Narnia. The most peaceful planet in all the galaxy. Narnia has been peaceful since 3 years and it has been kept peaceful by King Caspian and Queen Susan. It barely rained in Narnia, because all of the water for the crops, water bodies, essential waters were given by the all mighty Aslan. After 5 months it rained in Narnia and it was quite a sight, but for little Anne, not so much...
Susan and Caspian were peacefully sleeping and then Susan sensed a very scared Anne.
"Caspian. Caspian. Caspian!" Susan called him.
"What is it?!" Caspian asked her with a hoarse voice but in a grumpy tone.
"I sensed Anne. She is very scared. I think she is having a nightmare!" Susan told him with a clear distress in her voice.
"I will go check." Caspian told Susan as he was getting out of their king sized bed.
Caspian walked the long hallways to their beloved daughter. His little princess. He quickly opened the door and found a tear and sweat stained face lying on a queen sized bed. All the covers are anywhere but on Anne's body. Her hair was a mess. She was sleeping and crying.
"Anne. Anne. Wake up princess, it's just a dream. It's just a dream" Caspian gently woke her up and hugged her tightly. She was sobbing and she looked up with her beautiful ocean eyes to meet Caspian's dark eyes.
"Daddy, it was so scary, there was a war and so many men were killed and there was blood everywhere and-" Anne broke down to tears.
"Shh it's ok tell me what happened next," Caspian comforted her.
"Then I saw that you and mommy... were not there anymore..." Anne broke down into sobs. Caspian hugged her tightly and rubbed her back soothingly.
"Shh it's ok, I am here amn't I? Mommy is in the bedroom. Everyone is safe." Caspian calmed her down.
"Look, the rain is here telling everything is ok." Caspian told her.
"Daddy, can I sleep with you guys?" Anne asked.
"Of course, let's go!" Caspian replied and carried his little princess to the bedroom that he shared with his beautiful wife. Anne giggled as her father swayed her and tossed her into the air and caught her. Then they entered the bedroom where Susan was lying down on her side. Staring at the window.
"Mummy!" Anne called out and came running to her mum. Susan got up and hugged her only daughter. Caspian smiled at the sight.
"You guys wait, since it's winter I will bring some hot chocolate and extra marshmallows and whipped cream for you!" Caspian said as he tickled Anne in her sides. She giggled uncontrollably.
"Caspian is it really a good idea? Marshmallows will give her a sugar rush." Susan whispered to Caspian.
"It's going to be fine, she did just have a nightmare and it's a winter so why not give her a treat? Caspian whispered back.
"I suppose you're right. All right then." Susan reluctantly agreed.
"Ok then." Caspian told them, he got out of the spacious room and then he went down to the kitchen and careful not to make any noise because the Skywalkers were sleeping. The Skywalkers are here for the New Year's celebration. He made hot chocolate for all three of them. Caspian's hot chocolate consisted of hot chocolate with marshmallows, whipped cream and cocoa powder on top, Susan's was hot chocolate with whipped cream and cookie crumbs on top and Anne's hot chocolate was hot chocolate with lots of marshmallows and extra whipped cream with cocoa powder on top. Caspian carefully put the cups on a tray and took it upstairs carefully so he does not spill.
Caspian entered the room with the tray and Anne jumped up to get her cup. They all drank the hot chocolate with their pages buried in the covers. Caspian had tears in his eyes. He never had a family of his own. His mom died giving birth to him and his dad was killed by his evil uncle Miraz. That's why he ran away to Narnia. These little moments like this made Caspian feel grateful and lucky. He felt lucky that Susan was his beautiful wife and he felt lucky that he has a beautiful daughter. He quickly brushed his tears and spent rest of the night with his family. He put his sleepy princess in between them and Susan covered her with the blanket. Then they fell asleep with the deep slumber, both of them hugging their own daughter.
Hope you liked this short chapter. This idea has been killing me and I thought why not use it on the first chapter? Please review and goodbyeeeee!!!
