A little update and notes, then I'll be out of your way
Full list of harem: Gwen, Melissa, Kyoka, Ochako, Mina, Momo, Tooru, Tsu and Himiko
Now, I'm adding a potential option to add to the harem, but I'm not telling you who it is just yet, I realized while I was planning the story ahead that you guys would want me to add her so I'm just preparing mentally for it
It's not a character from the MHA universe, is a Marvel character, if you want to guess who it will be, and once I introduce her we can start debating with each other
Now, I'm going to give you a fun side activity, as of this chapter Izuku's only dating Gwen, my plan is to have the harem as a group that dates each person in the group so it doesn't feel weird
And add the girls one at a time, that's where you come in, you get to decide who joins after whom, keep in mind that Jirou is joining first no matter what, but who joins next is up to you, and Himiko will probably have to be the last, since they met her farther in the cannon, but the rest of the girls are up to you
I will look at the comments and make the best decision that fits accordingly to the story, so let me know what order would you like to see and I'll think about it

Chapter 8: New Heights
"Are you sure about this principal?" All-might asked in confusion as Nedzu nodded
"Yeah, but don't worry, I'll be a silent observer, but I do have one more final announcement and then the class is done," Nedzu said as everyone perked up
"I have a present for you All-might, but recently I have found that someone else here might appreciate it," Nedzu said as All-Might raised an eyebrow at him
"What do you mean?" All-might asked and Nedzu smiled at him
"I know you're a big fanatic of the American Culture, with all the time you spent in America and all," Nedzu said as he looked behind All-Might "So me and Cementos work on the break, and put some iconic buildings of America, specifically the forgotten island of New York, like the one over there," Nedzu said as All-Might turned around
"I present you the" Nedzu started saying but was interrupted by a familiar greenhead
"The Empire State Building! Holy shit!" Izuku said putting his face mask down revealing the huge smile on his face as he looked around "Did you put the Chrisler building? Rockefeller plaza? St. Patrick Cathedral? Trade Center?" Izuku asked excited and Nedzu looked at him with a small smile
"Didn't know that Midori had such excitement for American buildings," Mina said out loud and Jirou nodded
"Green's quirks keep getting more and more interesting, and weirder," Jirou said and looked at her right where she saw Ochako looking up at the skyscraper in seriousness "You okay Ochako?" Jirou asked in curiosity
"I'm wondering," Ochako said and Jirou raised an eyebrow at her
"Wondering?" She asked back as Ochako looked at her with death-blank eyes
"Wondering just how much that building costs, too much money, too much," Ochako said as if she had seen a ghost scaring Jirou and Mina who started gushing over the shocked Ochako
Back with the teachers and Izuku as the green head bent down in a jumping position "Don't worry I'll check it myself," Izuku said with excitement as he jumped upwards
"May I remind you that we are in class?" Nedzu said as Izuku stopped in mid-air and came crashing into the floor hard, the class looked at him and saw him kneeling in front of Nedzu
"No please don't do this to me, just five minutes I'll be quick, please, I'll do anything you want," Izuku said with tears in his eyes as Nedzu brought out a phone and took a photo of Izuku
"As much I would like to take that offer, we are on a tight schedule, so you'll have to wait," Nedzu said as Izuku got into a fetal position and a dark cloud appeared above him
"Never trust the rat, never trust the rat," Izuku started mumbling to himself as the dark clouds kept growing bigger and bigger and the class sweat dropped at the scene in front of them
"Let's get back on track, All-Might take it away," Nedzu said and All-Might looked down at Izuku with confusion
"Right," All-Might said "So let's begin, yes young Iida," All-Might said as he saw Ida raising his hand
"Sensei, we're on the ground of the exams, are we fighting on the streets again?" Iida asked in curiosity
"No, we're taking two steps further," All-Might said excitedly "Most of the time, fighting villains takes place on the outside, but if you look at the numbers, atrocious villains appear indoors at a higher rate," All-Might explained as Izuku got out of his depressed state and took a seat on the floor
"Mhm, he ain't wrong, he's the number one hero for a reason after all," Izuku thought, he may not like the man but he respected him nonetheless
"Imprisonment, house arrest, backroom deals, in this hero society," All-Might said couching a little "Truly intelligent villains hide in the shadows," All-might said
"For this training exercise you'll be divided into teams of two and you'll fight in a two-on-two indoor battle," All-Might said
"Without basic training?" Tsuyu asked in curiosity
"This is a real battle to understand the basics, however, this time there won't be any robots for you to fight," All-might said as Izuku's eyes widened
"Huh, not a bad idea, it gives us a chance to get accustomed to the uncertainty of working with other heroes, not bad, I underestimated him," Izuku said as several students started asking a different range of questions
Then Izuku saw All-Might get nervous and brought a piece of paper "A script? You're joking right?" Izuku thought with a mental chuckle
"Listen closely, the situation is this, the villains have hidden a nuclear weapon somewhere in their hideout," All-might said reading the script "The heroes need to catch the villains or get the nuclear weapons back in the allotted time, the villains need to protect the nuclear weapon for the whole time or catch the heroes," All-Might said and before he continue Izuku gathered his attention
"Sensei, how much time does the heroes have before the exercise ends?" Izuku asked as the students looked at All-might
"Right, heroes will have up to 15 minutes to infiltrate the building and either subdue the villains or dismantle the bomb, Villian team will have 10 minutes to prepare whereas the hero team will have five minutes to prepare," All-might said and then Jirou voice her thoughts
"Why so little time for the heroes?" Jirou asked and All-Might looked at her
"In this type of situation heroes need to enter the problem with as little info as they can gather and be able to think on the fly," All-Might said as Jirou nodded in understanding
Then All-Might took out a small medium orange box "Now we will choose the teams randomly, pair with the person with your same letter," All-Might said as Iida voiced his confusion
"You're choosing the teams so haphazardly?" Iida asked and now Izuku responded for All-might
"Sometimes hero agencies work together for the first time and there's no time for them to get to know each other, maybe that's what they're trying to do," Izuku said from his spot as Iida looked surprised
"Oh, what incredible oversee, I'm sorry for my rudeness," Iida said bowing a little and All-Might just shook his head
"Let's just get started," All-might said as everyone started picking up the balls containing the letters

Izuku was staring hard at his letter wondering what god he had pissed to get this terrible luck, and then he felt someone staring hard at him and looked up and saw Nedzu smiling mischievously at him and gulped in fear
"Nah there's no way, he couldn't have messed with sorting could he?" Izuku thought getting more and more afraid of the rodent in front of him
Ochako saw this and got concerned for her green head classmate and she voiced her thoughts
"Um sensei, what about Midoriya? He's the only one without a team," Ochako said as All-Might frowned in deep thought
"I'll answer that All-Might," Nedzu said gaining the attention "Since Aizawa transferred Mineta out of Class 1-A, we didn't have time to foresee that it was an uneven class, so we either do a team of three which would be unfair for the team that's fighting against them, we chose another student to join Midoriya on his team and do the exercise twice, or let Midoriya take on the exercise by himself," Nedzu said as he looked at Midoriya
"And I think the choice relies on our green head over there," Nedzu said as Izuku's eyebrow twitched
"I'll do it on my own, it'll be fun," Izuku said looking Nedzu straight in the eyes
"There you have it, now for the battle order, if you could All-Might," Nezu said and All-might nodded
"Now for the order of the battle, we'll use the wheel of fortune!" All-Might said as a wheel with the letters appeared behind him and Nedzu
"And our first Battle is!" All-might said creating excitement and everyone leaned forward in expectation "The hero team, team A! vs the villain team, team D!" All-Might said excited
"Both teams follow me and the rest please follow Nedzu to the viewing room," Nedzu said as everyone nodded, Izuku looked back at the girls' team and approached them quickly
"Hey girls," Izuku said and Mina and Ochako looked at him with smiles on their faces
"Midori, are you here to wish us luck?" Mina said throwing her arm around Ochako "Because me and 'Chako got this, but a wish of good luck from a cutie like you doesn't hurt," Mina said making Izuku snort Then he looked at Ochako and realized her hands were shaking
"You're nervous?" Izuku asked in curiosity and Ochako smiled at him nervously
"A little, I never did like going first in exercises, and Bakugo scares me a little," Ochako said cheekily and Izuku smiled at them and put his hands on their shoulders
"Remember what I told you on the entrance exam?" Izuku said looking at Ochako "Trust in your abilities, instincts, and quirks, and everything will follow suit," Izuku said as both girls nodded
"I won't give you any advice against Bakugo because that wouldn't be fair so I'll say this," Izuku said and looked at them seriously "Kick their buts," Izuku said and put his fist forward for them to bump it
"Of course, we will," Mina said bumping his fist
"Thank you Izuku, cheer for us okay?" Ochako said bumping his fist and Izuku smile
"Of course," Izuku said, and then Mina gained a mischievous smile
"Hey Midori, if we win, will you give us a kiss?" Mina said mischievously making Ochako blush hard but not denying it and Izuku snorted
"We'll see, go on or you'll be late," Izuku said as Mina laughed and dragged a blushing Ochako along
Izuku smiled at them but then he crossed eyes with Bakugo who was glaring hard at him, Izuku returned the glare sizing him up, and walked away to where the rest of the class were
A few minutes had passed and the class alongside All-Might and Nedzu were gathered inside the viewing room Izuku had found a spot on the floor to sit on and leaned on the wall while having a perfect view of the screen in front of him
Izuku had taken his notebook out, the one where he had notes on his classmates just in case, since he was looking at the quirks up close, he figured why not take notes
"Is this seat occupied?" Jirou said pointing at the space next to Izuku as the green head looked up
"What? Oh sure, come on take a seat," Izuku said as Jirou took a seat next to him
"What are you doing?" Jirou asked in curiosity and Izuku looked down at his notebook in deep thought
"Taking notes, a small hobby of mine," Izuku said as Jirou leaned forward and looked at his face
"Seems like it, notes of what?" She asked curiosity in her voice and Izuku sighed debating mentally whether to tell her or not but he figured she wouldn't find it weird
"Quirks, of every person I've seen, met, or talked to, mostly what it does and how I can improve upon it," Izuku said as Jirou's eyes widen
"Really? Can I see?" Jirou asked and Izuku looked at her in confusion
"Um, are you sure? Many people see this as a breach of privacy so I keep it to myself mostly," Izuku said and Jirou smiled at him
"Yeah I want to, seems interesting," Jirou said and Izuku smiled at her and chuckled as he skipped some pages on his notebook
"You're pretty cool Kyo, you know that right?" Izuku said with a smirk on his smile and Jirou blushed a little
"I know, now shut up and let me see," Jirou said and Izuku chuckled and gave her the notebook
"Here, that one is your entry," Izuku said as Jirou looked down at the notes "I need to update it with your custom but that is just my preliminary notes," Izuku said and Jirou scanned the notebook
"Nice picture of me, you're a good drawer, although is too practical don't you think?" Jirou said and Izuku smiled
"Well, there's not much I can put in two pages," Izuku said and Jirou chuckled
"Okay let's see the notes, Jirou Kyoka, quirk, Earphone Jack, she's capable of listening to any sound if she plugs her earphones, she can also send the electrifying sound of her heartbeat into something she's connected to," Jirou said as She moved a paragraph down
"I wonder if she amplifies something if she connects to it, like sending a pulse of sound waves like a speaker, and also, is there a wave to shorten the length of her earphone jacks," Jirou said as she leaned back and looked at the notebook in seriousness
"If she learns kickboxing or another martial art form, that way she can puncture someone with them and make them go numb, what do you mean by that?" Jirou asked as she stopped reading and looked at Izuku
"May I have your arm?" Izuku asked as Jirou nodded and gave him her left arm Izuku moved her jacket up "This may hurt a little but it will pass very quickly," Izuku said and Jirou looked confused
"What are you going to do?" Jirou asked confused and concerned
"The body, the muscles to be precise have nerve points that send signals to the brain, lift your lower arm," Izuku said as Jirou did that "See how your elbow bends? Your brain sends signals to these nerve points and the muscles move your bones up, simple human anatomy, you can move your lower arm now," Izuku said and Jirou did that
"You ready?" Izuku asked as Jiour nodded her head
"Yeah I trust you," Jirou said and Izuku smiled at her
"Thank you, take a deep breath," Izuku said and he started putting pressure on her lower arm as she held the moan of pain back "Try closing your fist," Izuku said as Jirou looked down and tried but she noticed she was having a hard time doing it, she managed after a while but the small pain she had made it super hard for her
"Good, sorry about that," Izuku said and started rubbing her lower arm "Are you okay?" Izuku asked as Jirou bit her lower lip a little
"Yeah, I'm fine, what was that?" Jirou asked in curiosity as Izuku turned her arm upside down
"Your nerve point, I block it, just a little enough to prevent the connection to these muscles over here," Izuku said running his thumb along her knuckles "That was my idea for you," Izuku said letting go of her hand
"My idea is to give you a pair of gloves that you connect your earphone jacks in that have like little acupuncture needles for you to send shock waves to people's nerves," Izuku said as Jirou ran her fingers where Izuku's hands had been "That way you can take down someone very easily and quickly," Izuku said as Jirou's eyes widen
"How haven't I thought about that?" Jirou asked herself as she wondered what she had missed about her quirk
"Well, you'd be surprised that potential heroes only start developing their quirks to the best until they're in university," Izuku said and then put his hand on her shoulder "Don't worry about it, you'll be so fucking cool in no time," Izuku said and Jirou looked at him and offered him a smile
"I'll hold you to that green," Jirou said and Izuku chuckled as he let out, she closed the notebook and looked at the title of it "Hero Analysis for the Future No. 14?" She read out loud and Izuku sighed
"The only hobby a late bloomer kid with dreams of being a hero could have, I've been doing them since I was four, Twelve some years now, hoping that when my quirk appeared, I would be ready for it," Izuku said looking down
"Pretty depressing isn't it," Izuku said and now it was Jirou's turn to put her hand on his shoulder
"You more than anyone knows that while it was hard, it made you who you are today, be proud of what you've become Izuku, always," Jirou said punching his upper arm a little "No more wallowing in self-pity okay?" Jirou said and Izuku snorted
"Right, no more self-pity," Izuku said as Jirou handed him the notebook back
"All righty kids, let's get started, make sure to get a good view," All-might said as Izuku and Jirou looked ahead as the combat was about to start
"Who do you think is winning?" Jirou asked in curiosity and Izuku looked at the screens in deep thought
"Bakugo," Izuku said without any trace of doubt, and since the class had stopped their chatter everyone heard him fine
"I found it interesting that you didn't say the villain team, only young Bakugo, can you expand on it?" Nedzu said as the class looked at him Izuku narrowed his eyes where the image of Bakugo was
"Losing isn't a term on Bakugo's vocabulary, the only way you can hope of defeating that idiot is by knocking him out cold or making sure he's dead," Izuku explained "He would crawl towards victory if it means becoming the number one hero," Izuku said and then sighed
"And if you haven't experienced how explosive his quirk can be upfront," Izuku said as he tightened his fist "The shock will be too much for someone, and he will capitalize off of that," Izuku said as Momo grew curios
"What are you saying, if you don't mind me asking?" Momo asked as Izuku looked at both teams
"Ochako's and Mina's quirks make them very dangerous in closed spaces, ideally you would guard the room where the bomb is and take out any items Ochako might be able to use with her quirk, an idea that Iida seems to think of," Izuku said as he saw Iida removing any rubble from the room
"Then you'll wait for the clock to run out while they find the room, and if they find the room, they'll have a short time to win and may become desperate, and a desperate opponent is an easy one to fight against," Izuku said and then sighed
"But that's not going to happen," Izuku said and Kirishima, the most expressive one out of them all, voiced his confusion first
"Why makes you think that?" Kirishima asked and Izuku looked at Bakugo again as he saw him exiting the room
"Because Bakugo isn't a patient individual," Izuku said

"So, do you have anything cooked up?" Mina asked cheekily as Ochako rubbed her hands together getting rid of her nervousness
"Not really, I think they'll be accepting us, so it may be a full-blown assault," Ochako said as she sighed "What do you think about dived and conquer?" Ochako said and Mina shrugged
"Taking one for each?" Mina asked and Ochako shook her head
"Not, if we are being honest, their quirks are better suited for combat than ours, so I think if we tried to fight them head it would do us no good, so I think our best bet is to create an opening to get to the bomb," Ochako said and Mina nodded
"I agree, so who takes who?" Mina asked and Ochako brought a hand to her chin
"I don't think Bakugo is going to let me get close, and at least you gave range attacks, so I'll take Iida and hope for an opening," Ochako said and Mina nodded
"Understood," Mina said and then smiled "Is a good plan, you're pretty smart Ochako," Mina said bumping Ochako's shoulder with her own making the brown-haired girl blush a little
"Thanks," Ochako said
"Students, get ready, set, and START!" All-Might's voice rang out on the speakers of both Hero and Villain's team's coms
"Come on 'Chako, let's earn ourselves a kiss from the green head," Mina said cheekily and Ochako blushed again and just nodded and moved forward
"Frontal approach, wonder if that would work out," Nedzu wondered out loud as Izuku looked at the whole camera feeds
"Without knowing where the bomb is? Is better than nothing," All-Might said "Overthinking too much here is just not good for them," All-Might explained
"I feel so tense and I'm not even there," Tooru said as her hands were shaking and Tsuyu who was next to her nodded
"Feels like something is about to happen," She said and Izuku's voice made itself present
"You're not that off Tsu, they're about to meet up with Bakugo," Izuku said
"Wait," Mina said as her eyes picked up something and her eyes widened "Look out!" She shouted as she pushed Ochako and her back avoiding the explosion coming in front of them
"Dammit I wanted to kill the nerd, now I have to deal with extras," Bakugo mumbled to himself as he glared down at the girls "Come on then you extras, I'm pissed off and I'll take it out of you," Bakugo said as Mina and Ochako managed to stand up
"A surprise attack? That's so unmanly Bakugo," Kirishima said looking at the screen
"You okay?" Mina whispered to Ochako as the gravity girl managed to stand up
"Yeah, I'm fine, think you can get me an opening?" Ochako whispered back and Mina nodded
"Of course," Mina said as she started running towards Bakugo "Who are you calling extra you dirty villain," Mina said sending several splashes of acid toward Bakugo making him take a step back
She jumped over him managed to land behind him and quickly dodged down as Bakugo turned around and sent a mini explosion toward her
But she had managed to accomplish her objective, Ochako had managed to quickly run toward the hallway from where Bakugo had emerge
"Yeah, let's go Ochako!" Tooru said cheering her on as Momo brought her hand close to her chin
"But it won't be so easy, Iida won't be so easily defeated," She voiced her thoughts out loud
"You're right, he's able to move the bomb away in the blink of an eye, if I were her, I'd figure a way to get close to him instead of the bomb," Izuku said
"Why though?" Kaminari asked voicing his confusion
"Because then, there will not be anything standing in her way, and the more time she leaves Mina against Bakugo, the worse it will be for them," Izuku explained
"Tch, fine I'll deal with you first raccoon eyes," Bakugo said creating sparks on the palm of his hands
"Raccoon eyes? Sheesh, you have no experience talking to girls do ya?" Mina said as Bakugo just grumbled and started running towards Mina, he sent an explosion towards her head forcing her to bend down
Mina did just that but didn't see the heel of Bakugo's right foot coming toward her face, she managed to put her hands up and block the majority of Bakugo's force but the kick still sent her toward the wall behind her
She gasped as the force took her breath out but she quickly had to move out of the way as Bakugo continued his barrage of attacks
"He's not letting her out of his grasp, isn't he?" Sero said looking at the screen as he saw how Bakugo kept sending explosions at Mina
"That's Bakugo for you, your only hope is to wait for his stamina to run out," Izuku said narrowing his eyes at Bakugo who had Mina under the ropes
"Easier said than done isn't it?" Jirou said and Izuku sighed but nodded nonetheless
"Shit, I can't find an opening," Mina thought as the only thing she could do was dodge out of the way
"Mina I've found the room," Mina heard Ochako over the coms and Mina mentally cheer
"Go ahead 'Chako, I'll keep the Pomeranian occupied," Mina whispered but that single moment cost her greatly as she took her attention off Bakugo for just a moment
A moment Bakugo used to close the gap between them, and smiled wickedly as his palms let off several sparks off
"Die!" Bakugo said as Mina could only stare in shock at what was in front of her
Meanwhile, Ochako had entered the room and found Iida standing in the middle of it talking to himself
"Bakugo isn't answering, I hope he's doing well," Iida mumbled to himself but then he put his hands on his waist
"No matter, I shall do my best to get into a villain mindset just like him," Iida said as he started laughing like a madman trying to be scary
Which made Ochako burst into laughter revealing her position "So you're here Uraraka, I knew you'd come here by yourself as soon as Bakugo ran off," Iida said as he put his arms to the side
"That's why I have cleared all the things you can use here, your power is useless here Hero," Iida said laughing hard as Uraraka gulped in fear
"Nice thinking, what a nice foresee of him," Momo praised as All-Might nodded
"Young Iida knew about young Uraraka's quirk that's why he was able to prepare accordingly but listen well, there are going to be times when you won't have time to prepare, so you'll have to be able to improvise on the fly," All-might explained
"A thing Ochako will have to do if she wants to win," Izuku said as he noticed that they only had less than 6 minutes left
"I was wondering, how are we able to hear them?" Ojiro asked in curiosity
"We've decided to put them a small microphone on their chest, just so we will be able to hear their thinking process and their communication system," Nedzu explained
"Shit," She thought as he scanned the room "I can't get close, Mina are you there?" Ochako said but then they heard several big explosions that rocked the floor
"What was that?" Iida said as Ochako feared the worst and decided to act fast so she ran forward toward the bomb
Iida saw this and he quickly activated his quirk moving the bomb away
"Ha, you'd think it would be easy hero? Times about to be done, I won't let you touch the bomb," Iida said as Ochako grumbled
"Think Ochako, what can you do? There has to be a way to distract him or at least get him close," Ochako mumbled and saw Iida guarding the bomb the best he could
On the other part of the building Bakugo was catching his breath as he looked down at an unconscious Mina who had minor burns and smoke coming out of her
Bakugo tched itching for a better battle, he walked back to where Iida and Ochako were with a fast pace
"He's just gonna leave her there?" Kirishima asked a little angry since he just saw Bakugo beating Mina
"Bad move, he should at least secure her," Todoroki said crossing his arms
"Indeed, she could wake up and tip the scales off, remember always make sure your opponent is down for the count," All-Might explained as Izuku got worried for Mina
"Things are about to get worse for Ochako," Tsuyu said as she saw that only four minutes remained and Bakugo was approaching the room
Ochako kept trying to approach the bomb but Iida wouldn't let up, she even tried to rile him up, trying to make him make a mistake but he wouldn't break
Two minutes remained and this game of mouse and cat remained the same, Ochako would get close to the bomb and Iida moved it out of the way, this kept happening till an explosion blasted the door of its handles landing in front of Ochako
"Bakugo, where were you!?" Iida said surprised as Bakugo glared at him
"Racoon eyes is down, I'm dealing with round cheeks myself, get out of the way," Bakugo said in a grumble as Iida's eyes widened
"What? You're kidding right, let's just wait the time out, exercise must be in its final stages," Iida said but Bakugo just glared at him and shook off Iida's arm
"Stay out of my way glasses," Bakugo said but then both students of the villain team widened as they saw the door coming towards them very quickly
Both of them dodged down and widened again when they saw that Ochako had moved "One chance, I got one chance at this," Ochako said to herself as she jumped forward trying to touch the bomb
Iida prepared himself to run at the bomb again but Bakugo had thought the same thing and the explosions that Bakugo had used to propel himself forward made Iida stumble and fall down
Ochako was just two steps away when Bakugo caught up to her, she didn't know what happened, maybe it was her urge to win but she saw Bakugo in slow motion, she saw Bakugo's left arm move downwards and she knew what she had to do
She grabbed it and activated her quirk making Bakugo weightless, she sent him flying away and focused back on the bomb
One step away, and she would win, the bomb firmly in her grasp, and then, it disappeared, Iida had managed to stand up in the time it had taken her to get rid of Bakugo and he moved the bomb away
She cursed mentally and looked at where Iida had put the bomb, she prepared to run forward again but then All-Might's voice rang out
"Times up, Villian Team wins!" All-Might said as Ochako's eyes widen
"No," Ochako said as she fell out of breath, she looked forward and saw Bakugo floating around, so she put her fingertips together and deactivated her quirk letting Bakugo fall down
Iida saw the state Ochako was in and got concerned so he decided to approach her "Ochako, are you okay?" Iida asked as Ochako looked up
"Yeah, I'm just frustrated, I was so close you know," Ochako said and then chuckled "You're too fast Iida, it's not fair," Ochako said as Iida took off his helmet and fixed her glasses
"Thank you Uraraka, I've been training hard on it, and you were great too, you caught me off guard at the last second," Iida said as he put his hand forward "Can you stand?" Iida asked and Ochako nodded taking his hand
"Good work youngsters, you sure gave it your all!" All-Might said with a bandage up Mina next to him
"'Chako, I'm so sorry!" Mina said running toward Ochako with tears in her eyes Ochako caught her in a hug
"Is okay Mina, are you okay?" Ochako said looking down at Mina and her bandages
"Just some minor burns, they gave me an unguent for them," Mina said as he put her head on Ochako's shoulder
"All-might told me you were so close, I'm very sorry Ochako," Mina said and Ochako patted the back of her head
"Don't worry Mina, we'll win next time, I'm just glad you're okay," Ochako said as she saw All-Might signaling them to go back "Come on Mina let's get back," Ochako said as Mina leaned on Ochako's shoulder rubbing her eyes
"I really wanted to impress Midori," Mina said downcast as Ochako rubbed circles on Mina's back
"I'm sure he is, let's ask him," Ochako said as the girls and Iida walked away
All-Might was going to follow them but then saw Bakugo kneeling on the floor lying down
He approached him and heard him gritting his teeth and saw him tightening his fists
"Come on young Bakugo, let's get back," All-Might said putting a hand on Bakugo's shoulder as he brought Bakugo out of his frozen state
"Okay then, you guys did incredible, now for our MVP of the match," All-Might said making a pause for dramatic purpose
"Young Iida Tenya!" All-might said as most of the students and even Iida widened in surprise "So, can anyone tell me why I chose him?" All-might said inviting people to participate "Yes, young Yaoyorozu," All-Might said when he saw Momo raising her hand
"This is because Iida was the one who adapted the most to the context of the training," Momo said "From watching this match it seems that Bakugo wanted to prove something, that sort of attacks are a risk in those close spaces," Momo said
"He did well by taking down Ashido but then got in the way of Iida again because of his objective that made the match closer than it was before," Momo kept explaining as she had the whole class paying attention to her "Uraraka gave away her position easily which put a detriment on things, Iida was the only one prepared and the one who reacted accordingly," Momo said and Iida felt proud of what she said as he smiled to himself
"Whoa, that was hot," Izuku said out loud breaking Momo's seriousness she blushed hard and looked at Izuku using her hair to hide her blush
"Oh, I said that out loud didn't it?" Izuku asked Jirou, the closest to him, since they had stood up from the place they were before, she nodded and Izuku blushed and hid his face behind Jirou's back
"Don't hide behind me you idiot," Jirou said blushing at the contact
"W-well sure Iida could work on some other things, but well, that was correct!" All might said bringing the class back to the moment at hand
"We should always start with the basics to develop depth of learning, we must strive to devote ourselves wholeheartedly," Momo said putting her hands on her waist and fixing her hair "Otherwise we cannot become top heroes," Momo said and Nedzu chuckled
"Well said Yaoyorozu, as expected from a recommended student, still, even though they didn't win, the hero team exceeded expectations," Nedzu said as the girls widened when they heard that
"Yep the rodent is right," Izuku said as several classmates snorted and Iida looked mortified "It was a solid plan, and the moment you used it to gain the advantage Ochako was near perfect, I would have tweaked just one thing," Izuku said from behind Jirou as Mina and Ochako paid attention to him
"Ochako should've stayed with Bakugo and Mina should've gone looking for the bomb," Izuku said as Nedzu hummed
"Can you expand on that thought?" Nedzu asked and Izuku nodded
"Bakugo's smart, he also knows how to recognize a quirk in battle, he would've maintained distance with you Ochako, and that would've given you the upper hand, one wrong move from him and you could've easily subdued him," Izuku said as Ochako widen and at the same time felt proud of herself
"And the same with you Mina, Iida decided to keep the defensive stance but with you, you could've made the floor filled with acid as he chased you, making it harder for him to maneuver," Izuku explained
"Iida's quirk is very impressive, but it does have one major flaw," Izuku said as Iida looked confused at that sentence "Maneuverability, Iida's burst of speed only makes him go faster in a straight line, and he has to stop and change direction before accelerating again, and that tight of a space, and having to step carefully over your acid," Izuku said and Momo was the first one to catch up with his train of thought
"It would've given Mina the best window to get to the bomb, very impressive line of thought Midoriya," Momo said as Izuku blushed and laughed sheepishly
Mina and Ochako got out of their depressed states and they bumped fists with each other
"Very well said Young Midoriya and Young Yaoyorozu," All-might said as he pressed the button again revealing the wheel again "Now for our next battle Hero Team B vs Villian Team I! Please follow me," All-Might said the four students followed him outside
Izuku and Jirou went back to their spot but now Mina and Ochako joined them, both girls walked to where the green head was before anyone could take a seat and Mina had such a big sorry for letting you down prepared but when Izuku spoke first it all went away
"Mina hey, are you okay, the burns don't hurt too much right?" Izuku said worrying over her
"No, I'm fine, I just feel a little bit sad," Mina said as Ochako looked down too "I talked so much before and I failed hard, I couldn't even do anything in the end," Mina said and Izuku shook his head and wanted to protest but Mina didn't let him
"Don't tell me otherwise, he took me out so quickly, I couldn't even go and help Ochako, I-I," Mina said as tears threatened to fall but Izuku put a hand on her head stopping her
"Mina, you're being too hard on yourself, sure this is awful, but you'll have many more moments to show your worth, and you'll show everyone how amazing you are Mina," Izuku said as Jirou seeing how Ochako was pulled her close into a hug
"I really wanted that kiss you know," Mina said with little tears in her eyes making Izuku snort
"Come on girls, join us, we have the best seats in the cinema," Izuku said cheekily as Mina and Ochako snorted at his corny joke and took a seat with them
Mina sat next to Izuku, and Ochako next to Jirou as the violet-haired girl kept rubbing circles behind Ochako's back, trying to make the brown hair girl feel better
"What's is that?" Mina asked rubbing her tears off and noticing Izuku's notebook
"My notes on quirks, want to see yours? Maybe that would take your mind out of things," Izuku said and Mina nodded quietly
Izuku opened it where he had put Mina's entry and gave it to Mina, she leaned her head on Izuku's shoulder and started reading
Izuku didn't protest he only looked to his right as Ochako had put her head on Jirou's lap who was blushing a little as Jirou played with Ochako's hair as her way of comforting her
Izuku chuckled mentally and looked back at the screen and got ready to take note of everything that was about to happen
"I mean, it's so unfair, who has a quirk that powerful!" Tooru said and Izuku could see how she was puffing her cheeks showing her anger
"I know right, not fair at all," Mina said leaning forward and pressing her arm against Izuku a little, since the invisible girl was sitting across the greenhead
Tooru had gone with Ojiro against Todoroki and Shoji but it didn't last long, Shoji had found Ojiro and Tooru very quickly and Shoto just froze the entire building trapping Ojiro and Tooru in the process
"It's not, but don't let it get to you, like I told Mina, they're will be more moments for you to shine," Izuku said as he grabbed one of Tooru's hands
"I wanted to be like a ninja and take them quietly, dammit," Tooru said as she rubbed her thumb along Izuku's fingers
"Feel better?" Izuku asked and Tooru nodded "Good, can I ask you something?" Izuku asked and Tooru nodded again "What's your costume made of?" Izuku asked as everyone there, that being Jirou, Ochako and Mina paid attention
"What do you mean?" Tooru asked confused
"Yeah, did you have a camo suit made out of your DNA? Or did you have a custom-made one? I think I saw a prototype in the showcase of I-island last year," Izuku said and Tooru tilted her head
"Um, nothing?" Tooru said and Izuku blinked a few times
"Nothing?" Izuku asked confused and Tooru nodded
"Yeah, besides my gloves and shoes, I'm not wearing anything," Tooru said, and Izuku malfunction
He blushed hard and smoke came out of his ears as he looked down trying to avoid looking at Tooru
"What are you doing?" Tooru asked confused
"You're Naked, is improper for me to look," Izuku said and as Jirou and Mina chuckled at his expression and Tooru tiled her head in confusion then Ochako looked concerned
"Really? You're wearing nothing? What if you get cold?" Ochako said and Tooru shrugged her shoulders
"I didn't think that far, I just put on the gloves and shoes and they gave me them," Tooru said and Izuku shook his head
"They didn't offer anything else? At least a cloth or something?" Izuku asked
"Nop, but to be fair I didn't ask for much," Tooru said as Izuku managed to get his blush under control and looked forward
"Can I make you a suit?" Izuku said and Tooru grew curios
"A suit?" Tooru asked in curiosity and Izuku nodded
"This thing of not having any clothes, although is very economical, it isn't practical, and not safe, so I want to make you a light armor suited to your quirk," Izuku said and Tooru blushed a little, not that anyone could see
"Um, okay? If you want to," Tooru said a little shocked and embarrassed and Izuku smiled at her
"Good, let's go to the support department after this class, so we can brainstorm ideas," Izuku said and Tooru smiled to herself, it felt good when the greenhead in front of her paid her his full attention
"Okay, sorry about that students, we didn't foresee that Todoroki's quirk would freeze the camera's wires," Nedzu said as Todoroki blushed a little
"I'm sorry," Todoroki said embarrassed and All-Might shook his head
"Don't worry young Todoroki, now for our next battle it'll be," All-Might said creating expectations "Hero team G vs Villian team C!" All-might said as Jirou's eyes widened and she connected with Momo's quickly
"Seems I'm up," Jirou said putting her hand on Izuku's shoulder for support to stand up
Tooru moved around and put her head on Mina's lap as Mina quickly found her hair now being her turn to comfort the invisible girl
"Wish me luck?" Jirou said as the girls nodded and cheered her on and Izuku put his fist forward
"Sure, kick-ass Kyo," Izuku said as Jirou chuckled and bumped fists with Izuku
"I will," Jirou said as she met with Momo and bumped shoulders with her to express her excitement
Izuku made himself comfortable leaning on the wall as he then felt a poke on his right shoulder he looked to his right as he saw Ochako fidgeting "Something wrong 'Chako?" Izuku asked and she looked up
"Can I get a look at your notes on me? I kind of grew curios," Ochako said and Izuku smiled at her
"Of course, here," Izuku said passing her his notebook on her entry "If you have any questions tell me," Izuku said and Ochako nodded as she made herself comfortable her shoulder touching Izuku's a little as she focused on Izuku's notes
"Notes?" Tooru whispered to Mina and the pink-skinned girl looked down
"Midori takes notes on quirks he has seen and wonders how he can improve them, he has notes on us there," Mina explained and Tooru's eyes widen
"Wow, wonder what mine says," Tooru said as both she and Mina looked toward Izuku who was laser-focused on the screens in front of him
"Both girls smiled and then Mina looked down again "I'm sure if you ask he can let you see later," Mina said as Tooru smiled to herself in excitement
"So, we put these barriers on the doors and then we wait it out?" Jirou asked as she put some barriers on the door on the far right
"Yeah, the material should be strong enough to resist Aoyama's blast, and even if they manage to make a dent, the time it will take them to take the door down," Momo said as she put barriers on the far left door and Jirou nodded understanding
"It will shorten their time of exercise time, got it," Jirou said as she finished putting the barriers on the door
"What about Kaminari, if they manage to make a hole he could easily shock us," Jirou said as Momo nodded and crossed her arms
"You have a point, I'll make a blanket," Momo said as she started creating a blanket from her stomach
"A blanket?" Jirou asked as Momo finished creating it and looked at her
"An electric insulator blanket will protect us from Kaminari's blast," Momo said as Jirou approached her and started touching the blanket
"Whoa, you're very dependable Momo," Jirou said and Momo smiled and blushed at Jirou's praise "We should wait near the bomb, I'll connect to the floor and listen if they are getting close," Jirou said as Momo nodded
"Good thinking," Momo said as both girls took a seat in front of the bomb
"Hey Momo, can I ask you something?" Jirou asked as the black-haired girl looked at her
"Sure, go ahead," Momo said and Jirou connected one of her earphone jacks to the floor
"They're just going to sit and wait?" Mina asked in curiosity
"It appears so," Nedzu said and Izuku hummed
"It's not a bad plan, there's no need for confrontation if the heroes never find the bomb," Izuku said
"And if they do, they'll have little time to act on it, clever plan," Iida said fixing his glasses
"The recommendation exam, how was it?" Jirou asked and Momo hummed
"You want to know what the exam was, right?" Momo said and Jirou nodded "Well, first it was an obstacle course, they divided us by pairs and made us run it, they wanted to see how we use our quirks worked under pressure," Momo said as Jirou nodded
"Then we had personal interviews with the school staff, I got Midnight," Momo said "She mostly asked about my studies and capabilities, and what I expected from the hero course," Momo said
"Sounds tough, but you managed just fine, impressive," Jirou said and Momo smiled at her
"And yours? How did the entrance exam go?" Momo asked
"Well, there was the written exam, which I didn't do too well, to be honest," Jirou said sheepishly as Momo tilted her head in curiosity "76 overall, I only passed barely," Jirou said and Momo placed a hand on her shoulder
"Well some people are just more practical than others, I can help with the theory aspect of classes," Momo said and Jirou's eyes widened
"Are you sure?" Jirou asked in surprise and Momo nodded
"Sure, that's what a good classmates are for," Momo said and Jirou blinked
"Um, Momo, you know we're friends right?" Jirou said and Momo raised an eyebrow at her
"Friends?" Momo asked and Jirou nodded
"Yeah, me you, the girls, and the greenhead idiot," Jirou said as she could imagine Izuku's eyebrow twitching just about now
"Friends huh? That's a first," Momo said surprising Jirou
"You never had any friends before?" Jirou asked and Momo shook her head "Why!?" Jirou asked shocked
"Well, most people that met me, either only wanted me for my quirk or my family status," Momo said with a sigh "No one wanted to get to know the real me, so I didn't have any real friends," Momo said as Jirou's eyes widen and she grabbed Momo's hand
"I'm sorry, that must've been pretty lonely," Jirou said and Momo nodded "Well, that changes now, you'll have plenty of good friends now Momo," Jirou said and Momo smiled at her
"Thank you Jirou," Momo said and Jirou shook her head
"Call me Kyoka, we're friends after all," Jirou said and Momo smiled as Jirou let go of her hand
"I will Kyoka," Momo said "Back to our topic, I heard that there was a practical exam also," Momo said and Jirou nodded
"They put us on grounds like this one, and we had 30 minutes to defeat as many robots as we could, who had a point system ranging from 1 to 3, I did okay, hero points sure help me too," Jirou said and Momo tilted her head
"Hero points?" She asked in curiosity
"Points granted by judges depending if you help students or did heroic actions along the way, apparently since I warned people about the 0 pointers they granted me a few," Jirou explained
"0 pointer?" Momo asked in curiosity
"A big huge robot, like skyscraper height, it was so," Jirou said but then stopped as she focused on her earphone jack
"Kyoka? What's wrong?" Momo asked in confusion
"They've reached this floor, they'll approach the doors soon," Jirou said as Momo stood up and focused on both doors "Time?" Jirou asked as Momo looked at the watch she had made
"Two minutes left, not much for them to break through," Momo said with a smile on her face
"Her plan worked, yay Momo!" Mina cheered alongside Tooru
"She did foresee everything, that's very impressive of her, and two minutes left unless the hero finds a way to get through," Izuku said
"Then they already have this in the bag," Kirishima said as he saw that the timer had less than two minutes remaining
"So what's the plan?" Jirou asked as Momo kneeled next to her
"We wait it out, there's no point in engaging them head-on if they manage to break through, we'll focus on protecting the bomb," Momo said as Jirou nodded
They waited for the hero team to make their move as they heard the footsteps approaching, they heard them trying to enter and then chatter
"They're figuring out we're here, we were right, Aoyama is going to shoot his laser as we figured," Jirou said and Momo nodded
"Okay, let's keep our heads down and keep quiet," Momo said and Jirou nodded
A couple of moments passed and the hero team managed to make a hole in the door, enough for a person to enter, Aoyama and Kaminari did that
Aoyama jumped in first and then Kaminari and once they got their footing Kaminari lit up his hand with electric power and let it out inside the room, not realizing that the girls had hidden under the blanket
"That should've taken them out, come on, let's get the bomb," Kaminari said desperately knowing that the time was up
But then two air strikes impacted him and Aoyama straight in the chest sending him flying back and falling on the ground out of the air
They looked up and saw Momo coming out from below the blanket with an air gun in her hands
Kaminari quickly stood up and prepared to strike again but at that moment All-Might's voice rang out
"Times up, Villain team wins!" All-Might said as Kaminari stumble down
"Agh dammit, so close," Kaminari said as Aoyama was holding his stomach in pain as the toll of using his quirk came up
Jirou and Momo straighten up and smile at each other, and Jirou out her fist forward to celebrate their win
Momo looked at the fist in confusion and shook it like you would in a formal greeting, Jirou looked down and chuckled
"We'll work on that later, come on, let's join the others," Jirou said joining arms with Momo and leading her forward where All-might had just arrive
"These notes are amazing Midoriya, I never pictured my quirk like this," Momo said as she joined the group that was sitting near the wall
These being, Izuku, Jirou who had taken her previous spot on Izuku's right, Mina, who was on Izuku's left with Tooru still on her lap, Ochako who was next to Momo's right since Momo had put herself between Ochako and Jirou, and Tsuyu who had joined them after she had win her match and was now sitting in front of the green head comparing quirks with him
"Well, an outside perspective can be very helpful," Izuku said sheepishly "And please, call me Izuku," Izuku said and Momo shook her head
"Nonsense, these are very impressive, don't sell yourself short Izuku," She said as the greenhead smiled nervously "I do have a question, in your notes you say, she could be like Ezra from Fairy Tail, what do you mean by that?" Momo asked in curiosity but the answer didn't come from Izuku, instead came from the energetic pink-haired girl
"Oh my god that's so true, with your quirk you could be like that!" Mina said excitedly as Momo grew curious, a thing Izuku noticed
"Ezra is a character from the anime Fairy Tail," Izuku said and Mina pitched in
"A very badass character," Mina said as Izuku chuckled
"With her magic, she can access various types of combat forms suited to the problem at hand, one of which, her base one, lets her access any type of weapon she can picture," Izuku explained "If you shorten the time it takes you to think of the formulas you need to create the items, well, you get what I mean," Izuku said
"I can become an endless supply of weapons, I see what you mean," Momo said looking down at the notebook in deep thought
"I have more ideas but I think is best to talk about them later, I don't want to overwhelm you in the middle of the class," Izuku said and Momo nodded in understanding but offered no response as she was too focused on the notebook
"Izuku? You had a question for me, ribbit," Tsuyu said as her throat made a frog sound and Izuku looked forward
"Oh right, I was wondering how the adhesive property of your quirk works. I wanted to look at your hands in simple terms," Izuku said as Tsuyu
"Very forward of you Izuku," Tsu said and Izuku blushed and started spluttering nonsense as the girls chuckled at his reaction
"Lucky bastard," Kaminari whispered to himself as he saw Izuku surrounded by all the girls in the class
"Jealous Kaminari?" Kirishima asked cheekily and Kaminari grumbled
"A little maybe," Kaminari said and Kirishima, and Sero who were near him chuckled
"Although, would you want to be in his position, getting ganged up by the six of them?" Sero asked sarcastically and Kaminari sighed
"Fair enough," Kaminari said as Sero and Kirishima kept chuckling at him
"I was joking Izuku," Tsuyu said as Izuku sighed and snorted at her prank "Here, my palms create a small glue-like liquid that helps me stick to any surface I want," Tsu said as Izuku grabbed her hand and looked at it with fascination
"Fascinating," Izuku said as he inspected Tsu's hand
"Hmm, most people find it weird not fascinating," Tsu said and Izuku grumbled
"Most people are idiots, things stopped being weird over a thousand years ago when a baby started glowing in China," Izuku said and then put his palm forward for Tsu to see "Besides, I'm a lot like you, I'm no one to judge," Izuku said as Tsuyu grabbed his hand and looked at his fingertips to see the little fangs-like needles that he used to stick to stuff
"You and you're quirk are unique, never forget that," Izuku said as Tsu blushed a little even if her expression didn't change
"You have a way with sweet words Izuku, be careful or I may fall for you," Tsu said as Izuku blushed again and looked down
"Okay youngsters, we're ready to begin our last match of today's class, Hero team J vs Villian team E, please follow uh," All-Might said but stopped when he noticed something "Um, has anyone seen young Midoriya?" All-Might asked in confusion
The girls looked at where he was earlier but only found a space, the green head sure moved silently and fast
"He got a head start, talk about an impatient child seriously, you can proceed as normal All-Might," Nedzu said and All-might nodded still confused
"R-right, team E please follow me," All-Might said confused as he led Kirishima and Sero
"Wonder what got him running that fast?" Mina said as Tsu took the spot where Izuku was earlier
A few moments later
"Um, All-Might sir, Izuku's not there," Jirou said as everyone was looking at the screens specifically where Izuku was supposed to be and All-Might crossed his arms
"I see, he wasn't there when I and the team E arrived," All-Might said as everyone, with the excuse of certain people, started getting a little worried till one person chuckling drawing the attention of everyone
Everyone turned to look at Nedzu who was chuckling with a little maniacal tone "My, my, seems like we have lost a little spider, but not to worry, our state-of-the-art systems are prepared for a situation like this," Nedzu said preparing to touch a button
"Ya know, I don't know what I fear most, your evil final boss persona or your salesman one," Izuku said over the coms stopping Nedzu from pressing the button
"Ah Midoriya, nice to hear you, you had us all worried," Nedzu said and Izuku chuckled
"All you? Really?" Izuku asked sarcastically and now Nedzu chuckled
"Well most of us, so can you be a dear and tell us where you are?" Nedzu asked and Izuku snorted
"Smartest being on the planet doesn't know where a simple student is, sheesh, U.A is losing its touch," Izuku said sarcastically
Everyone in the viewing even All-Might got goosebumps when they saw the grumble and dark aura surrounding Nedzu
"Tell you what Nedzu, I'll give you a clue, the view from here is spectacular," Izuku said cheekily as Nedzu forwent the sarcastic behavior from earlier and just pressed the button
The camera feed changed and several of the students gasped when they saw where Izuku was
The green-headed spider hero was sitting on one of the edges of the Empire State Building with his feet dangling in the air below "You should've figured I was going to be here, or did you want the shock factor?" Izuku said and fake gasped, he looked to his left where the camera was and put his hand in front of his mouth
"Oh my, I totally ruined your moment, so sad," Izuku said smiling wickedly
Back in the viewing room, Nedzu was looking ahead seriously thinking of ways to get back at the greenhead idiot not caring anymore for the exercise
"Um, Midoriya, why are you on top of the Empire State Building?" All-Might asked in confusion and Izuku chuckled
"Well, for the view of course, it's really beautiful, and I wanted to see if I could see my home from here, but I guess it's too far," Izuku said
"Fair enough, how did you manage to get up there?" All-Might asked and Izuku looked straight at the camera
"Why climbing of course," Izuku said smiling as All-Might didn't know how to respond "So, how much time before my time to prepare starts?" Izuku asked as All-Might looked at the timer
"Less than two minutes," All-Might said as Izuku nodded and looked ahead while putting his face mask up
"You're done?" Izuku asked out loud as Ally appeared in front of him hiding from the camera's view
"Yeah, everything you say to me won't be picked up by the microphone," Ally said as Izuku smiled "So, what's the plan?" Ally asked and Izuku looked at her smiling behind the mask
"You hacked into U.A yet?" Izuku asked and Ally looked at him as if he was talking stupid
"Izu, please, who do you think you're talking to?" Ally said rhetorically and Izuku raised an eyebrow at her "What do you think I was doing while you had your private talk with Nedzu?" Ally said and Izuku chuckled
"You're the best Ally," Izuku said and then turned serious "Listen closely, when the five minutes begin, hack into the camera feed from the viewing room, I want to see every angle, I won't feed from the practical exam, specifically Kirishima's and Sero's testing grounds, feed from the apprehension test as well as their results for each test, blueprints of the building they are right now," Izuku said and Ally typed it on a hologram next to her
"Got it, anything else?" Ally asked and Izuku smirked wickedly
"Can we have some fun with it?" Izuku asked and Ally nodded giving him a wicked smile of her own
Back in the viewing room people had gotten out of their surprised when they saw Izuku on top of the Empire State Building and now were watching him with anticipation
"I wonder why he decided to go there, he's going to waste time climbing the stairs down and he's too far from where the villains are," Momo said crossing her arms together
"I know right, even I know that that move isn't very bright," Mina said as the girls nodded except Jirou
She knew something was up, Nedzu knew where Izuku was before even searching for him, and Izuku isn't the type to do that type of stupid thing, so she knew he had a plan, but didn't know what
"Young Midoriya, your time to start planning starts," All-might said creating a pause of expectation "Now!" All-Might said and as soon as he finished that word the camera feed in front of them turned off
"What the?" Kaminari asked quickly as everyone got surprised again when they saw the screen going black
"Professors? What is going on?" Iida said as All-Might looked down at Nedzu who was just looking at the black screen seriously
"Principal, did the systems fail?" All-might asked and Nedzu shook his head
"Nope, we were hacked," Nedzu said as he sighed and his eyebrow twitched in frustration again
"Hacked!? Who would dare do such a thing!?" Iida said outraged and then music started sounding on the speakers of the viewing room
A song that Jirou recognized immediately and she sighed and pinched her nose not knowing whether she should laugh or sigh about his stupidity "Really? Seven Nation Army? You're really are an idiot green," Jirou said as the screen started turning on with several parts of the camera feeds appearing at the rhythm of the chosen song
"Our dear little Izuku it seems," Nedzu said responding to Iida as the screen turned back on it its full splendor and everyone saw that Izuku had several orange holograms in front of him and that he was interacting with them
And then Nedzu focused on Izuku as his ears literally perked up, most students saw these and focused on Izuku harder
"Fifth floor, third room from the right, no windows, nice thinking, but the walls on the room don't seem that sturdy, plan A it will be, bomb secured behind some sort of tape, Sero's quirk appears to be," Izuku mumbled and the microphone picked it up enough for Nedzu and the others to hear
"10 seconds, it took him 10 seconds to find the bomb," Ojiro said surprised as everyone looked at Izuku in shock
"Wait is that?" Kaminari asked confused as he narrowed his eyes at the feed that Izuku was watching
"Tapings from the practical exam and from Aizawa sensei's test from yesterday, what is he doing with it?" Iida asked in confusion and he got a response from Nedzu that shocked a lot of people there
"Dissecting their quirks, Midioriya is capable of looking at a quirk and has at least three ways of "destroy it" per se in less than a minute," Nedzu explained as everyone, except a few, widened in shock
"But his quirk was Spider like wasn't it? How does someone have a quirk like that?" Todoroki asked and his answer came from someone who had been quiet through all the matches
"It ain't a quirk," Bakugo said gritting his teeth and tightening his fists, and then everyone heard the gasp that came out of Jirou's mouth
"Kyoka was is it?" Momo asked in concern as Jirou looked at the notebook in Momo's hands
"Twelve-plus years, he said that," Jirou mumbled but since everyone was paying attention to her, they all heard her fine "He's been taking notes on quirks since he was four," Jirou said with widened eyes
"Is simple Todoroki," Nedzu said deciding to explain things better "Experience, twelve years of experience," Nedzu said
"One point three seconds for the tape to go out of his elbow, adhesive properties, even if a single string of the tape gets to you, you're trapped instantly, good quirk to have, reminds me of my own, that's not good, frontal assault with him is suicide, but the closed room might helped me, Kirishima's there also, they're actually a good team huh, range and close combat together, their plan is very simple, Sero remains back as Kirishima goes on the offensive waiting for a opening to secure their opponent," Izuku mumbled to himself
"So Sero's my first target, I get rid of him and then I only need to focus on Kirishima, I need the element of surprise, I'll improvise on the way, now Kirishima, though cookie, rewind the feed back five seconds," Izuku mumbled as the feed rewind to that time "Three seconds, for full protection, but this is weird, he only focus it on one part of his body, does he put 100% on that part or he doesn't have the ability to control it fully?" Izuku said and then stopped and looked at the frozen feed with narrowed eyes
"No, he hasn't trained it for long, a year perhaps, his mind is not connecting to his quirk, he's not doing it unconsciously, he's forcing it, yeah that's it, that's what I need, let's see yesterday's tests," Izuku mumbled as he changed feed
"Middle of the pack, that doesn't give me much, what to do? I could obstruct Sero's elbows but that's too risky, that'll be plan b, and Kirishima, I need to keep his mind occupied with, a barrage of attacks and not let him breathe, once he gets desperate I'll have him, going for the bomb is useless, it's like traveling through a maze while being shot at, so it's better to capture the Villains, as a way of speaking," Izuku said as several frozen images floated around him
"Sero first, then Kirishima, element of surprise is key, and what I have gathered from those guys is that they're pretty chill and nice, I can take advantage of that or straightforward path, what to do?" Izuku said as he crossed his arms and put a hand on his chin
"Hey Nedzu, pick one or two," Izuku said out loud still looking at the pictures
"What for?" Nedzu asked as the students back in the room and even All-might had trouble keeping up with Izuku's mumbling, only Nedzu's mind was sharp enough to listen to it, so everyone was expecting what Izuku would do
"What plan should I follow," Izuku said standing up on the ledge of the building "Fun one or risky but serious one," Izuku said and heard Nedzu hum
"Go with the fun one, and it doesn't work," Nedzu offered and Izuku smiled cheekily
"Then I'll go with the risky one, I like that," Izuku said cracking his neck and jumping up and down "I'm so jealous Peter, this is an incredible view," Izuku whispered smiling, and then he turned serious
"Hero team start!" All-Might said starting the exercise and Jirou and the girls watched in curiosity noticing that Izuku was turning around
"Maximum effort," Izuku said as he turned around and let himself fall down upside down with
"Holy crap!" Mina said shocked as several students gasped as they saw Izuku free-falling straight into the ground
"What is that idiot doing?" Jirou asked in concern fearing the worst
"All-Might sir, can you do something about this? At this rate Midoriya will plummet to the ground," Iida said and All-Might twitched debating whether he should stop the exercise and save Izuku or not
"No one will do anything," Nedzu said stopping all the chatter at once "Have a little faith in our dear Midoriya here, and let's see what he does," Nedzu said
"Is it me or he's smiling?" Ochako asked in confusion as everyone could see the outline of his content smile
Izuku then opened his eyes quickly and turned around in midair, he sent a web string long enough to connect with the building in front of him
He let the momentum carry him as he swung forward let go of the string and did a flip while shouting in excitement
He had his fun already, later he would have to come here to travel through every single building properly, but for now, he had a job to do, once the flip was done he turned serious and quickly sent several strings of web forward
He started swinging through the city at a fast pace traveling and turning corners in record time, knowing he had time on the line
"He's swinging through the city? That's," Ojiro said surprised
"Very impressive," Todoroki said looking at the feed in front of him
"Midori looks very cool right now," Tooru said from Mina's lap
"I wonder how the idiot doesn't get sick doing that," Jirou said feeling a little sick just by looking at him
Izuku arrived in front of the building where Sero and Kirishima were hiding, he looked around and saw something of interest, two antennas, on each of the building edges, he smiled underneath his mask as he sent two strings each one connecting to an antenna and pulled back
He looked back at the building and took three steps to his left and one back "I think this is the perfect angle, here goes nothing," Izuku said as he let go of his hold and propelled forward with a huge amount of strength and speed
"So, we wait here for Midoriya to arrive then?" Kirishima asked in curiosity and Sero nodded
"If we look at the other fights, the Villains have the advantage, and I think is better to wait for the time to run out," Sero said and Kirishima nodded
"I understand, still I was itching for a fight," The redhead said and Sero chuckled
"Well if he finds out where we are, you'll get your fight," Sero said and Kirishima smiled in excitement
"Still, it's pretty unfair, us two vs him alone," Kirishima said and Sero shrugged his shoulders
"I guess, but would you rather we face him and someone like Todoroki or Bakugo at the same time?" Sero said sarcastically and Kirishima sighed
"Yeah I see your point," Kirishima said and wanted to say more but then the wall near Sero broke into a hole, as Izuku was breaching "Get ready!" Kirishima said as he and Sero put their guard up
"Sure thing, let's… huh?" Sero started saying their plan but stopped when he and Kirishima saw Izuku lying on the ground "Um, Midoriya are you alright?" Sero asked in curiosity
"No, god this is so embarrassing," Izuku said crying a little "I think I broke my ankle on the landing," Izuku said and Sero, Kirishima, and everyone who was watching sweat dropped at the stupidity
"Really? All that expectation and he broke his ankle?" Kaminari said chuckling a bit
"That was very anticlimactic," Tsu pointed out and several students nodded
"So the exercise is done then?" Ojiro asked and Nedzu hummed
"It may appear so, so why haven't you called it All-Might?" Nedzu asked sarcastically as the students looked at All-Might in curiosity
"Because young Midoriya is faking it," All-Might said as all the students widened in shock
"Agh, and I had this huge plan, god dammit," Izuku grumbled as he looked down pretending to be defeated "Can someone help me up? I don't want to lie here in my self-pity," Izuku said as Sero sighed and chuckled
"Jesus Midoriya, you got to watch for the landing," Sero said smiling at him as he started walking towards him
"Did you break anything else?" Kirishima asked in concern and Izuku sniffed
"Besides my ankle and my wounded pride?" Izuku asked rhetorically as he looked up to see Sero approaching him "No, nothing else," Izuku said and Kirishima nodded easing his worries
"Here, let me help you up," Sero said and Izuku looked up and smiled
"Thank you Sero, you're a nice guy," Izuku said smiling "And I'm very sorry," Izuku said as Sero blinked in confusion
"Sorry for," Sero started asking in confusion but Izuku broke his train of thought as he swept Sero's legs and made him stumbled down
He jumped and grabbed Sero by the face he bringing him down with enough strength to knock him out but not enough to break his helmet, he jumped up again and sent several webs to Sero's chest trapping him on the ground
He landed in front of him crouched down and looked straight at Kirishima who could only blink in shock as the takedown only had lasted about three seconds in his eyes
"What the? How!?" Kaminari asked confused as he saw how Izuku moved so fast, he blinked and Sero was down on the ground
"Sero put his guard down, that's what Midoriya wanted but why?" Todoroki asked in curiosity
"Fighting young Sero and Young Kirishima at the same time would be difficult," All-Might said "Young Kirishima can fight up close, while Young Sero could offer range support, he would've had a hard time fighting them and the time would've run down," All-Might explained
"Midoriya needed the surprise factor, and by having created that ruse, he opened a window of opportunity for himself," Nedzu said as he looked at how Izuku was facing Kirishima
"What the? Your ankle?" Kirishima asked confused
"Not broken, a little white lie," Izuku said as he crouched down in a racing starting position, one that Kirishima hadn't noticed
"That's so unmanly, why would you do…," Kirishima said but stopped because he blinked and saw Izuku face to face with him
"I don't intend to explain myself to a villain like you," Izuku said telegraphing a right hook which allowed Kirishima to activate his quirk on his arms and face and block the fist "Hu I was right, you only activate one part of your body's hardening," Midoriya said and Kirishima blinked in confusion
"What?" Kirishima asked but then received a hell kick to his stomach that took his breath out
Izuku grabbed his right arm and threw Kirishima to the wall on the left as Kirishima's back connected hard on the wall
He stood up but he didn't have time to think as once again Izuku was in front of him, Izuku started sending an onslaught of strikes and Kirishima could only put his hands up with his quirk activated
"Is this enough for you? Not being able to do anything but wait for the opponent to tire himself out?" Izuku asked sarcastically "I realized that you've only begun developing your quirk recently, but this is just so sad, what have you been doing all this time?" Izuku said as Kirishima's eyes widen
"Is this your plan, stand back while your partners are being taken down, not being able to do anything, pathetic," Izuku said and that struck a nerve in Kirishima
"Shut up!" Kirishima said and Izuku chuckled
"Nah, make me," Izuku said as Kirishima managed to push Izuku back a little and send a strike with his hardened fist and screamed in the process
But that was exactly what Izuku wanted, he grabbed Kirishima's arm and jumped tying his legs to the redhead's torso, he pulled back and brought Kirishima down with him in a jujitsu type of lock
Kirishima found himself lying upwards with Izuku on top of him, he tried to free himself but the next thing he saw was Izuku's fist coming towards his face and then nothingness
Izuku let go of Kirishima's arm and stood up, then looked straight at where the camera feed was and flipped them off while smirking under his mask
"Hero team wins!"
