How foolish

Sasuke held his hand out and absorbed the dark powered blast.

"Well I tried to cooperate with them Sasuke, but as you and I both know, Gods are too prideful." Naruto said.

"You dare defy me? That won-" The God of Darkness was interrupted by a strong hand on his throat. He couldn't move.

"You talk a lot for being as weak as you are. I'll gladly take that power away from you." Sasuke said with a cold smirk.

"Brother!" The God of Light was about to attack Sasuke, but was held at bay by one of Naruto's Shadow Clones that he summoned.

Sasuke's Eternal Rinnegan glowed as he used the Preta Path. The God of Darkness horrified and fearful expression was the last thing that was seen before he was gone forever.

Sasuke then immediately turned towards the God of Light. "Tell me..why shouldn't I kill you next?" He asked as he turned fully towards him.

The God of Light struggled against the clone's grip. "You killed my Brother..you will pay for this!" He yelled hatefully at Sasuke.

"Wrong answer." Sasuke said and then appeared in front of him. Before the God of Light could retort, Sasuke repeated the same action. "Good riddance." He said.

"As much as I preferred for that not to happen, it was going to happen considering how the brother Gods acted. Who knew what they would've done if they've gotten too angry." Naruto said.

"Right. Remnant could have been targeted. Here Naruto. You can have the God of Light's power. I'll keep the God of Darkness's." Sasuke said and then walked towards Naruto. He placed a hand on his shoulder and transferred the God of Light's power.

Naruto felt the new power. It was as if his very being changed. He felt divine and knew Sasuke felt the same way.

"This makes us true Gods now doesn't it Sasuke?" Naruto asked as he clenched and unclenched his fists.

"I suppose it does." Sasuke responded. He and Naruto's eyes suddenly widened as specific thoughts entered their minds.

Naruto was the first to snap out of it. ".. I know what you're thinking Sasuke..and I'm thinking about it too, but let's finish up matters in this world first." He said and patted Sasuke's shoulder.

Sasuke took a breath to calm himself down. Naruto's right, they couldn't leave yet while there's still unsolved problems. "Let's go back to Cinder. Now it's time to handle the Salem and Ozma situation." He said. Naruto nodded and Sasuke activated his Eternal Rinnegan. A portal appeared and both went into it, back in Remnant.

-Cutscene-

Ruby looked out the window of her bedroom. Her Dad, Yang, and she made it back to Patch after the emergency evacuation. She didn't know what happened with everyone else.

An image of Sasuke and Naruto came into her mind. The two were..extraordinary and that was an understatement. She wondered where they even came from as they appeared so suddenly.

But heroes tend to show up late

And heroes they indeed were. The powers she witnessed Sasuke used..were unlike anything she have seen before. She knew Naruto had similar like abilities.

A familiar phrase then popped into her head.

"Be safe."

She smiled as she remembered those were the last words she spoke to Sasuke. Red then started to creep up on her face as she remembered what she also did to him.

She couldn't say it was from impulse because she actually wanted to do it.

Ah Sasuke..

He made her feel feelings she wasn't accustomed to. Feelings no boy have ever made her feel before. She wasn't dumb..she knew exactly what they were, but she was very inexperienced on what to do with them. She remembered when her Mom was alive and how she acted with her Dad.

An sudden image of her and Sasuke kissing entered her mind.

She turned as red as a tomato, both at the image and the fact she liked it..yeah that's enough thinking for now.

Knock Knock Knock

"Ruby you have company outside!"

She heard her Dad yell out. Well whoever it was came at a convenient time. She probably would've thought of Sasuke and her some more..she couldn't wait to see and talk to him again.

A warm and sweet smile came onto Ruby's face as she left with that last thought.

-Cutscene-

Weiss deeply sighed as she sat on her bed. She hated being here..in the same vicinity of her Father nonetheless. She was happy to see her sister Winter at least.

That Grimm attack came out of nowhere, but she was sure that Naruto and Sasuke had something to do with it. She had faith in the two though that they had it handled. If they could regenerate an arm and bring Penny back to life, surely they could handle the Grimm right?

Naruto himself has caught her interest and not just because of how handsome he was.

He reminded her of how her Mother was in the beginning until her Father changed her. Kind, caring, and warm..she instantly sensed those from his Aura and his smile.

She warmly smiled as she remembered what she told him.

She looked forward to having that talk.

Salem and her inner circle was gathered at the meeting table as they waited for them.

Who exactly they were she had no idea. The only thing she knew was that they were immeasurably powerful.

Millions of Grimm reacted to the dark power that eerily reminded her of a specific someone. She almost thought it was the person himself, but it wasn't.

She thought her Grimm would completely obliterate and destroy whoever it was that brought them forth. After all it was more than a million of them right? Oh how wrong she was.

Now she sat on her throne because she knew they were coming for her. She cut down the building senses of dread and apprehension.

"So where's Cinder and the other two?" Arthur asked as he looked at Salem.

Salem released a breath and looked back at him. "I..don't know." she responded.

Tyrian gave a crazed smile. "Haha so that bitch and her crew finally got killed it seems? Good because she was annoying." He laughed.

"Is that so?"

Salem and her inner circle turned as they seen a group of people. First were two guys, Cinder and her crew..but the last truly surprised her. She could sense his hateful presence immediately.

"Ozma." Salem's voice had a dripping venom of hatefulness attached to it as she said it.

"Hello..my love." Ozma said as he took over the young boy he was reincarnated in. His name was Oscar Pine.

"..Don't you call me that." She said as she slammed her hands on the table.

Salem's inner circle was deeply confused as they watched the unexpected interaction.

"..what is this supposed to be? Some type of reunion? And who's Whiskers and the dark emo?" Tyrian asked curiously.

Sasuke's finger twitched as he was about to erase Tyrian. Naruto raised his hand.

"Look everyone, we didn't come to fight or start any conflict. We've come to put an end to a long and drawn out war." He said calmly.

"And just who are you?" Salem scowled his way.

"Naruto Uzumaki and he's Sasuke Uchiha..we're going to free you." He said.

Now Salem could say she didn't honestly expect to hear that. "..what do you mean?" She asked with surprise.

Sasuke intervened. "He means exactly that, but everyone deserves a second chance..even you. Now normally we would go through a talking phase but we know just that wouldn't be able to convince you..so this should suffice." He said.

Salem glared at Sasuke's eyes. "What are y-"

Sasuke activated his Sharingans and Salem immediately fell in a trance.

Ozma looked up at Naruto. "Are you sure this is going to work?" He asked.

Naruto smiled. "Of course as I've said before trust me and Sasuke." He said.

Cinder then followed. "They were able to save me, so believe in them." She said with a smile.

When Naruto and Sasuke gathered all of them and explained everything it was..surprising to say the least. The fact that Salem would gather an 'inner circle' in the means of her own selfish desire sounded just like her..she knew not to trust her in the beginning. She was apologetic to Ozpin or 'Ozma' for killing him. Fortunately he forgave her as he noticed her change. She thought they were really generous for offering someone like Salem a second chance even after all she's done. She almost laughed. A bit hypocritical she was.

Sasuke deactivated his Sharingans. He was sure if he wasn't what he was now, then using the Izanagi would have been extremely taxing to use, but fortunately he's long since changed. He let out a grin.

"It is done." He said. Coming into this world has taught him a lot. Mainly caring about and doing for other people. He could see why Naruto was the way he was now. It filled him with the fruits of happiness when he would do those types of things.

Ozma took a step towards Salem. "..Salem?" He said expectantly.

Salem's head was down and then she slowly looked at him. Tears were falling down her eyes as her face was one of guilt, regret, and sadness.

Ozma immediately ran to her and gave her a tight hug.

Naruto smiled at them. He could sense their feelings and the Izanagi did indeed worked. Strange..he now could sense malice and evil too..what?

"I won't stand by and watch this lovey dovey and redeemed bullshit! This world must burn!!" Tyrian now yelled.

"I agree. Atlas will fall and no one will get in my way!" Arthur followed.

"Let's kill Whiskers and Emo first and then we'll get the rest. HA!" Tyrian and Arthur was about to attack Naruto and Sasuke.

"Stand down." Naruto's voice changed as he said it. He directed his bloodlust at Tyrian and Arthur specifically and both were slammed flat on the ground. "If you both attempt something foolish like that again or try to harm this world. Then I will personally kill you myself." Naruto said as he waited for the point to sink in and then released his killing intent. Tyrian and Arthur were sweating and shaking frantically.

Cinder gave an amused smirk. That's what he gets for calling her out of her name.

Salem and Ozma were finally done and looked at Naruto and Sasuke.

"Words cannot explain how much we thank you both." Ozma said with an extremely grateful smile.

"Don't thank us just yet. Sasuke." Naruto called out. Sasuke nodded and went to Ozma and Salem.

"This may sting a bit..but me and Naruto will make it as fast as possible." Sasuke said.

"Wha-" Ozma started but was interrupted.

"Human Path." Sasuke quickly pulled the soul of Ozma out of the young boy. "Now." He called to Naruto.

Naruto snapped his hand and a bright light overcame the room.

Once the light died down, a new man could be seen.

He was brown and had platinum hair. He wore blue regal attire.

Ozma looked over his true self and was speechless.

"Now for you." Sasuke said and placed a hand on Salem's shoulder. He absorbed all of the darkness within her and everyone watched as Salem's being changed now.

A new beautiful blonde woman was seen. Salem opened her eyes and looked herself over. She now had a similar look to Ozma on her face.

"Good. It worked. Great teamwork Sasuke." Naruto said with a wide grin and held out a fist.

Sasuke smirked and fistbumped Naruto.

"My beautiful love..it's been far too long." Ozma smiled as he looked at Salem.

Salem had a blush on her face as she smiled back. "..It has we will have to make up for lost time." She giggled.

"Okay okay you two..get a room." Naruto laughed. "Anyways Sasuke and I have to go now. We'll take Oscar back." He said.

"Awe can't you both stay for a while? I'll have a feast be made." Salem suggested.

"As tempting as that sounds, Naruto and I have to do something important. We appreciate the offer though." Sasuke said.

Naruto suddenly glanced at the man who haven't said anything this entire time. "..Hazel right? You should go back to your village..your sister is waiting for you." He said as he smiled at him.

Hazel's eyes widened as he immediately stood up..this couldn't be, but the honesty and warmness in the man's tone said otherwise.

He ran out and left. If this was true, he innerly thanked Naruto a million times over.

"And you two don't be such assholes next time..ease up." Naruto directed towards Tyrian and Arthur who nodded. "That's it from me. Whenever you're ready Oscar." He said.

Ozma finished thanking Oscar for letting him take over his body. "I wish you the best young one." He said with a smile.

"Likewise." Oscar smiled back and then walked back to Naruto and Sasuke.

"We wish you both well on your journey. If you need anything don't hesitate to ask." Ozma said to Naruto and Sasuke who nodded. They then teleported with the rest after wishing them goodbye.
