Sister of the Boy Who Lived

Chapter 24

Previously- Tonks explains the hollows to the group. Hermione gets tipsy and tries to tame the portrait in the stairwell.

Voldemort sat in Malfoy manner and pondered his choices. He had more than two spies, that would feed him information. He knew that Potter was in hiding, with the sister out of the way he had no one to protect him. Severus liked to remind him that he had allies who would protect him if needed.

Though the potter brat had gotten better at hiding his mind from him, he was still able to gleam bits and pieces. When he slept his hold on his thoughts would give way a bit more and he could get a glimpse. These glimpses though insignificant gave him insight. He knew that they had the true locket, he knew that they were looking for the hollows or information about the symbol. He knows that trying to talk to people will likely be a trap. He chuckled; Nagini had almost had them too. He sighed; he was enjoying the chase, but it was becoming tiring. There was also some girl traveling with him, it didn't matter to him. he would get to the bottom of it, he chuckled again before continuing with business.

Voldemort reluctantly agreed and had his second spy gather him other information. Where were the people closest to him hiding? "Where were they staying last," he asked the spy.

"They were staying at headquarters of the Order, my lord," they replied.

"Where is headquarters?"

The spy gave him the location before bowing and being dismissed. The spy then went back into the shadows before going on another hunt for other things he knew the dark lord would take interest in.

Voldemort smiled a knowing smile; he knew what he would do next.

Grimmauld Place

January had moved smoothly without much of a hitch and moved firmly into February. There had been little progress on finding the rest of the Horcruxes and even less information on the deathly hollows and where they could be. Except for the cloak, Harry had that.

Miah found that she was missing Viktor very much. She found herself writing letters to him in her journal. She was in the drawing room when Sirius came in looking concerned. He kept pulling back the curtain and peeking out the window and muttering under his breath.
"Is something wrong Sirius?" Miah asked curiously. This broke Sirius out of his thoughts, and he looked to her before looking back out the window. She got up and came to the window and peeked out where Sirius was looking. She saw two people outside with high neck coats, top hats. One was standing against the lamp post, seeming smoking his pipe. The second person was sitting further down on a bench.

"Death Eaters," his whisper was so quiet she almost didn't hear it. She ducked back down and went back to writing in her journal. While she hoped he was wrong; but she knew that he wasn't. they would have to be careful leaving the house. Or perhaps they should just quit the place all together and find a new hideout. How hard could it be? Right?

"Great idea Hermione," Harry said patting her on the shoulder. She had suggested they just all take the tent and go to a random place and set up wards. It didn't take long to get Sirius on board. Remus didn't think it a good idea for Miah to go with Harry, only because of the risk of being captured and found out. Lord only knew what Lord Voldemort would do if he found out Miah Potters death was staged by the tree young men, he charged with killing her in the first place. She shuttered at the thought, her arm broke out in goose pimples, and she shivered a little. She shook her head before heading towards the edge of their space and proceeded to erect a shield around the tent and the surrounding area. It would hide them, and it would repel uninvited guests and pests.

Harry and Ron had been on a walk to look for food when they came back near dead and out of breath. Harry was half dragging a sword behind him. Ron who was barely holding harry up was also holding all the clothes that harry had been wearing. Miah looked on concerned, before alerting Remus and Sirius to harry and Rons return.

"What happened?" Sirius asked concerned helping to Harry sit down in a chair and wrapping a blanket around him to help him stay warm. "Is that the sword of Gryffindor?"

"How on earth?" Remus asked in wonder as he saw the sword in Harry's hand.

"We found it," Harry said slowly, "we were looking for something we could bring home and cook. Rabbit or a dear maybe. However, we were met with a doe Patronus, and so we followed it. There was nothing but a small pond, when I peered in, that was when I saw the sword."

"What happened after you jumped in?" Miah asked him, rubbing his shoulder.

"Well, I grabbed the sword but, on the way, back up, my head started to burn, and I nearly blacked out. Ron jumped in after me and dragged me out, and he helped me back to camp."

"Its interesting that you should find the sword of Gryffindor Harry, Hermione said with a smile. "Who but Harry Potter could pull the sword from the sorting hat in a time of true need?" she smiled at her brother.

"Well," he started but was promptly cut off by Miah, she gave him the look that would brook no argument.

"Get warmed up," Miah said before he could try and cut in again, "I will go and fix you a cuppa." She smiled at him before disappearing into the kitchen.

The next morning, Harry woke everyone up with a yell. When they got to him, he was panting and sweating profusely, his head was turning from side to side. His teeth clenched as if he was fighting off something mentally. When he woke all, he could do was heave and try to catch his breath. Hermione helped guide him through it.

"Harry, follow my voice," she said guiding him out of his dream, "he knows," Harry mumbled, "he knows about the Locket."

Miah and ron looked at each other and then over to remus and sirius.
