Tony's pov

Tony's eyes slowly opened, and there was a distant throb at the back of his head, but Tony couldn't make himself care or even think about it. He remembered Peter. All the late nights in the workshop and movies on the couch. The times Peter had the occasional nightmare or just a bad day, and he slept in between Tony and Pepper.

The first time, he called Pepper mom when he was fever ridden, and all the many times he called Tony dad.

All those times spent at the tower because Tony couldn't stand to be 3 hours away from his kid on school days. The lake house used to be reserved for weekends and summer break. A soft chuckle escaped his parted lips, his kid was back, and he wasn't letting him out of his vision soon.

Tony's eyes rested on Pepper as he shifted into a sitting position. Pepper looked calmer than she had in a while, and her lips moved slowly as she whispered under her breath. Tony had to strain to hear her say,

"Our spiderbaby..."

Tony stood up;ignoring the pain in his back. He wasn't getting any younger. With a wide smile, he stretched out a hand towards the now seated Pepper.

After pulling her into his arms, the couple made their way to Peter's bedroom. They had a kid who needed infinity hugs and kisses. Tony didn't care how cheesy that sounded he hadn't been able to do either of those things in two months.

Standing at the door, Tony knocked softly.

A hushed tone carried back,"Came in."

Tony didn't even know it was possible for his smile to grow in size, but he managed it. His two kids were curled up on the bean bag chair. Morgan's hair was fanned out all over the place, but with her face pressed against Peter's chest, she didn'tseemto mind. The older boy was blinking at them owlishly, looking like a puppy that was rudely awakened. Tony was happy Peter had been asleep. The kid looked like he hadn't in a while if the purple circles under his eyes were anything to go by.

Next to Tony, Pepper waved at the boy, and she was sporting a look that screamed, I wanted to squeeze you. Tony was probably mirroring the same expression. It has been two months!

Out of nowhere, Morgan lifted her head sleeply and said," Why are you staring? I need my hugs."

Accepting the invitation after some chuckles, both adults walked towards the bean bag chair.

Pepper was first to say, "Come here, Pete."

Grinning Peter removed Morgan from his lap before falling into Pepper's arms. Peter mummered into Pepper's hair, "missed you, mom."

Tony wrapped his arms around both of them. He wasn't sitting out on a family hug. Morgan, having similar thoughts, let out a tiny huff before hugging all their legs.

Peter said after a few moments," I'm happy now."

The whole family nodded in agreement. This was perfect. Tony couldn't be happier ,he had the majority of people he loved in his arms.

Morgan's birthday

Peter grinned as he handed Morgan her gift. It was a bit last minute, but Peter was sure his little sister would love it. After ripping open the gift paper, Morgan carefully lifted out the velvet jewellery box.

Opening it, she pulled out two bracelets. The one with a black half-hearted charm and the other one the same but white. The black one was engraved with the words big brother. The white one said little sister, but it also had an extra message on the back to help you remember me.

The two bracelets fitted together with a magnetic pull.

Sqeeling in delight, Morgan handed Peter the black one before she, surprisingly delicately, fastened her own.

The rest of the afternoon was spent on the couch watching movies with his family and eating as a predicted overly sweet cake. It was perfect. Tony had similar views, having spent most of the time hugging his two kids, Pepper not far behind him.

The end...
