Finn was soaked from the heavy rain but he didn't really feel it. It had been raining for three days straight, and for three days straight he had been walking around in it. He only returned home to eat and sleep but he hated being inside those walls. They were closing in on him and making him aware of how lonely he felt.

Three days of rain, three days of tears.

Theta came to see him three days ago. It had just started raining when she arrived. He thought she looked cute with her long, light brown hair being soaked and sticking to her grey checkered coat. It wasn't until he saw the look in her cognac brown eyes that his smile dropped. She wasn't there to come inside and spend the night as his girlfriend like many times before. She was there to break up with him.

Three days of heartbreak, three days of tears.

At first he had been standing in the open door, watching her leave and hoping she would come back and say it was just a joke. A very bad joke but just a joke. She didn't come back. Slowly the tears started falling and the house started smothering him. He needed to get out so he put on his boots and jacket and went out in the pouring rain.

Three days of walking, three days of tears.

No one noticed him crying. The rain covered it up so he continued walking around to hide his pain in plain sight. And just like that on day three, the rain suddenly stopped. He stopped walking too. He turned his face to the sky, wishing the rain would return. Instead the sun was trying to fight its way through the clouds.

Three days of pain, three days of tears.

He couldn't do it anymore. He needed to talk to someone. He started running to get away from the sun that was about to return. He needed to see someone before he lost his mind. He ran all the way to Damian's house and started pounding on the door. Damian opened and his face screamed of concern when he saw the state Finn was in.

"What's wrong, Finn?" Damian asked.
"She left me," Finn sobbed. "Theta left me three days ago and I don't know how to handle it. I feel like I can't breathe and that nothing is worth living for."

Damian pulled Finn into his arms and held him close for a much needed hug. There was no judgment. Just a friend comforting a friend in need. Suddenly it seemed stupid how Finn had handled the last three days. He needed the sun. He needed his friend. He needed to talk in order to move on.

Three days of tears, three long and hurtful days.

"I feel like a fool," Finn said.
"Don't say that. We've all been there. It's never fun losing someone we love," Damian said.

Finn sniffled and dried his nose on his sleeve.

"Can I stay here today?" Finn asked.
"Of course," Damian smiled. "In fact, you're staying the night. I'm not taking no for an answer. I'm gonna call the guys and have them come over with snacks, and we're gonna crash in the living room and watch some bad horror movies."
"I'd like that," Finn nodded. "Thank you."
