"Fri, start the coffee machine, would you dear?" The Al didn't even have to reply as Tony's ears picked up the humming sound of his favourite coffee machine starting up. Still satisfied, Tony moved deeper into his living room. He wanted to call his kids, but the house was so odly quite they might be sleeping or something like that. Neither of those thoughts was right, though, as his heart gave a tightening squeeze. Peter was lying on the floor. His form is unmoving, and his eyes fixated on the roof. Tony gasped out in confusion and fear. What was wrong with him? Where was Morgan?

"Peter?" Tony all but gasped. The boys head moved slowly to look at him, and Peter whispered out, "Shhh, I'm injured."

What was this? Some sort of horror scene straight out of the depths of his mind? Tony fell down at Peter's side, barking out, "Friday scan him!"

"Dad, stop it, Morgan is going to back any second..."

Tony gazed at Peter's face. Was the injury report so serious that he didn't want Morgan hearing? That would be just like something his self-sacrificing kid would do. Before Friday could report on Tony's requiry or Peter could offer his resurrance of being fine a dramatic gasp came from the hallway. Morgan little feet padded closer as she said, "Pete, I told you not to move or talk while I was gone!"

There was a stern tone to the little girls voice as she continued, this time directed to Tony, "Move."

"Morguna..."Tony said in a disapproving tone, but the girl paid him no attention as she lifted one of Peter's hands. Ever so carefully, Morgan placed a band-aid on the tiniest cut.

"Paper cut."Peter mouthed in Tony's direction. Tony eyes finally travelled over the colouring book and pencils laying close by.

Morgan placed a soft kiss on Peter's bandaged finger before saying, " All better, Petey ."

Peter moved into a setted position, " Thank you very much, Doctor Morgan."

Tony, still trying to make his heart believe everything was fine, just looked at his two very healthy kids with fondness. That cup of coffee would be appreciated right about now.
