Episode 302: Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre
After taking their leave of the ABC Islands, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, May, Max, Lisia, Hikaru, Pikachu, Angel, Eevee, Azurill, Xipak, Celeste, and Marill rode on Wailord as they cruised the ocean to reach Mossdeep City for Sora's upcoming Gym battle. They made a stop on the nearest island just so Sora can train. He let out his team and they started to train hard.
While they were training, May quickly noticed something swimming her way.
"Huh? What's that?" May asked. She got her answer when a Squirtle surfaced on the beach. With it is a huge group of Squirtle and Wartortle. They came out of the sea water, too. That one Squirtle was much smaller than the other Squirtle, so May had to figure that little Squirtle had to be a baby. "Squirtle and Wartortle." May took out her Rotom Phone and scanned the Squirtle first.

Its shell is not only for protection. Its rounded shape and the grooves on its surface minimize resistance in water, enabling Squirtle to swim at high speeds.
She moved it and scanned the Wartortle next.

Its large tail is covered with rich, thick fur that deepens in color with age. The scratches on its shell are evidence of this Pokémon's toughness in battle.
"You don't see Squirtle and Wartortle swim in the Hoenn region's waters too often," Kris said.
"No, but turtle Pokémon can swim across the ocean," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
The little Squirtle looked around and saw a Corphish emerging from the sand. The little Squirtle one of the bigger Squirtle came up behind the little Squirtle and gave it a blast with a Water Gun, making it retreat inside its shell. Some of the other Squirtle just laughed at how it reacted. May was appalled by how that Wartortle just bullied that little Squirtle like that.
"Hey, that's just mean," May said.
"He must be the runt of the litter," Kairi said.
The other Squirtle just pushed him around and around. Seeing enough, May stepped in with a Pokéball and tossed it.
"Bulbasaur! I choose you!" May shouted. Bulbasaur emerged from inside, waiting for May's instructions.
"Bulbasaur," Bulbasaur said.
"Use Vine Whip!" May ordered. Bulbasaur uses Vine Whip on the bully Squirtle. Infuriated by May's intervention, the Squirtle attacked Bulbasaur with an Aqua Tail while one of the Squirtle came at Bulbasaur while spinning around with its feet covered in ice and lands a hit on Bulbasaur. May gasped. "Bulbasaur!"
"That was Ice Spinner," Lyra said.
"Okay, you asked for it! Bulbasaur! Razor Leaf!" May ordered. Bulbasaur fired Razor Leaf at the bully Squirtle as the little Squirtle looked from inside the shell. The bully Squirtle then retreated. May bends down to Bulbasaur. "You did a great job, Bulbasaur."
"Bulbasaur," Bulbasaur said.
"Take a good, long rest," May said, calling her Bulbasaur back. She approached Squirtle. "Are you okay, little Squirtle?"
"Squirtle," the Squirtle said.
"You must have been scared," May said.
"Who can blame him after what those bullies did?" Leaf asked.
"Yeah, picking on a little baby. Who does that for real?" Kris asked.
"Squirtle," the little Squirtle said.
"He must be really hungry, so let's give him something to eat to make him forget his troubles," Kairi said.
"How about it, Squirtle? Are you hungry?" May asked.
"Squirtle," Squirtle said.
May took out some Pokémon food for the Tiny Turtle Pokémon to eat.
"Here, Squirtle. It's really yummy," May kindly said. Hungry, Squirtle took a bite of the Pokémon food and he immeditely liked it. May smiled as Squirtle was eating it. "Have as much as you want."
"Wow, look at Squirtle go," Lisia said.
"He's got a healthy appetite," Lyra said.
"Marill, Marill," Marill said.
Squirtle kept on eating until he was full and satisfyed.
"Does that feel better?" May asked.
"Squirtle, Squirtle,' Squirtle said. May giggled.
"Oh, you're cute," May said. She then gets an idea. She thought of catching Squirtle for herself and she thought she could train Squirtle to be a Pokémon fit for a Pokémon Contest. She took out a Pokéball. "Squirtle, do you wanna come with me?"
"Squirt?" Squirtle asked.
"May, what are you doing?" Leaf asked.
"I figured Squirtle could be a Pokémon perfect for a Pokémon Contest, so why not, right?" May asked.
"You know, you're right. With proper training, Squirtle can be the best Pokémon for a contest he can be," Lisia said.
"You should go for it, May," Kairi said as Naminé, Kris, and Lyra nodded with agreement.
"Eevee!" Angel and Celeste said.
"Marill, Marill!" Marill said.
"Okay. You're in, Squirtle! Welcome to the group!" May said.
"Squirtle, Squirtle!" Squirtle said, jumping up as May threw her Pokéball in the air. He tapped the button on the Pokéball and flowed inside it. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. She picked up her Pokéball.
"Hey, isn't your Pokémon Box supposed to go off, May?" Leaf asked.
"Yeah, because you got six on your team," Kris pointed out.
"Actually, Brendan and I asked Professor Oak if we could carry twelve Pokémon instead of just six, and we both promised him that we'll be responsible with it, and he said it was okay," May said.
"Is that right? That's nice of him," Kris said.
"I figured you'd get it sooner or later, May," Kairi said.
Over to Sora, Pikachu, Xipak, and Sora's other Pokémon, Ash, Ethan, and Brendan would help Sora spar for it since Brendan was also training hard. Sora and Brendan were in place to have their Pokémon battle each other. Sora had chosen Pikachu and Combusken as Brendan had chosen his Grovyle and Charmander.
"Okay, Brendan, you got the first move," Sora said.
"Thanks. Grovyle! Use Leaf Blade! Charmander! Use Thunder Punch!" Brendan ordered. Grovyle came at Pikachu and Combusken with Leaf Blade while Charmander came at them with Thunder Punch.
"Pikachu! Use Iron Tail! Combusken! Use Fire Punch!" Sora ordered. Pikachu and Combusken lands Iron Tail and Fire Punch to block them. Pikachu blocked Grovyle's Leaf Blade with Iron Tail while Combusken uses Fire Punch to block Charmander's Thunder Punch.
"Grovyle, CHarmander! Use Dragon Claw!" Brendan ordered. Grovyle and Charmander came at their opponents with a Dragon Claw.
"Dodge it!" Sora called out. Pikachu and Combusken tried to dodge their attacks, but Grovyle and Charmander were too fast for them and they slashed their opponents with Dragon Claw. "Combusken! Use Flame Charge on Grovyle! Pikachu! Electro Ball on Charmander!" Combusken rushes at Grovyle with a Flame Charge while Pikachu forms a ball of electricity and sent it right at Charmander.
"Charmander! Dodge and use Flamethrower!" Brendan ordered. Charmander dodged Pikachu's Electro Ball and fired Flamethrower, hitting Pikachu before he could tell him to dodge. "Good job, Charmander!"
"Not bad, Brendan. You trained your Charmander well," Sora said.
"Thanks, Sora. But it's not over yet! Grovyle! Use Solar Blade!" Brendan ordered. Grovyle began to build up energy in his leaf.
"Combusken! Use Sky Uppercut while Grovyle's building up energy!" Sora ordered. Combusken rushes at the Wood Gecko Pokémon. Once Combusken was close enough, Grovyle unleashed Solar Blade, landing a hit. Combusken fell on the ground as Grovyle suddenly begins to evolve.
"Grovyle's evolving!" Brendan exclaimed. Grovyle has become a Sceptile. "I got me a Sceptile." Brendan took out his Rotom Phone and scanned his partner.

It agilely leaps about the jungle and uses the sharp leaves on its arms to strike its prey.
"Look at you, Sceptile. You look so very cool! I'm so proud of you," Brendan said.
"Sceptile," the newly evolved Sceptile said.
"It's awesome that your Sceptile has evolved, Brendan. Wanna keep going?" Sora asked.
"You know it, Sora. Sceptile! Use Dragon Claw!" Brendan ordered. Sceptile came at Pikachu and Combusken with a Dragon Claw.
"Combusken! Sky Uppercut!" Sora ordered. Combusken rushes at Sceptile to land an uppercut on the Forest Pokémon. Sceptile swiped his claws at Combusken, making the Young Fowl Pokémon fall backwards. Sora was impressed by how strong Brendan's Sceptile is after evolving. He help Combusken on his feet.
"You did a great job, Combusken. You too, Pikachu," Sora said.
"Combusken," Combusken said.
"Pika, Pika," Pikachu said.
"Wanna keep going?" Ethan asked.
"Sure," Sora and Brendan said.
Sora now had a practice battle with Riku. Riku had a Glalie and a Shiftry out as Sora had Sealeo and Gallade out. Brendan had a practice battle with Ethan as he has Typhlosion and a Breloom out.
The girls have arrived as they watched the boys train hard. During the training, Sora's Marshtomp, Lairon, Vibrava, and Sealeo have evolved.
After getting some training done, the group took a break to rest when they suddenly heard a familiar voice out in the distance. Well, familiar to Sora and Kairi.
"Ahoy there!" A voice called out. The group looked around and they saw a boat being operated by Mr. Briney, smiling at the group. Peeko is flying around, happy.
"Mr. Briney!" Sora and Kairi said.
The boat comes closer to the beach.
"Lady Luck smiles on me today, because I get to see you again!" Mr. Briney said.
"You know him?" Lisia asked.
"Yeah. Mr. Briney is an old sailor we met in Rustboro City. He took us to Dewford Island," Sora explained.
"How have you been?" Kairi asked.
"Splendid since we last saw each other. Peeko and I are pleased to see you again," Mr. Briney said.
"Wingull," Peeko said.
"What brings you out here in this part of Hoenn?" Mr. Briney asked.
"Well, we're doing some island hopping and on our way to Mossdeep City. Just getting some training done before then," Sora said.
"It seems the both of you have done well since we last saw each other. And I take it that these are your friends," Mr. Briney said.
"Yes, sir. Meet Riku and his girlfriend, Naminé, along with Riku's partner, Eevee, and Naminé's partner, Azurill. These are Ash and Leaf. I knew them from my childhood. This is Ethan and his girlfriend, Kris, and this is Lyra and her Marill. This is May, and her little brother, Max, and her friend, Brendan, along our friends, Lisia and Hikaru," Sora introduced.
"A pleasure," Mr. Briney said, smiling. "Would you kids like a lift to Mossdeep City?"
"That'll be great, Mr. Briney," Sora said.
"It's very nice of you," Kairi said.
"I appreciate it," Hikaru said.
The group called their Pokémon back and boarded Mr. Briney's boat.
"Alright, Peeko! Setting a course for Mossdeep City!" Mr. Briney said.
"Wingull!" Wingull said.
With that said, the boat begins to make its way for Mossdeep City. Sora and Kairi explained to their friends about how they found Mr. Briney tied up in his home and Peeko was taken hostage by a member of Team Aqua, and how they dealt with a gang of Sharpedo and how they dealt with Heartless, Nobodies, and Unversed that attacked.
Meanwhile, Team Magma's boat sails through the ocean as Tabitha came up to Maxie.
"Tabitha, you've been missed lately. But your timing couldn't be more perfect. We have discovered Groudon's whereabouts," Maxie said.
"Oh, is that right?" Tabitha asked.
"It most certainly is. Everything we've been through will pay off at last. Team Magma's vision of a world of never-ending land will soon become a reality," Maxie said.
"About that, Maxie," Tabitha said. Maxie looked at one of his lieutenants. "I have been looking into it, and I wanted to ask if we should go along with it."
"What is that supposed to mean, Tabitha?" Maxie asked.
"Well, you see, Groudon will cause an eternal sunshine, but is it worth it? I mean, is it worth it that every plant and tree will die from lack of water and the Pokémon and people as well?" Tabitha asked.
"Where is this coming from?" Maxie asked, not liking what Tabitha was saying.
"Listen to me, Maxie! The world we want and the world Groudon will create are two different things! I realized that fact when I saw that bit of information with my own eyes! But I'm standing by your side, because I want to see how powerful Groudon really is," Tabitha said. Maxie just disregarded Tabitha's warning, still determined to see it towards the end.
"And you shall, Tabitha. Trust me. I can assure you that the world we want is the same as the one as Groudon will create. And we will be its rightful ruler," Maxie said.
Meanwhile, Team Aqua's submarine is cruising through the ocean as Shelly entered Archie's chambers.
"Shelly, nice of you to come. You came just in time. We're closer than ever to awaken Kyogre and create our new world," Archie said.
"You mean you found the Blue Orb?" Shelly asked, shocked.
"Why so surprised, Shelly? Team Aqua's ambitions will finally be realized and we will become the rightful rulers of the new world!" Archie said.
"You can't be serious, Archie!" Shelly said, making Archie look at her.
"What was that?" Archie asked.
"Can't you see that the world we want and the world Kyogre will create are two different things?!" Shelly exclaimed.
"Shelly, what are you saying?" Archie asked.
"I did my research on Kyogre ever since our mission at the weather institution. And I made this discovery, and I've been doing more research and I saw could be a total disaster for us, and the rest of the world!" Shelly said.
"You don't mean it, do you, Shelly?" Archie asked.
"But I want to see how powerful Kyogre really is," Shelly said.
"And you will see it with your own eyes, Shelly. With the power of the Blue Orb, our goal will be met!" Archie said. Shelly was filled with worry, knowing something bad was going to happen.
Meanwhile, the group have arrived to Mossdeep City and departed from Mr. Briney's boat.
"Thanks for the lift, Mr. Briney," May said.
"We surely appreciate it," Lisia said.
"Anytime, kids. I'm happy to give you a lift, and I would gladly do so again in a heartbeat," Mr. Briney said.
"Wingull!" Wingull said.
"I hope we get to see you again," Leaf said.
"I feel the same way. Now, I'm off to where the wind calls me. Farewell," Mr. Briney said.
"Bye!" The group all said, waving to the elderly sailor.
After arriving to Mossdeep City, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, May, Max, Lisia, Hikaru, Pikachu, Angel, Eevee, Azurill, Xipak, Celeste, and Marill have headed for the Pokémon Center to rest.
Upon arriving, Sora hears that the Mossdeep City Gym uses Psychic-type Pokémon, so he figured Bug, Ghost, and Dark-type Pokémon would be the way to go. Sora thought of using Mightyena, Shiftry, Sharpedo, Sableye, Dusknoir, Banette, Dustox, Ninjask, Shedinja, Cacturne, Armaldo, Crawdaunt, and Absol to use. Then again, there was also Butterfree, Beedrill, Annilihape, Parasect, Gengar, Pinsir, Umbreon, Heracross, Yanmega, Hounckrow, Forretress, Houndoom, Scizor, Kleavor, and Tyranitar to choose from. They were all good options to choose from.
"This is going to be hard to choose from," Sora said. Sora exchanged Walrein, Gallade, and Wailord for Absol, Armaldo, and Sableye. "There."
Over to Team Magma's boat, Looker and Steven have succeeded in infiltrating Team Magma and they managed to keep their cover.
"This is where we split up," Looker said.
"Agreed. I'll search the east and you search the west," Steven said.
With that said, the two of them split up to find any clues they could use to put a stop to Maxie's plans.
Meanwhile, Wallace has successfully infiltrated Team Aqua's submarine and he searches for any signs of Archie. Just then, Matt approached him.
"Hey, you!" Matt roared. Wallace quickly turned and saw him. "What do you think you're doing?"
"N-Nothing!" Wallace lied, keeping his deception in effect.
"Nothing? Then why you wondering around when you're supposed to be with the rest of the squad, preparing to find the Seafloor Cavern to reach Marine Cave on Monsu Island. Now, get your worthless hide down there before I drag you there by your broken neck!" Matt threatened.
"Right, sir. Sorry. sir," Wallace said, taking off. Matt shook his head and sighed to himself.
"Is it me or do we get some of the dumbest grunts under our wing?" Matt asked himself.
Over to Wallace, he sighed to himself, knowing his cover was maintained. That was a close call on his because if Wallace he was close to having his cover blown if he didn't comply with Matt.
Back in Mossdeep City, Sora was doing some training for his Gym battle when Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, their Pikachu, and a new boy stepped out. He is a boy with spiky red hair, green eyes and pale skin. He wears a yellow zipped up vest worn over a black long sleeved t-shirt with oranges stripes down the sleeves, jeans which too have orange stripes down them and big brown boots. He also wears a small black bag around his waist, and a pair of goggles around his neck.
"Is that him?" The boy asked.
"Yeah, it's him," Karen said.
"Pikachu," Blossom said.
"When you told me that your brother won the Pokémon Leagues in Kanto and Johto, I didn't believe you at first, and I can clearly see that you weren't yanking my chain," Michael said.
"Okay, guys. Let's do this," Sora said. Absol, Armaldo, and Sableye nodded as they gotten started on their training. Sableye worked hard to perfect his Shadow Claw as Armaldo worked on X-Scissor and Absol worked hard on Night Slash. They trained for twenty minutes as Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, the Pikachu, and the boy approached him.
"You look like you're doing okay for yourself, Sora," Terra said from behind. Sora quickly turned around and his face lit up when he saw his sister, his cousin, his friends, and a new kid.
"Karen, Ven, Terra, Aqua! I haven't seen you since we saw you back in Littleroot Town," Sora said.
"Pika, Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Pikachu!" Blossom said, hugging her brother.
"I thought I'd see you here again," Ventus said.
"Pikachu!" Sparky said.
"It's nice to see you, Sora," Aqua said.
"Likewise," Sora said, looking at the boy. "So, who's this?"
"Sora, we want you to meet Michael. He's a friend we made in the Orre region," Karen introduced.
"I just wanna say, it's an honor to finally meet you, Mr. Ketchum," Michael said, shaking his hand.
"Just Sora, and it's nice to meet you," Sora said. Ventus saw the Pokémon and he approached.
"Whoa! An Armaldo, a Sableye, and an Absol! Did you catch these Pokémon, Sora?" Ventus asked.
"Ven, don't be rude!" Aqua scolded.
"Don't be too hard on him, Aqua. You know he likes Pokémon," Terra said.
"Yeah, Ven, I caught these. Guys, meet Ven. He's my younger cousin," Sora said. Sableye, Armaldo, and Absol has taken a shine to Ventus and to Sparky. Blossom, Thor and Eclair have hit it off with the Pokémon as well.
"Are Kairi and the others here, too?" Karen asked.
"Yeah, they're here. In fact, I think I'll take you right to them," Sora said as he called Armaldo, Sableye, and Absol back inside and they stepped in the Pokémon Center and into the room they were staying in. "Hey, guys."
The rest of the group saw Karen, Ventus, Terra, and Aqua with their own eyes and smiled.
"Hey, you guys," Ash said.
"Aren't we glad to see you?" Brendan asked.
"When did you get here?" Ethan asked.
"Just today," Terra answered.
"How are Max, Zoe, and Rex?" Leaf asked.
"They're okay. They went on home after our adventure in Orre," Karen said.
"Yeah, we had a total blast," Ventus said.
"Eevee!" Celeste exclaimed, going up to Karen. She bends down and picked her up.
"Longtime no see, Celeste. You too, Xipak," Karen said.
"Pikachu," Xipak said.
"Pika?" Pikachu asked, tilting his head.
"Vee?" Angel asked, also tilting her head.
"You know her, Karen?" Kairi asked. Karen looked at her brother's girlfriend and she instantly saw an image of Xion. She could have sworn she saw Xion smiling. The image then switched back to Kairi through her eyes.
"Um, it's a very a long story," Karen said. That was the half-story because she didn't want to burden Sora and Kairi with the information of Roxas and Xion being their Nobodies. May looked at Michael, and she had to ask.
"Um, who's this guy?" May asked, gesturing to Michael.
"My name's Michael, and as you can guess, I came from the Orre region. And I know all about you, other than Sora and Kairi. Ash, Naminé, Leaf are from Kanto, Ethan, Lyra, and Kris are from Johto, Riku came from Alola, and of course, May and Brendan are from right here in Hoenn, but I don't think they ever mentioned you," Michael said, pointing to Hikaru.
"Yeah, who are you?" Karen asked.
"Oh, right, you never met. His name's Hikaru Ōkami, and he's a student of Ben Blaze," Sora said.
"Wait, are you saying he has a Keyblade, too?" Michael asked. The whole group just flinched when Michael say the word "Keyblade". They wondered how he knows about it.
"Yeah, he knows about it, because..." Karen said as Michael holds out his hand and he summoned a Keyblade right in his hand, surprising the group. The blade of the Keyblade is red, blue, yellow, green, and cyan, indicating fire, water, lightning, grass, and ice. The Keyblade's teeth is a star with the sides matching the colors of the blade. The guard is red and blue, and the keychain is red, blue, green, yellow, and turquoise. The token is an Eevee's head. This Keyblade shall be known as the Gale of Elements.
"He's a Keyblade wielder, too," Lisia gasped.
"How did it happen?" Lyra asked.
"It's a long story," Terra said.
Karen, Ventus, Terra, and Aqua explained to their friends that it happened when Heartless, Nobodies, and Unversed attacked in the Orre region during his mission to snag the Shadow Pokémon from the newly revived Team Shadow. When he saw his mother and sister in danger from the Heartless, Michael summoned his Keyblade for the first time and used it to fight off the Heartless, and they explained what they knew about the Keyblade and about the magic he can use.
"And that's about it," Aqua concluded.
"I was surprised when it suddenly appeared in my hands. But, it was pretty cool," Michael said.
"Why have you come all the way out here? And shouldn't you four have gone home with Max, Zoe, and Rex?" Ash asked.
"It was my idea to come here. After we purified the last Shadow Pokémon, we left the Orre region to find you because they said you can talk to a lady named Rei about teaching me about using a Keyblade," Michael said.
"By the way, is she even here?" Karen asked.
"We haven't even seen her in a while, but we can have a word with her on your behalf, Michael, if you want," Riku said.
"Thanks," Michael said.
The group shared their experience with Michael, filling him about their experiences since they last saw each other like Kairi finding out that she's descended from a sorceress called the "Crystal Maiden" and how Kairi can use crystal magic. They shared about Sora's battle at Fortree City and against the Battle Tower and Kairi earning her Contest Ribbon in Lilycove City, and about their experience in the Digital World and meeting the Digimon partners of the DigiDestined. They also shared how they met Hikaru.
"Wow, you've been through a lot," Michael said.
"We're sorry to hear about Lucius, Hikaru," Aqua apologized.
"Don't apologize, Aqua. I'm sure I'll see him again," Hikaru said. Hikaru sighed to himself, thinking about Lucius.
Meanwhile, Team Magma's ship has docked on Monsu Island. Maxie along with Tabitha, Courtney, and several grunts, including Looker and Steven in disguise departed from the ship.
"To the volcano. Our destiny awaits," Maxie said. Team Magma complied with their leader and they follow him through the jungle of the island. They finally made it to the volcano and right to the entrance. There was an omega symbol on the wall of the volcano. "And here it is. Our way in." He took out the Red Orb and used it as a key to unlock the seal. The wall lowers, opening their way in.
"This is it! The way towards Groudon!" Courtney said.
"Indeed it is, Courtney," Maxie agreed. He grinned evilly. "The time has come at last!" Not waiting any longer, Looker took out a Pokéball and opened it, letting out an Arcanine as Steven has taken out a Pokéball and let out his Metagross.
"Metagross! Use Psychic!" Steven ordered. Metagross uses Psychic on the grunts.
"Arcanine! Take Down!" Looker ordered. Arcanine tackled the grunts down to the ground.
"What are you doing?!" Tabitha exclaimed.
"You traitors!" Courtney exclaimed.
"They're not traitors! They're spies!" Maxie stated. Courtney took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Come out, Camerupt!" Courtney called out. Her Pokéball opened and her Camerupt emerged from inside. "Use Lava Plume!" Camerupt unleashed Lava Plume, damaging both Arcanine and Metagross. They were injured, but they were still standing.
"I know that's Steven Stone! The Hoenn region's Champion, but who are you?" Maxie asked. Looker and Steven took off their disguises.
"Detective Looker, international police! You are all under arrest for crimes against the Hoenn region, and conspiracy to commit genocide!" Looker stated.
"Your evil plot ends here and now," Steven said.
"So you think," Maxie said, snapping his fingers. He called forth Heartless. They were like Shadows, but they wore Team Magma's uniforms. Like the Shadow Rockets had Team Rocket's logo, they had Team Magma's logo on the uniforms These shall be known as the Shadow Magmas.
"Heartless?!" Steven exclaimed in shock.
"Destroy them!" Maxie commanded. The Shadow Magmas rushed at the detective and the champion as they fled. The Shadow Magmas chased after them in pursuit. They shot out fireballs to strike at them. As they ran, several Shadow Rockets appeared and attacked. Steven jumped on Metagross and reached out his hand.
"Grab my hand, Looker!" Steven said.
"Go without me!" Looker said.
"No! We can make it out together! Trust me!" Steven said.
"I'll be alright! Just hurry before it's too late!" Looker said. Seeing that there was no time to argue, Steven reluctantly agreed and took off without Looker.
"You better be alive when I get back," Steven said.
Meanwhile, in Team Aqua's submarine, the submarine makes its way in through an underwater tunnel. The submarine submerged Archie along with Shelly, Matt, Wallace, and the grunts came out of the submarine and they walk through the cave. They came across a wall with an alpha symbol. Archie grinned.
"This is it. The cavern Kyogre is said to rest: The Marine Cave," Archie said. "Our moment of glory is within our reach, I can practically touch it," Archie said. Shelly said nothing and Matt has taken notice.
"Hey, Shelly, is everything okay? You haven't said a word," Matt whispered.
"It's nothing," Shelly lied. Archie took out the Blue Orb and held it up.
"Now..." Archie paused. "The Blue Orb is our key to success!"
"No, it is not!" Wallace stated. Hearing his voice and Wallace took off his disguise to reveal himself.
"I know you! You're the former Gym Leader in Sootopolis City! Why are you here?" Archie asked.
"To stop you! You cannot hope to command legendary Pokémon! It's true that you hold the Blue Orb, but its power is beyond your control! The ancient people couldn't control them! No one can!"
"Just because they weren't able to control them doesn't mean I can't! I can and I will! No one and nothing is going to stop me!" Archie said. He grinned. "And they're going to make sure you don't!" The grunts were about to take him when Heartless appeared in front of the grunts. They were like Shadows, but they wore Team Aqua's outfits, and they had the Team Aqua logo on their bandanas. These shall be known as Shadow Aquas.
"What are they?" Matt asked.
"I don't know," Shelly said.
"Get him!" Archie ordered. The Shadow Aquas went for Wallace and he took out a Pokéball and tossed it up in the air.
"Come out, Milotic!" Wallace called out. Milotic emerged from inside. Wallace's Milotic has shorter eyebrow antennae than Kairi's Milotic. "Use Ice Beam!" Milotic fired Ice Beam, freezing the Shadow Aquas, but more kept coming. Knowing that there was too many to handle, he got on Milotic's back. "It's time to go." Milotic heads out of the cavern and into the water while the Shadow Aquas gave chase.
Underwater, several Screwdivers came after Wallace, but the Tender Pokémon attacked. Milotic destroyed the Heartless with Ice Beam, taking them out.
Over to Team Magma, Maxie was satisfied that the Shadow Magmas has finished off Steven and Looker just so they wouldn't interfere with his plans, so they at last found Terra Cave, and resting in the lava is Groudon in a sleep-like state.
"It's Groudon," Tabitha said.
"It's even more beautiful than I have ever imagined," Maxie said.
"Everything we've worked for is within our reach," Courtney said. Maxie agreed with her. Tabitha did say he wanted to see Grouson's power with his own eyes, and it looked like he's about to get that chance.
"Hear me, Groudon! I am Maxie, leader of Team Magma and seeker of your divine power! I have come a long way to make our ideal world a reality! The world is corrupt beyond recovery and only your absolute might can eradicate the evils that plagues the earth! These plagues is why Pokémon and nature suffers so much! I beg you to return to your true form and make the earth into the massive landscape as it should be!" The Red Orb began glowing. Groudon glows a bright red light and started to come to life. "Groudon! Expand the land! Evaporate the harsh and cruel sea! Grant us the power of the land!" Maxie threw the Red Orb and it exploded in a crimson light. Groudon roars as it began to transform. Groudon grew larger than normal. Outside, the volcano erupts. Not only that, the sky turned orange and yellow. The entire cavern began to shake as Primal Groudon roared loudly.
"Everyone out!" Tabitha shouted.
Outisde, the volcano begins to erupt as smoke, magma, and flaming rocks come flying out. The sky begins to turn bright yellow and the sun was shining more than usual.
Back in Mossdeep City, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, May, Michael, Max, Lisia, Hikaru, Pikachu, Angel, Xipak, Celeste, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, Eevee, Azurill, and Marill have stepped out of the Pokemon Center when the sky turned to yellow. Sora was about to start training again as he begins to sweat.
"Whew! Man, is it me, or does it feel like an oven out here?" Sora asked.
"You're not the only one, Sora. I don't remember it being too hot today," Michael said. Everyone looked up to the sky and saw how yellow it was.
"What's up with the sky?" May asked.
"I don't know, but it doesn't look natural," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
"What in the name of light is going on?" Sora asked. He sees something coming in the distance. "Hey, something's coming this way." It turns out to be Steven and Metagross, hovering in.
"Sora, Kairi, and the rest! Thank goodness you're here," Steven said.
"Steven, what are you doing here?" Sora asked.
"I had to come here and get some help, but you should come with me. I think I can explain at my house," Steven said.
The group agreed with Steven and they went with him to his house. Inside the house, it was decorated with all sorts of stones. It was suitable for a rock collector like Steven, but they didn't have time to admire the decorations because they knew Steven had something he had to share with them.
"Steven, can you tell us what's going on? And why were you just riding on your Metagross like that?" Sora asked. Steven sighed, knowing it was coming.
"This was the work of Team Magma. They have succeeded in their search for the legendary Pokémon, Groudon," Steven explained.
"Team Magma?" Aqua asked.
"Groudon?" Terra asked.
"Team Magma are a bunch of bad guys who uses Pokémon to commit evil deeds," Lisia said.
"If this Team Magma is behind this, then how are they doing it?" Karen asked.
"They used the power of the Red Orb, that's how. They're going to use Groudon's power to expand the land," Steven explained.
"Expand the land?" Michael asked.
"Oh, this is great. And I'm going to guess Groudon is having its morning stretches right now," Sora said.
"Chu," Pikachu said.
"Yes, and the same can be said for Kyogre unless Wallace puts a stop to Team Aqua before it's too late," Steven said. Lisia gasped when Steven her uncle's name.
"My Uncle Wallace?! He's involved with this, too?" Lisia asked.
"Yes, Lisia. In fact, Team Aqua is the reason why he resigned as a Gym Leader," Steven explained.
"Team Aqua?" Terra asked.
"They're using my name as the name of their organization?!" Aqua exclaimed.
"I'm gonna guess they're using the Blue Orb to control Kyogre, right?" Sora asked.
"I'm afraid so. Team Magma's leader, Maxie has summoned a horde of Heartless and he sent them after me, so I managed to get away with my life. I can only hope Wallace hasn't run into any of those things, and Looker is alright," Steven explained.
"Wait, Looker?" Ash asked.
He's with the international police, isn't he?" Kris asked.
"That's right. We haven't seen him since we brought down Team Rocket and their schemes," Leaf said.
"The international police have been looking into Team Magma and Team Aqua's activities for quite a while, and they've sent him to look into it. He recruited Wallace and myself to pull the plug on their operations, but those Heartless only made it difficult for us to do it," Steven explained.
"It looks like we're gonna have to stop the Heartless," Riku said.
"You're right, Riku. If the Heartless are involved, then we should be, too," Sora said.
"Not only that, but we're gonna have to deal with Team Magma, Team Aqua, and two legendary Pokémon," Kairi said.
"I can lend a hand. Greevil and the Team Shadow organization couldn't stop me, and those Team Magma and Team Aqua guys won't stop me either," Michael said.
"Sora, what do you say?" Hikaru asked.
"I say, we should go the source and put a stop to it. Just where is Team Magma right now?" Sora asked.
"The last time I saw them, they're on Monsu Island," Steven said.
"Okay, and that's where we're going to go," Sora said. He turned to his sister, his cousin, and his cousin's friends. "You four will have to stay here where you'll be safe."
"But, Sora!" Ventus said.
"No, Ven! Listen to him," Karen said. Ventus turned to Karen. "Sora's right. He and the others have a much better chance at it than we do, and we have to let them do this."
"And we don't want to put you through danger again, Ven. I will never forgive myself if something bad happened to you," Aqua said.
"Okay," Ventus said.
"We'll keep him safe, Sora," Terra said.
"I know you will, Terra. You too, Aqua," Sora said.
"Max, I think it'll be a good idea if you stay here, too," May said.
"No way! I'm going with you!" Max argued.
"No, it's too dangerous!" May argued back.
"But-!" Max tried to counter.
"No buts!" May stated, putting her foot down. Max just looked at how stern she's being. "Do what I say, and stay here." Seeing that there was no point in arguing with his sister further, so he nodded.
"What about you, Lisia? Are you coming or going?" Ethan asked.
"I'm going with you. Someone has to save my uncle and make sure nothing bad happens to him. I might not have a Keyblade, but I can still battle, even though it's not something I like to do," Lisia said.
"Okay, that's settled," Lyra said.
"Let's get going," Sora said, taking out his Pokémon Box and exchanged Armaldo for Wailord. With that said, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, May, Michael, Hikaru, Steven, Pikachu, Angel, Xipak, Celeste, Eevee, Azurill, and Marill stepped out of the house and headed for the water. Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, and Eclair could only do is anxiously wait. Sora took out Wailord's Pokéball and threw it. Wailord emerged from inside and everyone got on the Float Whale Pokémon's back. "We're going to need your help, Wailord. Carry us to Monsu Island." Wailord nodded and began to swim. Unknown to the group, Wes and Rui were riding right behind them. The vehicle they're riding on gets converted into a hovercraft. And Axel is right with them. Sora and Kairi took out their Rotom Phones to get information on Groudon and Kyogre.

Kyogre is said to be the personification of the sea itself. Legends tell of its many clashes against Groudon, as each sought to gain the power of nature.
Back on Monsu Island, Team Aqua has found Kyogre in the same sleep-like state as Groudon. Archie approached the sleeping titan, holding the Blue Orb.
"Kyogre! I am Archie of Team Aqua! I have waited for this day! Now then, Kyogre, the world is disordered and broken! All human beings care about is pursuing their own selfish desires! And that's the reason nature and Pokémon are all suffering!" Archie called out, making the Blue Orb glow. "Now, Kyogre! Return the world to what it once was and how it rightfully should be!" Archie's com suddenly goes off. He answers it. "What is it?"
"Team Magma had made their move. They have awaken Groudon. The sky is scorching," a grunt said through the com. Archie grins.
"Good. I was hoping for Maxie to make his move sooner or later," Archie said. "Now it's time to awaken, Kyogre!" He threw the Blue Orb and exploded in a shining blue light. Kyogre began to glow as a yellowish energy emerged Kyogre, making it grow larger than normal. Kyogre had transformed into its Primal Form. "Primal Kyogre! Destroy everything! Sink the island into the sea!" Archie commanded. Primal Kyogre roars as the whole cavern began shaking.
Team Aqua ran out of the cave and right back to the submarine before the water level began to rise up.
Wallace rode on his Milotic through the raging sea.
On the way towards Monsu Island, heavy rain began to pour down on them. Not only that, but a strong wind begins to blow. It was so strong, even Wailord was having trouble focusing and everyone would have fallen off of the Float Whale Pokémon.
"First it was usually sunny, and now it's raining," Naminé said.
"It could only mean one thing," Steven said. He looked ahead of them. "Team Aqua has awakened Kyogre."
"Does that mean we're too late?" Lyra asked.
"Marill?" Marill asked.
"First it was scorching hot, but now it's a heavy rain storm. That could only mean one thing. Groudon and Kyogre had both awaken," Wallace said in his thoughts.
Back with the group, they looked around after hearing a roar out in the ocean.
"Did you hear that?" Kris asked.
"We all heard it, Kris," Ash said.
"It's gotta be around here somewhere, right?" Lisia asked.
"Yes, but the question is where?" Steven asked.
He got his answer when Prinal Kyogre jumped out of the water, alarming everyone.
"What is that?!" Michael exclaimed.
"Is that what I think it is?" Riku asked.
"Yes. It's Kyogre in its Primal Form," Steven said.
"Remember when you said that we're going to find out, Kairi?" Brendan asked.
"Unfortunately, I do. I'm sorry I ever said it," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel and Celeste said.
Deep in the ocean, the sea Pokémon were caught in the chaos as they attempted to swim away.
Meanwhile, the merpeople were taking shelter. Clover and Anastasia's mother was holding her trident to cast a protective spell around her kingdom.
"Mother, what is going on?" Anastasia asked.
"I don't know, Anastasia, but I doubt it's pleasant. I must concentrate. Go join your sister and don't come out until it's safe," Clover and Anastasia's mother said.
"Yes, mother," Anastasia said, swimming. She swam as fast as she could despite the chaos going on. She meets up with Clover.
"Anastasia, what's up?" Clover asked.
"Mother is setting up a protective barrier around the kingdom to protect us. We should be with the rest of our people," Anastasia said. She ushered her sister into the shelter where the rest of the merpeople were taking refuge.
Clover and Anastasia's mother has succeeded in creating a barrier, but she had to maintain concentration in order to keep it in effect.
"Must provide as power as possible to maintain our survival," Clover and Anastasia's mother said, straining.
Elsewhere, Weevil Underwood and Rex Raptor were caught in the storm.
"I don't know what is going on, but somehow this is all your fault!" Weevil exclaimed.
"Oh, sure, just blame me for this just like you do everything else!" Rex exclaimed. They both held onto a pole, holding on.
Meanwhile, Rei is caught in the storm, struggling to walk. Several Shadows appeared and attacked her, but she summoned her Keyblade at struck them down.
"Sora, I know you and the others can find a way to resolve this matter," Rei said in her thoughts.
Meanwhile, Drew is witnessing the disaster outside along with Wally. Caught in the heavy rain storm, there is a tall boy with long, wavy purple hair and blue eyes. He wears a green hat that is similar to Cacturne's head, a blue shirt that has a cut rectangle which exposes his belly, a collared jacket and pants that are green in color with a darker zigzag pattern on both of his sides, a white belt with a yellow button and white-heeled shoes.
Back at the ocean, Wailord is struggling to maintain his balance as everyone else is trying to hang in there.
"We won't be able last for a long time if we stay out here!" Ethan said.
"Ethan's right! We're gonna end up going for a nasty swim if we fall off of your Wailord's back!" Brendan said.
"It's a good thing we're almost there then!" Sora said as Wailord beached himself. Everyone got off of the Float Whale Pokémon's back. Sora took out his Pokéball. "You did what I wanted you to do, Wailord. If we need you again, I'll send you back out." Sora calls Wailord back inside. "Where did you last see Looker?"
"He went somewhere in the jungle the last time I saw him," Steven said.
"That's where we'll look," Sora said.
"What about Groudon and Kyogre?" Ash asked.
"Yeah, can't we deal with those two first?" Brendan asked.
"Saving Looker from the Heartless is more important right now because they'll take his heart if we don't find him. Also, I didn't come up with a strategy on how we're going to deal with those two," Sora said.
"Neither did I, to be honest," Riku said.
With that said, the group went off to find Looker in the jungle to save him from the Heartless. Meanwhile, Primal Groudon emerged from inside the cavern when it shattered. It leaves behind a trail of magma in each one of its steps. It sees Primal Kyogre out in the distance and it slowly walks towards it,
Over to Looker, he is still running from the Shadow Magmas, but they weren't alone. With the Shadow Magmas were Silver Dragons, Mandipedes, Cyclodactys, Wreckadillos, Octoshells, Emblem Seahorses, Uni-Walruses, Dreaddy Bears, and some new Heartless.
One brand of Heartless is a goblin-like Heartless with clawed hands and curly shoes. It wore a small pointy hat with the Heartless emblem engraved on it. It has orange skin and yellow eyes. This Heartless shall be known as the Goblin.
Another is a rabbit-like Heartless with large ears. It has red fur and a light pink under fur. It has strong hind legs and has small buck teeth, and yellow eyes. The Heartless emblem is located on its forehead. This Heartless shall be known as the Werehare.
Another is arat-like Heartless. It's the size of a Raticate, and it has large inscisors and has dark gray fur and yellow eyes. It has a pointed snout and a long tail. The Heartless emblem is located on the chest. This Heartless shall be known as the Bad Rat.
Another is a cat-like Heartless. It has black fur and three whiskers on each side. It has sharp teeth and dark gray claws. It has yellow eyes and the Heartless emblem is on the chest. This Heartless shall be known as the Stray Cat.
Finally, there is a large Heartless that resembled a rhino. It has a large horn right on the nose. It has black skin and a large bulking body. It has the Heartless emblem on its horn and yellow eyes. This Heartless shall be known as the Big Horn Rhino.
Looker knew he was trapped and that he wouldn't be able to take them out even with his Arcanine. He waited for the eventual end when the Heartless attacked, but Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, May, Michael, Hikaru, Pikachu, Angel, Xipak, Celeste, Eevee, Azurill, and Marill rush to the rescue. The Keyblade wielding Trainers quickly summoned their Keyblades and engaged the Heartless. Sora slashed through a Shadow Magma as Riku slashed through a Goblin.
"Sora! What excellent timing!" Looker said.
"We can talk later! We'll have to take out those Heartless!" Sora said.
"Of course," Looker said as the Keyblade wielders and the Pokemon attacked the Heartless. One of the Big Horn Rhinos charged at them as Eevee attacked with a Shadow Ball, hitting it. Michael has proven his skills as he struck down a couple of the Dreaddy Bears and Emblem Seahorses. He casts a magnet spell, pulling in some of the Shadow Magmas, Werehares, Stray Cats, Bad Rats, and Octoshells. He casts a thunder spell, shocking them, destroying them. The Silver Dragons spewed fire as Pikachu and Xipak fired Thunderbolt, shocking them and then destroying them.
Naminé slashed at a Wreckadillo as a Uni-Walrus started to rush at her, but Riku slashed at it as Eevee finished it off with a Shadow Ball. Kris casts a music spell, hitting some of the Heartless as Ethan hurls his Keyblade at a Silver Dragon, taking it out. Lyra casts a water spell and uses it to wash the Goblins and Stray Cats in it. Marill finishes them with Bubble Beam. Hikaru swung his Keyblade at the attacking Goblins and Shadow Magmas. A Wreckadillo slashed at him, knocking him down, but Hikaru casts a stone spell, hitting the armadillo-like Heartless, destroying it.
A Big Horn Rhino charges at May, but she slashed her Keyblade at the legs of the rhino-like Heartless and Brendan slashed at a Cyclodactyl when it attempts to swoop down at him. They fought off the Heartless right until the last one was slained.
"That was some fine skills, Michael," Lyra said.
"Thanks. I kinda surprised myself at first," Michael admitted.
"I'm grateful that you saved my life. But there isn't time to catch up, because we have to stop Team Magma and Team Aqua," Looker said.
"I agree. This is an abuse of power that cannot stand," Hikaru said.
"Where's my Uncle Wallace?" Lisia asked.
"Probably somewhere at the ocean by now! And that's where we need to be!" Looker said.
"Right," Steven said. "We have to put a stop to this now!"
With that said, the group went off to the beach to put a stop to the mess, but they're greeted by Courtney and a handful Team Magma's grunts.
"Stop right there!" Courtney said.
"Courtney!" Sora said.
"Look at that. You remember my name. And I remember the beating you gave me back on Mount Chimney. And it looks like I'm about to give you some payback," Courtney said.
"Look, I don't have time for this," Sora said.
"Make the time, little boy," Courtney said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Come out, Camerupt!" Her Pokéball opened and her Camerupt emerged from inside. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Come out, Flygon!" Sora called out. Flygon emerged from inside, ready to battle. "Use Dragon Breath!" Sora ordered. Flygon unleashed a Dragon Breath right at Camerupt.
"Use Flamethrower!" Courtney ordered. Camerupt unleashed a Flamethrower. The grunts took out their Pokéballs. A bunch of Mightyena and Golbat emerged from inside as Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, May, Michael, and Lisia joined in. Kairi, Riku, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Brendan, May, Michael, and Lisia threw their Pokéballs, letting out their Pokémon which consisted of Roserade, Charizard, Venusaur, Typhlosion, Wani-Wani, Sceptile, and Combusken. Roku had let out an Aggron. Ali has emerged from inside. Michael has let out a Gardevoir.
"Roserade! Use Magical Leaf!" Kairi ordered.
"Aggron! Use Flash Cannon!" Riku ordered.
"Azurill! Use Water Gun!" Naminé ordered.
"Charizard! Use Fire Blast!" Ash ordered.
"Venusaur! Use Leaf Storm!"
"Typhlosion! Use Flamethrower!" Ethan ordered.
"Wani-Wani! Use Hydro Pump!" Kris ordered.
"Marill! Use Bubble Beam!" Lyra ordered.
"Sceptile! Use Bullet Seed!" Brendan ordered.
"Combusken! Use Fire Spin!" May ordered.
"Ali! Use Dazzling Gleam!" Lisia ordered.
"Gardevoir! Use Moonblast!" Michael ordered.
"Golbat! Use Air Cutter! Mightyena! Use Dark Pulse!" Courtney ordered. The Golbat and Mightyena attacked the opposing Pokémon, but they managed to push back. The attacks struck the Team Magma Pokémon, knocking them out. Courtney growled as Steven stepped in.
"Good job! I'll take it from here!" Steven said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Claydol! Go!" His Pokéball opened and his Claydol came out. "Use Hyper Beam!" Claydol unleashed Hyper Beam, blasting the ground, creating some debris. Courtney and the grunts shielded their eyes from the dust cloud. Once it cleared, they saw the group was gone.
"After them!" One of the male grunts roared.
"Let 'em go! We have to keep an eye on things for Maxie! He wants us to report to him!" Courtney said.
Over to the group, Sora took out Wailord's Pokéball once again and threw it.
"Come out, Wailord!" Sora called out. Wailord emerged from inside. Everyone, except for Steven came on Wailord's back. Steven took out Metagross's Pokéball and opened it. Stars swirls around Metagross upon entry, so he got on Metagross.
"Let's go!" Steven said.
Agreeing with the Hoenn region's Champion, Wailord followed Metagross through the raging ocean.
Primal Groudon reached Primal Kyogre, causing it to glare at its longtime rival. The two of them engaged each other in combat. Primal Groudon unleashed fire from its mouth as Primal Kyogre unleashed water to block.
Meanwhile, in Petalburg Woods, the local Pokémon flee as the storm rages fiercely. In Petalburg City, Norman and Caroline has taken refuge with the rest of the citizens in a shelter, holding each other and hoping for their children's safety.
Elsewhere, the DigiDestined have taken refuge with the local citizens.
"Well, to think it started out all bright and sunny," Rika sarcastically muttered.
"Well, at least we're together," Takato said, taking Jeri's hand. TK took Kari's hand as Matt took Mimi's. Tai took Sora T's, Takuya has taken Zoe's, Ken has taken Yolei's, Ryo has taken Rika's, and Davis took Amy's. Guil, Munchlax, and Mime Jr held each other, scared. It turns out that Yugi, Téa, Joey, Tristan, Bakura, Mai, Duke, and Serenity have taken refuge with the locals and the DigiDestined since the storm began.
Back at the ocean, Wailord held on as best as he could as well as the entire group.
"It looks like they gotten started," Kairi said.
"Yeah, and it's about to get ugly," Brendan said.
Primal Kyogre jumps into the air and multiple blue orbs appear all around it. It then fires a beam of blue energy from each orb at Primal Groudon.
"What was that?" Ethan asked.
"That was Origin Pulse! It's Kyogre's signature move!" Steven explained. Primal Groudon's body glows with the colors of lava, and then makes a series of incandescent sharp stones coated with lava spring from the ocean. It blocks Primal Kyogre's Origin Pulse. "And that was Precipice Blades. That's Groudon's signature move!"
"Those were powerful attacks," Riku said.
"Is someone there?!" A voice shouted. "Over here!" The voice yelled again. They saw Wallace riding on his Milotic.
"Uncle Wallace!" Lisia shouted.
"Lissi! What are you doing here?" Wallace asked.
"I was worried about you!" Lisia said.
"Steven, Looker! You're alive!" Wallace said.
"Yeah, and so are you!" Looker said.
"I think we should save the reunion for later! We got two powerful Pokémon to stop!" Michael said.
"I agree!" Wallace said. They rode towards Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre while they were fighting each other, but Heartless got in their path. The Heartless were Shadow Aquas, Pirates, and Air Pirates. The Pirates and Shadow Aquas were riding on ships as the Air Pirates and the Battleships were naturally flying.
"Man, not now!" Sora exclaimed. Just then, Axel's Eternal Flames came flying and hits one of the Pirates. Axel then leapt forward and he took out a couple of the Shadow Aquas. "Axel!"
"Sora, there's no time to talk!" Axel said.
"There hasn't been any time to talk," Riku said. Just then, Wes and Rui jumped out of the vehicle and engaged the Heartless with their Keyblades.
"Who are you?" Michael asked.
"Someone who's here to help, and that's all you need to know, newbie!" Wes said.
"Hey, you're from Organization XIII! Why are you helping us?" Hikaru asked.
"I split from those guys if you haven't been catching up with current events! And they tried to eliminate me! That's not important! What's important is stopping those guys from destroying this world!" Axel said.
"Why should we-" Hikaru was cut off.
"Axel's right! Groudon and Kyogre are more important!" Sora said. Hikaru was reluctant to trust Axel, but there wasn't time to argue.
"You're right. Groudon and Kyogre are more important," Hikaru said.
Wes, Rui, and Axel has dealt with the last of the Heartless before they return to the vehicle and rode with the group.
Maxie and Archie had accessed their hovercrafts and hovered to control the two legendary Pokémon before they were face-to-face.
"Archie," Maxie said, spitefully.
"Hello, Maxie. I hope you're enjoying the show," Archie gloated.
"Gloat all you wish, but you won't be gloating when Primal Groudon destroys you and your dreams of an eternal ocean," Maxie said.
"Not unless Primal Kyogre destroys Primal Groudon first!" Archie countered. The organization leaders glare at each other. "Primal Kyogre! Origin Pulse!" Primal Kyogre jumps into the air and multiple blue orbs appear all around it. It then fires a beam of blue energy from each orb at Primal Groudon.
"Primal Groudon! Use Precipice Blades!" Maxie ordered. Primal Groudon's body glows with the colors of lava, and then makes a series of incandescent sharp stones coated with lava spring from the ocean. It blocks Primal Kyogre's Origin Pulse. Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, May, Wes, Rui, Michael, Lisia, Axel, Hikaru, Steven, Wallace, Looker, and the Pokémon headed for the two organization leaders to stop them from destroying the world.
"Archie! Maxie! Stop!" Sora called out. They turned to the group.
"What is the meaning of this?!" Maxie exclaimed.
"Have you all come to surrender to me?" Archie asked.
"You mean to me, Archie," Maxie corrected.
"This is going too far! You to need to stop this now!" Sora said.
"He's right! Look at what your actions are doing!" Steven added.
"I am only giving the world what it needs! Human beings only care about themselves and pursuing their own desires over nature and Pokémon! So, I'm saving the world from those selfish humans!" Archie argued.
"You're not saving the world, you're destroying it!" Riku said.
"Think about how many people are suffering right now! Not just the people, but all the Pokémon, too! Everyone and everything are going to die because of your own selfishness!" Kairi stated.
"The world you make and the world Primal Kyogre will create are two different places! The same goes for Primal Groudon! It won't matter which one takes out the other, because we're all dead either way!" Sora said.
"That's nonsense! The Red and Blue Orbs are the only ones that grants us the power to control these Pokémon! No one but us has the potential to guide them!" Maxie said.
"You don't have complete control over them! You're both consumed by your own delusions!" Wallace said. Archie and Maxie both raised a brow, glaring at the group.
"What do you mean?!" Archie exclaimed.
"Explain!" Maxie demanded.
"An ancient race of people had desires to control both Groudon and Kyogre in order to control the weather. They had hopes of controlling the weather through ancient Pokémon. The orbs were forged by Hoennian sorcerers to do so, but what they found that even with the orbs, the Pokémon themselves were beyond their control. When they transformed into their Primal Forms, they ended up nearly destroying the world, but they succeeded in destroying themselves!" Wallace explained.
Maxie found it absurd when he heard it from Wallace.
"No. No! It's ludicrous! We researched the orbs thoroughly! The orbs themselves are the only means of commanding these ancient Pokémon! The Red Orb is the one ticket to make the world into the land it was meant to be!" Maxie argued.
"How could you believe that?" Lisia asked.
"Enough talk! This ends now!" Archie said. He turned to Primal Kyogre. "Now, Primal Kyogre! Use your Origin Pulse to destroy them!"
"Primal Groudon! Use Precipice Blades!" Maxie ordered. Michael quickly took out his Master Ball and threw it.
"Lugia! Come out!" His Master Ball opened and Lugia emerged from inside. "Use Aeroblast!" Lugia unleashed Aeroblast right at the two legendary Pokémon, hitting them. Michael jumps on Lugia's back as the Diving Pokémon flew around in the air.
"So you have a legendary Pokémon as well, but your Lugia is inferior compared to Primal Kyogre. Destroy that boy and that Lugia, now!" Archie ordered. Primal Kyogre then just ignored his command. Archie grits his teeth. "I said destroy them! I command you to destroy them!"
"Primal Groudon! Destroy them all!" Maxie ordered. Like Primal Kyogre, Primal Groudon just ignored his command. "Why won't you obey me?!"
"Because you don't have control over them like Wallace said!" Steven said. Maxie grits his teeth and he looked at Primal Groudon.
"Could he be right? Could it be that everything I have come to accomplish was all for nothing? If what Wallace said is true, then Tabitha was right to warn me," Maxie said in his thoughts.
Over to Monsu Island, the grunts of Team Magma and Team Aqua watched in horror as the titans of land and sea have slashed against each other. Nobody was more horrified than Tabitha and Shelly.
"It looks like we both got what we wanted, Shelly. We got to see the power of Groudon and Kyogre," Tabitha said.
"Yes, and now, it's too late to undo what has already happened," Shelly said.
"You're right. This is the result if our idiocy," Tabitha said.
Back at Mossdeep City, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Max, and the four Pikachu watched from inside and anxiously waited for Sora and the others to come back safely.
Speaking of which, they all turned to Steven.
"Any ideas on how we're going to stop them, Steven?" Sora asked.
"Just one. The only way we're going to stop them is that we battle against them!" Steven said.
"You can't be serious, Steven! They're legendary Pokémon! There's no way we can stand a chance against those two!" Naminé said.
"Naminé's right! What can we do? Even Michael's Lugia can't stop them!" Brendan said.
"Steven's right! We gotta put this whole thing to an end right now!" Sora said.
"I don't think Pikachu's electricity is going to do anything to Primal Groudon, Sora!" Ash said.
"I know! So, Pikachu and Xipak will be aiming at Primal Kyogre! Some of or Pokémon will deal with Kyogre and the rest will deal with Groudon!" Sora said.
"If you think that'll do it, then we're with you, Sora," Ethan said.
Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Brendan, and May have met out their partners as Sora had let out Swellow, Swampert, Flygon, and Metang. Riku has let out a Salamence to help with the battle. Wes took out a Pokéball and opened it. It let's out his Metagross.
"Swampert! Use Muddy Water! Flygon! Use Dragon Breath! Metang! Use Flash Cannon!" Sora ordered.
"Salamance! Use Dragon Pulse!" Riku ordered.
"Charizard! Use Fire Blast!" Ash ordered.
"Venusaur! Use Leaf Storm!" Leaf ordered.
"Typhlosion! Use Flamethrower!" Ethan ordered.
"Wani-Wani! Use Hydro Pump!" Kris ordered.
"Sceptile! Use Bullet Seed!" Brendan ordered.
"Combusken! Use Fire Spin!" May ordered.
"Metagross! Hyper Beam!" Wes ordered.
The Pokémon launched their chosen attacks at Primal Groudon, getting its attention. Swellow flew Pikachu and Xipak close enough to Primal Kyogre and they get on the Primal Sea Basin Pokémon. Pikachu and Xipak looked at each other and nodded. They unleashed a double Thunderbolt, shocking Primal Kyogre on the mark. Once they were done, Swellow swooped in and the two Mouse Pokémon got on the Swallow Pokémon and he flew off.
"Okay, Lugia! Use Psycho Boost!" Michael ordered. Lugia creates a glowing multicolored ball of energy in its mouth and fired it at Primal Groudon, landing a hit. "Use Aeroblast!" Lugia unleashed an Aeroblast and it struck Primal Kyogre on the mark, but they were still standing.
"Those attacks hurt them, but they hardly did anything," Riku said.
"We'll just have to try again," Kris said.
"Yeah, but what?" Hikaru asked. Sora looked at the two legendary Pokémon and he noticed a red glimmer from Primal Groudon and a blue glimmer from Primal Kyogre. He knew it was the orbs.
"Maybe we gotta get the orbs away from them," Sora said.
"The orbs?" Wallace asked.
"Yeah. The power of the orbs is what's causing them to go berserk, so I thought maybe, if we get the orbs away from those two, maybe they'll calm down," Sora said.
"It's possible," Wallace said. "But one of us has to get close enough to pull the orbs away from them and it won't be easy since it'll be suicide."
"Maybe, but there's a way," Sora said. He looked up to Michael and Lugia. "Michael!" Michael looked at Sora. "You think Lugia can get me close enough to those two?"
"Close to those two?! Why would you wanna do that?!" Michael asked.
"I have an idea I think that might work, so I'll need your help to do it!" Sora said.
"It sounds crazy, Sora! You might up being destroyed by those two!" Michael said.
"I know, but there doesn't seem to be another way!" Sora said.
"No, there isn't," Wes said. Rui has taken the wheel as he and Axel jumped out. "We'll accomplish anything if we put our minds to it. How are you going to do it?"
"I think using a magnet spell should pull the orbs in. I just need to concentrate enough to pull it off," Sora said.
"We can give you the cover you need," Axel said.
With that said, Sora, Wes, and Axel got on Lugia's back with Michael as the Diving Pokémon flew close enough to the two of them.
"Here goes!" Sora said, jumping off. Axel, Wes, and Michael provided Sora some cover just so Sora can literally work his magic. Maxie and Archie looked at him like he was crazy.
"What is that fool doing?!" Maxie exclaimed.
"That stupid kid is going to get himself killed!" Archie exclaimed.
Sora summoned his Kingdom Key and he casts a magnet spell to pull the orbs out of their reach. It was a hard thing to do, but he had to pull it off. Sora has focused for as hard as he could until the glimmer from each one came out, but it was a little stronger than ever. Sora has put all his focus on his magnet spell until the orbs came out of the two legendary Pokémon. Sora dismissed his Keyblade and he caught them both.
"Lugia, get him!" Michael said. Lugia grabbed Sora with his foot and flew him to safety. The power of the orbs then ceased, causing the two Pokémon to calm down.
"Look! Sora's idea is working!" Hikaru said.
"Groudon and Kyogre should go back to normal," Steven said.
And they did. The two Pokémon looked at each other and the storm began to weaken. The two Pokémon then began to make their way back to their resting places on Monsu Island.
All of the world witnessed as the storm has subsided. Not many of them knew how close to total destruction they came to. Sora went over to the volcano as Riku went to the underwater tunnel. Once Groudon and Kyogre were inside, they used their respected Keyblades and sealed them in.
On Mossdeep City, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Max, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, and Eclair have stepped out and saw everything going back to normal. They knew it was Sora who pulled it off.
Back on Monsu Island, the international police have arrived and arrested every member of Team Magma and Team Aqua. Looker has slapped the handcuffs on Maxie, Archie, Tabitha, Shelly, Courtney, and Matt.
"You are under arrest for crimes against the Hoenn region, and for attempted genocide," Looker said.
"So this is it. Team Magma's finished," Courtney said.
"Shut up, Courtney!" Matt hissed.
Looker took a look at the group and he smiled.
"Thanks to all of you, the world can breathe a sigh of relief since we get to see tomorrow," Looker said.
"We're just glad it's over," May said.
"Likewise," Steven said.
"Now that Groudon and Kyogre are sleeping again and Team Magma and Team Aqua were taken down, what's going to he next?" Lisia asked.
"Well, we're just going to set our sights on everything we've set out to do," Sora said.
"Yes, and it's going to include returning the Red and Blue Orbs to Mount Pyre and place them in a stronger seal," Wallace said.
"A stronger seal?" Michael asked.
"You mean, just so that no one else will do what they almost did?" Lyra asked.
"Yes," Wallace said.
"I think I can help you with that, Wallace," Hikaru said, walking up to the former Gym Leader.
"You sure you wanna do that, Hikaru?" Sora asked.
"I'm sure. Besides, you're better Keyblade wielders than I thought, and I can see why Rei has chosen you as her apprentices," Hikaru said.
"Well, I hope we see each other again," Kairi said.
"I do, too, Kairi," Hikaru said.
With that said, everyone went back to Mossdeep City and they headed back to Steven's house where Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Max, and the four Pikachu were waiting. They said their goodbyes to Wallace and Hikaru as they left for Mount Pyre to return the orbs and Steven went back to his pursuit of rare and unusual stones as Looker has returned to international police hq, and this is where we're going to end it for now.
