"This place is totally devastated," Makoto gasped, her voice laced with worry.
"Where could everyone be?" Ayumo muttered, his gaze scanning the crumbling buildings.
Suddenly, a raspy voice boomed from the shadows, sending shivers down their spines.
"So you are the legendary rider Sho Yamato? Right?"
The group jumped back, eyes darting around to identify the source. The voice seemed to permeate the air, with no visible origin.
"Hey! Who's there?" Sho shouted, gripping his Flame Kaiser's handlebars.
A figure emerged from behind a pile of rubble, silhouetted against the moonlit sky. Clad in black, with glowing red eyes piercing through the darkness, the figure radiated an aura of menace.
"I am X," the figure spoke, his voice distorted like warped metal. "And I challenge you, Sho Yamato, to an Idaten Jump Battle. If you win, I will tell you everything that happened here."

Sho utilized Flame Kaiser's agility, performing a death-defying corkscrew jump around the debris, leaving X momentarily in his wake. Seizing the chance, Sho unleashed his signature "Inferno Dive," a flaming meteor plummeting towards X from above.
Caught off guard, X barely managed to shield himself with a blast of dark energy. The collision created a shockwave that rippled through the city, rattling the few remaining windows and dislodging loose bricks.
As the dust settled, X lay sprawled on the ground, his black bike smoking and sparking.

With a final rasp, X's body dissolved into a cloud of black smoke, leaving Sho and his friends standing amidst the devastation.

"Sho! Thank goodness you're here!" Miss Uk coughed, her face streaked with dust and grime. "The city... it was attacked! A powerful force came from nowhere, shrouded in darkness, and they destroyed everything."
"Do you know where my father is?" Sho urged, his voice desperate.
Miss Uk's eyes widened. "Sho... your father... he's gone. He tried to defend the city, but they overwhelmed him. They took him... to the X Tower."
