Detective Izuku Case Closed

Chapter 5: Shell of a Friend Part 2

"Yes, Principal Edano, I understand." Said Ito as they parked in their garage while he was on the phone. "I'll make sure the files are safe. After all, we don't want our... Principal Edano?" He said as the line disconnected. Ito sat there as their head rested on the wheel. "What a fucking mess. That brat had one job and it was not to paint Aldera in a bad light and he gets caught up in a murder investigation." 'Sigh' "Relax, Ito, Edano has it all under control. You are not going to jail." Ito then exited his car and entered his home when he smelt something in the air. 'Wait a minute, it that... 'Boom!' Was all he could say as an explosion interrupted his thought.

Meanwhile standing out on the street was White holding files in their hand. They then pulled out a phone and made a call.

"Hello police, there's a fire... What started it, me." They then dropped the phone and broke it. "This better be worth it, R."

"This is normally where we discuss the reason that brings us all here, but, given the recent news coverage, I believe we are all aware of what this meeting is about." Said Nezu as seventeen figures stared back at him.

"About that Nezu." Said a man with grey hair and beard as he was dressed in a black suit with a red tie. "Who is the man sitting with you, Ozpin, and Kirigiri?"

"I'm glad you asked, Masters." He said as he pointed to Sherlock. "This is Sherlock Holmes, no, he's not the fictional one that's his actual name. We hired him to look into those who have gone missing during The Merge and be our main investigator to watch over matters of the school and council."

"This is quite surprising to hear, Nezu." Said a man with grey hair with a headband covering one eye as he wore a blue mask. "I figured we would be asked about this before doing such a serious change."

"While it is sudden, Kakashi, we thought this necessary in case something happened to one of us." Said Ozpin.

"You mean the HSPC thought it would be wise for Sherlock to be here." Said a woman with long lavender hair and light blue eyes. She wore white armor with black clothing underneath, a violet cape with blue on the inside with golden trim, and golden/brown knee-high boots. "From what you told us about them, I wouldn't be surprised this was their doing.

"Miss. Chrome, while I understand where you are coming from this was something that Nezu, Ozpin, and Kirigiri planned on their own." Said a gorilla in armor with glasses.

"I'm surprised you didn't have a hand this, Winston." Asked a yellow octopus creature.

"Very little, Koro-sensei." Said Winston. "I helped with a few documents but, that is it."

"Personally, I think having a detective to watch over us is unnecessary." Said a woman with braided hair. "While I'm not saying that one of us could be doing something nefarious behind our backs, having someone watch us is a good idea."

"Are you implying that I could be planning an invasion, Butterfly?" Asked a short man with a trident tail.

"I'm saying that it's not bad to have some protection in case one of us goes rogue, Deviluke." Said Moon with a glare.

"Mrs. Butterfly, Mr. Deviluke, let's be calm and not start an argument over nothing." Said a large goat monster dressed in royal attire.

"Asgore is right." Said a bald man with horns on the side of his head. "The council was made out of trust for each other and to help young students learn more about each other and their world customs."

"Well put, Sullivan." Said a man with a large brown top hat. "With knowledge and trust, we can live in a world of peace."

"That can also be used to nefarious purposes, Layton." Said a tall woman with purple hair as half of it went over her teal eyes. She wore a dark purple dress with a blue cross necklace resting on her chest. "We both know that given the right circumstances said knowledge and trust can be used for war."

"I understand where you come from Mrs. Sho." Said Layton as he grabbed a cup of tea off the table and took a sip from it. "But, I was referring to the positives of said relationship."

"Yeash, could cut the tension right now with a plastic knife and it still wouldn't bring it down." Said a woman with shades and long black hair. "Why did they think I would be a good representative for The Council?"

"Well, Mrs. Smith, I think your organization must have thought you were the most r, responsible out of your fellow c, co-workers." Said a man in a lab coat and black suit with a stutter. The man's lab coat also had a strange symbol showing it to be two L-like shapes. "Just as Providence saw my u, usefulness."

"Whatever you say, Evritt." Said Smith with an eye roll.

"I believe we have fallen off the main topic of the conversation." Said a bald man in a wheelchair.

"Xavier is right, this meeting is about Sherlock." Said a black-haired man with a light blue dress shirt under his black suit. "And I agree with Moon that having Sherlock here will bring more trust from everyone's worlds."

"It could do that Wayne." Said a woman with black hair and green eyes and was dressed in Fire Nation attire. "Or it could bring distrust to the people and have them fear The Council. I know when Fire Lord Ozai reigned back in my world, he would use the fear of his enemies to bring more soldiers to his cause."

"Keep in mind, Yoro, that there are two versions of your world existing at once." Said a man with gray hair who had a bandana covering one eye and a mask covering his mouth. "The Four Nations of the past and citizens of Republic City."

"Ladies! Gentleman!" Shouted an older man with grey hair who wore a grey suit with black on the collar and black gloves. "Can we please give the floor to Mr. Holmes? I'm sure that we all can agree on that, right, Kakashi?"

"Indeed, Mr. Holmes has been patiently waiting for his time to speak." Said Kakashi. "On behalf of me, Mr. Tennyson, and the council, we apologize for ignoring you."

"Thank you, Kakashi, I appreciate that." Said Sherlock. "So, if you could please forgive the speech that I'm about to say, let me get started and say... all of your worlds give me a headache."

"And how do they give you a headache?" Asked Vlad with a raised eyebrow.

"Well for starters." He said as he took a deep breath. "How the hell has the timeline/world not fallen apart due to two avatars existing together!? There are theories that magic is the main culprit or the gods are making sure whatever fracture of said timeline doesn't break more continuity issues so dinosaurs don't arrive out of the bloody blue! Then there is the fact that there are so many races of aliens out there with different technology that could end us in seconds and that is not counting their long life spans! And no offense to Sullivan and Asgore, but, how have no national threats been reported with the power of demons and monsters roaming about which must make your job interesting Smith with the literal Hell nation on one side of the world and that is not including the many amounts of Nether World demons and lands that have popped up! Evritt, your world has literal killer nanobot technology that triggers mutations that make scientists believe that your world is similar to the world of quirks just on a world-ending scenario! And while they haven't been seen, the fact some creatures feed on negative emotions called Grimm roaming the Earth is just terrifying! And you!" Shouted Sherlock as he pointed to Chrome. "Your's is just fanfiction brought to life with so many wall-breaking references that makes me wonder how any of these world's businesses hasn't declared what I call "The Lawsuit Apocolypse," hasn't got in touch with you or any of your goddess or rulers about copyright claims!?"

"...Did you cram all this knowledge into your head in one night?" Asked Winston with concern.

"Yes, why do I ask?" Questioned Sherlock as his eye twitched.

"...Well, you have to admire Sherlock's honesty and intelligent wit to put who knows how many years of knowledge in one night for this meeting." Said Asgore as a sweat droplet fell from his head.

'Cough' "Sherlock, you have a matter you wish to discuss with us about the school, don't you?" Asked Nezu trying to make everyone forget Sherlock's rant.

"Right." Said Sherlock as he sat down in a chair with a small blush showing. "The matter I wanted to discuss is about future students joining the university."

"If you are worried that there will be conflicts between races, we have already made a plan for when that issue arises." Explained Smith.

"No, nothing that like that." He said with a serious look. "I'm talking about the edgibility and history of said students."

"How so?" Asked Bruce.

"I have begun looking into some of the student's records and found some rather unusual differences." Answered Sherlock.

"Well, it's no secret that when The Merge happened many records were lost." Said Koro-Sensei.

"And I understand those difficulties, however, when said school has been purposefully making false records and grades for the more "weak" and "useless" students and has been praising the bad behavior of their more "stronger" and "useful" students and making their records and grades clean. You have to wonder what the hell is going on." Explained Sherlock.

"You know of such a school, Sherlock?" Asked Kakashi.

"I do." Said Sherlock as grabbed a bag from under the table and placed two files on the table. "The school that I'm questioning its morals is Aldera High and their possible connection to the Meta Liberation Army's old ways."

'It's been a week since the events at the harbor.' Thought Izuku as he sat at his desk. 'White and Green haven't been found yet, no one knows the reason behind the deaths of the victims other than it being a revenge plot, Ka-ch... Bakugo is in the hospital, and the identities of Pink, Yellow, and Blue have been revealed.'

'Yellow is a monster from the underground who was friends with two royal guard members, Dogamy and Dogressa, who often asked him to watch over their kid. The reason Yellow aka Bow Wow, a dog monster citizen, went after Virra was because she ran over Dogamy and Dogressa's son killing him on the spot. Bow Wow saw her face and reported it to the authorities, but, when he did they told them the culprit had already been found and charged. When he asked to see the prisoner he was denied access and began an argument with the police which led to him being detained. He vowed revenge against her and found White not too long after his release.'

'Pink is an elf from a kingdom called Dwargon. Her name is Farryn Aelamin and worked with her grandfather as a blacksmith apprentice. Her connection to Virra is that her family asked for a custom-ordered necklace for their daughter, however, after it was made and done the parents came back furious saying the necklace damaged her skin with pictures showing said damage. This caused her grandfather to lose his business and fall into a deep depression which then led to his death. Virra felt bad for the family that their work damaged their daughter and went to give them a necklace of her own design, but, when she found Virra, she overheard talking to Yoka who was telling her how she faked her injuries when she heard the necklace was made by elves. Virra even used the racial words, Knife-Eared Freak, in her sentence. Virra was enraged when she saw them laughing and wanted to end them right there and then, but, knew it wouldn't end well if she did it in broad daylight. She then created a chat room for victims of the Wilder family which is where she met White.

'Blue, I think Blue aka Ebon, suffered the most from Virra. Ebon went to the same school as her and was in love with her. He could never gain the courage to ask her out, but, one day she came up to him and asked him out. He said yes, of course, but, what he didn't know was that she was using him for something more nefarious. One day she asked Ebon if he could take care of some people who were giving her some trouble. When he asked if she meant murder she nodded her head. Ebon was horrified, but, seeing the "pain" in Virra's eyes he foolishly went with her plan and burnt down the house with the people still inside. When he told her that he did it she had a surprised look on her face and then laughed which caught him off guard. Virra never thought he would do it, but, after hearing his confession she couldn't help but smile. After school, he got a text from her saying that they were over and only used Ebon as a source of enjoyment. It only got worse when Ebon learned that the place he burnt down had children in there and the only reason she wanted them taken care of was that the caretaker got after her for kicking a faunus child and asked her to apologize to them. Ebon then went on the dark web looking for a way to secretly get rid of Virra and that's where he met White and their supplier for their plan.'

'Virra Wilder, a woman that sounds like she was the spawn of Satan herself. I'm glad I never came across her wrath, but, despite the things she did, she didn't need to die because of them. She could have been brought to justice and tried for her crimes, but, instead of doing right, White and their companions went and murdered them in the most painful and gruesome way possible. White must have some serious disdain for Virra to plan such a brutal murder. I hate...' "Excuse me?" Asked a male voice interrupting Izuku's train of thought

As Izuku looked up he saw three people. Two were boys and the other was a girl.

The first boy wore a dark blue suit with a green tie and white dress shirt and was tall and slim. His brown hair was close to his eyes but not covering them.

The second boy was taller than the first and was a bit more robust and wore the same attire as the first boy. His black hair was short and kinda looked like it was a mountain.

The girl was shorter than the first boy. Her hair was reddish brown, her blue eyes stared at Izuku as if she was examining him and wore... an outfit like Ran's!

"Are you students of Teitan High School by chance?" Asked Izuku.

"Ah, yes, we are!" Said the second boy. "And your Izuku Midoirya, Detective of Musutafu!"

"Um, y, yes I am." He said shyly scratching his face. "And you are?"

"Ah, forgive me for not introducing myself!" Exclaimed the second boy. "I'm Genta Kojima!

"I'm Mitsuhiko Tsuburaya." Said the first boy.

"I'm Ai Haibara." Said the girl with a blank stare as she bent forward in front of Izuku's face with her not too far from his. "And you... look nothing like the rumors suggested you were."

"Rumors?" Questioned Izuku.

"Yeah, rumors are saying you were a new pro hero who just came onto the scene out of nowhere!" Exclaimed Genta.

"And that you take care of the culprits yourself leaving bruises and scars!" Exclaimed Mitsuhiko.

"...I'm afraid I have no idea what you are talking about." Said Izuku with a sweat drop going down his head. "I'm just an average teenager training to be a hero."

"So you don't deny that you are a hero!" Exclaimed Genta.

"W, well not quite yet." Said Izuku with a small blush on his face.

"I wouldn't say that, Izu." Said Himiko as she appeared next to Izuku out of nowhere. "Your my hero.

"H, Himiko!" Exclaimed Izuku as jumped out of his seat. "W, when did you get here!?"

"Not too long ago." She said with a smile. Himiko then noticed Genta, Mitushiko, and Ai looking at her. "Who are these guys?"

"I'm Mistuchiko, that's Genta, and that's Ai." He said as he pointed to Genta and Ai.

"Well, I'm... Himiko Toga." Said Ai interrupting her catching her off guard with her old name. "Your new legal name is Himiko Kataoka and you were once the Vampire of Musutafu."

"I, I was at one point, but, Izuku got me the help I need and I don't crave blood as much as I did before." She said shyly.

"I'm aware." Said Ai. "But, does that change the actions you have done to your victims?"

"Some h, have forgiven me while o, others still resent me for what I did." Said Himiko who looked like she was about to cry. "B, but, I changed!

"That may be so, but, do you... I believe we get what you're implying, Haibara." Said Izuku with a stern look as he interrupted her.

"Hey Ai, go easy on her." Said Mistuchiko with a hand on her shoulder. "I get that you don't exactly trust her as much as Izuku here, but, we are here to learn and make new friends."

"Glad to hear it, Mr. Tsuburaya." Said a man as he entered the room. The man wore a light blue dress shirt with a yellow tie, brown dress pants, and black dress shoes. His hair was tied back into a ponytail and he smiled at the group with his blue eyes.

"Your not Mr. Ito." Said Izuku.

"No, I'm not." Said the man. "Mr. Ito suffered an accident at his home and I will be your substitute teacher for the rest of your term here."

"And your name?" Asked Ai.

"Ah yes, that was a little rude of me not to introduce myself before delivering that heavy news." Said the man with a bow. "I'm Mawatari Yoshitoshi, but, please refer to me as Mr. Yoshitoshi when we are in the classroom."

"Ah, so this is the correct classroom!" Exclaimed Genta.

'That must be what Mistuchiko wanted to ask me when he saw me.' Thought Izuku. 'But, Mr. Yoshitoshi suddenly appearing without the school notifying us about Mr. Ito's accident is strange.'

Before Izuku could ponder more on the subject the bell rang and students began to enter Izuku's classroom. One student who enters the room caught Izuku off guard.

'Bakugo!?' Thought Izuku as he saw him enter the room as he wore an arm cast with a cover over his left shoulder. Bakugo saw Izuku and just ignored him as he sat down.

What the two of them didn't know at the time was that Mr. Yoshitoshi was glaring at Bakugo as pressed the chalk he was holding hard against the chalkboard making a quick harsh screech.

"So, I trust that you see the differences and oddities in these records, correct?" Asked Sherlock.

"I have to admit Sherlock, after your insane rant I thought you were sputtering more nonsense." Said Vlad as he was examining the many copies of the folders Sherlock brought with him. "But, after reading these folders, I have to admit you are onto something."

"Indeed, the differences in the grades of certain students at Aldera are very well hidden." Said Nezu. "I have to say I'm impressed with the information you have for your case."

"So you agree there are grounds for a further investigation into the school?" Questioned Sherlock.

"I see grounds for one as well." Replied Winston as he adjusted his glasses. "If you need anything from Overwatch you'll have our support, Mr. Holmes."

"I do see two issues that could affect how this investigation is treated though." Said Koro-Sensei.

"Your referring to Sherlock's connection with Izuku, correct?" Asked Moon.

"Believe me, I see the issue myself and am willing to sit back on the sidelines if needed." Answered Sherlock. "Izuku doesn't deserve to be learning in that hellhole."

"As for the other issue that Koro-Sensei mentioned." Said Smith adjusting her glasses. "It has to be the possible connection to the Meta Liberation Army."

"W, while I s, see where Sherlock is coming f, from by looking over the student's q, quirk status to their v, views, I don't believe the HSPC or a, any justice system would have been t, this oblivious." Said Evritt.

"Just because there are people of law in the area doesn't mean the Meta Liberation Army found a way to go unnoticed." Said Layton. "Given how old the organization is nobody would have noticed their return."

"I admit Aldera deserves to be investigated, but, weren't we called here for the murder of several students that planned to go to our university?" Asked Kirigiri.

"I believe Sherlock has already started that." Said Bruce as he slid a file with a picture of Katsuki Bakugo to the middle of the table. "This is one of the survivors from that attack correct?"

"Yeah, Bakugo is one of them." Said Sherlock glaring at the photo.

"You don't seem to care for the boy that much do you, Sherlock?" Asked Xavier. "Do you have a history with him?

"Personally no." He answered while stopping his glare. "Izuku Midoriya, on the other hand unfortunately does."

"That's the boy the news has been talking about recently, correct?" Asked Casala. "I heard how he solved the murder of a Hada Minoru back in Orario."

"He's been quite the topic back in the Four Nations and Republic City." Said Yoro. "I even heard that Fire Lord Ozai plans to do something with him.

'Keep that a note for later.' Thought Sherlock. "Yes, that's the same boy you have been hearing about."

"How do Bakugo and Izuku know each other?" Asked Ozpin.

"From what I've been told, he and Izuku used to be friends until Izuku's quirklessness appeared." Replied Sherlock.

"But, doesn't it say on this paper here that he has an unknown super strength quirk?" Asked Chrome as she tapped on the file with Izuku's name and picture on it.

"What do you mean?" He asked Kirigiri as he looked over Izuku's file and saw where it said Izuku's quirk status. "I didn't put this here!" Sherlock grabbed his phone and went to his files only to be blinded by a red light throwing the phone onto the table. The phone then displayed the letter R on the screen with a message.

"Who's R?" Asked Kakashi. "Is that an informant of yours, Sherlock?"

"No, it's not." Replied Sherlock as he rubbed his eyes.

Koro-Sensei then grabbed Sherlock's phone and began reading the message.

"Dear Sherlock,

Don't be alarmed. This is not an attempt to hide Aldera's dark secrets. I too have been looking into Aldera and agree that it needs to be charged with their actions, adult and student. I found out you were looking into them as well and saw that Izuku's quirk status was wrong. While I haven't personally seen Izuku use it due to his current limitations, I believe it needs to be addressed. I apologize if this complicates things for you in the future with your meeting with The Council, but, I believe they will understand once you or someone reads this message.

Signed By A Concerned Individual,

R."

"Great, Izuku has a mysterious vigilante hacker/stalker on his hands." Said Sherlock with annoyance.

"I don't suppose this can be considered a positive, could it?" Asked Asgore.

"Since whenever does a hacker hacking into a detective's phone a good sign, Asgore?" Questioned Gid.

"Gid, you know Asgore and his kind are still learning about the current technology of the world." Replied Max with a stern look.

"No, he's right." Said Sherlock. "Whoever this R is wants something in return."

"Is there anything else in the message Koro-Sensei?" Asked Nezu.

"I'm afraid not." He replied as he put Sherlock's phone on the table.

"If this R messed with Sherlock's notes, then how can we trust the rest?" Questioned Moon.

"I don't believe that any of it is false." Said Bruce.

"You too, believe that R only wanted to show his existence to us?" Asked Xavier.

"Yes, and it would explain some other things." He answered as grabbed a file that was set aside. "In this file given to us by Nezu, it says that White and their group had gotten supplies from an anonymous supplier."

"You think R is that supplier?" Asked Kirigiri as Bruce nodded.

"It would explain why no one has been able to find their supplier." Said Winston. "R is new to the scene and must have been hiding in the shadows for the perfect moment to show his goods." Winston then put his hand to his chin and tapped it. "But, why show themself to us and risk the chance of him getting captured?"

"It appears this R must believe they are quite invincible if they feel like they could message R and not be traced." Said Sullivan. "What worries me is R's sense of justice."

"..." Was all Sherlock said as he pondered everything that's happened.

"Sherlock, do you have any indication on why this R felt like they could... White is at Aldera." Replied Sherlock as he interrupted Smith.

"Huh!?" Exclaimed Smith.

"What m, makes you so s, sure, Sherlock?" Questioned Evritt.

Sherlock then opened Nezu's file and placed Virra Wilder's picture with a picture of the mask that White wore at the crime.

"When the police asked Tsubasa about why they were targeted one thing stuck out to me." Said Sherlock. "Tsubasa and everyone heard Virra say "No way! You're dead. We all saw your hanging body back at my school!"

"I remember reading that in the case file as well." Said Kirigiri.

"The same with me as well." Said Nezu. "I'm guessing you also looked into that as well, Sherlock?"

"Yeah, and I found a six-year-old police report linking to a suicide at Virra's school." Replied Sherlock. "A sixteen-year-old boy named, Mano Unkei. He threw himself off the school roof with a noose tied to the railing and well, I don't think it needs to be said what happened after that."

"That's a couple of days before The Merge happened." Said Kakashi. "I imagine that's when Mano Unkei's suicide got thrown under the rug and no one else looked into it due to the craziness that was happening at that time."

"If we go off that then this White was seven when it happened." Said Gid. "I doubt a child would remember that very well."

"A disturbed child witnessing such an event would remember." Said Layton with a serious look on his face. "A child at such a young age would remember such a horrifying event."

"Where does that place Virra in this then?" Asked Max. "If we are going by this logic, then Virra would be seven-years-old as well wouldn't she?"

"...I was going to get to that." Replied Sherlock as he pulled another file from his bag with Mano Unkei on the front of it with a stamp saying it was the property of the Musutafu Police. "According to this police report, Mano Unkei was charged with the attempted sexual assault of a minor. I asked Naomasa about it and he remembers Mano Unkei being innocent because of his quirk."

"Then why is Mano Unkei in the criminal system?" Asked Asgore.

"Money." Said Nezu and Sherlock at the same time.

"The Wilder family has a history of being involved with the police with it either being the "victim" of an assault or that a company "stole" their ideas." Explained Nezu.

"So they are con artists." Said Casala.

"No, they just believe they can't be touched by the law." Said Bruce. "I have met such people back in my world where they think they can throw money at the problem and make it go away. While those who did nothing wrong are forced to pay regardless of the consequences."

"There is one thing that bothers me about this report." Said Vlad.

"And what would that be?" Asked Xavier.

"That there are no witnesses." He answered pointing to where witnesses would be.

"There is a mention of an anonymous person reporting the incident." Said Asgore.

"Yes, but, that should also be mentioned here." Sadi Vlad. "Even if no name was mentioned the police would have written anonymous on the witness sheet along with the message and yet, there is no such thing written here."

"Maybe this witness was someone bought by the Wilder family?" Asked Moon.

"That would make the most sense, but, the question is this." Said Sherlock with a stern look. "Where are they now?"

"I'll have my people look into Virra's old school to see who worked there at the time." Said Kirigiri as he texted on his phone.

"S, Sherlock." Said Evritt with concern.

"Yes Evritt." Replied Sherlock.

"I, if what you are saying i, is true then w, wouldn't that mean t, that Green is most likely there a, as well?" Asked Evritt.

"It is possible, but, I don't see why Green would be there." Answered Sherlock.

"I have a theory." Said Nezu as all eyes went to him. "In the report, it says that Green fired a bullet at Bakugo which canceled out his quirk. The police weren't able to find the gun that fired it, but, found the bullet that was fired in the warehouse walls."

"What exactly are you getting at Nezu?" Asked Yoro.

"I believe that Green was specifically targeting Katsuki Bakugo." He replied with a hand on Bakugo's picture.

"So Green has some beef with this Bakugo kid." Said Gid. "If that's the case, why didn't they kill him?"

"Yellow... sorry, uh, Bow Wow, said that Green didn't expect everyone to kill Virra and her companions." Said Sherlock.

"...Bow Wow?" Questioned Smith as she looked at Asgore.

"I do not control on what the child's parents call their children." Answered Asgore shyly.

"In short, Green was expecting to cause harm to them, but, nothing life-threatening." Said Xavier.

"Well, Green got their wish." Said Gid. "From what I overheard from some U.A. teachers, he won't be able to participate in hero exams."

"I d, don't think he w, will be satisfied w, with that outcome." Said Evritt.

"I'm afraid I don't understand your logic, Evritt." Said Max.

"G, Green went all this way to h, harm him. T, to possibly a, affect his c, chances for the h, hero exam." He explained as he had Bakugo's picture next to an illustrated picture of Green. "G, granted he is injured k, know and u, unable to do the exam's t, this year, but, w, what's stopping h, him from taking them n, next year?"

'If we get an investigation going down at Aldera any time soon I imagine we will find out what Bakugo has done over the years and get him expelled from every hero course out there.' Thought Sherlock.

'You really despise this child that much, Sherlock?' Asked Xavier.

'Okay, so that's how it feels to have someone send a message in your mind unexpectedly.' Said Sherlock rubbing his head. 'I feel like owe Izuku an apology.'

'You are not the first to have commented on my ability in such a way.' Said Xavier. 'But, this anger towards Bakugo seems rather unnecessary to me. Perhaps you could explain it to me?'

'...I was flying with my quirk one day and came across Aldera.' He replied to Xavier gently. 'I figured I'd surprise Izuku and see how he was doing when I saw Bakugo physically assault Izuku. I would have done something if I wasn't invisible at the time which would have painted a bad picture of me to all those present if I had just appeared out of nowhere.'

'A sound choice, but, you could have reported it to the police." Said Xavier.

'That's the thing, Xavier. I did.' Responded Sherlock as he could see a bit of a shocked look on Xavier's face. 'I never said anything to Izuku about it because he trusted me with that information in private... What he doesn't know is what I heard Bakugo say to Izuku before I left.'

'That being?' Questioned Xavier.

'That Izuku should have taken a swan dive off a roof and hoped for a quirk in the next life like he mentioned before.' Answered Sherlock with hate and malice in his voice. 'I can forgive Izuku for not telling me about his physical abuse from Bakugo, but that... that's what made me report him only to discover that no police report was ever written.'

'This is most distressing.' Said Xavier.

"HEY!" Shouted Gid snapping Xavier and Sherlock's mental conversation. "ARE TWO YOU EVEN LISTENING!?"

"I take it you were having a mental conversation with Sherlock just now, Xavier?" Asked Nezu.

"Yes, and Sherlock has shed some rather disturbing information about Bakugo." Answered Xavier. "It also might be the connection to Green we were looking for."

"What do you... 'Buzz!' Was all Ozpin could say as phones began to buzz randomly.

"What villain attack has that All Might bastard stopped now?" Asked Gid with annoyance.

As everyone took a look at their phone Sherlock picked his up.

"Hello?... Mrs. Midoriya, I normally wouldn't mind talking to you but, right now... What do you mean there was a murder at Izuku's school?" Asked Sherlock as that got the attention of everyone.

X

A couple of hours earlier...

"Okay class!" Exclaimed Mawatari as he clapped his hands. "I know this is a bit random but, I'd like to do a class attendance."

"...It's the middle of the school day, though." Said Genta with a sweatdrop going down his head.

"Yes, but, I never did it at the beginning of class so I apologize in advance." Said Mawatari rubbing his head.

"Okay, let's start with... Ai Haibara.

"Here." Said Ai with a hand raised

"Akazawa Settan"

"Here." He said as fiddled with rock fist quirk.

"Asai Hoshi."

"Here." She said as she flicked a tiny flame into the air.

"Fukushima Taro."

"Here." He said as he flexed activating his quirk.

"Genta Kojima."

"Here." Said Genta with hand raised.

"Himiko Kataoka."

"Here." She said with a smile.

"Ishikawa Tame."

"Here." She said as her hair was floating.

"Izuku Midoriya."

"Here." Said Izuku with a hand raised.

"Katsuki Bakugo."

"..."

"...I see you know." Said Mawatari with an annoyed tone.

"So what?" Questioned Bakugo.

"I'll just take that as your attendance." He said as he went to the last name on the list. "Mitsuhiko Tsuburaya."

"Here!" He exclaimed with a raised hand.

"Ow, that was my fucking ear, dipshit!" Shouted Bakugo with explosions coming from his hand.

"S, sorry." Said Mitsuhiko.

"Bakugo, I'm not going to tolerate foul language in my class." Said Mawatari as Bakugo sat back down. "While I'm at it, it should also be said that there should be no quirks in the classroom."

"But, Mr. Ito let's us." Said Akazawa.

"Well, I'm not Mr. Ito am I?" Asked Mawatari as he watched everyone stop using their quirks all except Bakugo. "Katsuki, I believe I said no quirks."

"I can do whatever I want." Said Katsuki as Mawatari's left eye twitched. "Besides the whole class isn't here anyways so who are we going to hurt?"

"As that may be, if you do not stop your quirk usage right now, you are getting detention." Said Mawatari.

Bakugo was about to yell when he saw the look Mawatari was giving him seeing that he was serious and deactivated his quirk.

"Good." He said as he opened his folder on the desk. "Now I have a special activity to get to know you better." He then began placing papers on the student's desks. "I want you to put your dream job and two jobs you wouldn't mind doing if you couldn't do your dream job."

"Um, Mr. Yoshitoshi, isn't this a bit childish?" Asked Asai.

"Well given how weird the day has been I thought this would be a nice activity to do for study time." Said Mawatari with a smile as he sat down in his chair. "Now take your time everyone. While I can't say I know you are being honest in your answers I trust you... Done." Said Bakugo as slammed the paper onto his desk. "Mr. Bakugo it hasn't even been a minute."

"Tch, I know what I want to do and that's to be a hero." He said with a smile as Mawatari chuckled. "What the hell do you think is so funny!?"

"Here we go." Said Ishikawa.

"It hasn't been one day yet for Mr. Yoshitoshi." Said Fukushima.

"Is losing a substitute teacher a common thing around?" Asked Ai.

"Unfortunately." Said Izuku with a sweatdrop going down his head. 'Come on, Bakugo, you are injured and you're under police protection. Couldn't you just not be yourself right now.' As Izuku thought this Rick's words came back to him. 'Could Rick be right? Is the Bakugo I know gone?'

"I'm sorry, Mr. Bakugo, that was unprofessional of me." Said Mawatari as he kept chuckling. "You just reminded me of a past student I knew before... pfft! Before he died." Everyone was a bit setback by what the teacher said in such a casual way. "He too thought he could be a hero with the record he had and I couldn't help but, haha! Laugh!"

"Shut up." Grunted Bakugo as rage filled his eyes.

"Hahaha! Knowing your history from hahahahaha! From the principal I would be, 'wheez!' Mawatari then leaned back in his chair. "What's, hahahaha! What's wrong with my... SHUT UP YOU FUCKING BASTARD!" Screamed Bakugo as he slammed his hand on the back of Mawatari's chair.

As Bakugo did this it felt like time slowed down. After he had hit Mawatari's chair, Mawatari's face began to swell up from his head to his waist as a bright light blinded everyone. The next few seconds were buzzing noises.

Izuku then opened his eyes as he could hear buzzing still along with some other sounds. However, Izuku's heart dropped when he saw what was in front of him. In front of Izuku was a bloody gory mess.

Bakugo stared in shock at where Mawatari once sat with a hole threw the desk and all bits and pieces of Mawatari that landed on the desks whether they were bones or guts it was on the desks and some on the students as well. The next thing Izuku could correctly hear was screaming.
