Evelyn's p.o.v.

"I have a ...situation.", I hear Tony's voice as the lab door open.

"I can see that.", I say with a smile, tilting my head a little.

Tony walks towards me, his suit looking like he was a really active participant in the World War II.

"You're ruining your suits far quicker than usual.", I say, standing up and walking towards him.

"You should have been there. The Russians are some crazy mother fuckers. I mean, I knew that but this was a genuine surprise.", he informs me as we take broken pieces of hard, cold, metal away from his body.

Yea, I should have been there but I wasn't ...as usual.

When Fury offered me this job, I didn't expect it to be an office job. Quite disappointing. I bet my ass Tony's to blame for that.

"Do others look as destroyed as you?", I ask.

"Nat broke a finger."

I raise my eyebrow, "A finger? That doesn't sound so bad."

"Yea, well, she wasn't in the active fight as much as I was."

I smile, "I didn't mean it as a critique."

"It sounded like that."

And it always does.

"Can you fix it by tomorrow?"

I look at him, "Tomorrow? Don't you have another one?"

"I perfected Mark XLII just two weeks ago. I can use Mark VI but ...it's Mark VI. Come on Nea, I know you can do it."

"I never said I can't."

He frowns, "I don't understand."

"But do I have time or do I want to, now that's a whole other sets of questions.", I say with a smirk.

"Seriously?"

"Seriously. I made plans for tonight and I think I deserve a night off, after almost two months of working late hours."

"What plans?", he asks, getting curious.

"Nat, Maria and I are going to dinner and movies.", I say, walking back to my table.

"Nat broke her finger.", Tony reminds me.

"She doesn't need a finger to walk.", I say, pulling out all the tools I need for scanning the broken parts.

"And she will eat with her feet?"

I sigh, "Maria didn't break anything."

"So you're gonna fuck me off because of dinner and a movie?"

"Your new mission starts in a week so I have plenty of time to fix Mark. Chill."

Tony's about to say something but Nat's head peeking in interrupts him.

"Fury wants to see us."

"Now?", Tony asks and she nods.

"Are you okay?", I ask.

She frowns, "Why wouldn't I be?"

I look from her, to Tony and back to her, "Isn't your finger broken?"

She smirks, "Just a scratch, don't worry. We're still going out, right?"

I nod and she leaves.

Crossing my arms, I look at Tony who just rolls his eyes.

Severus's p.o.v.

"Did you think this trough, Albus?", Minerva asks, her voice filled with concern.

"Many times."

"Do you really think the best solution is to involve someone from the outside?", she continues.

"I didn't say it is the best solution but a necessary one. Nick has my trust and I know he will give us their best solution.", he tells her calmly.

"Severus.", Minerva whispers, looking at me.

I clear my throat, "I have to say that this time I agree with Minerva. Dragging a muggle into this seems quite foolish and dangerous. I think we are more than capable of handling this situation on our own ...but, if your opinion is different, and you are certain of your decision, I will support it."

"Thank you Severus."

Minerva sighs, visibly dissatisfied with my input.

"If there are no more questions, you can leave. It's quite late.", he tells us.

I nod, "Goodnight Albus ...Minerva."

"Goodnight."

I exit his office and walk towards the dungeons. Half way there, I hear footsteps behind me so I turn around, thinking it's a student breaking the curfew but instead I see Minerva walking fast towards me. I mentally prepare myself for an argument.

"You truly believe that this is a good idea?", she asks while approaching me.

"I never said that."

"Then talk to him! What he's doing is insane."

"Like most things he does. Also, he's stubborn and talking or discussing it won't change his mind, you know that.", I say casually.

"So I'm supposed to just go along with everything?"

"I don't see any different option."

"This is not going to end well.", she tells me and walks away.
