Izumi sat in a corner surrounded by a dozen books, they were all very useful medically but she was only pretending to read as she formulated an escape plan. She had come up with several plans but they all had drawbacks. She narrowed down who she would need to worry about and it came down to 4 people, Shigaraki, Kurogiri, the Doctor, and All for One. The door opened as Kurogiri entered and sat down a tray of food.
"Thanks" said Izumi.
Kurogiri didn't respond as he shut the door. Izumi looked at the tray which contained rice, fried eggs, miso soup and tea. Based off the meal she knew it was morning which meant Ochaco would be knocking on her door to walk with her to school, her mom would then notice she hadn't came home last night if she hadn't already. Izumi got up to grab the tray and leaned over it in case they were watching. She drank the tea then the food to smoke and dissipated it until she could no longer feel it. She then headed back to the corner and picked up the book on spines, in case she escaped she wanted to heal Tensei. It was then the idea hit that she could turn everyone to smoke. but those thoughts were immediately followed by "what if they fight back" "Would Kurogiri be affected" "Would they be able to control the nomus still".
"Food is one thing, but we are talking about people, wouldn't you need to be in smoke form as well?" asked Slimy.
Izumi groaned. She hadn't thought of that.
"I'm already dead, so really this is up to you" said Slimy.
"If I'm going to do this, I need to be fast" said Izumi.
Slimy didn't respond nor did she need him to. She picked up a book and read for a while before getting up and exercising for bit as she was bored. Sometime later Kurogiri returned with a tray of food and a case.
"How far have you gotten in your reading?" asked Kurogiri.
"I finished 3 of my books but I needed a break so I worked out for a bit" said Izumi.
"All for One has asked me to bring you some quirk studies from the first era, as well as some thought experiments" said Kurogiri.
Izumi watched as the mist villain set down a tray of food, a note book, some cards and a few folders. Once he left she looked at the cards which were the names of quirks and a description. She looked at the folders and saw one labeled E.M.F.P, She laughed at the full name. Electromagnetic flatulence pulse.
"Man that guy would never know a moments peace, one little silent fart but everyone knows it was you because the power is out" laughed Slimy,
"This dude was a super villain who ate a lot of baked beans" laughed Izumi.
Izumi smoked the food then read the file on E.M.F.P. She was greatly amused by the fact that the man with the quirk was a mostly successful bank robber. She finished the file then began reading another book. Nearing the end of the book the door opened to revel Shigaraki, he sat down in front of her and just stared at her. Izumi was confused.
"Do you know who William Shay is?" asked Shigaraki.
She did know who he was because Robert used the same phrase on her twice.
"No" said Izumi.
"He was an American hero by the name Smokewall, he was a successor of Project Rhea, his quirk was typhokinesis with the ability to feed off quirk energy" explained Shigaraki.
"Thats cool" said Izumi.
"Now his file says he never passed his quirk on, but I don't believe that" stated Shigaraki.
"Why?" asked Izumi.
Shigaraki smiled.
"You of course, your quirk is quirk energy absorption and you turn into smoke, you have to be the next step in the process" said Shigaraki.
"Sorry to burst you bubble but my father is Hisashi Midoriya" said Izumi.
"I don't believe you, since you are member of Project Rhea, you belong to me" stated Shigaraki.
He stood up and left them room leaving Izumi alone again.
"Oh definitely needs to go, he'll never leave you alone" said Slimy.
"This is gonna suck" said Izumi.
"Yup" said Slimy.
A few hours later Kurogiri came for Izumi. She entered the portal and once again stood before All for One. Shigaraki and several people with bags on their heads were off to the side.
"I would have preferred All Might, but he not so easy to grab" said All for One.
"Yeah grabbing a man who can leap tall buildings in a single bound does sound kind of hard" said Izumi.
Izumi heard the deformed man chuckle.
"Shigaraki believes you are the current iteration of Project Rhea subject 2" said All for One.
"He mentioned that, seems a little farfetched to me" said Izumi.
"I have reason to believe that was false, for a short time there was someone here I seemingly ignored, they also had a vested interest in making sure I never got any messages from my spy about you" said All for One.
Izumi didn't know how to respond to that but figured he meant Robert.
"Bring the first sacrifice, don't worry about them they enjoyed using their quirks to harm people , they won't be missed" said All for One.
Izumi stood next to All for One as Kurogiri bought the one of the sacrifices over. Izumi pushed her nervousness and fear down as she grabbed the sacrifice and All for One then turned to smoke, the sacrifice didn't resist but All for One did as he always expected to be betrayed but was eventually turned to smoke as well. It was hard to move as even without access to his quirks he was very strong. Shigaraki growled then reached out to touch the smoke when Kurogiri pulled him back.
"I doubt your quirk will work on gas but even if it does, you could kill master" stated Kurogiri.
Izumi seeing them distracted tossed the sacrifice at them, knocking them to the ground. She then began looking for an air vent.
"There's no way out, you can't hold me forever" demanded All for One.
"I know but healing you is not an option" said Izumi.
"Do you even have a plan" demanded All for One.
Izumi didn't until she heard the hum of an industrial fan, she followed it back to the control panel. With she some effort she turned only her hand to flesh then hit the reverse button. Her smoke form was pulled in.
