James asks, shocked."So you knocked out A Cerberus in a single blow?" Danny says."That dog was about to eat my friends. I had no choice in the matter." Sirius pales and asks."Just how strong are you?" Vlad says."One way to find out.

They all head towards the Warehouse where Danny and Vlad train during the summer, and Vlad says."The first year, Daniel could lift a ton." Lily says."You are telling me. That he could lift a thousand kilos at age eleven?" Vlad says."Yes, and in his second year. That number went up to five. Last year was seven and a half. So why dont we try ten this time?"

Danny lifts the weight with ease, and Vlad says."It seems that he can lift at least ten thousand Kilos." Vlad says."All I have left to measure with is this old school bus." Danny struggles at first but manages to lift the school bus. Vlad says."I meant fifteen tons." Sirius asks."What does that mean?"

Lupin says."He can bench press you with his pinky. And yeah, it's clear that Harry is much stronger than Hagrid." Lily says."He might be the strongest person on the planet." Danny immediately shoots Lily down."I have met beings whose power far transcend mine." Sirius says."You are stronger than Dumbledore, right?" Danny says."If we were to lift weights, then yes."

James adds."But he was to fight you with his magic." Danny finishes."He may very well defeat me." Sirius says."But you have beaten me with ease." Danny says."You had a knife, not a wand." Sirius says."what about Quirell?"

Danny says."A weak wizard, desperate and egged on by a lunatic. Hardly a master wizard. And I used my mother's sacrificial magic to defeat him." Lupin asks."And the heir of Slytherin?" Danny says."Less than the shadow of a teenager. The thing is, I have no idea. How I will fair against an actual properly trained wizard."

James says."Well, I might not be at Dumbledore's level. But we can spar and see how well you do." Lupin says."Death eaters rarely hunt alone, so it might be a good idea to train him against two or even three vs one."

Vlad says."I can only help you develop your powers and advice you on how to fight against ghosts, Daniel. But I never fought a wizard before."

Sirius asks."So you are a hybrid, too?" Vlad says."Yes, and Im much stronger than Daniel." Sirius says."Yeah, I call b.s on that one." Danny says."His physical power alone is at least four times greater than mine." Sirius then makes the charming mistake. By saying."Prove it." Vlad signs and flicks Sirius across the warehouse.

James helps Sirius up and says."Tomorrow, you visit a mind healer, Padfoot. And you're not sparring today." Sirius says."I can handle it." Vlad has had enough and knocks Sirius out. Vlad says."Im sorry, but im not letting you fight my godson. When you are lacking self-control, You won't be able to hurt him with a knife. But for now, magic is a wild card."

Lupin says."that will be a situation in itself." Danny replies."Uncle V will be my godfather in the non-magical world. And Sirius will be mine in the magical world. And besides, nobody said you can't have two godparents."

Remus replies."That is a good compromise. And Sirius would be useless in the non-magical world." James asks."Are you ready, Son?"

Danny transforms and nods. Lupin and James step forward. Danny thinks to himself."My father might be rusty from his suspended animation, But he was a prodigy as a student. Remus was a defense teacher, and it is clear that, unlike Lockhart or Quirell, a professional, Not to mention a veteran of the wizarding civil war.

They have fought many battles together. And they will work together in perfect harmony. My best bet is to knock out my father first and then focus on Uncle Remus."

Jack, Maddy, and Jazz walk in and ask."Who won?" Lily says."You arrived just in time. They are about to start."

Vlad says."Begin." Lupin tries to paralyze Danny while James fires a stunner. Danny lets both spells pass through him. Lupin, who can seemingly communicate with James without saying anything, moves to one end, and James tries to trap Danny by moving toward the other end.

Danny's eyes follow both of them. And Lily asks Maddy what Danny is doing. Maddy says."He is assessing the situation and waiting for the right time to counter. I did train him as a fighter, after all." Vlad says."While not as advanced as Maddy or Jasmine. Daniel can still be considered a master in his own right."

Suddenly, both James and Lupin fire a barrage of spells towards Danny. And they fire so many spells that the middle of the warehouse is impossible to see. Sirius wakes up and asks what is happening. Vlad tells him to watch.

Danny has used an ecto shield to block the spells. Lily says."I can't believe it. He is completely unharmed." Vlad says."it's clear that Daniel's ghost powers offer him some form of spell resistance. But it's just as clear. That Remus and James are holding back as well."

James thinks to himself."You have become strong son. But both Remus and I have managed to hit you a few times. And once, is all the death eaters need to fire a Unforgivable." James says."That's enough."

Danny transforms back. And James says."You lose focus when it matters, Son. Remus and I have both hit you at least three times. And while it's clear you have gained some resistance against spells, a watered-down stunner is not by a long shot a Killing curse. You have a lot to learn, son."

James then smiles and says."But that is something we can work on this summer." Remus adds."You dont have to choose to fight either with magic or Ghost powers. You are both Harry, the Wizard, and the Ghost. And Your full potential is to merge the two into one." James says."Once you can do that, you will make Albus Dumbledore look like a muggle."

Vlad says."I will focus on bringing out your full potential as a Ghost." James says."We will train you as an Auror. I can't pretend. You are not a target. And I won't leave things to chance again. And I won't lose my family. Not this time."

Danny says."I thought you joined up with Dumbledore. After high school, and that you never held a job. Remus says."Dumbledore had us train under an auror called Moody. While we never joined the auror force. We trained as them."

Sirius says."I can hear him now constant vigilance, Boys." James says."well, we never would have survived all those battles without his training. And not long after that, things went sideways." They keep talking for a while

The next day.

Lily asks Jazz."What are Maddy and Harry doing?" Jazz replies."Danny wants to be an astronaut, So she is tutoring him in stem subjects." James says."It's good that he has dreams. But forgive my lack of understanding of what is an astronaut?"

Jazz says."An Astronaut is a researcher and explorer of uncharted worlds." Lily says."like that story, I told you about those people who went to the moon." James says."I thought you made that up to mess with me. Muggles went to the moon? That's unbelievable. I thought nothing could reach the moon." Lily chuckles and says."Like having a son who is both a wizard and a superhero."

James smiles and says."You have a point there, honey." Lily then asks Jazz."Who is Hermoine?" Jazz says."A muggle-born girl who." Sirius interrupts and says."Like father like son, Prongs."

Later, Sirius begins his treatment And slowly recovers. And for the next two weeks, Danny improves tremendously, Both as a Ghost. And as a wizard.

And one day, two weeks later.

"This is channel five news in today's weather report. We have rain, hail, snow, and sunshine in the next three hours." Danny says."That's not normal." Jazz asks."Do you think it's a ghost?" Vlad says."I heard legends of such a ghost. His name is Vortex, one of the ghost king's lieutenants."

Danny asks."How will we know if it's a ghost?" Jack says."Take a look outside."

A massive ghost surrounded himself by funnels of wind, hail, and snow. Danny asks."How are we supposed to fight something like that?" Jack says."I have an idea. But I need the two of you to keep it busy." Danny and Vlad transform and head outside.

Danny quips to Vortex."Step away from the city." Vortex replies by attacking him with A flurry of hail. Danny dodges it, and Vlad thinks."All that combat-based training is paying off." Danny thinks to himself."Okay, This is nuts. How can we fight him if we can't even get close."

All Danny and Vlad can do is dodge and get a few lucky hits in. Vortex is meanwhile doing massive damage to Amity Park. Danny and Vlad have been fighting for an hour or two. And Danny is getting tired. And Vlad tells him to take a rest. And that he can keep the ghost distracted.

Danny returns home. And Jazz tells him."Dad is going to need a few more hours." James walks up to Danny and says."All that training is paying off. Remember, Dont lose focus. Not even for an instant." Lily meanwhile feels for Vlad having to fight alone for hours.

Jazz corrects her by saying."Danny recovers very fast. By my calculations, he should be back to full power in ten minutes."

Danny asks."Jazz, can you help out Mom and Dad? The sooner we end this, the better." Jazz says."Will do, little brother." After ten minutes, Danny transforms and rushes back out. He tells Vlad."It's your turn to rest."

Vlad is every bit as tired as Danny used to be. Tells him."Keep moving, Little Badger." Vlad recovers, and Sirius asks."I thought you could fight for hours?" Vlad replies."Vortex is an ancient ghost who has honed and perfected his power over centuries. If not millennia. In all honesty. Im surprised we are doing as well as we are."

Lily says."I guess it's dependent on the strength of their enemy." Vlad, after ten minutes. Rejoins the fight, and Danny says."Crud, This can't go on for much longer." Vlad replies."Im sure Jack and Maddy are doing everything they can." Danny and Vlad are keeping Vortex contained. After an hour, Jack calls and says."The machine is complete. Lure him to the old theater."

Vlad and Danny lure Vortex to the old theater. And with the last of their energy. Create a ray strong enough to push Vortex into the machine. The machine strips Vortex's weather-based powers away from him. When Clockwork and a group of ghosts appear, Clockwork says."You have done well. Now, let us take it from here." They put Vortex into a containment cell.

And Danny asks."Is this part of what you told me?" Clockwork says."Yes and no. While Vortex is part of what is to come, this was an accident."

Flashback.

Im the box ghost, and when I empty this box, I will be unstoppable. A voice says."Hey, you are not allowed in here." The box Ghost replies."Im the Box Ghost. Beware." The Box Ghost backs away and, with his butt, opens Vortex's cell.

End flashback.

Danny asks."What kind of high-level prison opens up cells with a single button? And let the most moronic ghost roam free." Clockwork says with a smirk."I also would love an answer to that question." The ghosts, known as observers, say."We dont have to explain ourselves to you." Clockwork says."They are saying sorry."

Clockwork and the other ghosts leave with Vortex. And The Fentons and Vlad go home.

The next day. Very early in the morning.

Jack asks."Are you ready, son?" Danny replies."Im ready. When you are Dad." Jack says."Three days of nothing but fish." Danny says."Good, I can use a break."

And our chapter ends with Jack and Danny going on their annual fishing trip.
