Chapter 79:Blonde Punmaker
It was a bright new day over the island of menagerie as out on the open ocean was a certain cargoship fast approaching the island as it rocked through the sky. But near the cockpit right now piloting it was falk hard at work while yang stared out the window. She looked toward the island of a faunus just in the distance as she smiled.
But she couldn't help but be worried right now about if her girlfriend was okay and their friends got their on time. Calida noticed the nervousness she was showing.
" , why don't you come join us for breakfast"calida called out as verona was just finishing making some eggs, sausage links and coffee with emerald. Their lucky some of the appliances in the ship still after the crash.
"Yeah because uh i can make a decent batch of scrambled eggs"verona added gesturing to the pan of eggs.
Emerald was playing patty cake with luna as the bat faunus sat on a cot as she smiled."it edible at least, come on blonde join us for some mediocre breakfast"she joked making yang slightly chuckled as she joined them fixing herself a plate sitting down.
Yang dug into her breakfast but calida looked at her with worry."is something bothering you dear. You seem very tense right now"she said as she offered a spot next to her as the girl took it.
"Just…i'm really worried. What if we get their and our friends our dead. I know the attack was a few days ago and it seems like their okay. But what…what if blake is dead?"yang said visible shaking.
Calida placed a hand on her shoulder"that won't happen dear, i'm sure your friends are okay. From what my daughters told me all of them are solid huntsman and huntress material"calida reassured rubbing her shoulder to ease the girl as she heated her hands slightly. Yang felt it as she let a sigh of relief.
"Oh man that feels nice…kinda relaxing i'll say"yang said in relief as verona chuckled slightly.
"Hey do that for me having to deal with drav for the last five years. Though.."verona tapped her chin as she walked over picking up luna who wanted her mother it seems. She just held her patting her back.
"Didn't you say his partner was the cheifitan wife?"she added
"Yep that would be kali, oh shes going to be so excited to meet you. Along with her girls i haven't seen them in a long time actually. "Calida said but a somber look came over her face.
"Its terrible to hear still that both of them lost a piece of themselves during the fall"calids sadly added.
Emerald sighed looking down rubbing her arms"kinda hope my teammate is alright along with the rest of her family. "She said. From the front of the ship falk decided to join in the conversation.
"Same here, man their gonna be mad feathers aint coming to say hi. But hey hope yahto alright along with the actually alive cousin"falk replied from the front still piloting the ship as that slipped caldia mind. She gets to meet both her daughters partners along with their familys which will be nice.
"Oh right forgot about that, man bet she happy. Maybe i should ask her for a sparring match sometime"yang said in anitpcation as she was trying to control her fangirling over the women. But verona looked how starry eyed the girl was as she gave a small smirk to the girl.
"Forgot how much of a fangirl you are over that boxer. What want a signed autograph or something?"verona teased making yang considered it.
"You think she will let me?"yang replied as they stared at her for a moment shaking their head. Soon enough they decided to strap into their seats when they had to land when they reach the island.
Meanwhile at the belladonna household right now everyone was finhsing up their breakfast. But they sat in silence like every other meal trying to come up with a plan. As blake thought about what was said last night immensely.
"So um are we just gonna sit in silence for the rest of the day or what?"aruna asked trying to start conversation.
Kali sighed as she stared into her tea"for starters were trying to come up how to deal with the problem that we've avoided"she stated
Ghira nodded as he sat at the front of the table reviewing some of those dossier alongside sienna who looked upset right now. Mainly because she felt terrible for not helping her partner sooner.
"You mean how yesterday nix thought it would be a good idea to attack my partner kid"sienna said glancing over at nix who just crossed her arms looking away. The snowleopard scoffed slightly.
"Hey i was just doing my job as a huntress, sorry that i wanted to lock up a monster"nix replied but sienna just glared at the women keeping it.
"Hmph you don't seem to mind mari niece being here?"sienna retorted as nix visible flinched looking away rubbing her still sore head.
Ghira was bushing his beard as he glanced out to the corner seeing his eldest with a trouble look. The man can tell she feels guilty for what was said that night after their home was under attack.
"You seem very troubled dear, i'm guessing you realzied what you said that night might have hurt your friends"ghira stocily said as the girl just rubbed her prosthetic arm looking down nodding.
"I…i'm just scared alright because of what happened last time. Last time he missed one that made him kill someone. But i…"blakde paused trying to find the words but glnaced at her prosthetic arm clenching her fist. As she recall what nadia did for her for her phantom pain.
Blake closed her eyes"but i shouldn't have said that to her family. She helped save jazmine from that fire along with helping me deal with my lose of limb"blake said truthfully which made her father have a small smile.
"Its nice to see you realized your mistake, thats a good start. You could go apolgize to her later"ghira suggested as kali nodded placing a hand on her daughter shoulder.
"Hes right, don't worry i'll come maybe we can go check on your sister"kali said which made blake like the sound of that. Sienna then looked toward aruna who was still messing with those kodachi blades trying to fgiure them out as she stared at her mother. The two kept looking at each other for a bit.
"What? Do i have something on my face?"aruna asked
Sienna groaned holding sorrel"i don't know maybe you should go apolgize to, for what you said to zoey"she suggested
"Uhh heck no she broke my nose for just saying the truth. The guy alive now but sorry i was.."before sienna handed sorrel to nix as she walked over slamming her hand on the table making her stop, aruna seen this before she messed up.
"Aruna lucille khan. I raised you better than to talk like this. I don't like it that she attacked you but you intesgated it"sienna said pointing at her.
Aruna rubbed her arm as her tail flopped"okay but look that guys creepy seriously he tore that beowulf guys eye out. Its not like he'll need these anyway"aruna said gesturing to the weapons she had. Sienna looked even more disappointed.
"Alright put it like this, what if your baby brother was in the same situation. How would you react to someone saying that it'd be fine if he was dead or insutled him"sienna asked making her go wide eyed as she layed her head down with an upset look.
"That i hate them for insulting him…fine i'll go apologize"aruna said making her mother smile
But soon from the front saber and some guards entered the room.
" we have a situation right now"saber stated
"Whats wrong? Are we under attack by those mercanrys again?"ghira asked
"No it appears a cargoship has entered menagerie and is landing close to the house"saber replied which peeked their interest another cargo ship was here it seems.
"Hmm could it be more supplies or some visitors since their landing close to the house"kali suggested as ghira cupped his chin for a moment.
"Alright assemble a small group of guards to meet us their. We shall see who our mysterious guest our"ghira ordered as they all started to follow him toward the airship landing. But they'll be getting a nice surprise.
It was about twenty minutes to walk toward where the cargoship was as their was already a large crowd of faunus their. They were shifting though the crowd as some guards where already their as they did blake wondered who was here.
"I wonder who is visiting, they aren;t attacking anyone from the looks of it"blake stated
Ghira simply nodded with his hands behind his back"yes, although it does indeed appear to be a cargo ship. With a laughing beowulf on it"he said looking at the side of the ship that showed a cackling beowulf. Sienna narrowed her gaze slightly before going wide eyed realzing who that was maybe.
"For starters that ship belong to my partner niece. Which means another member of her family is here. "Sienna stated as blake knew who she meant neo and vance sister. Which meant their might be just more bad blood on the island.
"Oh her niece, hmm if she here that will put a smile on the women face."kali replied hopefully.
Sun had his hands behind his head"hey at least you guys are gonna finally apolgize. Maybe you should help look for grimm boy after you and attack him"he said glaring at nix who rubbed her neck because of this.
"Look i'm sure dec will apoligze to the kid but…lets see who our guest our"nix replied as they agreed on that. But as they were nearing the front a certain scent wafted through the air that was very familiar to her. Because it smelled awfully like yang to her confusion.
"No way it can be her, last i heard she was at the patch"blake thought as she soon got to the front with the others.
But once to the front she went wide eyed as the cargo bays door were open. Saber was already greeting them with some of the guards that were talking to calida. While pulling her bike down the ramp was yang who was looking for her.
Kali looked surprised but smiled"well, well if it isn't my old teammates from beacon"kali called out as calida glanced at her smiling. The women rushed over as she embraced kali who returned the gesture as calida squealed.
"Ah! Its been so long kitty ears! I can't remember the last time i saw you"Calida squealed in joy as kali just laughed returning the embrace.
"Same here, its a plesent surprise to see you here today"kali replied but she looked over at yang then back at her daughter. To her surprise her daughter had tears streaming down her face. Sun was wide eyed seeing her here as yang just looked over at them smiling.
"Yang?!"blake cried as she rushed over toward her as the blonde propped her bike. Then she rushed over as the two joined as she lifted her into the air with tears on her face. Blake laughed a little as yang set her down holding her close.
"I..i..what are you doing her, weren't you at the pa–"blake couldn't finish before she felt her lips get interlocked with hers making her ears straighten out. Kali covered her mouth surprised slightly as ghira was very surprised by this. Sun just smirked laughing a little at that.
"Huh guess that was your girlfriend eh cat ears"sun teased as blake lifted one leg up returning the kiss as the two sat their for a bit before undoing it.
Yang smirked"hey i had to cash in the kiss she owed me"yang replied smiling as from the platform falk walked over stretching his arms as a pop could be heard.
"Huh seems the others little mission here was a success. "Falk said to emerald who nodded but didn't see any of their other friends here which was strange.
"Your not wrong, but where the heck is everyone at?"emerald questioned as he shrugged his shoulder. But once over they started to exhcnaged plesanetrys.
Ghira looked at calida who bowed to him as he bowed his head"its nice to see you again ghira, i bet your wondering why were here?"she replied
"I am, though i'm guessing you received the letter my wife sent you a week ago?"ghira asked as the women nodded but just smiled at kali right now.
"Oh not really because instead i'm sure the others have told you. But we started a day before i got your letter. My husband met my daughter leader in vale and requested him to send aid here. I'm sure they told you already"Calida answered to their shock right now as blake had a look of guilt across her face right now.
"Are you…are you serious?"sun asked shocked right now
"Uh yes because my husband working on those ships right now and sending those weapons over. But heres a sample"calida replied gesturing to a crate some guards where bringing down. Falk had a crowbar as he pried it opened revealing armor painted blue with the old white fang logo.
Sienna was surprised seeing this as she handed sorrel to her daughter as she picked up the armor. She caressed the logo with a sense of a familiarity as a smile came to her face. But one of guilt as well.
"Thank you for doing this, you don't know how much this means to us. Especially me and ghira"sienna thanked with a small smile but soon kali cleared her throat looking at her daughter who was still near yang.
"Though dear are you going to introduce us?"kali asked trying to divert the topic.
"Oh right umm mom, dad this is my partner on my team. Along with being my girlfriend"blake said with slight cheer in her tone. Yang felt neorvus as she offered a hand to ghira shaking it.
"Pleasure to meet sir, i um…i'm yang xiaolong. I'm your daughter partner and uh actually girlfriend."yang said nervously as he shook her hand.
"Likewise, my daughter told me alot about you"ghira replied as she did the same with kali who smirked at the girl.
"Yes, though you two seem very close. I better not find you two playing later tonight"she teased but blake kept an upset look right now worrying her mother.
"Eh i wouldn't do that but uhh where the heck is everyone else?"yang asked looking for them. All of them avoided their gazes at that moment as calida noticed kali with a look of shame across her face. But she sighed wanting to give some fantastic news.
"I take it something happened, we can talk about this later but dear do you rember dravan?"calida asked to kali confusion.
"Oh you mean my partner that died five years ago. I hear that both your daughters where gone one of them kidnapped the other ran away. I'm sorry to hear that"kali replied but calida had tears forming in her eyes with the brightest smile. As verona stepped off holding luna close as the bat took a deep breath bowing slightly to the group.
"Hello i'm verona hayley, wife of dravan hayley. This is me and my husband daughter luna"verona said catching them offguard hearing that. As kali stood their shocked for a moment before becoming teary eyed praticualry lunging at verona hugging her.
"Its so nice to meet you…i'm so happy to hear my partner and good friend is alive. But he didn't invite me to his wedding"kali cired in joy as ghira felt content seeing this. Blake did too but still looked upset.
"That and also we can explain to you how my brother in law lives. Along with my aodrbale little niece"calida cooed pinching luna cheeks as she tried to bite her.
"No pinchy meanie"luna cutely said making kali immediately take the tot gushing over her.
"Aww your so adorable"kali cooed in a baby voice. But calida looked at the group for a moment wanting to ask them something.
"So you gonna give a tour or what because i'm excited to meet both my daughters partners."calida said as the group kept their silence for a moment on how to explain to them what happened.
"That sounds pleasant, but i need to return to the house to discuss some things here with saber. Mainly something that i regret we should have shown kindness too"ghira crptically replied to their confusion but they decided to give a tour of the island as they thought how to explain their current situation.
Over at the blair house right now in the living room was onxyia sitting their staring at equinox unsheated on the table with her framed team picture. As katherien finished cleaning up breakfast this morning with ilia.
As declan sat on the couch deep in thought ponder something staring at the destroyed wooden angel statute he recovered. While akasha sat their in silence as katherine and ilia returned as the women noticed the current atmosphere.
"Let me guess you two are taking in what was said last night. Aren't you?"she softly asked
Declan groaned loudly throwing his head back"i am hearing that brat saved my kid life despite just waking up from a coma. But made this"he said picking the sword up carefully admiring it now seeing how much care was put into making it. Which disheartened the man how he's acted lately.
"Something to apologize to me…you should have this little cub"he added
"I..i don't know if i should. I've been a real jerk i'm mad he messed with my feelings. But..i still shouldn't have let my emotions control me. Even bun hates me now"onxyia replied balling up as a few tears slipped away.
"Yeah because that guy did put alot of care into it. Seriously you don't know how bad it was in vale"akasha said making them concerned slightly.
"How bad could it be?'ilia questioned as from the stairs xander was walking down joining in the conversation.
"Oh so you realzied your mistakes. Probably too late to make up for it now for what you did yesterday dad"xander said joining them sitting in a chair with an angry expression.
"Son, look about yesterday what was said and what you did wasn't acceptable at all"he began as he paused on what to say next, sighing.
"But last night you were right. It was very rude of me for how i disprected this sword and…destoryed this statue. And i shouldn't have punched the kid in the face as well…kinda realizing how much of a jerk i was."he finished as his son soften his gaze slightly looking at his sister next.
"And..look i didn't take into account how badly he was treated by everyone in vale"onxyia begun grabbing herself tight thinking about how he looked yesterday. He looked terrible like he been unable to sleep for days probably scared right now.
"But I shouldn't have called my leader that…I called him how everyone views our kind a monster. Now i understand why cardin was so mad at me last night. Why vel doesn't even want me near her anymore...was it that bad?"she finished as both xander and akasha looked at each other deciding to explain those three days.
The two began their brief epxlantiaon on what happened in vale how he would be abused pretty much every single day. That he was forced to wear a shock collar and he slept in a damp cell the entire time. Along with working very hard on planning a defense for havan along with making that sword. Which onxyia still felt guilty for.
They also went on to explain his little freakout as it shocked them hearing how everyone thought he didn't feel guilt. But they explained as akasha let slip that he probably blames himself for what happened to their team getting hurt. As they finished it.
"Thats what happened. Seriously why do you think everyone got mad at you guys' 'akasha sadly finsiehd as the four took that in for a moment.
"I..i didn't know it was that bad…that why you were mad at me for what i said"ilia asked as she nodded
Declan closed his eyes"I've seen killers who don't regret their actions, but hearing he felt guilty knowing what he did was wrong. "He replied as the two had more bad news for what he did.
'He also requested for to send airships and weapons to the faunus here when he came to the camp to check on that rabbit chick"akasha said as the four went wide eyed.
"What?"onxyia asked shocked hearing all this especially hearing that he might blame himself for what happened to eria loss of limp.
"Are you telling us…that we have intel on the grimm knights, airships for havan and weapons along with a map of white fang cells in the area. Because of him?"ilia asked shocked as xander nodded with an upset look.
"He stayed up most days after we tried removed those mental suggestion, only time he got sleep. "Xander answered upset as onxyia sniffed picking up equinox sheathing it.
"I'm going to try and apologize to nadia. Along with saying sorry to zoey maybe they found him finally."onxyia said walking to the front door as her father placed a hand on her shoulder.
"I'll come too, probably should apolgize to that winchester boy. I am still mad he blackmailed you but…you seemed to not be bothered by it"declan said to his youngest who nodded.
"I figured it out back in vale, he told me could have turned you in. but didn't….you were just looking out for your family which was good. He was glad to be treating faunus the right way after so much torment he inflicted on them back then"xander wisely said to his father shock but he nodded. The two wolf decided to go visit the women house hoping to make an amends.
Though right now in the middle of the woods at a certain campsite laying down on his makeshift bed roll was zane. He just layed their groaning right now because his entire body feel hot right now along with it aching. Everymove he made hurt, he knows he didn't have any bruises. But his throat hurt as well along with his head.
"Ughh i feel like i'm going to die again"zane said to himself groaning shivering.
"Eh maybe you ate something bad yesterday or your sick. It did rain alot yesterday"bane said in his head.
Before he could answer he began to have a small coughing fit as he covered his mouth. It kept going for a bit as his throat burned from some of the coughs. Eventually he stopped as he slowly sat up hugging himself shivering. He looked toward the tree branch he stowed his food to keep it out of animals reach.
But then a look of disappointment came over his face because something terrible had to happen. That being the soaking wet pack along with it being opened right now. Below it were several wrapping or crumbs from his food. He just walked over as he lowered the bag down and to his dismay it was empty.
He just hung his head in disappointment seeing this right now. Because he didn't have anything else to eat right now. And his stomach hurt a little maybe from lack of food as if on cue it rumbled as he held his stomach.
"Seriously i thought i made sure it was far out of reach for any animals to grab it"zane said in disppointment as he brought the bag over to his campsite setting it down.
"Hmm maybe they managed to climb into it or the rain might have lowered the bag. Though you might need to eat something to keep your strength up kid"bane said as that sounded like a good idea. He soon decided to go do some hunting in the nearby dunes as he grabbed his grappling hook slipping it on. It made hunting easy and harder but he can manged.
Soon enough he made his way through the forest slowly as it took him a while to get over to the dunes about two and a half hours. Once he got their he tried to find anything he could catch but with his current condition he had no luck.
Their was at one point he found some small birds that he tried to shoot with his grappling hook. But he missed as they flew off, then he tried to catch a rabbit that also failed miserable. He checked a few of the snare traps he layed close by but all they caught was either nothing or some venomous snakes he rather not touched. It was hot out today and with his current attire being mainly black it didn't help.
After about a half hour of searching he groaned falling flat on his face in disappointment into the sand. He just layed their contemplating if he should head back to town, but they'll all wanna kill him maybe. He just layed their thinking to himself until he heard footsteps approaching which worried him. Immediately he shot up bringing out his pivot blade but was met by something not so friendly.
Their were about five grimm infront of him to his dismay that he had to run into some right now. He quickly flipped his blade ready to dual as the five grimm circled its new prey slowly surrounding him. As he waited for one to attack he panted slightly since he could feel another coughing fit coming. But gritted his teeth going into his prowler form as he roared lunging at the grimm before they came at him.
He managed to grab one of the capivara as he stabbed it with his claws killing it quickly. Then he tossed it to the side as it turned into black smoke. A second one roared for its fallen brother lunging at him as he stumbled slightly as it tried to tear his throat out. But he snarled as he opened his maw bitting into its face. The grimm cried in pain as he tore its head off spitting it to the ground. He may be hunger but he wasn't going to eat any grimm.
Zane shot up panting as steam came from his jaws"alright…three…more of you pest…lets.."he begun before he dropped his armor as he began to have a coughing fit. He kept coughing as the three grimm seemed to have their new meal soon. He kept coughing for a bit until he felt a hot liquid rush up his throat.
He reeled back gagging puking onto the ground whatever food he ate before. Zane spit to the ground looking at the grimm as he just shook scared right now. He might die alone because of some dumb fever. As one of the grimm lunged at him to kill him a loud gunshot rang out doming it in the head.
Zane went wide eyed seeing it die as he glanced to the corner of his eyes as they sunk. Because coming down from a sandy hill from a jeep was his sister. Along with may who was the one who shot the grimm along with cardin, vance and yumi. The two grimm snarled at the five as they headed toward them. But once they got close cardin reeled his mace back swinging into it launching it into the air. Yumi pulled her pistol out dumping a few bullets into it killing it.
The last grimm tried to snap at the lynx but he dodged it as he pulled his pistol out placing it under its chin. Then he began to dump an entire mag into it as it soon layed dead. Once the dust was settled he visable shook scared as zoey just smiled walking over embracing him.
"Oh…your okay, finally we found you i was so worried about"zoey cried holding him close happy to finally find him.
"Finally found you guess you lost a game of hide and seek now. Lets head back then get something to eat"cardin offered but yumi looked at him worried because he kept trying to wriggle free.
"Hey you good over their why are you freaking out?"yumi asked concerned. Making zoey pull him up getting a better look at him seeing a bruise on his cheek.
"Who did this to you? A grimm wouldn't punch you across the jaw"zoey asked concern touching it making him flinch as he broke free backing up scared.
"Stay away…stay away…y-your here to kill me like eveyrone else"zane said stuttering to their shock as vance looked how terrible he looked. He might not be able to keep that promise up anymore.
"What are you talking about? Where you family we aint gonna hurt you alright""Vance reassured trying to slowly approach him as zoey did the same.
"Yeah he right, look i know your scared right now. But please mom worried sick about you, those ungrateful jerks can suck it for all i care. Your girls worried about you,Just come home"zoey softly said trying to embrace him again but he just kept backing up panting and taking rapid breaths.
He didn't really trust them one bit after what happened yesterday. Their probably lying and they wanna kill him, he just reached into his pouch pulling out a cirlcualr ball. This made the five stop moving putting their hands up.
"Whoa put the grenade down, before someone get–"cardin coudln't even finish as he threw the grenade toward the ground. It illuminated them in a blinding light as they shield their eyes the best they could. But soon after a few moments zoey opened her eyes as an upset look came to her seeing he was gone.
Zoey just held her head crying quietly"dammit…we find him finally…and nows he scared of his own family."she cried as vance patted her shoulder looking down.
"Look lets just head back, at least we know where he hunts at least. We can try again another time"vance stated as they nodded at that as they hoped back into the jeep to head back into town. While zoey just looked upset seeing him act like that wondering who gave him that black eye. But with zane he was slwoly walking back to his camp shivering as his body ached from his lack of energy. He just wanted to be alone now, no one wants him around anymore. Unknown to him he dropped his necklace in the sandy dunes
Later blake and her mother were just finishing up part of the grand tour of the faunus island. It was nice to finally show yang the beauty of her home as she showed her some of her favorite places. Along with some of the most well known parts of the island like the coastline, market district, the founders of the island statue. Their was also getting to know each other and catch up, they were nearing one certain section of the island as they talked.
Kali kept gushing over luna the entire time"Aww i didn't know my partner had such an adorable little girl"she cooed as luna giggled a little grabbing the women ears as she smiled letting her.
Verona rolled her eyes"guess you two really like small and cute things?"she asked
"Why wouldn't i? Because for starters its so nice to be visiting again after so long. I'm sure your happy to hear drav alive"calida replied as kali nodded still gushing over luna.
"Though hearing that your here because of my partner son is nice to hear. Which is so great"sienna said with a guilty look
"Yeah seriously can't wait to see yumi though sucks that yahto left but hearing he has a love interest. Guessing all three of us won that bet"falk replied
"What are you talking about i see my cousin mysterious girlfriend"aruna said who had an arm wrapped around blake.
"Yep that me along with our leader older sister and partner of weiss schnee. Or pilot boy girlfriend now"yang said as falk blushed slightly as sun stared at him for a moment laughing for a moment.
"Oh man your serious? Someone bagged the other ice queen of beacon we lost the heir to the throne"sun joked as blake was surprised to hear weiss had a boyfriend now but weren't they kidnapped?
"Wait a minute, the schnee heiress and your daughter were kidnapped. Did they get rescued?"sienna questioned as calida ponder how to responded to them as she dipped her head.
"We can explain later, their are too many prying eyes. Though where are my daughter partner and leader. I'd love to meet them"Calida said which made the group look away at the mention of one of those people. They didn't realize they were nearing a certain orphanage right now.
"Umm well you see their was an incident recently and well.."blake tried to find the words with an upset look which yang noticed. But soon enough falk looked up toward a certain orphanage to someone sitting on her front deck holding her head with a drink in hand.
Falk smiled"yo miss walker, its your favorite pilot!"falk called out making nadia look up as neo was on the porch with her. The mute went wide eyed seeing him here along with emerald. The red eyed girl sighed in relief seeing her here as some of them walked over to greet her. But some just looked at her with worry.
Immediately neo hugged falk as he returned it smiling"heyya short stack, man its great you again"he greeted as neo nodded but looked at emerald for a moment before hugging her.
Emerald returned it smiling then she undid her embrace doing something that shocked neo.
"Its nice to see you after soo long neo"emerald signed to the mute shock but she just smiled at her nodding in excitement but looked around not seeing her sister her to her dismay. Nadia walked over hugging falk who returned it.
"Let me guess my dumb niece isn't with you"nadia asked as the pliot sighed nodding.
"Yeah she had to complete a job but she sent me here to check up on you guys"falk relied to the women dismay but she was happy to see him. Then she glanced at the other glaring at some which confused them but yang walked over smiling waving to her.
"Heyya it the girl who fangirled over you back at beacon"yang greeted with a highfive as the women smiled smacking it hard to yang glee.
"I remember you kid although, what the hell are the rest of you doing here. I thought i told you to never come near my home again"nadia said as she placed a hand on her revolver which surprised yang. Then she looked at blake who looked away as she wonder what happened to make the women despise her.
"Dear please can you not start a fight. Were showing my teammate around along with my eldest girlfriend. But..i.."she coudlnt' find the words as neo dragged her finger across her throat changing into blake with an anger look as she shattered into glass.
"Whoa you pissed shorty off, what did you guys do? It takes only a few things to piss her off"falk said as sun shook his head to not joke about that.
"Look, there's no need for violence. But i'm sure you met my frosty i'm my twin daughter's mother. Recently i heard he lives which is fantastic news"calida said offering a hand but she didn't take it.
"What you here to kill my kid or put him in jail because if you are. I suggest you leave before i smash your skull in"nadia spat as calida was taken aback by that.
"No i just wanted to say hello to you along with my other daughter partners"calida said glancing toward the house.
"Oh really? Because right now a certain someone here is someone i'm fighting the urge to beat the hell out of right now"nadia said looking directly at blake who backed up nerovusly. Though soon enough from the nearby daycare jazmine emerged stretching her back as she waved to mari. Piper was with her as she held the girl's hand.
"Alright mari i'll take her back to the house and babysit for you and bastet tonight"jazmine said as blake looked stunned seeing her but her little sister huffed ignoring her.
"Jazmine wait!"blake called out but she was ignored
Kali sighed as she pushed past nadia who growled at her as the cat faunus soon reached her daughter. As she placed a hand on her shoulder jazmine just glared at her but soften her gaze seeing it was her mother.
"Jazmine dear, please don't be rude right now. For starters calida is here to visit along with your sister teammate. Please just come say hi…please"kali begged as jazmine thought for moment before relenting walking over. She still held piper who hugged her for comfort but verona was just shocked seeing her. Someone so young being turned into a grimm hybrid.
"Are they scary people"piper sheepishly asked but calida just kneklt down getting on her level.
"No were not dangerous sweetie, my daughters told me about you. Your an adorable little faunus i'll say"calida cooed making piper slightly smile as jazmine offered one hand shaking the women.
"Hey auntie, nice to see you again after your husband gave me my new leg. "Jazmine thanked
"It was no problem dear your mother cashed in a favor she owed me"calida rpelied. Making nadia growl in anger right now.
"Though i'm yang xioalong, partner and current girlfriend of your sister. Unlike that ex of hers"yang joke making jazmine chuckled slightly.
"Nice to meet you. You gonna be an ungrateful jerk like the rest of them?"jazmine asked catching them offguard. Before they could ask a sound of footsteps could be heard as someone hugged falk that being yumi with teary eyes.
"Your alive! Oh you dumb grease monkey i thought you and feathers were dead"yumi cried as he just hugged her back.
"I aint dead but feathers is probably at havan by now"falk replied. But nadia noticed her daughter crying right now walking over to console her.
"Dear why are you crying, please tell me you found him out their?"nadia asked which just confused the new arrivals as the fox faunus hung her head hugging her.
"We..we did…but now he even scared of his own family. And someone fricking attacked him, he had a nice shiner on his cheek"zoey said but as she did onxyia and declan arrived as the large man just visible backed up. Vance noticed them here growling especially at the wolf.
"What the hell are all you doing here? I though my aunt made it clear if you came near our house we beat the snot out of you"vance stated as he cracked his knuckles glaring at blake especially who looked away. But yang stepped forward making a protective shield.
"Okay for starters you aint hurting her, second whats with all of you guys. All of you seem very hostile toward each other"yang said
Nadia scoffed holding her daughter who was still crying"oh they didn't tell you what happened after the assaintion attempt. That immediately his dumb ex calls him a monster breaking his heart. Heck even the rabbit doesn't want to be near you.I don't care about your two little love life but you shouldn't have called him that"nadia spat glaring at the wolf whos ear flopped over. The others were surrpsied to hear those three broke it off.
Velvet was their looking away from her girlfriend which she noticed as she just walked back inside now even saying a word to her which hurt immneously
"Whoa those three broke up, that kinda sad"emerald whispered to sun who nodded somberly.
"You have no idea, everyone pretty pissed at them"he replied queitly.
The tiger then looked toward blake who backed up scared"then there was the spoiled little princess who said we should put a damn collar on him! Saying how he was some…murderer..that stupid bot he smashed up is alive!''she continued to their shock.
"Wait, Penny is alive?"Yang asked, smiling a little hearing that but refocused on protecting blake.
"Look..i..i..um please just.."before blake finsiehd she pushed yang to the side and jabbed her in the chest.
"Shut the hell up! Your entire family is ungrateful including those damn wolves. He learns of that dam assiantion attempt, brings you dossier on those grimm knights, and possible white fang locations. But you still wanted to lock him up after people tried to kill him by hanging him!'' Nadia finished crying now as she seethed in rage trying not to punch the girl. But calida just stared in shock processing all this right now.
As they sat in silence Nadia just turned away walking away to her house"if you're here to try and hurt my son go away. Now"she stated firmly but Vance looked over at Declan for a moment as the two stared at each other before he went wide eyed.
"You..you attack my cousin…you son of a bitch!'' Vance said as he read his mind, before he could stop it Declan received a right hook to the jaw. The man didn't stumble but he rubbed his jaw as Cardin pulled the lynx back who was glaring at him. Nadia just stood there in rage glaring at him.
Declan spit to the side rubbing his jaw"look…dear there's a reason I did it. Nix tried to restrain him then he threw her off making"before he finished she clocked him hard against the jaw as she grabbed him by the throat.
"You're the damn reason he's scared! Bad enough that bastard crodile faunus wants to kill him. Stay away from my house."nadia said, throwing him to the ground as her group began to walk to the house. Until someone spoke up to them.
"I…i..i'm sorry alright"onxyia spoke up shaking with tears in her eyes. She looked back crossing her arms as cardin stopped with a soft gaze looking at her. Nadia didn't answer as the wolf knew she wanted her to say it.
"Look..i..i..i'm sorry for calling him a monster alright. I may not…love him anymore but i shouldn't have called my leader that. "Onxyia apoglzied from the heart as from a nearby window in the home velvet heard that smiling right now.
"I'm sorry for what was said that night as well"blake said
"Quit trying to make yourself look like the victim infront of your girlfined"vance spat making yang glare slightly but kept her composure. Sienna nudged aruna who sighed rubbing her arm.
"And i'm sorry for saying umm well…that he was probably dead do you want these weapons back"Aruna asked gesturing to them as zoey growled at her making her take that as a no.
"Dear look we have good news ghira and me are planning on doing a speech to clear his name. It'll be hard but i wanted to let you know"Sienna said as the two exchanged glances for a moment before nadia sighed looking at them crossing her arms.
"Fine i accept your apologies…but the one you need to apolgize to now is my son. Nice seeing you all again"nadia scoffed before slamming the door shut. Cardin looked at onxyia who looked down as he just nodded thanking her it seems. Soon him and the others walked inside along with falk who joined them and emerald.
They all soon went their separate ways for the night returning to their homes. But blake just hoped to patch things up with her little sister. While calida just looked disheartened hearing all this because she has news that might make some of them upset.
It seems they fianlly apologized for their actions for the past few days. Though it seems that zane doesn't trust anyone now. But blake is starting to feel even more guilt for showing no kindess at all. Thanks for reading!
