will say this. Getting you out of trouble is like trying to gather up a pack of baby bunnies."

The two boys then laughed for a while.

"Toulouse."

"Berlioz."

"Toulouse, I don't know what I'll ever do without you in my life."

"Me either, little brother."

Monday morning, 7:45 AM

Berlioz is still sleeping peacefully in his bed, as he slowly starts to wake up. He sees Toulouse standing over him.

"Uhhhh Toulouse, you're already up?", asked Berlioz.

Toulouse then replied with a cool smile, "Yup! And I've agreed with Marie, Mom, and Dad to do something."

"What?"

"I've agreed to turn your life around for the better. Face it Berlioz, you're clumsy as an ox, you're not the brightest, you put on weight, and it seems like everyone sees you as an overall flop. And I think it's time we changed that for the better, so by the time you're a grown-up cat. You'll be successful with no problems. Got it?"

"How will we start? I mean, this is all so...sudden." whispered Berlioz.

Toulouse then said, "I'm sure you've noticed that you're up a bit earlier than usual. And if we're going to turn you into an almost flawless cat, that means no more being late for school every day. And that also means it won't cause me to be late for school every day."

Berlioz added, "But I'm slow in general, how will I speed up the process of getting ready to go. And on top of that I have to run all the way to school."

"Drink this!", answered Toulouse.

"Isn't this that one drink that makes you do everything about a hundred times faster". Berlioz questioned.

"Exactly, this right here is called the Quicky Drink. This'll make going to school a breeze. And, I have something else that'll make it even easier." Toulouse announced confidently.

"What?"

Toulouse then took out a strange looking door. The door was very wide, and the paint color was magenta.

"This is the Anywhere Door; it takes you anywhere when requested". Explained Toulouse.

Berlioz walked around the door, looking at it from all sides.

"First things first, drink the Quicky Drink, get out of your pajamas, tell the Anywhere Door that you want to go to school. Problem solved!". Toulouse explained while walking in circles.

Berlioz took the Quicky Drink and drank it till it was all gone. He started to do everything faster once it kicked in. He got out of his pajamas, brushed his teeth, did everything he had to do before he headed off to school.

Berlioz then walked up to the Anywhere Door and said, "I want to go to school!"

Then suddenly, the Anywhere Door opened. And all he saw was his everyday school hallway. In complete disbelief as to what had just happened. He was a bit hesitant to walk in, but it's what he had to do. He then walked in and looked around; it was as if he had never been in the place before. He later saw recognizable group of kids that were already there, walking in front of him. In the group were three dogs, one cat, one mouse, and one fox. They were chatting amongst themselves.

The tallest dog's name was Scamp. A mutt. He was busy talking about this new action figure his parents got him over the weekend. The shortest dog out of the three was named Angel. A Pomeranian mix. She had been patiently listening to what he was bragging about. The second tallest dog was named Annette. A cocker spaniel mix. She had her mother's looks, making her very attractive to all the boys in school. And Berlioz knew it, they were just best friends. So, he never really said anything about it. But it was obvious he found her pretty. The fox's name was Tod, the mouse's name was Bernard. And the cat's name was Oliver. They were all very interested in hearing about Scamp's action figure.

Berlioz proudly walked up to them, wanting to join the conversation. Not only that, but he also wanted to show that he was early for school for a change.

"Morning guys! Check me out, I'm at school on time!" declared Berlioz.

"HUH?! Is this real, Berlioz isn't late today?!" shouted Scamp. The dog was clearly in disbelief.

Toulouse then walked beside the group and added, "Yup! He's here!"

"I..But you're always late". Angel added, she was also in disbelief. She felt like her eyes were lying to her.

Berlioz then walked up to Annette and said, "Hey Annette! I'm here bright n' early!"

Annette then replied, "Wow! This is..something. I don't think I've ever seen you at school this early."

"Can't say that I have been to school this early."

"Well, if this is such a miracle. Maybe you'll pass the next spelling test coming up". Angel added.

"Maybe. Just maybe". Berlioz replied with honor. He was already feeling ready good about himself.

'Maybe Toulouse can change my life for the better'. Berlioz thought to himself.

Later that night, at approximately 7:30 PM.

"What will I do Toulouse?!"
