Chapter 4

Miho couldn't help but feel overwhelming amounts of excitement as she ran through the neighborhood towards the museum; after all this was the second time she ever hung out with friends somewhere that wasn't at her own home in her whole life. She was so excited that despite her putting a decent amount of effort and energy into cleaning her room and making it appear more "presentable to guests", she still had a hard time falling to sleep. As she arrived at the same spot where they had been before, she noticed Annelien was already there waiting.

"Hey Annelien, I hope you weren't waiting too long," Miho greeted, with a pant accompanying every word she spoke. "Even though technically we're both early," she uttered, still panting hard and starting to break a sweat, placing her hands on a nearby pole to support her exhausted body.

"We're not that early, it's only 10:40 so we're only 5 minutes early," Annelien countered. Immediately after Miho arrived home, she created a group chat with Annelien, Yukari, Saori, and Hana and asked if 10:45 am, 15 minutes before the museum would open to be a good time for them to meet up so they wouldn't have to wait long to buy tickets to enter and possibly enjoy most or even all of the activities and features offered; to which everyone agreed with. "Dang, you look beat, are you sure you're gonna be able to enjoy today fully?"

"Yeah, I'm good, this is nothing compared to PT during MLS, just give me a second to catch my breath." Miho answered, her breathing had started to steady back to its normal rhythm. With her exhaustion not impacting her as much as it did before, Miho took the chance to fully look at the entire building they'd spend most of the day in. "Wow, it looks bigger up close than when we saw it yesterday," she commented.

"Hey Miho, Annelien," they hear someone calling out to them.

"Ah Yukari, right on time." Annelien remarked as Yukari arrived.

"Well you're only on time if you're early, that's what they taught us at MLS right?" Yukari said, causing the other two to slightly chuckle.

As soon as the clock struck 10:45, they noticed Saroi and Hana heading over to them as fast as they could, "phew, thank goodness we made it on time," Saori said, panting.

"You two gonna be ok," Miho asked, reminded of her exhausted state from a few minutes ago.

"Yeah," Hana answered. "My mother wanted me to work a bit on my flower arrangement before leaving home." She explained, wiping some sweat off her forehead with her hand.

"And I accidentally overslept," Saroi whiningly explained.

"Saori, I know we agreed to meet at 10:45, but the museum doesn't open for another 15 minutes, I only suggested this time so we wouldn't have a long line ahead of us for buying tickets, even if you and Hana had arrived late, you both could just join us in line and not have to wait any longer than the rest of us." Miho explained, placing a hand on Saroi's shoulder, hoping that would help put her friend's mind at ease.

"Even though that was certainly true," Hana refuted, having regained her composure. "It wouldn't be right of me and Saori to take our leisurely time getting here when you all went through the effort of getting us a good spot in the first place. Honestly, it to me would seem like we'd just be using you and I don't want to do that to or have that done to me by my friend."

"Yeah," Saori joined Hana. "We agreed to meet at that time, and so it's only right if we take it as seriously as you."

"Ok, well I can see a line starting to form right now so let's put this conversation on hold until we claim our spot." Annelien pointed out. All five girls immediately hurried to get in line for the soon to be open ticket booth to buy tickets into the museum.
