"Phone!" Thea shouted, running back to the TARDIS, picking up the hem of her skirt as the Doctor followed after her, carefully carrying a fishbowl. Thea grinned to herself at how he hadnt even questioned her or hesitated to follow. How all it took was for her to say the phone was ringing and he knew she was right. Someone who listened to her and believed her.

They ran into the TARDIS to see Amy at the console, in her nightie, phone to her ear.

"I think that's probably for me!" The Doctor handed the fishbowl to Thea as he took the phone from Amy, "Hello! Ah! Yes, everything's fine! Don't worry. Well exactly," he started to pace as Thea and Amy ducked under the phones wire, "Why should you be worrying? Who even mentioned worrying? She's fine! No, your mum is, your mum is fine," he put the phone to his shoulder as he hissed to Amy, "Don't answer this phone. Thea or I answer this phone."

"Where have you been?" Amy demanded.

"A party." Thea answered her, holding up the fishbowl to eye level, frowning at it.

The Doctor returned the phone to his ear, "Um, yes, your mum is here actually, but she can't come to the phone at the moment. Well, she's…busy. Well, you know…the Commonwealth…" he turned to speak to the fish, "It's your son, ma'am, he wants to talk to you. We can't let him see you like this…well, hear you, not that he could hear you, you're a fish!"

"Actually, I don't think..." Thea began but was cut off as the phone rang again, another call incoming.

"Sorry, I've got another call coming in…" the Doctor switched to the new caller, "Hello?" And winced, hearing very angry yelling on the other side, "There is not a bit of use yelling ambassador, your warrior chief is trapped in my TARDIS and, until you've turned her majesty here back into a human being, he's staying put. Don't worry. He's Perfectly safe..." he trailed off seeing a rolled-up newspaper with a squashed fly on it laying on the console, "Just putting you on hold," he hung up, "What have you done?"

"I thought it was a fly…" Amy shrugged.

"So much for the slaughterer of 10 million souls." Thea muttered.

"What is going on?!" Amy demanded again.

"We were at a party." The Doctor waved her off, "there was a slight incident."

"This is bigger than slight." Thea exclaimed, holding up the fishbowl.

"Wait, what, so you sneak out at night to party?" Amy shook her head, "Is that why you're all dressed up?" she eyed them seeing the Doctor in a dark tux, while Thea was in a long flowy dress in blush pink with thin straps tied on her shoulders, "You never dress up."

"I dress up all the time." Thea defended.

Amy just smirked at her, knowing exactly why Thea dresses up, "is River at the party?"

Oh, she knew the girl snuck out often enough, never knew where she was going, mentioned it to the Doctor once, but never knew if anything came off that. It was only sometimes the girl dressed up nice and she could assume those times were when River was involved. Those two seemed like the type to go out for a night of fun and not twll the Doctor about it, knowing he likely wouldn't aprove.

"Why does that matter?"

"How is she?"

Thea huffed, knowing there was no point in lying to her, "I'll tell her you said hello."

"So, what, were you the one sneaking out again, but got caught by dear old dad, here?" Amy asked her.

"Thank you for warning me she did so." The Doctor told her as Thea rolled her eyes, because that was exactly what happened.

He had seen her headed out in a pretty dress and followed her out as she met River at a party, and they'd sent him back to change into a tux. As soon as he stepped out again everything seemed to have gone wrong. It was like his tux was cursed...or maybe that was just generally him, "But we are in the middle of a thing." He put his hands on Theas shoulders, nudging her back to the doors with the fish.

"Somethings wrong." Thea murmured.

"Doctor," Amy called after them, "Doctor, I…I need to talk to you…there is a reason that I couldn't sleep…"

"...Rory!" The Doctor yelled.

"What are you doing?!" Amy hissed.

"You've got the serious face on." he pointed at her, accusingly, "I always shout for Rory when you've got the serious face. RORY!" He shouted again, "She's having an emotion!"

"And you seriously cannot handle that?" Thea blinked at him before shaking her head and focusing back on the fish, she was sure something wasn't quite right. She just couldnt quite place it. She was certain there was a feeling or something starting to bubble in her gut.

Rory appeared at the top of the stairs, in his dress gown, yawning, having been able to hear the yelling deep in the TARDIS, "What? What's wrong Amy?"

"Why are you calling him?" Amy whispered.

"It's his turn." Thea said distractedly.

"You two have turns?!" Amy looked between the two men, about to start yelling about that when Thea gasped suddenly.

"It's the wrong fish!" She cried.

"What?" the Doctor stared at her.

But Thea had already turned to run back out with the fish, calling to River, "River, its the wrong fish."

The Doctor didn't need to question her as he looked at the Ponds and started to hurry back out himself, "Uh, look sorry you two, I've made a mistake. I've got three hours to save the Commonwealth."

"What happens in three hours?" Rory frowned.

"The pet shops open." Was all he said as he ran back out after Thea, "Thea, find that fish!"

But Thea thrusted the fishbowl in his arms, picked up the hem of her dress and disappeared through the crowd of party goers.

"Oi!" He shouted, peering through the crowd, able to recognise River through the crowd, seeing her leaning over and laughing. He could see both River and Thea laughing about something, both looking over at him which had him waving at them, pointing to the wrong fish in his arms...which only made them laugh harder.

Okay, so seeing as it might have been in fault in the place they were going to leave him to fix this on his own.

He was going to have to look deep in his brain for those old parent tricks he used to have.
