Evelyn's p.o.v.
We're sitting at Hagrid's kitchen table, me holding a pack of frozen beans on my cheek and Loki holding a pack of frozen carrots on his, now yellowish shade eye.
"You didn't have to hit him.", Hagrid comments and I look at him, "He didn't have to throw a ball at my face."
"We had good intentions.", Thor speaks and I shift my gaze from Hagrid to him, "I doubt that Loki ever has good intentions. The idea is one of the most stupid things I have ever heard. Throwing stuff at me won't make me more effective."
"It was a desperate move.", Thor comments under his breath.
"Stupid.", I correct him.
"I hope you are aware that you are not making any progress.", Loki tells me with a harsh tone.
I frown, "I don't need your lectures."
"Well somebody has to say it. The clock is ticking and we're still in the same place we where a month ago and Ivar isn't going to get any weaker.", he speaks, his eyes glued to my face.
"What do you want me to do?! I've been training as much as I can.", I complain, raising my voice.
"Obviously, not enough.", Loki comments but his voice is still calm and harsh.
"If you're so smart why don't you come up with a solution.", I say, adjusting the beans.
"Actually, I did.", he says.
"The ball thing is not what she meant.", Thor speaks, looking at him.
"Not that.", Loki says.
"Then?", Hagrid asks, leaning on his kitchen counter.
Loki looks at me and tilts his head a little. I don't like that.
"From now on, you're training with me.", he informs me.
I raise my eyebrow, "What? No."
"It wasn't a question.", Loki tells me.
I frown, "You thing you can order me around?!"
"Is training with Thor working?", he asks.
I open my mouth but don't say anything. It's not.
"Right. You are a Dark Elf, meaning you use magic and combat skills. Your combat skills are quite good may I say", he removes the frozen pack from his hurt eye, "but the lack of magic is concerning."
Thro frowns, "I use magic."
"Thunder is not really magical.", Loki comments and Thor lowers his head, "I think it is."
"Do you even know what a Dark Elf is?", Loki asks, looking at me.
I make a face, "Evil Elf? From Savartafe?"
"Svartalfheim. No wonder you can't master the sword, when you don't even know the name of the place the sword comes from.", he comments, leaning back in his chair.
"What's your plan?", Severus asks and I give him a dirty look.
He's not actually agreeing with Loki?
"Stop the mind-reading you two are doing, it's useless for now. Ivar won't attack twice with the same trick.", he tells Severus then looks at me, "First you will educate yourself. Knowing the history of your kind will help you understand the sword. Then, you will learn some basic magic."
I sigh, realizing that I don't have a choice.
"But before all of that, you will call Tony and put to rest whatever nonsense is going on between you two. Your mind needs to be clear. Today.", he finishes.
I'm about to object but Loki cuts me off, "I will not take no for an answer. If you want to do this you will do what I say and when I say it."
I'm going to cut his arm with that damn sword, I will.
"Did I make myself clear?", he asks and I sigh, "Yes."
"We start tomorrow and have a week.", he informs me and I look at him, "A week?"
"The Yule ball is a week from now and there's a big chance Ivar will try something then. We have to be prepared. You work for Fury, meaning you have to have some mental capacity to pull this off."
"Fine.", I say, placing the beans down.
Loki does the same and with a small movement of his hand, the bruising disappears.
He looks at Thor, "See? That's magic."
Hagrid looks at him, "Why did I waste my carrots then?"
Loki smirks, "I like to feel vulnerable from time to time."
"Well, can you fix mine then?", I ask, looking at Loki.
"No.", he speaks, prepared to walk away but stops, "Tomorrow morning at 7 be here.", he speaks and disappears around the corner.

"I know you're unpleased with this new arrangement.", Severus speaks as we walk towards the castle.
"Really? Is it that obvious?", I ask cynically.
"At this point you don't have many options.", he states and I sigh, "I know. I just don't trust Loki."
Severus looks at me, "It's only a week."
I roll my eyes, "Still too much of Loki for my taste. And I don't appreciate him pushing me to call Tony. I wanted to see him and talk."
"No offense but you had plenty of time. I understand that you weren't ready, but still ...that matter has been hanging in the air for quite a while now."
"That's because I know Tony and I know I'm not going to get what I want.", I say and Severus looks at me, "And what do you want? An apology?"
We make eye contact, "Umm, yes? A sincere apology would be nice."
He stops walking and raises his eyebrow, "Seriously? An apology would make you feel better?"
I open my mouth but nothing comes out. Would it bee enough?
"Whatever he tells you won't change events that took place years ago. And ...in a way, he was right.", he says the last part carefully.
I blink a few times, unsatisfied with his comment, "What do you mean?"
"Try to look things trough his eyes. It was your parents job to tell you the truth, not his ...and when they where killed, he got placed in a very ungrateful position. You were a little girl, devastated by the death of your mother and father. You two only had each other and maybe he felt that by telling you the truth he would loose you."
I'm not sure how to feel about that.
"I'm not making excuses for him or telling you that his actions where right, I just think that by placing yourself in his shoes would be easier for you to find peace. You don't have to forgive him, it's not about forgiving him, it's about accepting reality as it is and accepting yourself. Magical items do feel our emotions and if they sense rejection, they won't connect with us."
"So, Loki is right?", I ask and he nods.
Damn.
"You probably won't get what you want or deserve from Tony, but that doesn't mean you have to be the same way. Not for his sake, for yours.", he speaks and I nod.
I mean, he's right.
"Do you want me to leave?", he asks and I nod again.
"I will be in my room so if you feel the need to talk after your phone call, do come."
I give him a small smile, "Thank you."
He nods in agreement and walks away.

It's been almost an hour of me unsuccessfully contemplating what exactly was I going to say.
I sigh, "This isn't going anywhere."
I search Tony's name in my watch and after a deep breath, I click the green button.
It starts to ring.
I'm nervously clenching my fists, waiting for his voice to break trough and after what felt like ages...
"Hello?"
"Hey ...Tony."
"Well, guess who decided to call."
I feel my blood pressure rise and take a deep breath. You're not going to get what you want.
"It's nice to hear you too.", I say as calmly as possible.
"Who made you call me. Because let's be real, it wasn't your decision."
My first thought is to lie but then i decide that for my sake and the sake of everything that's been happening, I'll be honest.
"Loki, actually."
"What?", he asks after a pause.
"I didn't want to call you, I wanted to see you but we don't have the time so Loki made it clear that I needed to call you ...now."
"Loki almost ended Earth, I hope you do remember that."
"And Loki is the one we asked for help, I hope you remember that."
"No, YOU asked Loki for help, not me."
I frown and scoff, "Tony, Loki is not the subject of my phone call."
"Then what is?"
"Listen, if you aren't able to have a decent conversation I'm going to end the call. Don't forget that I have a reason to be mad at you."
"To be mad, yes but to completely ignore my calls for weeks, that is what I don't understand."
"I needed time.", I say and he laughs, "Time? How much time did you need?"
"It's not for you to decide. You hurt me so you don't get to tell me how I react or what I do to feel better."
He starts to speak and I cut him off.
"No! Do you even realize what my life looks like right now? Not only did I found out that I was adopted, I found out that I am not even human and that my real father is my mortal enemy who killed my real mother. Somehow I am the key to this mission which is more than a mission to me now, and I have a fucking sword that I'm suppose to control but I have no idea how. I know I came from Savartafe or whatever the fuck that place is called but I don't know anything about it and i feel like I should, I feel it calling to me and I don't know what the hell to do and then you have the nerve to call me out for not answering your calls like you're the one who's life has turned upside down!"
It takes me a few seconds to catch my breath and calm my body. Tony on the other side is silent.
"Don't you have anything to say to me?", I ask.
"I'm sorry."
"Thank you.", I say.
"I wish I could change what happened but I can't."
"Why didn't you tell me sooner?", I ask.
"I just ...I just didn't know how. I didn't think that it mattered and I didn't know who your real parents where. In my eyes you where a Stark and you still are."
"But I'm not Tony."
"See? That's exactly what I didn't want to happen."
"What do you want me do to? Close my eyes and play pretend? Maybe if the situation was different, but it's not. I need to accept myself for who I truly am and I would be grateful if you do that too."
"I ...I don't know what to say.", he speaks.
"If you need time, I understand."
"So what? I'm supposed to be okay that my sister is no longer my sister?", he asks and that stings my heart.
"I didn't say that. I will always be your sister.", I say.
"You are more related to Thor and Loki than you are with me, Evelyn. Am I suppose to call you Evelyn?"
In that moment I realize something. I don't know my non Earth name.
"Yes, my name still is Evelyn. Listen, I would really like to see you. I can't leave Hogwarts but can you come to Hogsmeade? In like a day or two?"
"Sure.", he speaks after a few seconds.
I smile, "Okay. So Sunday at eight p.m.? We have dinner at six."
"Okay, I'll be there."
"Okay, see you then. Bye."
"Bye."
I exhale in relief. This didn't start well but it ended on a good note. That's good.
I turn around and start walking towards Hagrid again. It took me a few minutes before I got there.
I knock on the door a few times before Hagrid opens and smiles, "Oh hey Evie, you forgot something?"
"Is Loki here?", I ask and he nods.
I stop in and see Loki eating at the table.
"What's my name?", I ask as he lifts his head, mid chewing.
He raises his eyebrow, "What?"
"What's my name?", I ask again and he looks at Hagrid before answering "Evelyn?" in confusion.
"No, my real name."
It took him a few seconds before a small smirk appeared on his face.
"Alflyse."
