Ziggy whimpered from the dark cage he was locked in.
"That's it, whimper like the dog you are."
Ziggy curled up in pain as the collar around his neck sent shocks through his body.
"You're weak, just like they said you'd be. Surprised you ever were chosen to be a ranger."
Ziggy shut his eyes and didn't respond.
Hours later, the door to the cage was forced open and Ziggy huddled against the back of it.
"Shh, it's me," a familiar voice spoke.
"Dil?"
"Yeah, you're safe now."
Ziggy slowly made his way out of the cage before Dillon removed the collar and wrapped his arms around the green ranger.
"You're safe.. Don't worry."
Ziggy clung to him desperately as Dillon carried him out to the car to take him back home where he belonged.
