Chapter 71:Sabotour
In the haylay household right now it was rather silent mainly being because dravan was siting in an eerie silence. As his brother jaki was sitting in a chair staring at him with a disppaointed look. While verona was their petting snickers as the small dog was sleeping on her lap. With nina right now gushing over her newest grandchild she just heard off.
While close by was calida who was getting some tea ready as thetis sat on a couch. The adults where very queit mainly being because a certain weaponsmith needed to talk to his brother about something. A clock kept ticking away in the room making each click even more nerve racking as no on spoke at first.
Nina was gushing over luna pinching her cheeks"well aren't you just the most adorable little faunus. Yes you are, yes you are"she said cooing over the tot who seemed rather annoyed that her cheeks where getting pinched.
"No pinchy"luna protested making the older women wanna keep doing it.
Thetis chuckled"quite a surprise to see you with a child now drav. How old is she?"she asked starting some small conversation to be rid of the silence.

Calida was placing the tea tray down grabbing a cup of warm liquid pouring it into a cup. Then repeated this a few times for everyone else to get a drink as she sat down taking a sip of her tea. It felt sweet since she put honey in it.

Nina huffed placing luna on her knee bouncing her up and down for a bit as the girl seemed to enjoy giggling a little.
"Please do because for starters i'm rather disappointed in you. Both of you despite not even being blood related formed a bond. But to make your own family think your dead is deplorabale"nina coldy said as he felt hurt hearing that from his family. But he understand why their mad as he was trying not to flip out on all of them right now. Because the reason he did it might hurt his brother cold heart.
Verona sighed looking down"look my husband had a very good reason to stay in hiding"she backed up.
Jaki clenched his fist crossing his arms as ice was slowly crawling up his hands. For starters it better be a good reason if not he'll have one of their sibling brawls back then when they didn't really like each other alot. He just kept tapping his foot keeping an ict glare on his brother.
"Oh really? Because it better be good"jaki said getting up slowly marching toward him.
"Because for five year….five long year! I thought you were dead after my daughter visited your village. You told me its a safe place that no one ever really travels that far"jaki begun his rant as he kept stomping each step emphazing his words.
Dravan sighed standing up"look brother, i know your very mad at me but i.."he was stopped as his adoptive brother shoved him in the chest hard. It caused a small patch of ice to appear on his chest as it hissed with an icy mist.
"I'm more than mad! When I heard your village was attacked i gathered everyone i knew that where huntsman and huntress in mistral! Rushing over to see the entire village decimated with burning buildings and body everywhere!"jaki continued as he seethed in rage as he kept jabbing him in the chest. While the others let it happened as calida knew he felt very hurt, she herself was overjoyed and mad he stills alive.
"I search everywhere for you! But no…all i find is your arm…and weapon…and that dam scarf my daughters made you"he continued taking a breath as he lowered his head with tears starting to form.
Dravan felt guilty seeing him but was getting mad himself because for starters he thought he did something so unspeakable he didn't deserve to return home at all for thinking he killed his own niece.
"Look dear calm down, because your not starting a fight in the house"calida said trying to guide him to sit down but he tossed her hands off. Then he grabbed the large brute by the collar bringing him down to his level to reveal him with tears slipping out of his eyes.
"Why the hell didn't you come back home you dam idiot!"jaki cired loudly as the jackal faunus closed his eyes clenching his fist tight. As he snapped himself before glaring at him with tears himself.
"Because i thought i killed your daughter!"dravan shouted loudly as his tail drooped to the ground. As jaki blinked for a moment caught offguard why he went into hiding. Calida covered her mouth slightly with an upset expression. While thetis closed her eyes upset that her old friend would even think that.
As nina just felt hurt that her eldest adoptive son went into hiding because he thought he killed one of her granddaughter his brother had. The older women was a little hurt hearing he would do that. Jaki stood their processing this slowly undoing his hold on the man collar as tears still dripped from his eyes. They sat in another silence for a moment as dravan sat down holding his head with his one arm.
Calida shook her head"what would make you think you killed my daughter?"she questioned shocked
"She right, because the news would have reported something like that."thetis added
Verona sighed as snicker woke up from the yelling yipping slightly but then jumped off wandering around the house to do whatever the small dog does here. The bat faunus walked over wrapping her arms around the man patting his back.
"Lets just say drav said he rather not see anything related about the hayley family. Kept telling himself he rather not be reminded of him killing his niece"verona saldy said
"Dear whyb exactly did you think you killed your niece? Because if i recall you threw her into a cellar for safe keeping"nina asked as the man rubbed his eyes getting the tears away.
"Look i'll tell you and keep it short for you. I'd love my dramatic tall talls but this isn't so nice"dravan sadly said as he decided to tell his family and teammates on what happened that fateful day. How he lost his arm, and how he thought he killed his own niece having to go into hiding.
Five years ago.
It was five years ago in the anima in the same village just like all that time ago. But it was still in chaos right now as grimm ravaged the entire town. Though right now fighting right now with a smile on his face was drvan hayley. The man was having fun as he raised his morning star mace smashing in a grimm head in killing it.
While he kept smaching and launching grimm in every direction to clear this village of their attackers. But he knew he needed to stay alive to keep his niece alive for his brother. He needed to live today to make sure she didn't die.
The grimm kept coming at him snarling at their new ginormous prey that was smashing and slaugthering their fellow grimm in quick succession. The jackal raised his mace bringing it down on a beowulf caving in its skull to a fine pulp as it disappeared. Another two grimm roared pouncing toward him to overwhelm him but he reeled his mace back. Then swung forward launching the two grimm into some bruning debirs as they began to burn in the flames roaring in pain.
Though he was getting tired as the distant screams of the villagers around him were getting less and less. All of them people hes know for a whole decade now being killed off like nothing while hes trying to save anyone. But kept failing with so many grimm as he panted ehavily with sweat beating down his bodie.
"Dam…alot of these dam things….gotta keep going…to save my niece"dravan said as he swung hard into a grimm stunning it momentarily. The grimm shook it off slashing at him taking a large chunk of his aura as it began to flicker several times. Then ultimately it shattered in a dark purple haze but he wasn't going to lay down and die. The grimm came at him again as he roared swinging one more time making its head whip back far enough cracking its neck as it layed dead.
Dravan stood their panting heavily right now exhausted as the grimm were still feasting upon his friend. But as he stood their soon a pair of sickening laughter could be heard like a psychotic duo.
"Awww is the big man already tired"a women voice said cackling like a psycho.
"It appear so my dear lets put him out of his misery"a male voice said as he heard a piar of footsteps rushing toward him. Dravan turned to be met by tyrian and selket callows as he blocked the two strikes as selkets cloak was thrown off to the winds.
Dravan panted as the two serial killers landed but he noitced her apperance to be very offputting since her skin was pure ghost white. Along with the grimm like apendgaes on her body as her tail swayed around.
"What the hell are you!"dravan asked as selket began to laugh pinching her claws smirking at him.
"Nothing much deary, just the next step in evolution i'm a grimm hybrid"selket answered sweetly making him shiver because that didn't make her sound sweet.
Tyrian cackled as he scrapped his guanlent blades together"yes my dear wife new form is quite alluring. Shame this will be the last thing you'll see"he said as a smirk came to the man face.
"Dam you married someone pretty ugly i feel bad for you"dravan joked panting still as the two serial killers stood frozen. Selket tail began to thrash around in anger as tyrian gritted his teeth as his tail did the same. The scorpion roared lurching forward beginning to deliver several deadly blows to him striking at his aura several times. While he tried to block them as he kept getting slashed up grunting with each hit as blood was being drawn.
The jackal pushed back hard with his strength he still had kicking the man back hard in the gut. Though immediately something was warped around his right arm as he felt very light on the right side. But he glnaced down in shock right now.
Laying on the ground was his right arm and his weapon as his wound kept spuritng blood as he roared in pain holding his arm. The culprit being selket who licked her bloody claw as she used her tail to launch him back. He went flying hard into a building hard as he gasped for air, as the two stood infront of him.
"Not so tough now big boy…and you lost a piece of yourself."selket taunted placing her hands on her knees.
Dravan groaned growling bearing my canines"so what…i..i'll keep going gotta make sure my brothers kid isn't dead."he said as tyrian had a wild grin appear on his face cackling slightly before kneeling infront of him.
"Oh i know who your talking about. I saw her with you a little girl with blonde hair?"tyrian asked making the man flinch as he had tears forming. Selket giggled at this before pointing her claw somewhere.
"I think thats her over their dragged her out of a house. But she sleeping"selket said as he looked over going wide eyed. To see a girl with blonde hair facing away from his but laying their lifeless as blood pooled beaneath jackal faunus just had a breakdown sobbing right now burying his face in the ground pounding his fist hard into the dirt.
"No..no…no…i'm sorry…i'm so sorry little brother…i'm sorry"dravan sobbed uncontrollable as he just waited for the sweet release of death. Though they had different ideas as tyrian forced him up to his feet with ease.
"Aww don't be upset. Besides you'll join her soon but lets make this fun. Your going to run into those woods"he started pointing to the nearby woods.
Selket curled her tail around her husband shoulder"while me and my honey chase you down. Refuse and i'll have my pet devour her coprse not giv-"She was stopped as he broke free running off into the woods surprising the two. Though he just sprinted through the woods with his remaining strength with tears running down his eyes as he felt like he betrayed his family right now.
The man kept running for what felt like hours as he could hear the twos cackling behind him in the distance. But after some time he didn't hear it anymore but just kept running not even knowing where he was. Dravan just running until eventually running through some brush panting falling to his knees gasping for air.
The man just accepted his fate right now to bleed out in the middle of nowhere. Though instead a voice spoke up familiar to him.
"Dravan?!"a female voice said as he looked up to see raven standing their with a band of her warriors. With verona next to her with her sniper at the ready.
"Rae you know this guy?"she asked but noticed his missing limb bleeding. Immedialty some tribe warriors began to treat his wound as he fell on his back sobbing uncontrollable still. Raven knelt down confused grasping his one remaining arm.
"Dravan what happened to you? We heard your village was under attack what happened to it"raven asked
Dravan quivered a breath sobbing still"i'm sorry…i'm sorry brother…i'm sorry she dead…i'm sorry"he cired several times. As the women figured out what happened as they decided to make their leave bringing him to their camp. While he just felt guilt ridden for what he did, that he killed his own niece.

As he finished his story he had tears streaming down his face covering it. While verona still held him close as the four took it what they heard. Calida had tears herself with an upset look as nina felt heartbroken, as jaki looked at him.
"Thats why…you…you thought you killed my daughter?"calida asked as he swallowed to gain his composure and voice.
"I did, i felt terrible that you probably wouldn't want me around. That i killed your o–"he was stopped as jaki wrapped his arms around him in an embrace burying his head into his chest.
"Shut up you dam fool. You saved my little girl we found her safe in that cellar alive. You didn't kill her"jaki cried as the jackal reutnred it with his one arm holding him close as the two brothers held it for a bit until separating. Then the cold man glanced to his workshop walking inside for a bit then walked back out with measuring tape.
Without a word he began to measure his brother numb confusing him for a moment.
"What are you doing?"Verona questioned but hope it seems.
Dravan looked at jaki as he wrapped the measure around the numb"for starters…i made my little girl a leg to give her the ability to walk"he started finishing as he picked up a notepad writing down several things in it. As he was coming up with a new project.
"That if i hurry tonight i could make the plate and arm if i ask the Alex to help me. He can make the plate while i make the arm."he continued setting the notepad down walking over to his mantle picking up something that belong to his brother.
The man looked seeing his old weapon infnity in his hand but jaki struggled to hold up the large mace. Dravan chuckled walking over picking it up easily with one hand.

Meanwhile across town right now walking the streets of argus was eria and company. Though with a chipper mood and pep in her step right now. Mainly because she was very happy right now, her leader was alive.
"So where exactly are we heading to this grand weapon factory"falk asked admiring the city.
"Yeah. because seriously this place is like huge where exactly would he have a weapon factory?"emerald added but eria was ignoring them in her own world humming to herself. The four noticed her new demenor guessing she was very happy right now.
Yang chuckled slightly"oh no princess ice queen heart has been melted. We lost both the heirs to the throne"She dramatically said earning a laugh from them.

"Heyya waterboy been a long time."yang greeted with a high five as he returned it.
"Same here blondie. Man its so weird seeing you again after so long"neptune replied still smiling

Once inside they passed the recpeiosnit desk as she let them inside immediately not even bothering to check their ID. after walking through the hallways promoting the company logo with someone smiling holding a shotgun in their hands ready to blast away anything. "So whats our plan?"emerald asked
"For starters we'll head to the foremans office, usually one of my father boardmembers are their"eria said as they reached a new set of doors with the sound of heavy mahcierny being heard behind it.

They emerged on a catwalk that overlook the entire factory, yang was surprised at what she saw below her.
Their were lines of convery belts that had a line of weapon parts on them along with several crates being moved around. The place was filled with loud machinery along with several workers hard at work ranging from faunus and human. But the faunus had no SDC collars instead a company pin of a gear with an H in the center. All of them smiling happy and hard at work.
"Whoa this is amazing, how many facorirtes does your dad own?"emerlad questioned in awe of the place as from the side someone else spoke up.
"If i recall my employer has told me he owns over seventeen factories around mistral. His main one being here with about thirteen dust mines"a female voice said as they truend to the source. That being beatrix milbourne with someone else familiar being a bunny faunus detective.
"Miss milbournes its a pleasure to see you again"eria greeted with a bow as the women returned it.
Nancy chuckled as her ears twitch"same here kiddio, though hows it hanging skyguy you and your crew succeed in your job"She greeted as falk chuckled shaking her hand.

Bashira riased an eyebrow at that last name recalling thsiite having a aunt who worked for the SDC company.
"Wait a minute you wouldn't happen to be related to a thsiite yoder would you?"bashira asked as the old women was surprised.
"Do you know my niece?"she asked
"Know her i'm her team leader. Bashira benkei leader of team BBNT"bashira introduced herself with a simply bow. As the older women seemed overjoyed to hear that right now, before bahsira knew it she was embraced by her as she separated.
"Thats wonderful to hear. I've already met that cat faunus on her team and that…pardon my french. Scoundrel"beatrix replied as she meant naca vincent making the girl laugh sighing.
"That would be naca my partner."bahsira replied as the rest of them made introduction all except for neptune and eria.
"I'm yang xiaolong and this here is emerald susarti"yang intorudcd herself gesturing to emerald who waved.
"Pleasure all mine, though since your here guessing your here to help us with the recent sabotage attacks"nancy said leaning against a railing.
"We are, because these weapons are being sent to some people we know. "Yang replied very worried but glanced down at a nearby convery belt. It showed a freshly made shield that bore something the white fang symbol but colored in gold with black, bearings it news coat.
Beatrix sighed"yes my employer has told me some faunus are willing to stand up against the white fang. But as of late someone in some strange clothing keeps attacking"beatrix explained though as this happened from one of the nearby vents green gas started to seep into the room. Hissing slightly as it slowly filled the room as down below a few of the workers were not infact workers.
About six of them pulled out gasmask as they were slipping them on then one produced a gas grenade. Pulling the pin they threw it into a crowd of workers.
"Hey what the…"the worker stopped before suddenly feeling sleepy yawning going limp on the ground. As a few others did this but above emerald glanced down seeing gas starting to fill the room, a very familiar gas.
"So your saying one guy has been doing this?"falk qeustioned yawning slightly feeling really dizzy right now.
"Yep anyone else feeling…really dizzy all of a sudden?"bashira questioned holding her head wobbling.
"Cover your mouth don't inhale any of it, its a nerve toxin that can immbolzie you"emerlad warned as quickly yang took her bandana off her arm wrapping it around her mouth quickly, as falk quickly pulled out a cloth covering his mouth with it. Eria cougehd slightly but tore the scarf off her bat then quickly wrapped her mouth up. But unfortunately neptune inhaled the gas yawning rubbing his eyes.
"Man…i..feel very sleepy"neptune said passing out on the spot. Beatrix felt very dizzy sliding down slumping over. While nancy placed her hands over her mouth but lost it passing out falling down. Bashira tried to stay up falling to the ground.
"What…the…heck is happening"bashira said before closing her eyes blacking out. While the remainder of them were awake as from the doors secrrutiy guards busted in with gas mask on.
"What happened here?!"a guard asked with his pistol out.
"I don't know, someone gased the place and.."falk was stopped as bullet whizzed past his head. Glancing down yang noticed six workers firing upon them pistols in hand with the intent to kill. While they all took cover immedaitly.
"It was an inside job. Of course someone probably placed gas grenades in the ventilation system"eria groaned at the thought taking tundra out. Yang retracted her guanlents as emerald took out her kama sickles.
"Yeah though how'd you know what the gas is?"yang questioned as the red eyed girl knew their sabotor.
"The gas is familiar because–"she was stopped as she kicked hard getting launch off the catwalk getting sent down below. They all looked at the culprit as someone stood their in a dark green bodysuit showing off their athletic body with a serpent imprint on the right arm. Along with them wearing a gas mask as they inhaled deep. But in their hands they brandished a khopesh blade.
"Seems we got our sabtour"falk said raising his sword stabbing foward but the intruder blocked his strike. The two began to swap blow with each other dealing strikes to each other. While the guards rushed down to the factory floor to assist emerald. Emerald slowly got up as eria looked at the thugs approaching her. Quickly vaulting over in a roll she joined her down below.
"Alright lets deal with these thugs, then deal with the intruder"eria stated as she nodded.
Immediately emerald rushed forward with her kama out as she hoped over a conveyor belt jump kicking a thug in the mask hard. The thug groaned as their mask slightly cracked but they changed their pistol to a machete. Beginnign to slash at her several times she blocked their strikes as the two sickles clashed with them. Though the thug quickly kicked her hard in the gut as she keeled over slightly.
But emerald decided to use her semblance as she dispepared from the thugs sight. As a second one regroup with them as they went back to back.
"What the hell where did she go?"a female thug asked branishing a hatchet in hand.
"I don't know chick disappeared"he replied as they were back to back for a moment. Until the thug noticed emerald rushing forward at them raising his pistol to fire at her. But his bullet went through her like an afteriamge which confused him heavily. The female thug looked confused as the girl came at them again. But like her compatriot she hit a fake.
"Where the heck is she?!"the female thug demanded as she got her answer getting smacked behind the head. Emerald stood their as she quickly changed to her pistol firing off eletric dust shots into the thug tunning him as he screamed falling to the ground. But both layed their knocked out.
With eria she was freezing the ground below her skating around with her ice skates. Three thugs kept firing upon her as she was rushing foward toward one of them. The thug kept firing at her with one of the weapons from the wide selection of weapons. He kept friign a hail of bulelt at her but she kept dodging and weaving through them. Then as she got close bringing out her shotgun she fired an ice dust shot stunning them as ice creeped over their body.
But as she got close twirling her shotgun quickly firing off two more shell as she pinned him to a nearby wall encase in ice unable to use his weapon. The second thug roared swinging a metal pipe into her face sending her hard onto the ground. Eria got launched slightly rolling for a bit before rubbing her sore jaw, luckily she didn't break her nose.
The thug tapped the metal pipe"time to knock out you then take you to "she said about to bring it down. Eria quickly recovered before her eyes glowed slightly as she lunged forward with her bat freezing it over roaring. Then it connected with the women gut sending her hard into some crate as she smashed them. The women groaned as her lower abdomen was covered in ice. This only left the last thug as eria quickly rolled out of a couple bullets they shot.
She quickly got up rushing foward ducking from a punch then whacked them in the kness making them kneel. Then she reeled her back back cracking them upside the head knocking their mask off as the gas started fill his nostril.
"No…no..no..i.."the thug stopped yawning as his body slump over snoring passed out. The two quickly regroup as the guards began to cuff the thugs up.
"Alright that solves them now what about the others"emerald said as if on cue someone fell down screaming landing ontop of some crates. The two eyed each other rushing over to see falk groaning as he layed in a crate full of packing peanuts that luckily broke his fall.
"So i'm assuming the sabatour is still at large?"eria coldly asked as they helped him out of the packing peanuts. Falk rubbed his side that felt slightly sore wicning.
"Yeah blondie dealing with him."falk said looking toward the catwalk. Because right now yang and the intruder were fighting with each other. The blonde kept flicking her wrist firing off shotgun blast with each punch trying hit him. But he kept blocking her shotgun blast or dodging each of her shots as he flipped his khopesh blade.
Then he rushed toward slashing at her but she blocked his strike puting her forearm up. Yang then started to throw a few punches toward her attacker as she didn't land a few at first. But she raised her fist punching him hard in the side as something being cracked could be heard as grunted.
Yang grinned as she used this moment with him being stunned grabbing him byt the shoulder pushing him down. Then she kneed him hard in the chest a few times dealing major damage to his aura. After that blow the sabtour hissed like a snake before pushing her back changing his weapon an assault rifle.
"You'll pay for that for xiaolong"he hissed which caught heroffgaurd that he knew her name.
"How do you–"She was stopped as he began to open fire at her. Yang quickly dove behind some crates close by but got hit a couple times. The attacker kept firing at her back peddling to make a quick escape. Until reaching a doorway he kicked the doors open rushing out. Yang noticed this giving chase quickly sprinting after him.
The two were running down a hallway for a bit as she srpinted after him tackling him to the ground. Both got in a tumble for bit until he got atop her as she struggle beneath him.
"Sorry about this girl but might as well immbolize you"he said pulling his mask down to reveal viper fangs. Then he drove his fangs into her neck as she cried in pain, feeling something be injected into her neck.
"Time to finish you off"he said raising his blade but gunfire went off as emerald rushed forward shooting at him. The sabtour hissed before shooting out a nearby window jumping out it, though emerald along with eria and a couple others who woke up rushed to her.
"Yang!"eria called out as yang breathing was very heavy as she panted for air.
"What did he do to her? Did she wear herself out or something?"neptune said worried
Emerald examined her wound where she had a injection mark and noticed a deep green color as she panted.
"Its posion, thar dam snake faunus used his posion on her"emerlad decided.
"Alright we gotta go, the guards are rounding up the attackers and sabtours. Theirs a clinic close by i know"eria said as nancy reached down hosting yang up carrying the girl who kept panting for air. They all began to rush out of the factory hoping to get her help as some hoped raven wouldn't be mad.
It seems they found their sabotours but yang got bite by one of them. Though emerlad seems to know who this mysterious sabtour is, along with neptune returning and beatrix into the story. Thansk for reading!
