You booked the night train for a reason
Your hometown skeptics called it.
Sometimes you just don't know the answer.
"Mom can he have dinner with us.?" Bailey asked.
"I doubt he has time for that and i'm sure he has plans of his own to keep. Brooke replied.
"You're mom is right. But i'm going to give you my number."
"You can call it whenever you want." Felix replied.
Brooke glared at Felix. Feeling Bailey come up behind her and reach his hand out for the paper.
"You mean it. I can call you and you'll pick up. And we can do stuff together?" Bailey asked.
"I wouldn't say so if i didn't mean it." Felix reassures him. Before leaving.
Brooke fought the urge to slam the door in his face and keep him out of their lives. But he didn't care about what should be done.
He saw that Bailey had a genuine interest to know and that was all he needed.

Hours Later
Brooke clutched her cellphone as she laid in bed. Looking out the window.
"Brooke we can cancel our trip and plan it again when things settle down if you want?" Lucas suggested
"No that's the the last thing i want to happen. Nothing is moving forward with Felix until we get back." Brooke replied.
On the drive to was quieter then normal.
When they got in the school carpool line.
Brooke parked the car and turned to him.
"I know something is wrong. You know we can talk about anything." Brooke said.
"The number he gave was disconnected. It was probably a mistake."
"I just thought it was weird." Bailey replied.
