Danny sends out Hedwig and heads to the airport with his parents. They get on a plane, and the journey home is uneventful. But the day before, Danny sends out Hedwig.
Jack asks why he would send out Hedwig. Danny says."I promised to send a release paper to the Ministry of Magic for the groundskeeper. Hagrid did not commit the crime they accused him of. And because im in London. Hedwig can deliver the message more swiftly than a Hogwarts owl." Jack says."That Owl is Incredible. I never met a more intelligent animal."
The first week passes without incident, and Danny, Sam, and Tucker spend most of the first week catching up.
Day eight of summer vacation.
Danny and his friends are relaxing in the Fenton lab. The Ghostportal Suddenly becomes active, and through it comes a ghost. The ghost Intrudces himself."Humans, I am Skulker. The best hunter of the Ghostzone." Danny asks."What do you want?" Skulker says."I will Hunt, Kill, And Skin a purple Gorilla. It will look lovely around my fireplace."
Sam, being the activist that she is, Tells Skulker to get lost. Skulker grabs Sam and Danny, seeing no other choice, Transforms and kicks Skulker away, saving Sam in the process.
Danny fights Skulker, who, unlike the Box Ghost. Skulker Is more than a match for Danny. And it does not take long for Skulker to subdue Danny and says."A purple Gorilla and A Halfa, this is a good week."
Tucker is looking at his PDA, hoping to find something to help his friend out. Skulker notices the PDA And absorbs it. Just as he Is about to finish off Danny, The PDA becomes active. And Skulker flies off for some odd reason.
Danny recovers, and Sam and Tucker help him up gently. Danny apologizes for keeping his Ghost Powers a secret. And Tucker says."Well, at least we know both of your secrets now."
Danny asks in surprise."What do you mean, Tuck?" Sam laughs and says."Come on, Danny. Every time you get Mad or Scared. Odd stuff seems to Happen. Like that time you turned Lancer's beard Blue."
Tucker says."But being A Wizard and A superhero is overdoing it." Danny says."Well, we did it for a specific reason." Sam asks."Your Parents Murder?" Danny Nods. Danny asks."What happened with that ghost? He suddenly flew off." Tucker says."I made him sync up with my PDA, so he is subject to a very full agenda."
Danny says."We need to find a way to contain him." Jack, who saw the event in the lab take place. Asks Danny."Are you alright, son?" Danny nods. And Jack gives him a thermos. Jack explains."This thermos can help you capture renegade ghosts. All you need to do is use your ecto energy to draw them in."
Danny and Skulker encounter each other several times. Although Danny loses each time, He is getting more adept at fighting with his ghost powers.
At the zoo a week later, Danny and Skulker are fighting, And Danny seemingly gives up. And Skulker grabs his Knife.
Danny Smiles and uses the thermos on Skulker, who gets sucked into the thermos. Sam and Tucker run up to him and Ask if he is alright. With Danny saying that he is. And that he is glad it's over.
In the following days, Danny confirms he has extra courses for His third Year at Hogwarts. He has Chosen Ancient Runes, Care of Magical Creatures, and Arithmancy.
He writes to Hermoine, Who compliments him for not taking the easy electives like Ron and Neville.
The next day.
Danny watches a news report on A pale man with A raincoast who steals technology. Danny thinks it's a ghost and decides to look around.
He finds the ghost who introduces himself at Technus. Technus uses the tech he stole to attack Danny. Who, thanks to his experiences with Skulker, Is more than a match for Technus in his base form.
Technus is getting desperate. Technus fuses himself with all of the tech he has stolen. Technus turns into a giant robot version of himself.
Danny tries his hardest but loses to Technus, who beats him badly enough that Danny changes back into his human form.
While Technus goes on a rampage in Amity Park, Tucker and Sam find Danny, and Tucker tosses him a disk. And Tucker tells him this will overload the tech. But Danny has to get close enough to upload it.
Danny Transforms again and flies off. He finds Technus and Flies around him, And Technus, thanks to absorbing a lot of tech. Technus Has become much slower, and Danny can fly around. Danny uses hit-and-run tactics to keep Technus occupied.
Danny finally sees an opening and uploads the disk that Tucker gave him. Technus frees in place, and Danny uses the Fenton Thermos to capture Technus.
Britain. The Granger's residence.
"Today, in other news, in a place called Amity Park. In the United States. A giant Robot was on the Rampage. It was neutralized by a silver-haired Teenager who called Himself GhostBoy. The following footage contains violence and might not be suited for children."
In the scenes that follow. Unbeknownst to Hermoine. Danny is fighting The giant robot. And with great difficulty, wins.
"Who is this mysterious SuperHero? And what does he want? We will keep you informed about the seven o'clock BBC news. This is Alfred Periwinkle."
Dan Granger says."What a load of Rubbish this is probably some Ridiculous movie promo." Hermoine says."I dont know, Daddy. I mean if Ghosts and Wizards are real. Why not superheroes as well?" Dan Granger signs and says."What is Happening to the world?"
Meanwhile, the letters among the friends start featuring the GhostBoy heavily. With especially Ron and Neville are especially interested.
Meanwhile, back at Amity Park.
Danny is following the Box Ghost, who has become a regular annoyance. Danny chases him into the ghost zone. And Danny sees a mysterious clock tower.
Danny decides to look around, and A voice says."You are right on time, Halfa." Danny asks."Who are you?" The Ghost reveals himself and Changes between an old form, a Prime form, and a child form. The Ghost says."Im Clockwork master of time."
Danny says."It's nice to meet you, Mr. Clockwork. But what do you mean with Im right on time?" Clockwork says."There is a prophecy about you that you will leave the world forever changed. But before I reveal more. I must give you a test. Are you ready?" Danny nods, and Clockwork teleports Danny to another place.
Amity Park?
When Danny regains his bearings, he finds himself in the ruins of what is seemingly Amity Park. Suddenly, he sees a strange person in red who has a cannon aimed at him. The person says."You have gone too far this time. Your crimes end here." Danny tries to reason with the person. when a voice suddenly says."No, that was me And you eventually."
Danny looks up and sees An older version of himself with Flaming Hair.
A blast moves towards his Darker self, and Danny sees a massive army gathered.
To Danny's Horror and Amazement, The Ghost crushes the entire Army using nothing but A sort of Ghostly Wail.
Danny tries to fight the Ghost. Who defeats him in a single blow? He taunts Danny saying that His Human side makes him weak. And that renouncing His humanity was the best Desision he ever made.
Danny is suddenly pushed forward in time and Finds himself under attack by Several Ghosts and Human survivors Danny tries to fight them off but is overwhelmed by the sheer number of attackers. Danny tells them to stay away. And Danny Unleashes His own version of the Ghostly Wail.
Danny is pushed forward in time once more And finds himself face-to-face with his evil Counterpart.
Danny and his Darkside fight and the dark side once again easily triumphs over Danny. He grabs Danny and Danny tells him."I will never turn into you." Danny releases his own Ghostly Wail and The other Ghost lets go out of shock. He says."This is not possible You are not supposed to gain that power for another ten years." Danny then says."IM NOT YOU." He then uses his thermos and Captures His Dark counterpart.
Danny is teleported back into the clock tower.
Clockwork says."It seems you have made your choice, Young Ghost." Danny asks."What was that?" Clockwork says."One of Many possible timelines. One where you lost everyone you cared for and went down a dark path."
Danny asks. "What is this about a prophecy?" Clockwork says."Something far Darker than your Wizard Dark lord will emerge. And you might be all that stands in the way. Of complete and utter destruction. But for now, you must live your life. Keep training hard in both your Magic and Your Ghost powers."
Danny flies off, swearing to himself that he will never use his Ghostpowers again.
Later two ghosts appear. Who tells clockwork."You have influenced the boy's choices." Clockwork says."Yes, I did." The ghost says."The boy is now your responsibility." Clockwork says."I know, but then again. I know everything. Dont let the door hit you on the way out."
Danny true to his word stops training his ghost powers and refuses to talk about what happened he instead focuses on his schoolwork and His studies with Maddy he also spends a lot of time with Sam and Tucker.
Danny's thirteen birthday.
Danny and his family are having a good time when the Phone rings. Danny picks up the phone and to his surprise, Hermoine calls him to wish him a Happy Birthday.
They talk for a bit about the new school year. And Hermoine invites him over for a few days before school starts. Jack says he will clear it with Her parents.
Danny spent the rest of his birthday. Having fun with his friends and Family.
The next three weeks Are uneventful with Danny focusing on school and His tutor sessions. Jazz tries to get Danny to open up. Who is not interested in any way in Jazz's help.
Danny says goodbye to his family and tells them he will call often And Maddy tells him that she hopes he knows he can talk to them about anything. Danny thanks her and tells her. That he just needs some time.
Danny then travels with His uncle to London. Where the Grangers meet him at the airport.
Hermoine is overjoyed to Have her best friend over and they have a lot of fun but Hermoine notices that Danny seems down she gently asks him. And Danny tells her."This summer I was confronted. by the darkest. Ugliest part in me and it shook me to my core." Hermoine gives him a hug and tells him that."It will be alright, Danny. You will always have me." Danny returns the hug and says nothing.
The next day they are watching the news.
"And now in other news. The criminal Known as Sirius Black is still at large this man is responsible for the death of at least thirteen people. Do not approach under any circumstances. And Contact the police if you hear or see anything."
Danny clenches his fist and Hermoine asks why and danny tells her."He is the reason why my parents are Dead." Hermoine says."They will catch him again soon. Dont worry Danny."
In the next few days. Danny and Hermoine go out and buy their school supplies. Hermoine who was given some extra money Decides to buy a Cat who she names Crookshanks. The cat loves his new Mistress and takes a shine to Danny and Hedwig as well.
On the day of returning to Hogwarts, they meet the Weasleys at the leaky cauldron. Ron happily shows his news clippings. And Percy brags proudly about being made Headboy. Danny and Hermoine congratulate him and Danny asks Ginny how her summer was.
Ginny says."It was great I feel a lot better." Danny replies. Good im glad you feel better." They hug and keep talking for a while.
Then they all head towards Kings Cross and they board the train. They are all talking and Ron and Neville pester Danny for information about Ghost Boy. Danny for his part tells them that he has no idea and that he does not care either.
Suddenly the train stops and the window glass turns to Ice. Ron says Terrified."Someone has boarded the train." Danny says he is going to the bathroom and leaves. While he is washing his face he hears Hermoine And Ginny scream for Help, And Danny Presses his watch and Transforms.
Danny phases to the walls and Finds a Horrifying creature tormenting Ginny and Hermoine Danny Grabs the creature and Pulls it out of the train. He then Blast the creature away using an ecto ray.
Danny heads back into the washroom and transforms back into his human form. Danny has finally made peace with Himself and His Ghost Powers.
