Weeks have passed in the Sinnoh Region since the epic battle between the rangers, Ferro Fett, Gircannon and the Violet Energy Crystal, which bonded with Jo Holliday of the Poké Rangers Dino Charge team. Sinnoh was in the process of being repaired in some cities, seeing how things were going. It was just a beautiful day to do things. For Grayson Himura, he was having a great time, not thinking about what was going on. He was sitting down, wearing jeans, white sneakers and a green T-shirt with a white and brown plaid shirt. He was holding hands with a girl around his age. She had blue wavy hair tied in a ponytail with green eyes as she wore a blue t-shirt with black jeans and white sneakers. As they were walking down the stairs, heading to the deep woods, Grayson grinned as he noticed the white picket fence next to him. Dashing through the opening, his girlfriend, Laguna followed as they sat on the bench. Grayson grinned as he sat down, grabbing Laguna by the shoulders. Laguna landed on top of him as Grayson chuckled.
"Grayson, you've never been this romantic. For someone so stern and serious…," she said.
"Well, Laguna, I want to make up for lost time," said Grayson, "I haven't seen you in weeks, months… being a ranger takes a lot out of you."
Laguna pushed his face with his finger, "Well, for someone that is so dedicated to his swordsmanship, you definitely have time for being a romantic."
"I always make up the time," said Grayson, grinning as he went to kiss. As Laguna and Grayson went into a kiss, Grayson grinned as he released the kiss. Looking at her face, he froze as he saw something different… Maracturne's face was glistening with gleam, "I didn't know you were a good kisser."
"AHHHHHHHHH!"
Grayson jolted up from his bed. Looking up, he turned around as his Feraligatr woke up, barging into the room, looking around. Opening his mouth, a flood of water appeared, soaking Grayson's bed sheets. Grayson looked over as Feraligatr looked surprised. Grayson shook his head as he got up from the bed, soaked in sheets, "It was just a dream… thank Arceus it was a dream."

Chapter 27: Nightmare in Oreburgh City
The smells of beautiful aroma tickled Drake's nostrils as he woke up slowly from his slumber. Drake scanned the area as he looked up, seeing Lisa walking over with two palm trees on either side. She turned around as she grabbed a few lights as she was getting them together. Her Scyther was flying across, holding the light with the top of his blades. She grabbed a ladder and started swinging them around the poles. She was trying to make Dino Paradise a beach themed type of thing for Drake. Drake was appreciative as he was walking toward her, amazed at what was going on.
"I really enjoy what you are doing to this place, Lisa," said Drake, "You definitely are reminding me of what it is like to be at home."
"Well… you never had a birthday or a special event, so I figured I do something to appreciate all the things you did for us," said Lisa, "And because we haven't seen any attacks lately, I actually had time to plan it out without any interruptions. Ain't that right, Scyther?"
"Scyther!" the Pokémon nodded happily.
"See? Even Scyther agrees," said Lisa, as she went to finish the décor. A flash of green light appeared at the entrance as Grayson walked down the stairs. He had his hair somewhat dried as he had 32 ounces of coffee in hand. Lisa was surprised, knowing that Grayson was not a coffee drinker. As he pulled up a chair, he looked up as Lisa turned to see him. She looked a little concerned.
"What is with you today?" asked Lisa, crossing her arms as she was looking at Grayson. Grayson's eyes were somewhat red and dried as he looked up to see her, "I am getting literally four hours of sleep the past three days."
"Have you been texting Laguna… or having phone calls until the late hours? You are more disciplined than that," said Lisa.
Grayson narrowed his eyes, "Laguna knows I go to bed at a decent time."
"Then, what are you doing so late at night?" asked Lisa.
Grayson took a deep breath, "Seeing Maracturne in my dreams and then I don't want to go back to sleep."
"Wait… Maracturne is in your dreams?" asked Lisa, confused.
Grayson nodded, "I went to bed around 10 last night and I was having this dream of romance with Laguna… went to this beautiful garden and when I was having my dream, I was kissing her… and then I released the kiss to see Maracturne's face attached to her body."
"Ugh… I would puke," said Lisa, looking at Grayson, "Why him?"
"I don't know… maybe because we haven't fought them in so long that maybe my subconscious is still fighting them?" asked Grayson.
"Could be," said Lisa, sitting across the table, "I mean we haven't seen any of them in a while. Apparently, Jo told me that even their ship disappeared."
"Ferro Fett's ship is gone?" Grayson asked, "Giratron… gone?"
Lisa nodded as she turned to him. Grayson sighed as he looked at his coffee, "Then, maybe it was a dream after all."
"You mean a dream with Maracturne?"
Lisa and Grayson turned to see Leona, Atticus and Joe walked over. All three of them looked half asleep as she turned to each of them. Leona sighed as she turned to Lisa, "How was Kanto?"
"It was great. I had a chance to go visit Erika with all of the time off we had not fighting. I actually took a chance on that, hoping we didn't have an issue here," Lisa responded, "I also had a chance to bring in the aromas so we can restock and now I got Johto Essences to sell… Erika said if things somewhat quiet down, we can open a Sinnoh location in Floaroma Town."
"That is so awesome!" Leona said, yawning, "I can't wait for it."
"Me too," Lisa responded, "But, it looks like the four of you look zombified."
"Maracturne…" said Joe, "I had a dream Maracturne made a deal with Archie at the ranch."
Atticus turned to him, "You think that is bad… I've had dreams where Maracturne was my opponent in the Elite Four… for the third day in the row."
"I had a dream about Maracturne being here again… this time hanging and sitting with Drake," said Leona, rolling her eyes.
Lisa and Drake looked at each other as they turned back to the others. Lisa stepped forward as she went to speak to the rangers, "So, how long have you had these dreams?"
"Honestly… three consecutive days," Grayson said.
"Me too," said Joe.
"I think we all did but Lisa….," said Leona, turning to Lisa. Lisa nodded slowly, "And that's what I am worried about."
"You mean it's connected?" asked Atticus.
Lisa nodded as she turned around to see them. She looked at Drake as she went to speak, "I mean, I could be wrong because we all probably are waiting for a fight with Ferro Fett and Gircannon's crew but the fact you all had similar dreams make me wonder if they are attacking."
"That's speculation," Atticus responded, "But, I think you could be right."
No sooner Drake went to speak, the alarm was sounding at Dino Paradise. Lisa rolled her eyes as she turned to Drake. Drake slowly nodded as Lisa turned to the others, "Let's go team. Scyther, stay!"
Scyther drooped his head as the others teleported out of Dino Paradise with the Fossil Blasters. Pulling the trigger, red, blue, green, black and pink energy surrounded them as they disappeared to the troubled location.
Meanwhile, in Oreburgh City…
A group of Mooks were running around the ally, screaming as they were starting another attack. People were running away from the scene as tons of Mooks were heading toward them. As the Mooks reached another corner, pink blasts of energy struck them as Lisa arrived on her Cyclizar. As she hopped off the Cyclizar, she turned around as she kicked the Mooks. Using a spinning hook kick, the Mooks landed on the ground. As she turned around, she noticed her fellow comrades, half asleep, but able to face them. As they landed on the ground, Leona and the others met up with Lisa. As Lisa went to continue, she then saw someone else head toward the rest of the Mooks. Mack was slashing each one as he continued to strike.
"I have had it with the Mooks!" shouted Mack. He was a little enraged as he headed toward the others. Lisa turned as she went to speak, "What is going on?"
He looked over as he noticed that Lisa's eyes were bright. Lisa noticed his eyes were red, "My eyes… I am tired… overtired."
Immediately, Mack crashed his body on top of Lisa as she landed on the ground. Lisa tried to get him off, but Mack was out sleeping. The other rangers tried to wake him up. Grayson tried to get him up, Joe tried to get him up by pulling his legs. Instead, Mack was dragged and landed on the ground. Atticus tried to wake him up, but no progress. Leona turned around as she went to speak to them.
"What is up with him?" asked Leona, "Mack, wake up!"
Mack was snoring away… into a deep sleep.
Meanwhile…
Mack was walking around on a ship. It was a ship that was white with gold designs and black flags. He grinned as he was wearing a brown shirt with black pants. He had his Gold Amber on his back with a green and white bandana. He snickered as he turned around to look at the ocean, "Ah, this beats being in the kingdom. Being a captain of my own ship…"
He turned around as he walked over to the captain's quarters. His crew were swabbing the decks. He turned around as he went to open the doors. As he opened the door, he looked inside as he went toward his desk. As he did, he noticed the chair was facing the window. He turned around as he looked at it.
"My quarters is for me only…. Who dares to be here?"
"Me!"
Mack turned around as Maracturne appeared with his rope. Mack grabbed the rope and pulled it, grabbing Maracturne by the neck. Maracturne squirmed as the chair turned around. Throwing him, Maracturne screamed as he smacked into a creature. He was a pink humanoid Musharma with a Sandygast face. The top of his head had a pink nightcap. Mack slashed him in the face, causing a field of white to appear…
Outside… a pink aura surrounded Mack as two beams of light appeared. Maracturne fell as he faceplanted on the concrete with the monster on the ground. Mack slowly got up as he pointed to his saber, "Found it."
"What the heck?" asked Lisa, "This is what I was missing while I was in Kanto?"
"So much for attacking without attacking…," Maracturne said, looking at them, "Well, nice to see you. Sucks we have to blow things up again."
"We were just getting used to not having you around," Leona said, "Now, get lost!"
"Yeah… and stay out of our dreams!" said Grayson, wiping his lips. Maracturne laughed as he was looking at the green ranger, "Oh, you will see me more often. Oh… Master Sandman!"
Master Sandman laughed as he stretched out his hand. A pink aura surrounded his right hand as he had a stack of six pillows, "You all need Master's Sandman's… MyPillow… with silky dream sheet covering… attack!"
Six pink pillows struck the rangers. The pillows flipped with a white heart on them. The rangers tried to strike them, only for the pillows to catch their faces. The rangers struggled as they landed on the ground. Lisa caught one as she went to struggle. As she did, the pillow released a pink smog. Coughing, Lisa turned around as she noticed that all she saw was Maracturnes. One went toward her, "Are you okay?"
"Get out of my face!" she shouted, smacking him.
In reality, Lisa smacked Mack across the face. Mack spun around as he landed on the ground. He looked up as Lisa went to kick him. As Lisa went to strike, Grayson and Mack held her back. Lisa turned around as she looked, noticing each one of them, "Why is there so many Maracturnes?"
"Hee hee," Maracturne said, "This is where we run!"
Before Leona could say anything, Maracturne pressed a button as a green aura surrounded them, causing a disappearance. As the struggle increased, Joe turned around as he took out a magenta charger, "Never thought I had to use this…"
"What are you doing?" asked Atticus.
"Dream Eater, energize!"
Pressing the button, psychic energy filled it as he placed it in the Fossil Blaster. Spinning it, he aimed for Lisa as he pulled the trigger. A pink beam struck as Lisa was caught. The energy drained her from the hypnosis as she snapped out of it. Lisa turned to see the Maracturnes disappear into her friends. Lisa stood there in surprise as she looked at them, "What the-?"
"Don't worry," said Leona, looking at Lisa, "It was just a dream."
Lisa shook her head, "Well, now I know what you went through."
Joe turned around as he looked at the others, "Well, all I know is that we need to find a way to keep awake until we destroy that monster."
"But, how?" asked Atticus.
"Let's head to Oreburgh Museum… I am sure if we can put our heads together, we can figure it out," said Lisa.
"Seriously, work?" asked Joe.
"Do you have any other bright ideas?" asked Lisa.
"Yeah, get Jo, Thomas and Kyland to help," said Joe, crossing his arms.
Lisa sighed as she looked at the black ranger, "I regret to inform you, but Kyland, Jo and Thomas went to Hoenn to meet with some of the Hoenn Rangers. They are working on something for us as a thank you gift for stopping Gircannon to a point."
"And I didn't get an invitation?" Joe asked, sighing, "But, I knew them long before Jo."
Lisa sighed as she turned around, "You went to the ranch… duh."
Later that day…
Oreburgh Museum was closed for the day as the rangers walked toward the museum. As Lisa led the way, Joe turned to her as the pink ranger grabbed her keys. She already told Roark to disarm the alarm as they got to the front entrance. Joe grabbed her by the shirt, yawning in response.
"Lisa, are you sure this is the right idea?" asked Joe, "Wouldn't it be easier to ask Jo?"
"Well, unless you can find a way to keep awake…," said Lisa.
Joe turned around as he watched Lisa open the door. Joe turned around as the other rangers started to slump. Joe walked over as he started shaking them one at a time, "Do not fall asleep!"
"Then… I need coffee," said Grayson, yawning, "Or something."
Atticus turned around as he looked at them, "I have a better idea."
"What idea?" asked Lisa.
Atticus went to start stretching as he turned to the others, "I'm going to go for a run."
"A run?" asked Leona, looking at Atticus, "Seriously?"
"I would rather get a good workout in than get a cup… besides, running keeps your metabolism at work," said Atticus.
Leona shook her head as she yawned. Atticus grinned as he patted her on the shoulder and then started running the opposite direction. The team turned to see Atticus heading away from the museum. Mack turned around as he looked at him, "Well… in this case, I have an idea."
"Idea?" asked Leona.
"Come out, Squirtle, Monferno!" shouted Mack.
As his Poké Balls were released, Monferno and Squirtle were unleashed as they landed on the ground. As the two looked at Mack, Mack started yawning, "Tackle me!"
"You can't be serious!" shouted Joe.
Immediately, Monferno and Squirtle jumped up. Squirtle threw his body into Mack's stomach. As Mack yelped, Monferno scratched him lightly, waking his nerves and shocking his body. Lisa sighed as she walked inside, heading toward the food court. Each ranger, with the exception of Lisa, was slumping as they arrived down the hall, heading to the area.
"Hey, Lisa.. what are you thinking of making?" asked Grayson.
Lisa grinned as she headed to the kitchen, "Wait and see, just don't fall asleep."
"That's going to be a challenge," said Leona, looking at Joe. Joe grinned as he went to reach his Poké Ball. Mack, who was behind them, walked inside as he noticed a Zebstrika in the middle. Zebstrika turned around as Joe turned around, "Thunderbolt us every 5 minutes…"
"What?" asked Leona, standing in shock.
"You're crazy," said Grayson.
Zebstrika scoffed as he looked at Joe. Joe grinned as he looked at him, "I'll be okay. Just do it."
Zebstrika nodded slowly as yellow sparks surrounded its bolt like horn. Yellow electric currents surrounded the rangers as they were filled with electric energy. Once the bolt disappeared, Joe spun around as he set his watch, "5 minutes… starts now."
Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Lisa went to grab a plastic blender. As she went to grab a few fruits from the container, she went to slice them up as quickly as possible. Stopping midway, she had a better idea. Before grabbing the knife, which was located on the table, she took out Scyther's Poké Ball. Scyther was unleashed as she grabbed a few fruits.
"Dice them up!"
Scyther nodded as he slashed almost every single fruit, from an Oran Berry to a Tomato Berry. Lisa had a good combination of dry, spicy, and sweet fruits that she had. As she went to blend, she turned around as she grabbed a gallon of almond milk from the fridge. As she was continuing her recipe, the screams of her friends being shocked by Zebstrika kept only getting repetitive. She then reached for one of the shelves. She knew she had something to waken them up. Picking up a pink fruity energy jar that had the label "Fuchsia Sensations", she knew using this aroma from the Kanto Region would give her energy. She remembered seeing her cousin Erika and her colleagues, Koga and Janine, create it together using some of the poison-type Pokémon to create an energizer that could help poison-type Pokémon regain energy. As she poured two full cups, she placed the lid on the cover. Before she pressed the button, she saw another hand on top. Lisa looked up as she noticed someone familiar.
"Laguna?"
Laguna grinned as she turned to her, "Yep, it's me."
"Now's really not the time…" said Lisa, "But, how did you-?"
"I snuck in the back…," said Laguna, "I knew something was off with Grayson. And then, I saw the news of that sleepy monster. I figured I could help."
"Well, your boyfriend is about to fall asleep if I don't do something soon," said Lisa, raising an eyebrow.
"Well, that's why I am here. Grayson told me you sell aromatherapy. Well, here is something from the Feraligatr Clan…" she said, walking over to the blender. She had two small glass containers with blue liquid, "This is an energizer that enhances stamina. It could work with what you have here."
Pouring the glasses, Laguna emptied them. She placed the black top on the plastic blender. Lisa nodded as she turned the switch. As everything blended, Lisa found six glasses and placed them on the table. Once the blending was done, she poured each substance into the glasses. Immediately, with help, she was also able to clean the kitchen while she heard yet another shock outside. She grabbed a blue tray with the glasses as both went outside.
Joe turned around as he was somewhat burnt from the shock. Grayson and Leona were also struck with energy. Mack looked at the two of them as he rolled his eyes, "I don't think I can handle another shock."
"Well, you don't need to."
Grayson looked up as he noticed a familiar voice. Laguna and Lisa walked over with a tray of glasses. Placing them on the table, Lisa served the glasses, leaving one for Atticus. As each ranger began to take a sip, Mack turned around as he looked at her, "What is this supposed to do?"
"This will increase your stamina and awareness for a good 24 hours. Just enough time to put that sleepy creature in his place," said Lisa, "Thanks to Laguna."
"Laguna… you didn't use that secret formula, did you?" asked Grayson.
"I did," said Laguna, "But, it's worth everything to help you. You have a job to do. Where's Atticus?"
"Probably doing a run to keep his stamina…," said Leona, reaching for her Dino Com as she went to take a sip of the formula, "Roark, can you find Atticus's location?"
"I'm looking… it looks like Atticus headed to Route 207. I guess he wanted to do a run to get a few miles in…," said Roark.
"In that case," said Leona, "We may have something for him. We'll be there. Tell him not to head back."
Leona walked over as she turned to Lisa, "Were there any to-go cups?"
"Yeah, bottom shelf," said Lisa.
Leona nodded as she headed over to the back of the museum. Joe turned around as he went to pet Zebstrika, "Thanks for your help, Zeb."
Zebstrika nodded as he went to lick Joe, "After all the shocking you did?"
Zebstrika narrowed his eyes as he went to do another shock. Joe grinned as he put his hands up, "Just kidding."
As Leona returned with a white Styrofoam cup, she placed it on the table. She poured the liquid formula into the to-go cup and placed a lid on top. Laguna nodded as she turned to walk away, "Good luck!"
"Thanks," said Grayson, grinning, "I'll see you later?"
"You better," she said, eyeing him as she walked away. Grayson grinned as he turned around, looking at Joe and Mack. The two of them shook their heads as the green ranger had a sly grin on his face. Grayson managed to get on the floor with his feet as he turned to the others, "Shall we go find Atticus?"
"Yes," said Leona.
As the five of them started walking, Lisa turned around as she looked at Joe. Joe turned around as he looked at her, "We should've went to Hoenn on vacation."
"You just want to go hang out with your Hoenn friends," said Lisa, looking at Joe, "Let's be real."
Joe raised an eyebrow, "Part of it."
"Or you want to hang out with the scientist…," said Mack, grinning as Joe turned around. Mack knew exactly how to trigger Joe. Joe's eyes narrowed as he punched him in the stomach, "You're lucky we're friends, bro."
Mack grinned, ignoring the punch as they headed out toward the exit.
Back on Route 206…
Atticus turned around as he wiped the sweat off his face. He was somewhat awake now that he did a three-mile run from Oreburgh City to the south end of Route 206. As he went to sit down, he looked up and saw his Dino Com glowing. He read into the communicator, learning there was a message from Roark. Based on what he read, he learned that the rangers may have found a temporary solution. As he leaned his back on the tree, he looked up to hear someone jumping for joy. He knew exactly where that sound was coming from. He turned around, noticing a familiar face and Master Sandman. Atticus stood up as Maracturne arrived.
"Did you miss me?" asked Maracturne.
"Not really. You were annoying… literally," said Atticus, raising an eyebrow.
"Well, someone's insensitive. Guess you need a Sandman MyPillow… shall we?" asked Maracturne.
Master Sandman grinned as he took out his pink fluffy pillow, "Sweet Dreams!"
As he threw the pillow at Atticus, Atticus reached for his left pocket to take out his Fossil Blaster. Withdrawing it, he pulled the trigger. As a blue beam of energy pierced the pillow, a green line of energy slashed it in half. Atticus turned to his right as Grayson landed in front of him.
"I could've managed," said Atticus, looking at Grayson.
"Just playing it safe," said Grayson, grinning, "But, we have something for you."
Atticus turned around as Leona and the others headed toward him. Leona headed over as Atticus turned toward her. She grinned as she released the lid, "Drink this."
"What is it?" asked Atticus.
"It's a Stamina Enhancer… made by Lisa and Laguna. Trust me, it works…," said Grayson.
Atticus nodded as he chugged the whole thing down. Within seconds, Atticus began to feel a little energized. He turned around as he looked at Master Sandman, who threw out six pillows. Each ranger took out their Fossil Saber, slashing them. Maracturne turned around as he looked at the creature. Leona stepped forward as she grabbed her Fossil Saber, "You are going to have to do better than that."
"Damn it… the point was to tire you out for the time being…," said Maracturne.
"Thanks for the plan," said Atticus, "You need a better one."
Lisa turned around as she looked at Maracturne. Maracturne turned to her, "You don't look tired!"
"That's because I was in a different region. The others are in a different region. You were so dumb enough to attack us, that you never really thought outside the box. Looks like you need to do your research. Let's Poké Battle!" Lisa responded.
The six rangers nodded as they grabbed their Fossil Chargers, "Fossil Charger, Energize!"
Meanwhile, in the Hoenn Region…
Jo, Kyland and Thomas were sitting around as they were looking at a refurbished underground basement. The basement was gold with a white floor with some prehistoric footprint on the bottom with screens all over the wall that have been turned off. Thomas turned around as he noticed the colorful fossils that were somewhat plugged into an energy channel: Red, Blue, Yellow, Black and Platinum with a port for a White Gem, which from what they learned was destroyed years ago. Thomas walked over as he looked at a picture frame, noticing the team. He grinned as he looked at the others, "Who knew there would be a Prehistoric Pokémon team before us?"
"Well," Kyland said, "It's nice to know that most are still around."
"True," said Jo, grinning, "I am glad we are able to make connections."
"So, why are we actually here?" asked Thomas, "Not for a history vacation."
"No…," said Jo, "I know a technician who could help increase our forces and I figured if we borrowed some Pre-Earth power to a new charger that I wanted to construct, we can give some power to it. Granted, only one can use it."
"Oh… so Leona," said Thomas, raising an eyebrow.
Jo rolled her eyes, "Yes, her."
As the door opened, there were three people that walked into the center. One had red-rusted hair at the tips with hazel eyes. He had a black t-shirt with a black jacket over it with blue jeans and white shoes. Next to him, there was another man who had black hair that was designed in a crew cut unlike the frohawk he had years ago with a tan-skin complexion. He had a red dress-shirt with a black tie and khaki pants with brown shoes. His black eyes were glistening with the light as he looked at Jo and the others. Turning to his right, there was another guy who had his glasses up to his face. He was dark-skinned, with brown eyes and very short hair. He had a blue polo shirt with blue jeans and white sneakers.
"Hello, gentlemen," Jo said, "I'm glad Sean sent me to the right people."
"The pleasure is all ours," the man in black said, "My name is Danny. Danny Dragonfly, I am sure you have heard of me."
"Yeah, the man of many ranger colors. Red, Green and Black?" asked Kyland.
The man in red shook his head as he looked at Danny, "Wow. He is a spitfire… compared to me."
"Spitfire…?" asked Kyland.
"Yeah…," the man in red said, "The name's Alex. Alex Jenkovich, I am the Red Dino Thunder Ranger."
"My name's JT," the man in blue responded, "I'm the tech guy of the crew. I am the Blue Dino Thunder Ranger."
Thomas looked at the photo and then at them, "How does it feel to be a little old?"
JT and Alex looked at each other and then at Thomas. Thomas grinned as Jo looked at both, "I should've brought the others. Forgive them, they like to be snarky. I heard you had something for us?"
Danny nodded as he turned to Alex. Alex grinned as he reached into his pocket. Opening his hand, Jo examined a charger capsule she sent over. It was a red charger with a white label on it that said 1 with a plus symbol. Alex looked at her as he went to examine it, "When used correctly, the red ranger should be able to use its new power. It's a little similar to what I had, but it is very different in terms of enhancing things. Just make sure your rangers are aware."
Jo nodded as she turned to him, "Thank you, Alex. I am so sorry that I took time out of your day when you should be teaching at the university."
"The pleasure is all mine," said Alex, "Besides, I miss saving the world. Even though, I was a hot mess back then, it was nice to actually use the fossils to defeat evil. It's been so quiet since what happened last year with that weird robot."
"I think we were all hot messes. Three college students who were partying around, saving the world… and trying to study… Danny and Amii weren't married yet," said JT.
"We were engaged near the end," said Danny, raising a finger, "Also, we didn't have any kids yet either."
The red ranger shook his head as he turned around to the others, "See what we had to deal with… and there were six of us."
"You only met a third of us…," said Kyland, "Just saying."
Danny froze as he heard Kyland's comment. He then turned around as he went to speak, "There's nine of you?"
"Eventually, ten of us…," said Jo, looking at the others, "That is once, we find the tenth crystal."
"Wow… well, we appreciate you holding the fort down in Sinnoh," said Danny, "I'm sure you probably have to go."
Alex turned around as he looked at them, "They don't have to go… I would like to learn more about this new power."
Jo crossed her arms as she turned to him, "Maybe another time. But, your mentor is right. Even though we stalled them, they could be attacking now."
Suddenly, there was a loud beeping noise on their Dino Com smartwatches. Jo sighed as she turned to them as she pressed the button, "Yeah?"
"Hey… it looks like Maracturne almost put your friends to sleep. When are you heading back?" asked Roark.
"Simple. Now," said Jo, turning off the Dino Com. Kyland and Thomas nodded as they started heading back up the stairs, "Thank you so much for your help."
Danny nodded, "The pleasure is ours."
As the three rangers headed up the white stairs, Kyland was the last one to leave as the door closed. Alex walked over as he looked at the screens. He sank in the chair as he looked over at them. JT turned around as he looked at him, "You seem… concerned."
"Maybe," said Alex, looking at JT, "I mean, it's been almost ten years since we last fought the Dinvoliens and even so, I wish we were fighting these guys in Sinnoh now. Actually, I wish I could meet their leader."
"Why?" asked Danny.
"Because I'm worried that the Tyrantrum Energy from my DNA could cause complications with the energy crystal from the fossil… we haven't tested it with Leona. And that's what worries me," said Alex.
"Are you trying to tell me that we may have overlooked something?" asked JT.
"Probably," said Alex, getting up from the chair, "I'm heading over there."
JT grabbed him by the arm. Alex turned around as he looked at Danny. Danny raised an eyebrow as he looked at Alex, "Alex, I need to let you know a few things."
Alex said nothing as Danny continued, "Remember that we are just helping them. They have to fight their own battle."
"I know that," he said.
"But…," said Danny, "You are no longer a ranger… you are now retired. That means you have responsibilities outside of being a ranger. That includes teaching your new college students on Pokémon Biology."
"True," said Alex, looking at him, "But, I just have a strong feeling about it. I am taking a few personal days."
He headed over toward the fossils. With JT's help, they were able to increase the energy flow of these fossils for more unlimited morphs. As Alex grabbed the red Jaw Fossil, a red aura surrounded his left wrist as a silver bracelet appeared with a red gem. Walking over to the exit, Danny shook his head as he turned to JT. JT sighed as he looked at him, "One thing I've learned about Alex… you could never change him."
"True," said Danny, "Well… that's going to be fun at our faculty meeting tomorrow."
"Your faculty meeting," said JT, "I still have to finish cleaning up the mess Gircannon made in Hoenn."
The two rangers turned to the opposite direction, leaving their hideout empty.
Back in Sinnoh…
The rangers, now morphed, struck the rest of the pillows and pulled the trigger of their Fossil Blasters, striking Master Sandman. Mack jumped up with his Golden Amber Saber, slashing the creature down. Mack turned around as he looked at the rangers, "Now, team!"
"Dino Spiker, Engage!"
Pressing the button, a blue charger surrounded it as Joe threw it in the air. The weapons were thrown up in the air as well. The Tyrantrum Fang stood as the base. The Carracosta Shield was placed on top of the Tyrantrum Fang. The Armaldo Claw and Kabutos Slasher connected to either side of the blaster. The Basitodon Drill connected to the end. The Dino Spiker charger went inside the front of the blaster. A golden energy surge surrounded it as Leona grabbed it. Leona climbed up on top of the other rangers as she stretched out the weapon, "Dino Spiker, Horn Drill!"
As the spiker was thrown, it turned into a horn as it started spinning. Tyrantrum, Armaldo, Carracosta, Kabutops and Bastiodon emerged out as it pierced the armor. The drill went straight through the armor and through his body. Master Sandman screamed as he fell on the ground, exploding into pieces. The Dino Spiker began to glow as it separated, transforming back into their weapons.
Maracturne sighed as he looked at the others, "That's what I need right now… Magna Beam!"
He reached for his smartwatch and pressed the correct applications. A green beam of energy struck the corpse as Master Sandman grew ten times bigger. Master Sandman growled as the rangers turned to each other.
"I think we can all defeat this creature without the Megazord," said Leona, "Let's do it! Tyrantrum…"
"Armaldo…"
"Carracosta…"
"Kabutops…"
"Basitodon…"
"Aerodactyl…"
"I Choose You!"
Releasing the six chargers, the zords appeared and headed straight toward Master Sandman. Master Sandman grinned as he grabbed six pink balls of energy. Throwing them, the balls enlarged, transforming into memory foam. The memory foam wrapped around each zord as they were caught in a bind. Pink memory foam crushed each zord as Master Sandman jumped up and down.
"Hahaha!" shouted Master Sandman, "Look at my beautiful memory foam!"
"Yes!" shouted Maracturne.
Master Sandman snapped his fingers as the energy began to drain from each of them. Master Sandman began to grin as a red aura surrounded him, absorbing the energy from the zords. The rangers turned around as they looked at each other.
"This is bad," said Mack, "What do we do?"
"We need the others," said Leona. Before she went to call them, violet beams struck Master Sandman. The rangers turned around as the Rocket Megazord swooped down, slashing the memory foam. The zords were free as the Rocket Megazord landed on the ground.
"About time!" shouted Grayson.
"Sorry… we're taking our time," said Jo, turning to the others, "Now… are we going to defeat this guy?"
"Sure!" said Leona. Leona turned to Grayson and Atticus as the two rangers nodded in agreement, "Tri-Fossil Fusion!"
Immediately, Tyrantrum opened its mouth. Blue and green energy surrounded Kabutops and Carracosta as Tyrantrum ingested the energy. A red aura surrounded the Tyrantrum as the legs began to rise higher, seeing robotic feet. The Tyrantrum Zord roared as the upper body rotated, leaving the tail to be the left side and the head of the zord on the right. The Carracosta and Kabutops jumped up. Carracosta shrunk its head, arms, legs into the shell. The tail transformed into the right hand of the Megazord. The Kabutops Zord jumped up in the air. Folding its legs and stretching its blade like arms, it connected to the left side of the Megazord. A human head popped out of the body. It was a silver head with a red helmet that looked like a Tyrantrum helmet. Green eyes glowed as it started jumping.
"Dino Slasher Megazord, Battle Ready!"
"Sounds better than warrior mode…," said Grayson, turning to the others. The five rangers nodded as they stood ready to fight. Mack was already in the Aerodactyl Zord, flying across.
"Aerodynamic Change! Aero Amber Megazord!"
The Aerodactyl screamed as it swooped down. A golden aura surrounded the zord as it landed on the ground. The legs went from being bent to straight as the body was lifted. The wings folded into either side of its body as the body was now standing as a human body. The hands detached from the wings as golden arms grew out. The hands connected to the body as the head moved down to the chest. A human head appeared with a silver and black helmet that had an Amber Fossil on top. The head had green eyes.
"Aero Amber Megazord, Battle Ready!"
Master Sandman gulped as he noticed the three Megazords over him. He turned around as he looked at them, "Hey, how about a pillow?"
"Thanks, but you will need more than a pillow!" said Leona.
The Kabutops arm of the Dino Slasher Megazord cut into Master Sandman. Master Sandman spun around as the Rocket Megazord slammed its arm into his face. The Aero Amber Megazord released a golden beam of energy, electrocuting the creature. As the creature started to stumble, the Armaldo and Bastiodon Zord knocked it down. As the creature landed on the ground, Master Sandman looked up as he started to stumble.
"I think at this point… why even use the finisher?" asked Leona, "Shall we, gentlemen?"
"Gladly," said Atticus and Grayson, grabbing their Fossil Sabers.
"Dino Charge Kabutops Saber!" shouted Grayson.
Immediately, a green aura surrounded the left arm of the Dino Slasher Megazord. Looking at it, the Dino Slasher Megazord jumped forward as it slashed the creature back and forth. As it spun around, the Megazord then went to finish the job.
"Fossil Strike!"
A green-emerald line struck Master Sandman down as he screamed. Explosions surrounded him as he fell to his knees.
"Alright!" shouted the rangers.
Back in Dino Paradise…
The rangers arrived as they relinquished their crystals. Jo, Kyland and Thomas grinned as they were heading toward the six rangers. From what they saw, they all looked very tired. Lisa filled them in on what happened while they were gone. Jo nodded as she heard all of what was happening, "Well, I'm glad you were able to figure it out. You could've called."
"I know… but what you were doing was important," said Lisa, "Was it successful?"
"Yeah," said Jo, yawning, "But, I will have to talk to you about it tomorrow. I think we are tired on both ends."
"Agreed," said Lisa, turning to see Drake. Before she could say anything, Drake was already asleep. Roark, who was there for hours, turned to her as he walked over, "Even people like him need sleep. He slept all day and doesn't know."
"Good," said Leona, turning around, "Well, I know I need sleep."
"Yeah," said Grayson, "Laguna really helped, but I need to take a snooze."
"Same," Atticus said, looking at the team, "It was a pleasure."
Joe and Mack said nothing as they also agreed. The five of them headed over toward the exit with their Fossil Blasters. Shooting the floor, flashes of energy surrounded them as they disappeared. Turning across, Lisa turned around as Jo grinned. Jo reached into her pocket to show her, "Wow!"
"Yeah… but now is probably not a good time. Do you want to dinner?" asked Jo.
"Of course!" said Lisa, "I could use some catching up."
Kyland and Thomas agreed as the four started to walk away. Roark looked up as he turned to them, "Wait, I'll go with you!"
Back in Hoenn…
Alex was living in an apartment not too far from Slateport City. As he grabbed his black and red backpack, he placed his grey laptop in the bag. He also had a black and red book that he brought with him for study. He was now dressed in something different. He wore blue jeans and red and black sneakers. He had a red and black t-shirt that was sung around his body. He was a little more built than he was when he was in college. Part of it was because of the training. He then turned around as he looked at his bracelet. Stretching it out, a red aura surrounded it as a Tyrantrum-like head appeared on the bracelet.
"It still works…," he said, grinning.
Grabbing his backpack and overnight bag, he walked over toward the door. Grabbing his keys, he opened the door and closed it. As he turned around, he reached for his pocket, picking up his phone. Texting someone familiar, he was heading to the elevator.
Meanwhile…
Grayson turned around as he opened the door to his apartment. As he did, he closed the door behind him as he knelt his head against the door. He was so tired, he looked outside. He looked both ways to learn that he was still dressed in his ranger uniform. He walked toward the living room as he crashed on the couch. As he went to open the Fossil Blaster to pull the charger out, his whole body went limp as he started falling asleep. His helmet landed on the table as he started to go into a deep sleep. As he was sleeping, there was abrupt knocking on the other side.
"Grayson, it's Laguna! Are you okay?"
Grayson continued sleeping as he was tossing and turning. The knocking continued, the snores got louder. Immediately, the door swung open as Laguna walked inside. Laguna froze as she watched Grayson, sleeping in his uniform knocked out. Laguna shook her head as she smiled, "You are insane… sweet dreams."
She walked over as she went to kiss him on the cheek. Laguna grinned as she walked over toward the exit, closing the door behind her.
Meanwhile…
Maracturne turned around as he was inside Ferro Fett's Ship. As he arrived at the bridge, he turned around as he saw Lionel. Lionel was sitting down as he was looking at the crystal. It was navy, shining brightly as he was looking at it. Lionel laughed as he turned to the others, "Gircannon did it."
"What is it?" asked Cremelia, curious.
"I can be Death Ranger again…," said Lionel. He then noticed a black and red blaster that was on the table. Turnchou turned around as he looked at him, "Is it possible?"
"Yes!" said Lionel, reaching for his charger, "Death Crystal, energize!"
A navy aura surrounded it as he pressed the crystal in the blaster. He pulled the trigger as a navy shockwave appeared. An aura surrounded him as his body transformed into the suit. The ranger wore the same ranger suit as the other rangers that were unlocked, except it was a navy suit. The ranger also carried a navy and yellow flute like saber, with the silver edge facing the villains. Stopping, his head was shaped like a Dracozolt.
"I am back! Now, I got power from Gircannon and this crystal!"
Laughing, he turned around as he looked at the other villains. As he turned around, he stopped talking as he looked at someone walking toward him.
"That's great Lionel. Gircannon would be pleased."
The lights revealed a new creature walking toward him. The villains froze as they noticed a Magmar monster with black gauntlets on his arms and legs. He had white armor on his chest with a white gun that had gold designs. His eyes were covered by sapphire sunglasses. He placed the gun behind his head.
"Who… who are you?" asked Turnchou, freaking out.
"The name's Demongun… Gircannon's Tri-Commander Task Force. That was why you were teleported here. We're here to help you."
The villains froze in response as Demongun grinned. Walking toward them, he stepped on the bridge as he sat down, laughing away.
Next Chapter…
A new warrior comes to town and he's out for blood against the rangers. It happens to be one of Gircannon's top warriors that was sent to help them. Jo decides it was time to use a specialized charger specifically for Leona. However, is Leona controlling the charger or is the charger controlling Leona? Find out!
Poké Rangers Dino Charge Chapter 28: Roar of the Red Ranger Part 1
A/N: So, like I said, we needed a little breather from all of this arc writing, but I look at it this way, at least we had a break. The next four chapters is actually a transition… so we will see how it goes. I also introduced some of the Dino Thunder team from Hoenn because I figured something new, something different, which would tie into it. Now, I realized I had Lionel as Death Ranger again... I don't think I used its power much... in the future drafts. I am going to have to read through and edit next week... the new year that is.
Also... since 2006, I have always asked readers to volunteer to submit monsters, rangers, etc. to keep the fanfics running (I see it as a tradition!). If you would like to submit another ranger, Sunday's the last day. I have only 5 responses... and no Pink or Green Ranger Submissions. I also need villains. You can submit them through Google Forms. If you can't access them and would like to, send a review or a DM and I will send you to the link you need to do it.
