At the Fentons, James asks."So, are you ready to visit the rest of the old gang?" Remus and Sirius nod. Lily asks."When will you be back, dear?" James kisses her and says."In three days, when Jack and Danny come home."
Meanwhile, Danny and Jack are talking. Jack asks."So Danny, how are you doing?"
Danny replies."Honestly, Dad, I dont know. My life has changed so much in the last six months. My godfather, who I hated for twelve years for betraying my parents, was innocent all along. The man I respected for trying to avenge my parent's death was the traitor. And my dead parent are alive and well."
Jack says."To be honest. Son, im just as conflicted as you. It's great to Have Lily and James back. But to say this complicates things is an understatement. And then there is Sirius. His recovery is going to take a long time, and he seems to lack control now." Danny says."I saw how people react after a single encounter with those things. All things considered. He is handling it pretty well."
Jack says."Just be careful, Son." Danny says."Why dont we for the next three days? Worry about nothing except fish? And deal with that other stuff when we get back." And true to Danny's words, Jack and Danny worry about nothing except for fish. For the entire fishing trip.
Meanwhile, at the Fentons, Lily is crying. She is watching all of Danny's baby photos and movies. "I have missed so much of my son's life. Do you think he resents us?" Maddy says."No sis, if anything, he blames himself." Lily asks."Why would he blame himself?" Jazz walks in and says."That's just who Danny is."
Britain. The Greengrass residence.
Cyrus Greengrass and Adrien Davis are talking when Cyrus's wife Crystal walks in and says."Honey, you have visitors. And you know what? It's best if you see this for yourself. Because wow, I was not expecting that." Adrien says."It must be something spectacular if Crystal is shocked." Cyrus says."Grab your wand, and let us go see what is happening."
On the way, they meet Daphne and Tracy. Cyrus asks."Daphne, are you alright?" Daphne says."I was not ready for that." Cyrus asks."Okay, im getting worried now. What is going on here?" Tracy says."Just go see for yourselves because wow."
Cyrus and Adrien walk into the living room. And to their amazement. See Remus, Sirius, and James waiting for them. Sirius greets them."Constrictor, Talon, how are you two?" Cyrus recovers enough to ask."How are you alive, Prongs?"
An hour later.
Cryus asks, laughing."So you lived next door to your Sister-in-law for almost a year and waited a week before your son came home to introduce yourself?" James says."Well, in my defense, I was busy watching over my son." Crystal asks."So, can we finally meet your children? We have only been waiting for twelve years." James asks."How about the Quidditch World Cup in four weeks?"
Tracy and Daphne. Who were walking by and not eavesdropping, walk in and ask." Did someone say the Quidditch World Cup?" Sirius asks."Okay, what happened?" Adrien laughs and says."You said the magic words."
James asks."Who else should I invite?" Daphne replies."At the least, Neville Longbottom, Ron and Ginny Weasley, Hermoine Granger, Luna Lovegood." Tracy cuts in."And dont forget us, of course." James asks."So Frank's son is alive?" Adrien replies."Yes and well, but unfortunately, the same can not be said for Alice and Frank." James says."Yes, My boy told me what they did to them."
Cyrus says."It gets worse." Sirius snorts and asks."How can it be worse?" Cryus tosses them Daily Prophet.
"Azkaban Breakout.
In the most shocking news, Bellatrix and her husband Rodolphus, Lestrange. Along with Barty Crouch Junior and Peter Pettigrew. They Have escaped Azkaban Prison by stabbing the guards, and they have snuck out via the garbage shoot. These three minus Pettigrew are responsible for the torture of Alice and Frank Longbottom. And they were considered You-Know-Who's Most fanatical followers.
They were last sighted heading towards Albania.
All four are Highly armed and Dangerous. If you have any information, contact the Aurors immediately."
James says."Dammit, poor Alice and Frank." Sirius adds."Looks like I get to kill the rat after all." Lupin says."With everything Harry has told us, I dont think this is a coincidence."
Cyrus asks."If it comes to that, will the three of you align yourselves with Dumbledore again?" James says."In this case, I can only speak for myself when I say I won't."
Sirius adds."He left me to rot in Azkaban without asking me why. So im a no, too." Lupin adds."I think we have as much chance without him as with him." Adrien says."So if it comes to that." James says."It will be the Marauders against the death eaters."
James continues explaining."But I make one thing clear. Should our objectives be the same. As the Order of the Phoenix, I will not be against cooperation. Voldemort is the enemy, not Dumbledore. Assuming Dumbledore gives every information he has."
Cyrus says."That's fair, and there is only so much the five of us can do on our own." Sirius says."As for that, I have someone in mind who can join us." Adrien asks."Who Padfoot?" Sirius says."My niece Nymphadora. She is a trained Auror. And A Fully trained Metamorphmagus." Lupin says."Someone like that could be of great help. We could use all the great fighters we can get." James says."Good idea, Padfoot. Can you set up a meeting with her?"
Sirius says."All I need is an Owl and some Parchment." Cyrus gives him what he needs, And Sirius begins writing right away.
The five friends spend the next three days catching up. And im not saying. There are a lot of drinking games involved, but.
Three days later.
James asks Jack."So when is Vlad coming back?" Jack replies."this weekend, so two more days." James says."So we resume Danny's training then." Lupin asks."so we call him Danny?" James says."I think that he has been Danny longer than Harry." Sirius asks."What if we need to move back to Britain?" James says."In that case, Danny will stay with Maddy and Jack."
Lupin says."Yeah, that makes sense. He has his whole life here." Sirius asks."When did you decide this?" James says."Lily and I talked it over when we moved next door. And while I would love to take him with us. I have no right to waltz into his life after a decade and Uproot him from his life."
Later
Danny continues his story. And Sirius, Lupin, and James are laughing. Sirius asks while crying."So he had no hair left?" Danny replies."Yeah, what did you expect? I was humiliated." Lily asks."Why did you transfigure his clothes?"
Danny says."You should have seen the tacky Valentine's decorations he put up. He had statues of Himself Dressed up like Cupid all over school. I was inspired." Lily asks."I wonder why Dumbledore would hire someone like that?" Danny says."About that, I have a question. I talked it over with the head boy. And as it turns out, for a long time. No Defense teacher has lasted longer than a year."
Lily says."It was the same for us. We had seven teachers in seven years." Danny says."I think after a while. Anyone with Common sense started to avoid the job." Lupin says."Thank you for that." Danny replies."Come on, you were desperate. That does not count. Anyway, our theory was that the position was cursed."
James says."We came to that conclusion as well." Sirius asks."I wonder. If that is the case, why Dumbledore did not fix that?" Danny says."Because if that is the case, it was Voldemort who did it."
In the next two weeks. Until Danny's birthday. The training resumes, and Danny improves so much that Sirius, Lupin, and James can no longer hit him. Even while Vlad is still stronger, He still loses at times. Danny has gained proper control of his ghost abilities. Most of them, anyway.
Danny has been shivering a lot during the last two weeks.
The day before his birthday.
"Welcome to Channel Five News. Today, massive plants and vines have sprung all over Amity Park. We will keep you informed as the story develops."
The situation gets out of hand quickly. Soon, everyone in Amity Park, including Lily, James, Lupin, and Sirius. Are under the attacker's control.
Only Danny and Vlad are unaffected. And that makes the suspect a ghost.
Danny and Vlad head towards the epicenter of the attacks and find a ghost made of vines. The ghost introduces himself."Im Undergrowth. Former lieutenant of the Ghost King and soon ruler of the world." Vlad and Danny attack, But Undergrowth shrugs off their attacks.
Undergrowth begins to fight dirty By using Vlad's and Danny's loved ones against them. And even worse. Undergrowth powers and reach seem to grow as his vines encompass more territory.
Danny and Vlad have no idea how to proceed. And they are soon surrounded. Danny suddenly and on accident freezes a couple of vines. And they break free and run for it.
Vlad says."We need to regroup, Daniel." Danny says."The ghost zone." And Danny and Vlad head into the ghost zone.
Inside of the Ghostzone, Danny asks."So what do we do?" Vlad says."It's vulnerable to Ice. So we need someone who can train you. In the use of that new ability of yours." Danny asks."Any Ideas?" Vlad says."No, but I know someone who might."
They arrive at Skulker's place. And Vlad calls out to Skulker, who appears and asks."What do you want, Plasmius?" Vlad replies."Im looking for a ghost with control over Ice. Any ideas?" Skulker asks."Why should I help you two?" Vlad says."Because if you dont, you can kiss any upgrades you get from me goodbye."
Skulker says."Very well, on the far side of the ghost zone, there lives a group of snow yeti ghosts. With control over Ice. But they dont care for outsiders and will likely turn you away or kill you."
He looks at Danny and says."I know which one Im hoping for." Danny and Vlad fly off, but not before Danny adds a few chores To Skulker's to-do list.
Danny and Vlad, after flying for hours. Finally arrive at the Snow Yeti place.
Suddenly, one of the snow Yeti's. Attack them, Danny and Vlad dodge his attacks. Vlad says."It seems Skulker was not exaggerating." Danny suddenly sees The Yeti having an Ice shard stuck in his back.
Danny destroys the shard, And the Yeti turns back to Normal. Who looks at Danny and says in surprise."The one foretold in legend has saved me."
The Yeti introduces himself."Im Frostbite Leader of the Snow Yeti. It's an honor to meet you. Oh, Great one."
Danny and Vlad shrug, and Danny asks."What do you mean, Sir?" Frostbite says."follow me." He takes them to his village, and the other Snow Yeti are amazed to see Danny.
Frostbite explains."After the Ghostking Was stopped, An ancient and powerful ghost named the Seer made a prophecy. That is when the ghost king would reclaim what is his and more. An impossible warrior would rise against him."
Danny asks."Impossible how exactly?" Frostbite explained."A contradicting warrior Who is Half Wizard and Half Muggle Ghost." Danny says."I wondered why the Ghosts in Hogwarts seemed so powerless compared to the None Wizard Ghosts." Frostbite says."Life and death are funny that way. In life, the Wizards were powerful only to be weak in death. And the reverse is the case for the Muggles."
Danny then asks."How im I different?" Vlad says."Because of your mother. Even in just life, you were the product of two worlds."
Frostbite adds."Indeed, it's that contradiction in terms. That allows you to be both." Danny then says."By that logic, every Muggleborn would be able to transform." Vlad says."not quite Daniel. You and I have something very few people have. Adaptive Dna. I mean, you did not think. We would let you in the ghost portal. If we were not sure, you would survive."
Danny says."My metamorph ability." Vlad says."Correct Daniel, while yours is active. Mine was passive." Danny asks."So you are a Squib?" Vlad says."No, but my father was."
Danny then turns towards Frostbite and asks."There is a ghost who is immune to all types of attacks except for Ice. Can you train me to master my Ice Abilities?" Frostbite smiles and says."It would be my Honor, Oh great one."
