Lucy POV
I arrived at the train station and bought one ticket. After that, I sat in the chair and waited for a couple of minutes for the train to arrive. As I keep waiting, I keep myself busy, and later on, the train arrived. I entered the train and placed my things on top of my seat. I took a seat next to the window, and the train started to move.
I miss Natsu feeling that motion sickness while we are riding the train, and he always keeps telling me that he will never ride a train again. I summon Plue again to let me join in on my ride, and I keep telling him about what happened in my day, and about an hour ago he returned to the celestial world.
I am looking right now at the window and enjoying the beautiful view outside. And then I suddenly felt sleepy and take a nap for a while because it will be a long ride.
(5 hours and 40 mins later)
As I wake up, I look outside and saw that the sun is still not setting assuming it is around 4pm or 5pm. So, about a minute we will now arrive. I am still looking outside and later on I saw the train station. It means that we are near. I took my things in the top of my seat and fix myself waiting for departure.
The train stops as we arrived in the train station and I get off the train and explore the place to look for the Farm De Vairone. Finally, for almost 30 minutes of walking I now reached the destination. I look around because I don't see any people wondering around.
"Are you from Fairy Tail?" a girl voice spoke up and I keep searching where the voice came from and I saw a type of communication lacrima which is I assumed it's where the voice came from.
"Yes, I am Lucy Heartfilia a celestial mage from Fairy Tail "Oh, come inside" after she said that, the gate opens by itself and it reveals the person inside who I think is my client. There is a short man who is the same with gramps and in his left, there are two maids and I think in the right is his butler.
"Welcome Ms. Heartfilia, let me introduced myself. I am Ryu Vairone the owner of this farm and this" he said and point to the sack full of vegetables "we really need it to sell, we don't want to spoil these many vegetables. I did try to sell it but I can't finish it all. So, I really need someone's help. I think you're willing to accept this job because you flew over a 7-hour ride for this job" he said reassuring me that I will take the job.
"Oh yes, will I start right now?" I asked him "you can if that's what you want but I think you can do it tomorrow it's already getting darker" he said to me "it's okay I can do it right now" I want this job to be finish, so I can go back home tomorrow "are you sure? I know you're tired from your trip and this task can be done tomorrow" he said to me in a worried look
"I'm sure beside I take a nap while I was in the train so I still have more energy to do it today" I said "okay then, Mary and Claire, please escort her. Thank you" we go straight to the house and escort me where can I change and also where I can leave my things. After I changed, I get my whip and keys and put it in my belt.
"Here lucy-san, the total sack of vegetables you need to sell is 50" one of the maids said to me.
Third Person POV
Lucy starts to sell around 7pm and she is done with the 50 sacks of vegetable by 12am with the help of Virgo and Loke her celestial spirit. When lucy is done with her job and finally get her reward, she immediately leaves the farm and go to the train station without her noticing someone is following her.
Lucy POV
I bought a ticket to go back to magnolia, I won't stay here. I'll just sleep in the train again so that I can be home by tomorrow morning. About an hour the train finally arrives and I get on the train and take a rest. I wake up when the train stops declaring that the train now arrive at Magnolia. When I get off, I first go to guildhall.
"Hi Mira-chan! I'm home" I said to her when I see, good thing she didn't enter the guild yet. "Good morning, Lucy, good thing you're back" she turns around then look at me and smile "I will be back later. I'm tired, I didn't get enough sleep" I said and I yawned "oh, you must be really tired. Have a rest now, Lucy" she said and I bid her goodbye and start to walk to my place. When I entered my apartment, I jump off the bed and take goodnight sleep.
(Later that day)
I woke up in the middle of the night because of the cold breeze that touch my skin, my window is open. Are they home? I stood up and searched for a pink haired guy or salmon because he will say that it's salmon not pink and a blue cat but I can't find them. Maybe I'm just imagining them because I miss them being here every night. I go to my kitchen and cook for myself and take a bath after. I decide to go to the guild to look for them.
When I reached the guild, I only saw some people and Mira-chan who is in the bar "Mira-chan, did they get home?" I asked to her and she look at me "Who Natsu?" she said while she teasing me "Oh not only him" I blushed a little because she might get the wrong idea why I'm asking "Erza's Team didn't go home yet but maybe they will be home later and as for NATSU, happy and Lisanna they didn't pass by yet" she said while she emphasized the name of Natsu then she laughing like she is teasing me.
"Oh, stop it Mira-chan, I will get going now. I just passed by" I quickly leave the guild before she teases me more and make me blush that she might think I have something with Natsu.
(The next day)
Early in the morning, I decided to go to the guild after I fix myself "Mira-chan, are they here?" I ask her and then I sit in the stool chair "Natsu and Happy went outside with Lisanna again, I don't know where did they go but Lisanna is holding a picnic basket" Mira-chan said and I just nod. They didn't get home since yesterday and we didn't talk or see each other often now but it's okay as what I said they really missed each other.
I leave the guild to get some fresh air and let my feet decide where we will go. When I arrived in the park, I saw a familiar pink hair and a short haired girl. Is that Natsu and Lisanna? Are they Kissing!? Why I feel this, why I'm hurting, what's happening I can't look away, I want to cry, I want to leave but now my feet suddenly stop and don't want to go anywhere.
"L-lucy?" I hear Happy's voice shuttering. I look at him and then I look at Natsu and Lisanna who are now looking at me. I ran fast to get out there quickly, I don't want to go home right now or to the guild. I need to think for a while.
Natsu POV
(Earlier that day)
"Natsu let's go picnic later. I miss the moments when we go to the park" Lisanna said to me "Sure but let's invite Lucy, she might feel sad if we don't invite her" I said to her and she nod. She is now carrying happy who are sleeping because he is too tired to catch fish all day.
As we reached the guild, Lisanna said she will pack the this and I go to Mira and ask if she sees Lucy "She is home taking a rest, she just got home yesterday doing a job alone" she said after I sit in the stool and when I heard what she says I stand up immediately "WHAT!? SHE WENT ALONE!?"
"Easy, it's not that hard. She will just sell vegetables" Mira said while laughing at my reaction "O-oh, is that right? Okay, then" I said and sit again in the stool "Natsu! Happy! Let's go, I'm done packing now" We bid goodbye to Mira who are still looking at me with a tease in her eyes on what happened earlier.
We walk to the park and feel the fresh wind of Magnolia. When we reached our spot, I placed the picnic mat and Happy is strolling around in the park while me and Lisanna are eating. While we are eating, I saw there is an icing in Lisanna's face, I use my left hand and place it in her face and wipe it and then I heard Happy's voice.
"L-lucy?" happy said while his voice is shuttering and then I look at Lucy and she suddenly run. Why did she run? Did we scare her or what? Or maybe her stomach ache. I wonder while I keep eating. "Won't you follow her?" Lisanna asked "No, I will talk to her when I see her in guild later" I said to her and look at happy who is now have a teary eye. What really did happen?
Lucy POV
I stroll around and I just suddenly think where is the safe place to go when I feel this. I need to say it to Mira-chan so that they don't have to be worried about me. I go back to the guild and look around to see if Natsu and Happy or Lisanna's here and I'm right they're not here yet. I immediately go to Mira-chan who are talking to wendy and others.
"Mira-chan" I said "Why Lucy?" she looks at me "I will just leave for a while but I will be back soon" I said to her and her eyes starts to worry "where will you go, Lucy-san?" Wendy asked me "Just around outside Magnolia, I will be back I promise. Goodbye guys!" I waved at them and leave the guild quickly. Mira-chan is shouting but I can't hear it, for sure Mira-chan won't let me leave.
When I reached home, I packed things and quickly go to train because it will arrive anytime soon. When the train arrived, I quickly get in and wonder around on why I feel like this, do I have something on Natsu? But it can't be right? he and I are just best friend and he thinks of me just that, no more than best friend. I am zoning out for an hour or maybe hours without noticing that I finally arrived in my destination. I search for hotel that is cheaper for me to stay for a while.
When I check in, in a cheaper hotel which is only 10,000 jewel. I settle my things there and take a dinner because it's around 6pm I think. After I ate, I bought flowers and go to my safe place which is where is my mom buried. I reached at her tombstone and place in the top of it the flower I bought for her.
"Mom, I miss you so much. I haven't visit you in months. Do you know when I joined Fairy Tail, I became happy again because I felt a strong love for them, they considered me as their family even though we are not related by blood and my wished to become a wizard of Fairy Tail was fulfilled thanks to Natsu. I wish you were here so you can feel how much love they give but I know that wherever you are in heaven, you feel it and still watching over me" I said while smiling and then my eyes get watery. I take a lean back and soon I felt sleepy.
