Chapter 3: "Unveiling the Unseen: Naruto's Otherworldly Metamorphosis"
The moonlight cast a silvery glow over the room in the Chunin Tower where Naruto sat alone. He glanced around, noting the absence of his teammates, Sasuke and Sakura, who were presumably resting in their respective rooms. The serenity of the night allowed his thoughts to unfurl like a scroll, revealing the tangled web of emotions that had long been woven within him.
Naruto's gaze fixed on the window, where the dense forest beyond beckoned with shadows and mysteries. The rhythmic rustle of leaves and the distant hooting of an owl seemed to underscore the solitude that enveloped him. Leaning back, he allowed his mind to wander, tracing the echoes of his memories, reaching back to the earliest recollections of his life.
As he journeyed through his past, Naruto confronted the ghosts that haunted him—the laughter of the villagers, the disdainful glances, and the echoing loneliness that had been his constant companion. The cascade of memories led him to a profound realization that sent a chill down his spine. He was truly alone.
He clenched his fists, the pain of his solitude settling like a weight on his shoulders. Despite the bonds he had formed with Iruka-sensei and his teammates in Team 7, Naruto recognized the gnawing ache that persisted within him. The festering wounds of hatred and rage, long buried beneath a facade of cheerfulness, clawed their way back to the surface.
His previous self had yearned for acceptance, for the acknowledgement of his existence, yet Naruto now saw the folly in his optimistic outlook. The world had never embraced him; instead, it had trampled on him, treating him as an outcast, a mere vessel for the Nine-Tails' chakra. The bitterness welled within him, a cauldron of emotions that threatened to overflow.
As Naruto delved into the depths of self-discovery, his analytical mind turned to the source of his strength—the Kyuubi, the Nine-Tails which was sealed within him since birth. Reluctantly, he acknowledged the crimson beast, a reluctant ally whose chakra coursed through his veins. Naruto traced the patterns of the chakra, sensing its essence that could discern yin and yang chakra.
"Thanks, Nine Tails," Naruto muttered, a grudging acknowledgement to the beast who was within. "For allowing me to inherit your essence of chakra and abilities."
The moonlit room bore witness to Naruto's metamorphosis—from a boy driven by the desire for acceptance to a man fueled by his own ambitions. He rose from his seated position, a subtle smirk gracing his lips, the contours of his face etched with newfound purpose.
With a fluid motion, Naruto positioned himself in the center of the room, his hands at his sides. The air around him seemed to shift as he took a deep breath, centering himself. "Let's see what I can do now."
Naruto's fingers danced through the air, forming the familiar seals for a basic transformation jutsu. As the chakra coursed through him, he felt a shift, a transformation that went beyond the physical alteration of appearance. His chakra danced like a river, effortlessly shaping and reshaping itself to match his intentions.
A low chuckle escaped Naruto's lips as he dispelled the transformation. "Hand signs? Who needs 'em?" He realized that after the fusion, chakra became a force that responded to his will with an innate understanding. It was as if the chakra had become an extension of his own thoughts, no longer bound by the rigid structure of hand signs.
Naruto's eyes gleamed with excitement as he contemplated the possibilities. "Chakra guides itself. It knows what I want before I even form the signs. This is so much better."
He turned his attention to another fundamental technique—substitution. With a thought, he envisioned a nearby kunai, and in an instant, his form blurred. The kunai now occupied the space where he once stood. Naruto examined the mechanics of this instinctive substitution, a sealless technique that allowed him to seamlessly replace himself with any object he truly desired.
"It's like an auto-subconscious escape technique for when it senses danger which cant be solved easily," Naruto mused, a grin playing on his lips. "As long as the chakras of both living beings move in a synchronized manner, I can substitute myself with living objects. Living or non living, it doesn't matter."
Naruto's experimentation continued as he explored the concept of a sealless transformation jutsu. He transformed into various objects, ensuring the technique held even when touched. "Sealless transformation. No giveaways, no flickers. Perfect."
The room seemed to pulse with energy as Naruto delved further into his abilities. His focus shifted to the creation of shadow clones, a technique he had mastered with proficiency. As he generated a clone, he observed a remarkable difference—the clone's chakra circulated with incredible speed, and its density far exceeded what Naruto had experienced before surprisingly the shadows clone function of transferring memories to the main body is realized.
"Huh, the chakra in this clone is on a whole other level," Naruto noted, a spark of realization igniting in his eyes. "Dense chakra, memory feedback ,rapid circulation. Maybe... they're more than just regular clones."
As Naruto continued to explore this newfound aspect of his shadow clones, a wave of excitement washed over him. The potential implications of memory transfer without dispelling the clone opened up a realm of possibilities. "If I can gather experiences and knowledge from my clones without dispelling them, it means I can learn and adapt at an unprecedented rate," he thought, his mind racing with the potential applications.
A grin spread across Naruto's face as he envisioned the limitless possibilities—creating clones to experiment with different jutsus, adapting strategies on the fly, and honing his skills without the limitations of time. "This changes everything. I can push my limits, refine my techniques, and maybe even create entirely new jutsus," he mused, the thrill of discovery fueling his eagerness to harness this untapped potential within the shadow clone technique.
The room pulsed with the energy of Naruto's newfound revelation. "Adapting and experimenting with jutsus, learning from each iteration without the need to dispel them—imagine the possibilities!" Naruto's eagerness reflected in the glint of his eyes.
With a curious expression, Naruto examined the clone closely. The heightened chakra density and rapid circulation hinted at untapped potential. "If I can control this better, maybe... genjutsu won't affect me like this version of a shadow clone. Their chakra is too dense for basic illusions."
Naruto pondered the implications of this discovery. The sealless shadow clones, with their enhanced chakra, could potentially resist genjutsu that relied on manipulating the flow of chakra. His mind buzzed with excitement at the prospect of rendering basic illusions ineffective against his clones.
His thoughts then drifted to the intricacies of genjutsu. "If it controls the five senses or relies on illusions with yin release chakra, it might work on this clone and myself. But anything less advanced... I don't even need to lift a finger."
His mind buzzed with newfound revelations and abilities. The fusion with the Kyuubi, his suppressed desires, the cursed seal and the seal used to seal nine tails had unleashed a cascade of changes within him, and Naruto was eager to explore the depths of his enhanced capabilities.
With a determined expression, Naruto decided to test his newfound strength.
Closing his eyes, Naruto visualized coating his fists in chakra and delivering a punch that could level mountains. He mimicked the process, infusing his fists with chakra as he had seen in his imagination. The energy surged through him, resonating with the potent chakra inherited from the Kyuubi.
Opening his eyes, Naruto directed the charged fist towards the unsuspecting tree. The impact was instantaneous, a shockwave echoing through the night as the tree splintered into separate pieces and crashed to the ground. A triumphant grin played on Naruto's lips as he marveled at the destructive force he had unleashed.
"Not bad, huh?" Naruto muttered to himself, excitement bubbling within. "Guess I've got a punch of my own now."
As he basked in the thrill of his newfound strength, another realization dawned upon him. His body felt different—stronger, more resilient. A warmth emanated from within, a testament to the passive healing ability he had inherited from the Kyuubi. The injuries sustained during the demonstration healed rapidly, leaving no trace behind.
Naruto marveled at this newfound regenerative power. "So this is what it feels like to heal fast. Thanks, Nine Tails."
Yet, the surprises didn't end there. As Naruto examined himself further, he sensed a subtle change in the composition of his body. Each cell, each fiber seemed to resonate with a newfound strength, as if imbued with chakra. It was a passive ability that had permanently hardened his body, especially the skin, making it more durable than ever before.
A sense of awe washed over Naruto. "Hardening my body? This is... incredible. I can feel the difference."
Eager to put this newfound resilience to the test, Naruto reached for a kunai strapped to his thigh. He drew the blade, and as it grazed his skin, a sharp scratching sound filled the air. The kunai, unable to pierce the hardened skin, emitted only a low-pitched screech against the barrier of Naruto's enhanced body.
Naruto's eyes widened in astonishment. "No way. It's like my skin is invincible now!"
His thoughts swirled with the possibilities of this newfound ability. He could withstand blows that would have once left him battered and bruised. The inherent toughness granted by the Kyuubi's chakra had fused with his own cells, creating a body that bordered on the supernatural.
The moonlight filtered through the leaves above, casting dappled patterns on the forest floor as Naruto pondered the extent of his enhancements. But the mysteries didn't end with physical prowess—Naruto's mind yearned to explore the depths of the metaphysical changes he had undergone.
Naruto, fueled by the surge of newfound power and ambition, decided to explore the depths of his own mind. He closed his eyes, focused on his inner self, and delved into the recesses of his consciousness, seeking the familiar realm of the mindscape.
To his surprise, the mindscape was not as he remembered it. Naruto found himself in a desolate expanse similar to a void whereas his previous self would come to a sewer and get in contact with 9 tails behind the gate.
He cautiously approached the gate, his blue eyes narrowing as he inspected the peculiar barrier before him. The gate seemed to radiate an otherworldly energy, and Naruto sensed a mysterious force at play. With a sense of trepidation, he reached out to touch the gate, and it swung open, revealing an eerie scene beyond.
The mindscape unfolded like a dark tapestry, revealing a vast expanse littered with skulls and bones. In the center, a throne stood atop a mound of remains, an unsettling symbol of authority amidst the macabre landscape. Naruto's eyes widened, his expression a mix of fascination and disbelief.{Sukuna's soulscape in Jujutsu Kaisen}
"Whoa, this is... different," Naruto muttered, the hint of awe in his voice. He approached the throne with a curious glint in his eyes. It felt both surreal and intoxicating to stand in the midst of this strange mindscape. Tentatively, he extended a hand and ran his fingers over the cold, imposing surface of the throne.
His mind whispered words of praise as he felt an unexpected surge of power and dominance. The barren landscape seemed to bend to his will, and Naruto couldn't help but revel in this newfound authority. A subtle grin crept across his face as he decided to take a seat on the ominous throne.
He hesitated for a moment before taking a seat. The sensation was bizarre, a mix of cold and unsettling, yet strangely empowering. Naruto couldn't help but let out a low chuckle, a hint of praise in his voice. "Well, well, looks like I've stumbled upon my own little kingdom. A king with no subjects."
As he sat upon the throne, a rush of exhilaration coursed through him. Naruto, the conqueror of his own mindscape, embraced this newfound thirst for blood and battle. The once empty and desolate space now felt alive with the echoes of his own ambitions.
Sitting upon the throne, Naruto felt an exhilarating rush, a sensation akin to a bloodthirsty conqueror reveling in the spoils of war. The juxtaposition of his once-nurturing mindscape now transformed into a dominion of bones and power was a stark realization of the changes that had taken place within him.
"Feels like I've unlocked a part of myself I never knew existed," Naruto mused, his voice carrying a note of satisfaction. "A thirst for blood and battle, a desire for conquest. It's like a primal force unleashed."
As Naruto marveled in the twisted beauty of his own mindscape, he felt a sense of freedom—a liberation from the constraints that had bound him for so long. The throne beneath him seemed to echo with the resonance of his newfound resolve, and the barren landscape became a canvas for the untamed spirit within him.
"Eat when I want to eat , play with what amuses me, kill whoever is on my path and if they can't accept it, then it's their problem."
The mindscape resonated with the echoes of his declaration, and Naruto, seated upon the throne of his own making, embraced the primal urges that surged within him. It was a revelation—a realization that strength could be a tool for liberation, a means to carve his own destiny.
But as quickly as the sensation came, Naruto felt the call to return to the tangible world. He stood from the throne, a lingering sense of power clinging to him. "This is just the beginning," he declared, his eyes reflecting the determination that had taken root within.
Yet, unbeknownst to Naruto, the mindscape held secrets he had yet to uncover. As he vanished from the mental realm, a cascade of seals and remnants of his own actions set forth a chain reaction behind the gates of his consciousness.
Deep within, the 8 Trigrams Seal infused by the Shinigami's essence, altered by the cursed mark and interwoven with the Five Element Seal, held an unexpected surprise. The fusion of these powerful seals had created a new configuration, and behind the gate, a sliver of souls lay dormant, ensnared by the amalgamation of seals.
In the concealed recesses of Naruto's inner world, remnants of Minato and Kushina's souls lingered, trapped behind the complex fusion of seals. Inactive and unaware, they existed in a state of suspended animation, remnants of their essence held captive by the unforeseen consequences of Naruto's transformation.
As Naruto returns from exploring his mindscape, the moon outside reached its zenith, bathing the room in a soft radiance. The air hummed with the energy of newfound revelations, and Naruto's eyes glinted with the fire of ambition.
He felt the power within him, a manifestation of the beast's might. Naruto's mind opened to the complexities of chakra, the delicate interplay of yin and yang. A newfound appreciation for the subtleties of this life force surged within him. The desire to delve into the mysteries of chakra, to understand its essence, ignited a flame within his eyes.
Being a Hokage, a mere village leader, now felt like a confining cage. Naruto's aspirations soared beyond the constraints of the ninja system. He envisioned himself as the best representative of true freedom, a shinobi unbound by the chains of tradition and societal expectations. The goal was no longer about achieving a title but becoming a force that transcended the system.
"I want to be the best," Naruto declared to the moonlit night, his voice carrying a fervor that echoed in the room. "To be truly free and escape the system of the shinobis. I won't care about the aftermath; I'll forge my path."
"No more," Naruto whispered to the moonlit night, his voice carrying the weight of determination. "I won't be trampled on anymore. I won't be the fool who forgives and forgets."
His mind journeyed through the bonds he had formed—Team 7, Iruka, even the reluctant acknowledgment from some villagers. These connections, once his lifeline, now felt like fragile threads ready to snap. The realization struck him with a sharp pang—he was alone, and he needed strength that transcended camaraderie and understanding.
Naruto's eyes, once clouded with uncertainty, now shimmered with a newfound determination as he delved into the depths of his thoughts.
His laughter, reminiscent of Kyuubi's malevolent glee, reverberated through the room. It was a laugh born not of madness, but of realization—an acknowledgment of the path he had chosen. "So, this is it," Naruto mused, the echoes of his laughter fading into the quietude. "This is what I want."
Naruto's laughter tapered into a calm resolve. "I release myself from the expectations of others. From now on, I set the standards. It's about what I want, what I strive for. I've tasted the bitterness of being let down by those who should have cared. Now, I'll only rely on myself."
With a deep breath, Naruto acknowledged the truth that had long been obscured by his optimistic naivety. "I want to be worshiped," he admitted, his voice resonating with a newfound clarity. "As the strongest in history."
The words hung in the air, heavy with the gravity of a revelation. Naruto's vision expanded beyond the confines of being a Hokage. He yearned for more, for a title that surpassed the trappings of leadership. The ambition to be the strongest shinobi, a force to be revered through the ages, eclipsed the modest goal of leading the village.
His introspection revealed the narrowness of his previous aspirations. The childish dreams of being acknowledged, of becoming Hokage, now seemed trivial and limiting. Naruto recognized the shallowness of his former self, blindly hoping for a brighter future without possessing the strength to forge it.
After 6 hours
Chunin exam battle hall in tower
In the towering hall of the Chunin Exams, anticipation hung thick as the gathered participants awaited the commencement of the preliminary round.
As the tension built, the atmosphere shifted. Naruto, now in his transformed state, entered the hall with Sakura and Sasuke , the seal patterns on his bare chest radiating power. His spiked blonde hair and two blood-red eyes as well as his blood thirsty and malevolent grin , reminiscent of the fearsome Kyuubi, commanded attention.
Team 8, led by Kurenai, exchanged glances, their determination palpable. Hinata, ever shy, stole a glance at Naruto's team, wondering about the transformations they had heard whispers of.
Kurenai, normally composed, found herself unable to shake off the haunting image of Naruto's transformed state. "What kind of power has he unlocked? It's unlike anything I've ever seen."
Her students, Hinata ,Shino and Kiba, mirrored her unease, silently contemplating the challenges that lay ahead.
Kiba mutters to his team mates and sensei "Did you guys see Naruto's eyes? It was like he was a different person. No, more like a beast."
Hinata, wide-eyed and unnerved, nodded in agreement. "And that grin... it was like he enjoyed the chaos. I've never felt such a sinister aura before. Is it really the Naruto I once knew? "
The sight sent shockwaves through the room. Team 8 exchanged wide-eyed glances, recognizing the source of the whispers. Kurenai's stern expression betrayed her concern for her students.
Team 10, engrossed in their discussion, fell silent. Asuma, a seasoned Jonin, raised an eyebrow, sensing an unpredictable element in the room. Shikamaru, Ino, and Choji discussed their strategy, in a rare case of urgency.
Team Guy, with Might Guy leading, struck dynamic poses, embodying the flames of youth. Neji, typically reserved, had a flicker of unease in his Byakugan-empowered eyes, sensing something amiss.
"Naruto's power is incredible! Did you see his muscles?" Rock Lee says to his sensei
Guy, a sense of foreboding in his eyes, replied, "Our youthful spirit will be tested. Naruto's power is a wild card that could change the course of this. Lee! go make him your rival, he is a worthy one to fight." Guy's response shocked Lee and Lee has become excited to fight Naruto
Might Guy's exuberance waned for a moment. Neji, Tenten, and Lee felt the oppressive aura.
Kabuto, among the participants, observed with a keen eye. The recent events in the Forest of Death lingered in his mind, and the transformation he witnessed left a chilling impression.
Dosu, Kin, and Zaku, the Sound Genin who had faced Naruto in the Forest of Death, sat together, their faces pale with residual fear. Dosu, usually stoic, couldn't shake off the memory of Naruto's brutal defeat." How can someone possess such raw power? We underestimated him."
Asuma exchanged serious looks with Kakashi and Guy, both recognizing the gravity of the situation. Tenten, Lee, and Guy struggled to comprehend the nature of Naruto's transformation.
Utter bewilderment echoed through the minds of the onlookers. Naruto's transformation wasn't merely a physical change but an embodiment of an ominous power.
Hinata, glancing at Naruto, felt a mix of fear and curiosity. Ino, usually self-assured, tightened her grip on her kunai. Neji, sensing the chakra, couldn't shake the feeling of unease.
Baki, accustomed to the harshness of Suna, found himself at a loss for words. His team mirrored his surprise, eyes widening at the transformed Naruto.
Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro, from the Sand Village, couldn't ignore the palpable change. Gaara's eyes widened with a mixture of excitement and dread. "This chakra... it's monstrous. Naruto Uzumaki has become something else entirely."
Temari, uneasy, whispered to Kankuro, "This isn't natural. Whatever occurred to him, it's dangerous."
Kankuro, his usual bravado replaced by genuine concern, agreed. "We need to be careful. He might be a force to reckon with."
Across the hall, Baki, a seasoned Jonin from the Sand Village, observed with a critical eye. "Konoha has become even more unpredictable with this wildcard."
In this charged atmosphere, Naruto, his blood-red eyes scanning the room, felt the weight of every gaze upon him. His unrestrained blood lust and dominant aura echoed the fearsome reputation of the Nine-Tails.
As the attention turned to the higher echelons of the hall, the Third Hokage, flanked by Anko and Hayate, observed the unfolding spectacle.
The Third Hokage, Anko, and others present couldn't help but feel an unsettling shift in the energy. The change in Naruto's demeanor was palpable, a stark departure from the spirited but mischievous ninja they were accustomed to.
The Third Hokage, a seasoned and wise leader, observed Naruto with a mixture of fear , concern and curiosity. Inwardly, he noted the stark changes in Naruto's appearance—seal patterns reminiscent of the Nine-Tails, a muscled physique, and the blood-red eyes that seemed to pierce through the very fabric of reality. It was an unsettling transformation, one that resonated with an ancient, ominous power.
Anko, who had faced Orochimaru's experiments firsthand, recognized the signs of a power beyond conventional understanding. Her breath caught as she witnessed Naruto's bare chest adorned with the intricate seals, each mark echoing a sinister familiarity. The malevolent force from another realm, couldn't be ignored.
Naruto's eyes, once vibrant blue, now harbored a dual nature—a hidden set of blood-red eyes beneath the surface, radiating an otherworldly intensity. Anko sensed an unrestrained bloodlust emanating from Naruto, an aura of dominance that echoed a fearsome presence. She shivered, grappling with the realization that the Chunin Exam had become a stage for forces beyond their control.
The Third Hokage, a sense of nostalgia tinged with fear, recognized the seal patterns on Naruto's transformed body. .The Hokage's eyes narrowed as he tried to decipher the mysterious transformation. "Naruto's chakra has evolved. This is beyond the norm. This power... It's beyond what we've seen before. Naruto's transformation is no ordinary occurrence. We must understand its origin and purpose"
Anko, her expression a mix of fascination and concern, commented, "Hokage-sama, there's an eerie resemblance to the seal patterns on Naruto's body. It's like... the Nine-Tails as well as Orochimaru's influence... it runs deep, and now Naruto carries a piece of that darkness within him."
Third Hokage's gaze sharpened. "We need to understand the extent of this transformation."
Third Hokage ponders: "So, this is the result of Orochimaru's meddling. Naruto, my unpredictable ninja, what have you become? The seal patterns on his body, reminiscent of the Nine-Tails, and that overpowering bloodlust — is this a blessing or a curse?"
Anko, gathering her composure, muttered to herself, "Orochimaru's influence... it runs deep, and now Naruto carries a piece of that darkness within him." Her gaze focused on Naruto and seeks answers to the mysteries that unfolded before her. Anko thinks to herself
"Orochimaru, you lunatic. What have you done to Naruto? His chakra feels different, darker. The curse mark has unleashed something primal within him. Is this boy a weapon or a ticking time bomb?"
Hayate, the appointed proctor for the Chunin Exams, stepped forward. His gaze swept across the assembled participants who had successfully navigated the perilous second round of the exam. He cleared his throat and, with a stern yet congratulatory tone, began addressing the genin.
"Congratulations to all who made it through the Forest of Death. You've proven your skills and resilience. But now, it's time for the next challenge—the elimination round. There are simply too many participants to advance to the finals, so this round will thin the ranks. Remember, the Chunin Exam serves as a substitute for war. In times of peace, it is crucial to identify those with the potential to lead and protect our village. This phase will determine who possesses the qualities needed to be a Chunin."
The Third Hokage, standing beside Hayate, took a moment to reinforce the significance of the Chunin Exams. "This exam is a surrogate for war, a test of your abilities to adapt, strategize, and overcome adversity. The elimination round will be a measure of your combat prowess, tactical thinking, and survival instincts."
As the Hokage continued to elaborate on the rules and purpose of the elimination round, Naruto's eyes glazed over with boredom. He shifted on his feet and, unable to contain himself, interjected with an irreverent tone, "Hey old man ! Can't you just say that participants should face each other and the winner gets the chance to face off against their opponent to show off for the judges and get promoted if the judges are satisfied..Your explanation is dragging on, and I feel like I'm about to fall asleep."
Shikamaru's eyes widened with disbelief. "Troublesome... Naruto just interrupted the Hokage? He's really pushing it."
Sasuke, normally composed, couldn't hide his surprise. "Is he insane? Interrupting the Hokage in the middle of the Chunin Exams? What's gotten into him?"
Kiba, his senses heightened, muttered, "Naruto's always been unpredictable, but this is on another level. What's he up to?"
Ino, usually focused on her appearance, found herself distracted. "I've never seen Naruto act so recklessly. What's his game?"
Sakura, torn between concern and curiosity, whispered to herself, "What's Naruto thinking? This isn't the time for antics."
Kurenai shot Naruto a disapproving look, but before she could reprimand him, the Hokage raised a hand to quell any potential disturbance, momentarily taken aback by Naruto's straightforwardness. As he assessed the determination in Naruto's eyes, a sense of familiarity crept in. "Still the same restless prankster, but now armed with power," he thought, a wistful recognition of Naruto's growth.
A chuckle escaped his lips, and he nodded in acknowledgment. "Naruto, you have a point. Let's simplify this. The elimination round will determine who advances to the finals. Be prepared for one-on-one combat."
As the Hokage responded with an unexpected leniency, the genin struggled to reconcile the breach of protocol. Shikamaru, the strategist, sighed, realizing that Naruto had once again thrown their expectations into disarray. "Troublesome. This Naruto guy doesn't follow the usual rules, huh?"
Sakura, torn between frustration and curiosity, muttered, "He just gets away with everything."
Sasuke, his eyes narrowing, focused on Naruto. "Is this really Naruto?"
Kiba, maintaining his disbelief, couldn't help but shake his head. "Talk about a wild card."
Ino, ever observant, couldn't shake the feeling that Naruto's unpredictable actions were rewriting the rules of the Chunin Exams. "This is going to be one chaotic exam."
"Well, well," Kakashi remarked, lifting his headband. "Looks like Naruto's taken 'the flashiest way to make an entrance.' Quite impressive, I must say."
Asuma, his patience wearing thin, grumbled, "Impressive or not, he's causing a scene."
Kurenai, with a raised eyebrow, added, "And disturbing the order of the Chunin Exams."
Kakashi chuckled, enjoying the irritation he was causing. "Oh, come on, Asuma, Kurenai. The youth these days have their own unique way of doing things. Keeps us on our toes."
Naruto, overhearing Kakashi's banter, couldn't resist joining in. With a wide grin, he sauntered over to Kakashi. "Hey, Kakashi ! You know me—no time to waste. Gotta keep things interesting."
Kakashi laughed, appreciating Naruto's unabashed boldness. "Indeed, Naruto. The unpredictable ones are the most fun."
Asuma, growing increasingly annoyed, muttered to Kurenai, "Fun? This is the Chunin Exams, not a circus."
Kurenai, sharing Asuma's sentiment, replied, "I hope he understands the gravity of the situation."
Kakashi, always one to appreciate a good show, winked at Naruto. "Keep it interesting, Naruto. Just don't forget there's a time and place for everything."
Naruto, with a cheeky grin, shot back, "No promises, sensei. Life's more fun this way, isn't it?"
Hayate takes over from Third Hokage and asks if anyone is willing to forfeit from this round.
Hayate notices Kabuto raising his hand and asks Kabuto to leave the exam hall
"He's failed six times before this," Anko remarked, her words a revelation that hung heavily in the air.
The Hokage, keenly observant, acknowledged Anko's statement and, with a subtle nod, added, "Keep an eye on Kabuto."
"Hmm, Kabuto forfeiting, huh? Seems a bit fishy. That guy's got skills, What's his game?"
Naruto's eyes narrowed as he continued to assess the situation, his instincts tingling with suspicion.
"And did anyone else notice? His chakra levels are eerily similar to the amount of Kakashi-sensei's. Now, that's interesting."
Hayate Gekko, the proctor, stepped forward to announce the next match. The crowd hushed as Hayate's voice echoed through the stadium.
" Our first match features Sasuke Uchiha against Akado Yoroi!"
Naruto couldn't resist a chance to tease Sasuke. "Come on, Sasuke, don't waste time brooding. Take your sweet time. Sakura's wishes won't wait forever," Naruto said with a mischievous grin, earning an irritated glance from Sasuke.
Sakura, as always, wished Sasuke the best, her encouragement sweet but slightly overshadowed by Naruto's condescending tone. Sasuke, choosing to ignore Naruto's antics, acknowledged Sakura with a nod, ready to focus on the upcoming battle.
However, Naruto couldn't resist a parting shot. As Sasuke walked towards the stage, Naruto whispered mockingly to Kakashi, loud enough for Sasuke to catch, "Sasuke, the two-faced princess, is in a hurry. Better watch out, Kakashi-sensei."
Sasuke's face twitched at the insult, a mix of annoyance and frustration, but he continued forward without responding. Kakashi, however, caught the underlying camaraderie between the team members.
Down Below on the test stage
Sasuke stepped onto the battleground with a focused intensity. However, the cursed mark on his neck pulsed ominously, and activating the Sharingan proved more challenging than usual. Anko Mitarashi, watching from the shadows, narrowed her eyes at the unexpected struggle.
"Not good," Anko muttered under her breath, recognizing the ominous signs of the cursed mark asserting its influence.
Sasuke gritted his teeth, grappling with the dark power that threatened to overwhelm him. In the midst of the internal struggle, a sudden surge of willpower emanated from Sasuke. To the surprise of onlookers, he suppressed the cursed mark, a feat that caught even Anko off guard.
Suppressing the mark, Sasuke activated the Sharingan, its two-tomoe gaze piercing through the uncertainty. Determined, he faced Akado Yoroi, who advanced with a smirk, unaware of the internal battle Sasuke fought.
As the match unfolded, Sasuke's Sharingan proved a formidable asset. Swift movements and precise strikes marked his Taijutsu prowess, leaving Yoroi struggling to keep up. The crowd witnessed Sasuke's mastery over the Sharingan, a testament to his growth and resilience.
In a moment reminiscent of Rock Lee's dynamic fighting style, Sasuke unleashed a barrage of high-speed kicks and punches, each striking a testament to his newfound prowess. The crowd watched in awe as Sasuke's speed and precision left Yoroi unable to counter effectively.
Up in the stands
"Sharingan, huh?" Naruto muttered to himself, a mix of awe and curiosity playing on his features. The subtle but ominous presence of Yin chakra emanating from Sasuke's Sharingan didn't escape Naruto's keen perception.
As Sasuke seamlessly incorporated Rock Lee's Taijutsu techniques, a realization struck Naruto. "Wait... did he just copy Lee's moves?" Naruto's eyes narrowed in contemplation, his mind racing with newfound possibilities. The image of Sasuke using a modified version of Rock Lee's technique played in Naruto's mind.
A sly grin tugged at Naruto's lips as he considered the implications. "That Sharingan... it's not just about seeing things. It can copy jutsu too!" Naruto marveled at the potential of Sasuke's ocular ability. The notion that every jutsu could be copied with the Sharingan sparked excitement within him.
In the midst of the battle, Naruto found himself praising the Sharingan silently. "Well, well, Sasuke. Looks like you've got yourself a pretty handy tool there," he remarked, his tone a mix of amusement and acknowledgment.
Down below on the test stage
Sasuke, channeling the energy within him, executed a move he dubbed "Lion's Barrage," paying homage to the speed and ferocity of the feline predator. The arena vibrated with the intensity of his assault as Yoroi struggled to defend against the onslaught.
In a climactic moment, Sasuke incapacitated Yoroi with a final, devastating kick reminiscent of Rock Lee's Lotus technique. The impact resonated through the arena, and Yoroi crumpled to the ground.
Hayate Gekko, the proctor, raised his voice above the din. "The winner is Sasuke Uchiha!"
Up in the stands
Kakashi decided it was time to address the looming issue of Sasuke's cursed seal. With a calm demeanor, he approached Sasuke and signaled him to follow.
"Sasuke, it's time we address the cursed seal. We'll suppress it together," Kakashi said, his tone firm but reassuring.
Sasuke nodded in acknowledgment, determined to overcome the dark influence of the seal. Kakashi then turned to Naruto and Sakura, who stood nearby.
"Take care of things here, Naruto, Sakura. We'll be back shortly. Do your best in the meantime," Kakashi advised, offering them a supportive nod.
Naruto, true to his rebellious nature, couldn't resist making a snide remark. "Well wishes? Please, Kakashi-sensei, we don't need luck to deal with these weaklings." He chuckled in a sinister manner, his expression playfully mocking.
Kakashi, however, maintained his cool demeanor despite Naruto's teasing. Internally, he noted, "Sharp mouth, that Naruto. He really knows how to push people's buttons." The other senseis, like Kurenai and Asuma, displayed visible frustration at Naruto's response, but they remained powerless to intervene.
Sasuke smirks and says "I'm expecting both of you to Advance to the finals."
Sakura, appreciating Kakashi's guidance, stepped forward. "Thank you, Kakashi-sensei. And Sasuke. We'll advance no matter what ."

Hayate Gekko, the proctor, stepped forward to announce the next match. The crowd hushed as Hayate's voice echoed through the stadium.
" Our second match features Zaku Abumi against Shino Aburame!"
"Begin" Hayate exclaims after noticing Zaku and Shino giving the green light to start the match
The air itself seemed to change as Zaku unleashed his airwaves, creating a deafening symphony. Shino, undeterred, swiftly activated his bugs, forming a protective shield around himself.
Zaku's attacks were fierce, but Shino's Kikaichu bugs, like a living armor, absorbed the impact. The battle took an unexpected turn when Zaku, momentarily off-balance, revealed subtle signs of hidden injuries. Shino, ever perceptive, noted the vulnerabilities and seized the opportunity.
In a strategic move, Shino dispersed his Kikaichu and created multiple bug clones, each indistinguishable from the other. Zaku, confident in his prowess, failed to notice the subtle shift in the swarm's behavior. Shino's caution and analytical nature came to the forefront as he used the clones to deceive Zaku, exploiting his hidden injuries.
Up in the stands
"Hmm, pressurized air, huh?" Naruto mused, leaning forward to get a better view. He recognized that air, in its natural state, was relatively slow and silent. However, with Zaku's modifications, the pressurized air not only moved faster but also created distinct sounds as it blasted toward its target.
Naruto couldn't help but mentally note the advantages and disadvantages of Zaku's technique. "Fast and silent, but not so quiet when you amp it up," he muttered to himself, absorbing the nuances of the fight.
When Shino orchestrated Zaku's forfeit by unleashing his swarm of chakra-absorbing bugs, Naruto's focus sharpened. The bugs absorbed Zaku's chakra, multiplying within Shino's body. Naruto, ever the keen observer, deduced the connection between the chakra absorption and the increase in the bug population.
"Buggy boy's got some tricks up his sleeve," Naruto remarked with a grin, referring to Shino as he mentally dubbed him 'buggy boy.' The flashback of defeating Zaku with a single punch during the second round in the Forest of Death flashed through Naruto's mind.
"Guess he never learned his lesson. Still relying on those air blasts," Naruto chuckled, remembering Zaku as the 'weakling' from their previous encounter.

The clones, working in harmony, closed in on Zaku from different angles. Confusion marred Zaku's face as he struggled to discern the real Shino amid the swarm. The bugs, sensing the smallest deviations in Zaku's movements, became the instruments of Shino's precision.
"Zaku Abumi," Shino's calm voice cut through the chaos, "I advise you to forfeit. It is evident that continuing this battle will only lead to further damage. You cannot overcome the strategy I have devised."
Zaku, prideful but not foolish, assessed the situation. The realization dawned on him—Shino had exploited his weaknesses. Swallowing his pride, Zaku conceded defeat.
"I forfeit," Zaku declared, acknowledging the superior tactics of his opponent. The audience, though surprised by the abrupt conclusion, erupted into whispers and applause.
Hayate stepped forward, his voice resonating once again, "The winner of this match is Shino Aburame of Konoha!"

Shino appears before his team
Hinata's shy smile broke through, "Shino, that was amazing! Your tactics were incredible."
Kiba, with a boisterous grin, clapped Shino on the back, "You really know how to surprise people, Bug Boy. Well done!"
Kurenai, a proud smile on her face, commended Shino, "Your analytical skills and strategic thinking shine in battle, Shino. A well-deserved victory."
Shino, usually reserved, nodded in acknowledgment of Hinata's praise. Kiba's hearty approval prompted a rare small smile, and Kurenai's commendation earned a humble nod. "Thank you," Shino replied, his tone measured, appreciating the recognition of his analytical prowess in battle.

Hayate announces:
" Our third match features Kankuro against Tsurugi Misumi!"
"Begin" Hayate exclaims
Tsurugi Misumi, confident and imposing, faced off against Kankuro, who cunningly disguised himself as a puppet. Tsurugi's eyes narrowed, perplexed by the lack of pain in his opponent. He questioned the oddity, wondering why his strikes didn't elicit any reaction.
As the confusion settled in Tsurugi's mind, a voice emanated from the puppet on Kankuro's back, snapping him back to reality. Tsurugi's eyes widened as Kankuro unraveled the puppet, revealing his deceptive strategy.
"Foolish," Kankuro taunted. "You fell for it. This isn't even me. It's just a puppet."
Tsurugi, frustrated by his own oversight, cussed under his breath. Kankuro seized the moment, manipulating the puppet's limbs with chakra strings. The disguised puppet replicated Kankuro's movements seamlessly, adding to Tsurugi's bewilderment.
Kankuro, reveling in his tactical advantage, struck Tsurugi with precision. The puppet's hidden blade carried a lethal poison, injecting venom into Tsurugi's system. The Sand shinobi smirked as he observed the gradual effect on his opponent.
"You're finished. That poison will paralyze you soon," Kankuro declared, enjoying his psychological dominance.
Tsurugi, hesitating for a moment, felt the encroaching paralysis. His body betrayed him, and the realization of defeat sank in. After a brief internal struggle, Tsurugi conceded, reluctantly forfeiting the match.
Hayate Gekko's voice echoed through the arena, "Kankuro of the Sand wins! Tsurugi Misumi is unable to continue."
Up in the stands
As Naruto observed the ongoing match between Kankuro and Tsurugi.
Naruto's keen eyes closely observed Tsurugi Misumi's body modification technique, recognizing an eerie similarity to Orochimaru's infamous style. Unwanted memories surged within Naruto, a rare moment of annoyance bubbling to the surface as he contemplated the revenge he sought against the slippery snake.
Amidst the unsettling recollections, Naruto delved into a tactical analysis of Tsurugi's technique. Pros unfolded before him, revealing the potential benefits of extended limbs and heightened senses. The idea of utilizing body modification to enhance taijutsu skills intrigued him. Naruto envisioned a free-flowing combat style, where limbs and joints could be rearranged dynamically for unprecedented flexibility.
However, as Naruto pondered the potential advantages, the cons emerged like shadows. The extent of modification required varied amounts of chakra, demanding an unreal level of precision—whether consciously or subconsciously controlled. Naruto couldn't ignore the intricacies and potential risks involved in such a drastic alteration of the human form.
"Precision... control... it's like walking a tightrope. One wrong move, and the whole thing could collapse," Naruto muttered, reflecting on the delicate balance required for such a technique.
His attention shifted to Kankuro and is honed in on the intricate dance of chakra strings. His enhanced sensory perception, a newfound ability, allowed him to perceive the subtle fluctuations in chakra within the arena. It was a skill that went beyond mere sight, granting him insight into the very essence of the shinobi techniques at play.
As Kankuro seamlessly transitioned from puppet to puppeteer, Naruto's eyes darted between the disguised Kankuro and the puppet under his control. The chakra strings connecting them left a distinct signature in Naruto's perception. He marveled at the potential hidden within this seemingly unassuming technique.
"Chakra strings, huh?" Naruto muttered to himself. "Looks like there's more to these than meets the eye."
Naruto pondered, his mind racing with ideas. "What if you could compress these strings and launch them from your fingers? A long range attack from a distance!"
As the thought materialized in his mind, Naruto envisioned chakra strings extending and contracting, like a deadly whip or various forms of minicular slashes unleashed by the puppeteer or compressed forms of strings being released through the fingers {Similar to Sukuna's Cleave and Dismantle} . The sheer versatility of this technique fascinated him, and he wondered if one could expand the range of chakra strings to control opponents at a greater distance.
"And what about the fluidity of movement?" Naruto's eyes gleamed with excitement. "If you could control the density in these strings, you could manipulate the movements with unparalleled precision. It's like a dance, but with deadly strings."
Naruto's eyes widened in fascination as he thought about Tsurigi's unique body modifications. The idea of having four arms and two faces triggered a playful curiosity in him. A mischievous grin crept across his face as he envisioned the possibilities.
"Imagine having four arms, each doing a different hand seal or seal less jutsus in each hands or imagining all hands releasing compressed chakra strings," Naruto mused, his mind drifting into the realm of his wild imagination. A sudden flashback of Haku effortlessly performing one-handed seals flashed through his mind, fueling his excitement.
Sakura, who happened to be nearby, overheard Naruto's musings and couldn't help but feel a chill run down her spine. She approached him cautiously, her expression a mix of shock and concern. "Naruto ! ,Why are you laughing like that? You're scaring me."
Naruto, oblivious to Sakura's unease, continued his playful banter. "Come on, Sakura, wouldn't it be cool? Two faces, four arms, unstoppable!"
Sakura's eyes widened in disbelief. Ignoring Sakura's plea, Naruto chuckled, lost in his own world of bizarre possibilities. Unbeknownst to him, Sakura sighed in resignation, accepting that Naruto's antics had reached a new level of eccentricity. Inner Sakura echoed the sentiment, shaking her head at the apparent insanity unfolding before them.
"He's officially lost it," Sakura thought, glancing at Naruto with a mixture of concern and exasperation. "How did we end up with this crazy ninja as our teammate?" Inner Sakura sighed, lamenting the unpredictable nature of Naruto's thoughts. "I'm tired of dealing with this. Where is Kakashi sensei when you really need him?" Sakura exasperatedly ponders

Hayate announces:
" Our fourth match features Sakura Haruno against Ino Yamanaka!"
Naruto, with his mischievous grin, approached Sakura just before her match against Ino. He tapped her shoulders with a sneaky gesture, transferring a bit of chakra while trying to encourage her in his unique way.
"Hey, Forehead! Don't mess this up," Naruto teased, a twisted grin playing on his face. "You know the two-faced princess would be pretty upset if you lose. Can't have that, can we?"
Sakura shot Naruto an annoyed look, her temper flaring at his unconventional encouragement. "Naruto, seriously? Can't you be normal for once?"
"Nah, where's the fun in that? But seriously, don't lose to a coward like Ino. You're way stronger," Naruto said, his words oddly supportive despite the teasing tone. Inner Sakura, though irritated, couldn't help but feel a surge of motivation.
Inner Sakura, always ready to add her flair to the situation, chimed in with an exaggerated sigh. "Oh, Naruto, your motivational speeches are one of a kind. But hey, I'll take it. Let's show them what Team 7 is made of!"
As Sakura descended to the battleground below, she couldn't suppress a small smile. Inner Sakura, in a dramatic manner, thanked Naruto for his bizarre yet strangely motivating words.
Down below on the test stage
Ino, keenly observant and familiar with Naruto's unpredictable antics, couldn't shake off the unsettling feeling that something fishy was going on. As she watched Naruto's mischievous exchange with Sakura, her sharp instincts kicked in.
"Naruto of the past would not be like this .. what is he up to?," Ino muttered to herself, narrowing her eyes suspiciously. "There's no way Naruto does something without an ulterior motive. What's he playing at?"
"He's up to something. Can't imagine Naruto genuinely encouraging Forehead with his twisted nature " Ino thought, casting a speculative glance at the pair. "I need to keep an eye on Sakura during her fight. There's more to this than meets the eye."
"Begin" Hayate exclaims
Sakura felt an unfamiliar surge of chakra within her, a newfound strength fueled by a desire to prove herself. Across from her, Ino maintained a composed demeanor, confident in her Yamanaka clan techniques.
Ino, confident in her Yamanaka clan techniques, initiated the Mind Transfer Jutsu, attempting to seize control of Sakura's body.
As the struggle unfolded, Inner Sakura, spurred by memories of Naruto's resilience and encouragement, emerged with a newfound strength. "I won't let you take over!" Inner Sakura's voice echoed within Sakura's mind.
Ino, sensing the shift in Sakura's mental fortitude, pressed harder, pouring more chakra into her Mind Transfer Jutsu. Sakura, however, fought back with a raw determination fueled by the echoes of her tragic experiences in the Forest of Death.
Ino's voice cut through the mental battle, "Sakura, just give up! You're not strong enough to resist me."
Sakura's eyes flashed with defiance. "You're wrong, Ino. I won't let you control me anymore. I'm not that girl from the past."
The physical clash mirrored the mental struggle. Sakura, drawing upon her tragic memories of the Forest of Death, fought with a grit and tenacity that went beyond her usual demeanor. She moved with a raw intensity, her blows striking with calculated precision.
Ino, adapting her strategy, trying to close the distance. Sakura, however, met her head-on, the clash of their blows creating a flurry of movement. Sakura's enhanced chakra as well as her innate chakra control allowed her to keep pace, and her attacks became more ruthless, exploiting openings with a rough and underhanded finesse.
The crowd, initially taken aback by Sakura's sudden shift in demeanor, watched as the battle reached its climax. Ino, determined to prove her own strength, attempted to initiate the Mind Transfer Jutsu once more. Inner Sakura, fueled by Naruto's unwavering spirit, erupted with a ferocity that shook the mental landscape.
"You're a coward, Ino," Inner Sakura declared, her voice cutting through the psychic struggle. "You always relied on your clan's techniques. But I won't let you control Sakura any longer."
Ino, surprised by the sudden resistance, faltered for a moment. Sakura seized the opportunity, launching a barrage of attacks. Ino, disoriented, struggled to regain control. Inner Sakura's newfound strength prevailed, and with a final mental kick, she expelled Ino from Sakura's mind.
In the physical realm, Sakura pressed her advantage. Channeling her enhanced chakra, she unleashed a burst of speed and delivered a serious punch to the abdomen. Ino, now caught off guard, struggled to defend herself against the mind numbing punch.
The arena fell into stunned silence, broken only by the sounds of Sakura's heavy breathing. Inner Sakura, having secured her victory within Sakura's mind, retreated into the recesses of her consciousness.
Hayate Gekko, the proctor, stepped forward to announce the winner. "The winner of this match is Sakura Haruno of Konoha!" he declared, his voice resounding through the arena.
Sakura, despite her rough approach during the fight, extended a hand to Ino. "You put up a good fight, Ino. No hard feelings?"
Ino, appreciating Sakura's gesture, accepted the hand with a nod. "None at all, Sakura. You were stronger today. Maybe next time, it'll be my turn."
Up in the stands
Naruto's eyes keenly observed Sakura's final, decisive punch in the elimination round of the Chunin Exams. The burst of chakra infused into the strike didn't escape Naruto's unique sensory perspective. His senses, attuned to chakra fluctuations, picked up on the controlled release of energy within Sakura's attack.
"Hmm, not bad, Sakura," Naruto mused internally, slightly stunned by the efficacy of her technique. He marveled at how she subconsciously manipulated her chakra to amplify the damage without losing control. It was an unexpected display of refined skill that intrigued him.
"Interesting move there," Naruto thought, his mind buzzing with possibilities. "I wonder, if I had given her more chakra, would that punch level the whole dang arena? Now that'd be a sight!"
The prospect of Sakura honing her control over such powerful punches fascinated Naruto. He envisioned a scenario where Sakura, with rigorous training in chakra manipulation, could unleash devastating blows. The twisted corners of his mind conjured an image of her annoyed expression, a mix of fury and irritation, whenever he decided to be his usual annoying self.
"Haha! If she gets the hang of controlling her punches and gets serious about becoming a kunoichi, it's gonna be a riot," Naruto chuckled inwardly. The idea of a powerhouse Sakura, fueled by controlled chakra and disciplined training, promised entertainment and, in his twisted way, a peculiar form of camaraderie
Naruto couldn't help but focus at Ino's mind transfer jutsu. As he observed the seamless transition of consciousness, a spark of realization ignited within him. The nature of the chakra involved intrigued him.
"Yin release, huh?" Naruto muttered to himself, his eyes narrowing in thought. "This is some next-level stuff. No wonder it's so tricky to counter."
His mind raced with possibilities. The Yin nature of the chakra opened doors to techniques far beyond a mere mind-transfer jutsu. Naruto envisioned the potential for soul-swapping, body-switching, or even the art of inducing hypnosis without leaving the usual traces.
A malevolent grin crept onto Naruto's face as he contemplated the myriad applications of Yin-based techniques. The darkness within him relished the prospect of wielding such sinister abilities.
"This opens up a whole new world of jutsu. No one would see it coming," Naruto chuckled darkly to himself . "Imagine the chaos I could cause with the power of Yin release."
Naruto notices Sakura waving at Ino and reminding her that she will be visiting the hospital after a few days.
"Hah! 'Coward and weakling,' Sakura? Not bad could be done with more twisted or devilish actions and expressions but it's good for a first timer," Naruto mused within. "Looks like my charming vocabulary is catching on. She's finally embracing the darkness. Maybe I've been a positive influence after all. Hell, I've got to admit, Sakura did look kinda badass throwing those words around. Yeah, they're learning from the best – me!" Naruto couldn't help but revel in his twisted sense of accomplishment
Naruto's eyes flickered with a mix of determination and excitement as he realized Sasuke and Sakura's success in the elimination round. A mischievous grin played on his lips, and he thought, "Well, looks like the two-faced princess and Sakura passed. Now, it's just me left. Time to show them what I'm cooking !" Anticipation bubbled within him as he envisioned the challenges ahead, eager to prove himself in the upcoming battles of the Chunin Exams.
Naruto notices Team 10 in a daze and interrupts them
"Well, well, Asuma," Naruto taunted with a sly grin, gesturing toward the defeated Ino. "Looks like your little student couldn't handle the heat. What kind of teacher are you, anyway?"
Asuma, Shikamaru, and Choji bristled at Naruto's audacity. Asuma, in particular, was unaccustomed to such bold remarks about his students.
"Naruto," Asuma growled, trying to maintain his composure, "you should watch your mouth. Ino fought well."
Naruto chuckled mockingly. "Fought well? Please, Asuma. I've seen more fights with kittens. Maybe you should teach her how to be a proper ninja instead of wasting your time with those lame cigarettes."
Shikamaru and Choji exchanged exasperated glances, internally grumbling about Naruto's newfound penchant for biting criticism.
Shikamaru sighed in his thoughts, "Since when did Naruto's mouth become so critical? Troublesome."
Choji nodded in agreement within his mind, "He used to be annoying, but now he's just rude. What's gotten into him?"
Asuma's eyes narrowed, his patience wearing thin. However, recognizing the strategic importance of maintaining a sense of unity within the village, he held back his anger, though it simmered just beneath the surface.
Naruto, still grinning, walked away, leaving behind a bewildered trio of Asuma, Shikamaru, and Choji, who were left to wonder when exactly Naruto had developed such a biting tongue.
Sakura comes back up to the spectators view and notices Naruto dazed
Sakura approached Naruto with joy at first and transitioning to concern being etched across her face. "Hey, Naruto thanks for the boost and are you okay?"
Naruto, lost in his thoughts, responded absentmindedly, "Yeah, yeah."
Sakura, oblivious to Naruto's peculiar demeanor, eagerly asked, "How did my fight go? Did you like it?"
Naruto, with a disinterested expression, replied, "Huh? It's alright, but it needs more chaos, more blood. 5/10." He dramatically shifted his gaze to Sakura, a blank expression turning into disdain as if he was delivering a comedic punchline directly to Sakura.
Sakura's smile froze on her face. The unexpected response left her speechless for a good ten seconds. Finally, she managed to say, " You're the only one left to pass, Naruto. I wish Kakashi-sensei had seen my match."
Attempting to convey something, Naruto opened his mouth, but before he could utter a word, Kakashi appeared before them. "Whose match just ended?" he asked.
Naruto quickly pointed at Sakura. "Hers. She won against Ino."
Sakura stood with a shy yet proud expression as Kakashi patted her on the head, playfully messing up her hair. "Congratulations, Sakura. Good news for both of you," he announced. "Sasuke's cursed seal has been suppressed and dealt with."
Sakura's face displayed a mixture of relief and joy, while Naruto's attention shifted to the screen, his anticipation growing as he wondered who his next opponent would be.
Kakashi continued, "Your teammate did well. Now, Naruto, get ready because you might be next."
Naruto's eyes gleamed with determination. "Yeah, yeah. I'll show Sakura what a good fight is."
