An eleven-year-old boy wakes up. His name is Daniel Fenton. His Friends and Family all call him Danny. Today is a special day, for today is his birthday.
Daniel Has Raven Black Hair, Green emerald eyes, Blue jeans, a white T-shirt, And on his head. He has a lightning bolt scar.
For you see, Danny Fenton's real name is Harry Potter. Young Harry was Placed with the Fentons when Harry was just one year old. Danny's birthmother is the sister of his aunt, Maddy.
Maddy and Lily were thick as thieves and remained close till the death of the Potters. Jack and James took an instant liking to each other. They bonded over Jack and James's mutual interests.
Both Jack and James love Sports. And Jack was loving James Magic. James loved the lab of the Fentons and all of their inventions. They got on so well that the potters asked. That should anything happen to them that the Fenton's. Take care of Harry along with Sirius. All three became Harry's GodParents.
Maddy, the eldest, and Lily, the Youngest, have another Sister named Petunia.
The third sister never got along due to her jealousy. You see, Petunia was never as academically brilliant as Maddy or as magically gifted As Lily. Petunia was just Petunia, A girl who became obsessed with being considered normal.
When Maddy and Lily married, they married people who pushed them to be better. Petunia's Husband, Vernon, Vernon Only ever brought out the worst in Petunia.
You see, The Potters were Magically, thank you. And they won't apologize for it. And the Fenton's were perfectly abnormal, thank you. And like the Potters, they won't be apologizing for it either.
The Dursleys, on the other hand, were obsessed with being. Normal. And to Maddy's and Lily's sadness, Petunia just drifted away.
Now, the reason why Harry Potter is named Daniel Fenton is because the Fentons believed it would be safer for Harry if he disappeared and hid in plain sight. In America Halfway, across the world. Danny even gained a new godfather in the mysterious Vlad Masters. A friend from college drifted away For a while. Angry at Jack. But they later worked things out.
Back to today, 31 Juli 1991.
Danny wakes up and heads down to breakfast. His family surprised him, and all say. "Happy Birthday Danny." Jack, Maddy, and Jazz all hug him. Maddy says."I made your favorite breakfast. Eggs, toast, and sausages." Jazz asks playfully."Could you be any more British right now?" Danny responds with."Oh, come on, it's the one British clique I allow myself."
They all laugh when suddenly the doorbell rings. Jack says."Strange, im not expecting any visitors. Are you dear?" Maddy replies."No, I'm going to check it out. I will be right back, everyone."
Maddy heads to the front door and opens the door. Maddy sees an older woman standing in front of the door with a bun in her hair. Her clothing is also unusual. The woman introduces herself."Hello Mrs Fenton, may I come in? My name is Minerva McGonagall. It's a pleasure to meet you." Maddy replies."Of course, come on in. Miss McGonagall." Maddy guides McGonagall into the living room.
Maddy calls for the rest of the family to join her. And the rest of the Fentons join them. Minerva looks at Danny and thinks to herself.'He seems to be in good shape And happy. I made the right decision to ignore Albus that day.'
Flashback.
Surrey, England. Oktober 31, 1981.
"Albus, you can't leave the son of Lily and James Potter here. They are the worst sort of muggles. He has another family near here." says McGonagall. Dumbledore replies."Yes, but soon they will move away far from Britain. This way, we can keep an eye on him." McGonagall replies."You are ignoring their will. Albus, it's not right."
Dumbledore says."My decision is final. Let us Join the celebrations. Good luck, Harry Potter." They Apparate away.
An Hour later, McGonagall reappears in Surrey. She walks over to the basket and says."Come, Harry, let's take you to your family." She gently takes Harry and apparate away.
London at the Fenton hotel room. Jack says."Are we all packed and ready to go?" Suddenly, there is knocking on the door. Jack opens it and sees McGonagall in the introduces herself."Hello Mr Fenton. My name is Minerva McGonagall. May I come in?" Jack invites her in.
Maddy walks in and asks."Hello Ma'am. How are you?" McGonagall thinks to herself."A definite improvement." Maddy then sees the basket and asks with tears in her eyes. "Lily and James are dead, aren't they? That's why you brought Harry." McGonagall nods. And Maddy cries into Jack's shoulder.
McGonagall says."Im sorry for your loss, Mrs Fenton. Lily and James were dear to me, too. Per there will. You are now the boy's guardians." Jack asks."What about Sirius?" McGonagall says."To my great terror, it seems that Sirius Black betrayed them. And to make matters worse, He was arrested for killing no less than thirteen people."
Maddy gasps and says."I can't believe it. He and James seemed so close." McGonagall says."Mr and Mrs Fenton. It would be prudent to leave as soon as possible. My boss won't be happy I brought him here." Jack says."It's then good that our plane is departing in three hours."
Mcgonagall says."I Have to Return to the others. Best of luck to all of you."McGonagall apparates away.
Jack says."Cool, but I dont think I will ever get used to that." Jazz wakes up and asks."Why is Harry here?" Maddy says."One day, we will explain the whole story. But for now. All you need to know. Is that Harry will be living with us from now on."
The Fenton pack up and leave. At the airport, they meet a friend. The friend is an imposing man with black hair and a perfect suit. His name is Vlad Masters. Vlad says."Hello, Maddy, Jack, and Jasmine. And who is this?" Jack tells Jazz to get on the plane while the adults talk.
After hearing everything, Vlad says."Jack, Maddy, im so sorry for your loss." Maddy hugs Vlad and says."Thank you, Vlad."
Vlad replies."If what you told me is true. Then we better get out of here before we have unwelcome guests. Let's take the young badger home."
Two hours later.
On the plane, Jazz is asleep. The three friends are talking in the other room. Vlad Asks."So you are saying. The poor boy has both enemies from this dark lord. And his parent's so-called allies?" Jack replies."Yes, I especially dont care. How that headmaster was looking at Harry during the christening." Vlad thinks it over and says."I have a plan. We change the boy's name. And then we build the ghost portal."
Maddy says."That will take at least several years." Vlad replies."we turn him into a human/ghost hybrid. He will have the strength to fight back. Else im afraid the boy won't survive." Jack says."I dont like it. But it's the only chance he got." Maddy says."Okay, we did promise Lily and James to keep him safe. One more thing, Vlad. We would be honored if you become Danny's Godfather."
Vlad smiles and says."I would be honored. Dont worry. I will guide the boy every step of the way."
End flashback.
McGonagall then starts explaining why she is there."Im Here today to bring Mr Potter's acceptance letter to Hogwarts. Tell me, Mr. Potter, what do you know of Hogwarts?" Danny says."It's Mr Fenton now. And what I know of Hogwarts is. That is the school that taught my parents magic. And were they met and fell in love."
McGonagall asks."Why do you call yourself now?" Danny Explains."I still have a target on my back, Professor. And the Fentons did raise me as their own." McGonagall then asks. "What do you know of your parents?"
Danny says."My parents, after school, joined some organization that opposed a Dark Lord, and in the end, he targeted and killed them. And that's Because the dark lord wanted to kill me. That's why I want to enter the school as Mr Fenton to honor the sacrifice my parents Made. Them not knowing im Harry Potter gives me extra protection."
McGonagall thinks to herself. 'I can't argue with the logic behind that. And if the wizarding world does not know who he is. That would mean he won't have to live up to the expectations of others. He could be a normal student like any other. The question is, will Albus agree with this.'
McGonagall then asks Maddy and Jack. "What kind of Student is your son, Mr and Mrs Fenton?" Maddy says."He is amongst the top of his class. We dont care for perfect grades as long as he gives it his best." McGonagall smiles and says. "His Parents were excellent students, too. I also note that Mr Po.. I mean, Mr Fenton seems to be in good shape."
Maddy replies. I taught him Martial Arts. "To teach Danny how to use self-defense and discipline in his life. I Did the same for Jasmine. It's a mother's way to spend time with her children. In Danny's case, it serves another purpose as well."
Jazz then asks."You seem to be very interested in Danny's home life. Do you do this with all potential students?" Jack explains."Jazz, this is the person. That brought danny to us all those years ago." McGonagall then asks, surprised."So you both remember me?"
Maddy laughs and says."A woman you have only met at a wedding shows up with a baby. And telling you that your sister and her husband are dead and that their baby is yours tends to leave a lasting impression. And you have not changed much in the last decade. Im jealous of those Witch's genes."
McGonagall thinks to herself. 'If young Danny is half as sharp as his Guardians. Then the boy will go far in life.'
McGonagall then hands Danny a letter. And he reads the inscription on the back. "Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus. Never tickle a sleeping dragon." McGonagall says."It's good that you seem to have an understanding of Latin. That will help you during your education. As most spells require Latin to work."
Danny looks at the crest at the back and sees a seal. On it are A Snake, A Lion, An Eagle, and A Badger. He opens the letter and reads.
"HOGWARTS SCHOOL of WITCHCRAFT and WIZARDRY.
Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore(Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorc., Chf. Warlock, Supreme Mugwump, International Confed. of Wizards)
"Dear Mr Potter,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.

Deputy Headmistress."
Danny then reads the second Letter.
"HOGWARTS SCHOOL of WITCHCRAFT and WIZARDRY
UNIFORM
First-year students will require:
1. Three sets of plain work robes (black).
2. One plain pointed hat (black) for day wear.
3. One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar).
4. One winter cloak (black, with silver fastenings).
Please note that all pupil's clothes should carry name tags.

Students may also bring, if they desire, an owl OR a cat, OR a toad.
PARENTS ARE REMINDED THAT FIRST YEARS
ARE NOT ALLOWED THEIR OWN BROOMSTICK.

Danny asks. Where im I supposed to get all of this? and McGonagall says."Diagon Alley. We will use a Port Key to get there." Danny asks.. when do we leave and McGonagall says. "As soon as you and your family are ready. We are Joining other Muggle-born and Muggle-raised students."
Jack says."I always wanted to see the legendary alley. I Heard so much about it from Maddy." The Fentons decide that they are ready to go. Mcgonagall says."All of you grab the port key but do not let go. It will not be an easy ride."
McGonagall puts the Port Key in front of them. And The Fentons and McGonagall Teleport away.
