Peter's pov
When Peter opened his eyes a second time, he was on a comfortable bed, and on a happy note, he could hear hushed conversation throughout the tower, plus the headache was just a distant throb. His eyes ran over the room, and he almost cried again. This was the room he always used to stay in before they moved to the lake house. It was just as he remembered leaving it two months ago. Not a trace of himself left. He was still upset that he couldn't do the same to his bedroom in the lake house. Time wasn't on his side and he didn't have 3 hours. With a small but sad smile, he addressed FRIDAY,
" Friday, where are the others?" Peter asked the question not really expecting an answer. If his hack as perfect as he thought the al should fisrt ask for a password before replying. So the reply surprised him, " the avengers are in the common living area waiting for you to wake up and Mr Stark is resting after his panic attack, Peter."
Peter knew he should have got Ned to help with the coding. Atleast he new the rest worked out perfectly. Otherwise his dad would have found him after the first week.
Peter started to panic. That was what he had forgotten. He was kinda out of it when Steve took him out of the white room, so he barely heard Bruce tell Tony to breathe. Before Peter could ask more about Tony, another thought hit him. Friday had said his real name. Another thing she wasn't supposed to be able to do.
"Friday, did the hack not work completely?"
" I have the hack still in my system and it mostly works. If anyone else asks about you I need a password but I can still talk to you."
Before Peter could reply the Al was talking again," All files of you, boss, and the team or locked and ready per your permission."
Peter thought for a few seconds before letting out a sigh, he guessed with his emotions being all over the place the cat was out of the bag. He caused enough confusion it was time to reveal himself even if he didn't like it.
Before Peter could think about it anymore, there was a knock on the door. Clint walked into the room with a frown on his face. This time, Peter didn't cry, although he knew Clint and he was still part of the family. It was better than trying to talk to Tony.
Clint stayed in the doorway, debating some mental struggle before stating, " You're a kid."
Before Peter could even think about what he was going to say, the words spilt out in a way Tony used to call a word vomit,
" The first time we talked, this exact thing happened, and if you're here to talk me out of being a spider man, it is not going to work. I in any way think there are more important things to talk about, but either way , in case you assumed wrongly, I am almost 16, not that much of a baby. "
Peter's breathed in gulp of air, Tony was most of the time right he could last long without oxygen. That rant was said without a break for breath.
Clint started at him for a few seconds before saying, " You are probably right, but for your information, saying almost in front of your age is a dead giveaway that you're younger."
Peter smiled sadly.
A coughing sound was made from the doorway. Peter looked up to see Steve standing by the door.
"I knew it would be a bad idea to send Clint in,you two are from what I can hear biggering back and forth instead of getting answers."
While Clint scoffed, Peter had one thought running through his mind, just like old times.
Steve, choosing to ignore Clint, asked, "Name? "
"Peter Parker"
"Where do you live, and who are your parents?"
"I live on my own, and my parents were Richard and Marie Parker. Both are dead."
Clint seemed to process this for a few seconds before spitting out, " Why don't you live with other relatives, kids your age shouldn't be own there own."
"I don't have any realitives left my last one dead two months ago."
The two Avengers stood still for a few seconds, knowing expressions on their faces. Another new person from the door whispered," That just bad, even for our standards."
Everyone agreed with Sam...
Steve cleared his throat uncomfortably before asking, "Why did you call Tony dad and say that we are supposed to know you?" He actually did call Tony dad in front of everyone, oops.
Peter ignored the hard question and instead asked his own,"Is d-tony, I mean Mr Stark okay after earlier?"
A few narrowed eyes were directed at Peter
Steve, in his captain's voice, asked, "Why are you avoiding the question, son?"
Peter sighed quietly before saying," I just remember things you guys don't..."
Tony's Pov
On the other side of the hall, Tony eyes snapped open only to find himself in his bedroom ,with Bruce sitting on the couch in the corner of the room. Tony's mind took a few seconds, but he knew there was something wrong with his kid, and here the doctor sat with him instead ,reading a book!
Tony's tone was acussing as he said, "What are you doing here, and where is my kid?"
Bruce startled from his position, looking slightly confused, "You're kid?"
Tony couldn't be more clear, " Yes, Bruce, my kid ,I need to see him."
Before Bruce could reply, Tony was jumping off the bed and addressing Friday, "Fri, where is my kid?"
"Second door to the right, boss." The al replied calmly.
Tony, after putting shoes on, rushed out of the room. He could hear Bruce coming up behind him, muttering under his breath," Isn't that where spider-man is sleeping? "Tony ignored him, picking up pace.
At the entrance of the room stood Sam. The hero was giving him a weird look and asked a question that resembled," Are you not supposed to be resting?"Tony ignored Sam he had ears for only one voice.
His kid asked in a confused tone from the inside of the room," Tony?"
Tony finally had eyes on his kid. Running past the other people in the room, he threw his arms around the frozen boy.
Peter hasn't had a hug in so long it almost hurt, and to feel his dad's arms around him made him freeze. But that only lasted for a few seconds. He was soon rapping his arms around Tony.
A strangled sob erupted out of Peter's chest.
His dad stood back only slightly and lifted Peter's chin with his now free hand. Tony brushed away a few curls from his face before whispering in a soothing tone," It's okay baby, I'm here."
As Tony placed a soft kiss on Peters head, the said boy couldn't help but cry out, " You remember me? "
Tony cringed slightly.
"I remember some things, yes, but not everything."
