Chapter 81:Onward To Havan
The two siblings walked for a while until poppy led him to a beautiful nature path. Their were trees as the atmosphere felt relaxing right now as the birds chirped their songs creating a beautiful relaxing melody. It created a relaxing environment to let ones thought roam free.
The two kept walking in an eerie silence which he didn't like. Because the only time she acts like this is if he's introuble. He recalled back then that when they all broke a vase one time. She tried to figure out the culprit by making them take a walk through some woods near their family home.
Which resulted in an awkward silence until one of his sister snitched on his twins sister that they broke the vase. It was a perfect strategy for her to trick them into not lying to her.
Poppy took a deep breath exhaling"it sure is nice today. Its nice to finally enjoy nature without worrying about something killing you"She said
"Oh yeah it is, feels a little relaxing now that you think about"jaune replied trying to avoid whatever question she might have for him.
"It is. Relaxing enough for someone younger brother to tell me whats wrong with him"poppy suddenly said as he flicnhed slightly picking up pace placing his hands in his pocket.
"Sis i'm fine alright. You don't need to worry about me just got alot on my shoulder right now"jaune replied
That didn't sound right to her as her older sibling instincts kicked in as she hugged him from behind catching him offguard.
"Stop it. I can tell your trouble because i've noticed something in your eyes"poppy said confusing him before making him face her as their eyes both mirrored each other with their dark blue.
Poppy had an upset look form"don't tell me you've been thinking about killing people….please"she begged with an upset look as he visible flicnhed hearing her utter those words. Then he avoided her gaze looking at the red sash on his waist.
"I don't know what your talking about. Why would i wanna kill anyone…your crazy"jaune nerovusly said breaking free from her grip walking forward. As he found a nice log to sit down on that looked sturdy enough.
Poppy walked over joining him as he hugged himself looking down at the ground. The older arc sister just looked worried because how he just reacted told her the truth. Hes thinking about killing someone which just broke her heart that her own brother had these thoughts.
"Jaune, please just tell me why you would even considered something like that"she asked softly
"I'm not seriously quit psycho analasysi me.."he was stopped as she placed a hand gently atop his head then repeated this for a bit before having a serious and dispproaivng look appear across her face.
"I'm only worried about you since your my only brother. If any of our sister were here sapfron, chloe, azure, alice, Ione and even Dian."poppy begun as some tears formed in her eyes as he stared at her with an upset look seeing her crying almost.
"I know when we were kids I was too overprotective of you all. But i just want whats best for all of you. I told myself that I would protect my siblings no matter the cost and guide them in the right path. "Poppy continued before placing her forehead against his as he leaned slgihtyl into it.
"Just tell me why you would even consider murdering someone"poppy finished unknown to them two people were listening in on their conversation it seems.
Jaune sat their for a bit as he tried to find his voice for a moment as he paused trying to think how he could even say anything. The two sibling sat their in silence until he gently moved away from her as cradled his head in complete shame right now.
"I..look…when the fall happened back in vale. I had the best life at beacon even after faking my way into the school"jaune begun as she chuckled slightly at that.
"Forgot you asked our brianiac of a sister to help you. Her only requirement was to make her some of those cookies dad showed only you"poppy joked earning a chuckle from him
His dad had some dumb family recipe on his side but he said he'll only show the men of the arc household it. Which was only him since he knew its trade secret. But he continued with his tale.
"When i got to beacon i was so nervous for what was going to happen. Part of me was excited for going to the grreast huntsman and huntress school in the world. Though i also…puked my guts up on the first day of class"jaune said recalling how he got that stupid nicnkanme that day.
Though the people close by listening to this right now was none other than ren and nora. Because the grave they made for wu shui was close to a beautiful spot.
Nora was fighting the urge to laugh but ren had a troubled look at what he heard. That his own leader would resort to murdering someone which made him wonder who. Because he might know whos he talking about.
Jaune swallowed as he felt his throat slightly consritct" but uh that day i actually made my first friend their. Some guy who gave me an expired bottle of medicine"he said
"You mean that grimm knight, saphorone letter told me you were good friends with him"poppy replied which confused him that she got a letter from his sister saprhone.
"Wait she sent you a letter when?"jaune asked
"A while ago when the fall happened. I was so worried sick here since i've been unable to communicate with any of you for the last three months. But luckily this got to my mail one day"poppy said reaching into her pouch since she was in her huntress attire. After some rummaging for a bit she pulled out a orange envelope that looked already open.
The women brought this just incase they needed to talk about this once they dealt with the threat plaguing her town. Handing it too him he catusouly retrieved the letter beginning to read it.
"Dear big sis. I haven't heard much from you lately from your lovely little mining town. I hope all is well their right now with my niece and brother in law graz that lovable idiot. But you may be wondering why i'm sending you this. Mainly if you've seen the news right now you've heard what happened in vale and beacon. The school our only brother attended, you all probably saw his match. How he was placed on a team with the champion of sanctum from argus mistral, and word from a friend of mine is that he is dating her"he read aloud pausing blushing slightly groaning.
"Why did she have to put that?"jaune asked
Poppy chuckled sighing smiling"she just wanted to lighten up the tone of the letter i think. Keep reading"she replied as he did just that.
As he kept reading he cleared his throat" but you also properly saw the list of people who died during that targedy her included. He staying with me and my wife right now, but he looks hurt. "You probably guess why i wanna do it…b-because…we know who started the fall"jaune announced which caught her offguard that their group knew who did it.
"Wait you know who did it? The news said it was just the white fang but…maybe those mercnarys were involved i'm assuming"poppy replied
Jaune nodded before retrieving his scroll going through it to the list of team during the competition then he showed her a picture of team BRAS. rosemary with her hood up pretending to be a scared girl. Adder with his khopesh in his hands while scar had a elegant pose. But one stuck out to poppy that being bonnie thanatos catching her offguard.
"Okay who are these guys? Because she looks like reed dead wife"poppy stated before he could answer the rustiling of bushes could be heard as they looked as nora fell forward onto the ground.
"Nora?"jaune quickly said shocked they were spying on them. Then ren emerged helping her up but he noticed him staring at him with a disgusted look.
"Where you two spying on us?"poppy asked annoyed but ren ignored her before looking at his leader.
"Is that why you wanted me and her to come on this mission to havan"ren demanded
"To help kill those four thinking it'll make everything better. Killing that callows women daughter who took eria leg. "Ren begun walking toward him as poppy was shocked by this but listen. While nora had an upset look mixed with worry right now.
Jaune avoided his gaze"i..i don't know what you mean about-"he was stopped by him continuing.
"Killing adder because you thought he killed our friend who is alive. But killing scar watts since he helped use our friend who helped commit a terrible tragedy in our world. Do you think killing them will make everything better?"ren finsiehd standing right infront of him.
"No..i..i..i just…"jaune begun but surprisingly ren pulled him up with a slight look of anger.
"You what? Killing someone won't bring our friends back. I know we lost several people during the fall we all cared about. but…"Ren begun before taking a deep breath calming himself down. Then he pulled his leader into an embrace with an upset look.
"But pyrrha wouldn't want this. Me and nora both miss her just as much as you. We understand you two made a real connection back at beacon. But she died in the line of duty, as a huntresses. Resorting to mudering someone that wasn't involved won't fix anything"ren stated as nora walked over with an upset look as jaune had tears threatening to break. The orange haired girl joined the embrace holding him tight.
"Renny right..i..i miss her soo much right now. But she would hate seeing you trying to kill someone. "Nora added as jaune just cracked returning the embrace as some tears slipped away.
"I..i know…but she was the best thing to ever happen to me. I loved her…and she loved me"jaune begun choking on his words slightly.
"Theirs not a day that goes by that i wish she was still here. She was the best person around…she was kind…smart…compssionate. And she believed in me…i thought i was never cut out to be a huntsman. But..but she helped me believe in myself…i thought she deserved to be our team leader."jaune continued choking back some sob as his two teammates held him.
"But pyr said i was the better option…i was so happy being with her. I didn't care if she was the champion of sanctum…i fell in love for who she was. I loved the girl who was pyrrha nikos…not the champion of sanctum. And..and…i just wish she was still with us…along with everyone else"jaune finished sobbing
Ren let a few tears slip away while nora hugged the two tight not wanting to let go comforting them. The three held their embrace for a few minutes until they let go as they looked at each other. Jaune then looked toward his older sister who had an upet look on her face.
"You think reed and erin are related to that bonnie women…aren;t you?"poppy asked
Jaune rubbed the tears away swallowing his throat as it felt tight like a vice was around his neck
"I do…i…it hurt because i truly did love her. You still have a husband…theirs a hole in my chest that can't be filled. he never cared about my background or who i was…she made me feel special. When i first saw her i didn't know who she was…i saw a beautiful girl with fiery red hair"jaune begun before tears dripped onto the ground.
"But locking them up will just give them…t-time to kill again. So many of our friends are gone…in a single day."he finished sobbing again as she walked over guiding him back to the log holding him in a comforting embrace rocking back and forth with him. Psuhgin his head into her shoulder for him to cry on.
"I know…losing that many people is very hard to understand. But you need to understand your friends woudln't want to see you acting like this. Your family, even our great grandfather i've seen you grown over the years. Your a sweet boy, caring, smart and i thought you shouldn't be a huntsman"poppy begun as he buried his face crying as he listened.
"I only became a huntresses to continue the family linage of warriors. But as i kept going i lost so many comrades and people i consider friends. Before i met my husband…i did have someone i loved."poppy added peeking her brother interest.
"What…what do you mean?"jaune asked as she pulled him up revealing his eyes to be puffy as had tears present as she wiped them away with her thumb.
"Back then when i was attending havan for my huntresses license. Do you recall how one of my teammates died on a mission with me?"she asked as he nodded he vidly recalled how years ago his older sister came home sobbing. His parents, him and their sisters consoled her but he didn't really know what happened. All he knew was someone she knew died.
"I sort of recall that, you stayed at home for a while crying your eyes out everyday. But uh me and our sister just walked into your room. Then we all just hugged you trying to tell you everything will be okay"jaune replied as poppy nodded rubbing his back.
"The person i lost was my partner…titus, back then he was known to the model huntsman. He was skilled in all forms of combat and could defeat anyone back then. But one day me and him started to date…we were going strong for about three years. Took me two to finally ask him out…i was so happy when he said yes"poppy added as a somber look came over her face sighing.
"But on a mission we were tasked to save some civlians from some grimm. Most of us were tired as someone needed to stay behind to hold them. He stayed behind…choosing to lay down his life to save thirty three people including his team. It hurt so much seeing him die but.."poppy said as the two siblings eyes met with tears in both of them.
Poppy just pulled jaune over in a embrace holding him tight"it'll hurt for a while but it'll get easier over time. You'll eventually find that special someone again, i know you lost alot of friends. But they'd be disappointed seeing you act like this"poppy finished as jaune took her words to heart.
"Your…your right…you two probably hate me for even thinking of it"jaune said to his two teammates. They didn't answer but instead ren then grabbed him by the hand guiding him somewhere.
It took barely two minutes as they soon arrived at something beautiful a waterwall with a glistening lake. As their was some rocks close by matching with the scenery. Their was also some woodland critter getting a drink from the natural spring.
"Huh you two found the waterfall. I come here to read sometimes when i'm stressed out"poppy said
Nora smiled slightly"well we also decided to have a small memorial for wu shui"she said gesutring to a nearby headstone with a bouquet of random wildflowers their. Placed right down at the makeshift headstone for the man that took care of his teammates.
Jaune noticed what the tombstone read"here lies wu shui. A kindred soul who helped those in need and a hero". He was taken aback by this as he approahced the spot kneeling infront of it as ren joined him.
"I am quite mad you would have these thoughts. But ruby told us how you and mercury confront rogue in our home"ren said catching him by surprise.
"Renny right look..i..know it hurts pyrrha gone. But don't kill someone in her name"nora said kneeling next to him.
"We need to be their for each other, we can't lose our leader…our friend…you and pyrrha were like family to us"nora said with tears hugging him as ren placed a hand on his shoulder. Jaune exhaled dipping his head smiling slightly.
"You…two are right. She would't like this neither of our friends would."jaune said as they stayed in a silence for a moment. Without a word he stood up gathering some sticks ripping off a small piece of his sash. Then he made a makeshift cross digging it into the ground frimly pressing down on it.
"She already has a grave in her home. But she might like the scenery here"jaune stated with a smile as the two nodded at that. They just stayed for for a while until eventually leaving before he did he glanced toward the trees. Immediately something caught his eyes that being an owl that had bright red fur which was strange for one to have that color of fur.
But he just stared at the owl as for some reason he felt like it was watching him. Along with telling him something without even speaking that being…he realized the right path.
Jaune nodded to it walking away feeling slightly better discussing this. Because part of him still wanted to kill them but deep down he knew that was wrong. The four just returned to town to prepared to leave for havan
Meanwhile in town right now ruby and company where making their way toward a specific place right now.
But ruby kept grumbling herself very disappointed right now because he promised her and yang along with now apparent aunt and uncle. That he would quit the booze since he drank so much from what she heard.
Rogue placed her hand behind her head"So how bad are we talking when he gets drunk?"She asked
"Let just say last time he got drunk. From what aunt raven told me he ran around naked in the middle of winter one time"ruby said earning a chuckle from the two slightly. But she wasn't laughing right now.
"Heh funny. Though if you need an expert to get someone off the bottle i'm your guy"merucyr said gesutirng to himself.
This confused rogue for a moment why he would be an expert but guessed he helped his dad stay sober at the time. Which means they might be able to help him before he regrets turning back to the bottle.
"That good i guess….though you sure look mad."rogue stated looking at the fumming ruby right now. They've never seen her so mad before, for starters it was scarying the two a little.
Ruby groaned stomping her foot down hard"of course i'm mad! Because he pormsie me and sis that he'd never drink again!"ruby shouted as some of the passerby looked at them weird a little. Though they payed them no mind thinking they were just having a small spat.
"I would be too though lets find the guy then we can head back. Come up with a plan when he sobers up"mercury said as they reached the bar
Once inside it was a little more busy as some of the miner and previous rebels from the town where taking a break. All of them having fun drinking and talking with each other. While the staff seemed happy to have customer that wouldn't randomly grope them with the risk of being shot.
Because now they could kick someone out if they even try that which some probably woudln't do, if their not too drunk.
Though ruby scanned the place for her father which she finds strange right now. But she soon found him qucikly because he was at the counter of the bar right now. Already on his five glass it seems despite it being the morning still.
Qrow sat their shaking his drink in his hand as he was staring down at something on the counter. While next to him was asher who surprisingly wasn;t having an ounce of liquor right now mainly because maggy was with him.
"Come on mags can't i just have one insty drop?"Asher begged but she kept her stance on why she didn't want him to drink.
"Your not getting into a bar fight. Honestly i'm surprised ted here let you drink after they thought you betrayed our town"maggy said
Ted was busy placing his profit from today in the cash reigsiter since business was booming again without having to hand out free drinks to those mercarnarys.
"Well i would've gotten shot or had my nose broken. But sorry ash i'm listening to your girl. "Ted said smugly which earn a groan from the skinny huntsman. Though walking to the counter taking a seat. Mercury took one near qrow as ruby took one as well. While rogue sat near asher as he greeted the group.
"Oh heyya kiddios. You here to join these goofs with their shengains?"he asked pointing to the rowdy miners still cleebrating their victory over driving those thugs and several grimm knights away.
"Nope try more like bringing our chaperone back home along with making him quit drinking"mercruyc firmly stated
Qrow laughed at that as he bopped his head up and down because he felt slightly woozy. But he needed to drown his sorrows after hearing that two of his close friends weren't dead but instead taken for some sick experiments. More importantly a childhood friend.
"I'm fine…seriously i can"hiccup" drink if i want…you aren't my mom."qrow said as he downed his glass of amber liquid setting it down.
"Because she died just like meli is….oh sis will be very torn about it…verona especially"he added
"Who the heck is verona?"rogue questioned confused
Ruby sighed as she looked at ted for a moment"can you please not let him have anymore, please get him a cold glass of water"She requested
"Sorry kiddio it aint my choice because i tried to early and well…."he begun before the coyote fuanus decided to tell them.
"He told him he'll throw him out of a window if he cuts him off."maggy replied annoyed but mercury rolled his eyes before glancing at the barkeep.
"Just make him it. Seriously the dusty qrow looks like he needs it"merucyr said gesturing to qrow who was laughing slightly laying his head down carrsing the picture in his hands with a slightly upset look. Ted nodded getting to work on that as they talked for a bit.
"Okay but who is the heck is verona what she like some realtive?"rogue aksed her question again.
"Oh aunt verona. She's a bat faunus aunt raven and uh…dad"ruby paused finding that very weird after so long calling him uncle qrow.
Qrow laughed"that's me…man i haven't felt like this is such a long time"he said laughing slightly every few seconds mercury rolled his eyes because it reminded him of the time his dad was on the bottle. Their lucky he isn't anger drunk which his dad was alot, he did give him lumps alot of times. Though their lucky he just acting goofy.
"Beside that she was childhood friends with him and her along with umm aunt melissa"ruby cotninued with a somber look appearing across her face.
Maggy noticed the girl troubled look walking over placing a hand on her shoulder rubbing it making ruby jump slightly. But relaxed seeing it was just her.
"I know who your talking about. Because he keeps saying how he disappointed her daughter for sending her on a mission eight years ago"maggy said with a sad tone.
Rogue looked a little upset too guessing he was very close to this women. Hearing she was one of those grimm knights was upsetting to hear someone lost control to that thing. Recently over the last two days he also said that diego guy was declan blair partner and leader.
It seems like most of them knew these grimm knights at some point in their lives before they were turned into monster. She hoped her partner wasn't being control by the one inside him.
"Let me guess she died on some mission eight years ago?"rogue asked
Ruby nodded"she did though i never really got to know her much. I only met her a couple times when i was a little kid. But her and aunt verona where really good friends with our family since they helped dad and auntie reform the tribe. Their kinda like second aunts"ruby said
Though with qrow drunken stubborn right now he kept eyeing someone right now that being rogue which confused her.
"Why do you keep staring at me?" rogue questioned as he had some news on someone she knew.

"Stop lying to me…m-my uncle is dead…that bastard tyrian callows took him from me"rogue said with tears forming in her eyes hurt he would try to give her false hope.
"She right dad…seriously just stop drinking. You promised me and yang that you woudldn't drink anymore"ruby said getting in his face as he looked at her with a tired look. The silver eyed girl made eye contact with him with an upset and disappointed look. Because he was breaking his one promise to her.
"You promised…that you will never drink again…n-now your breaking it. I know your upset…but please don't turn to the bottle. Mom would be disappointed seeing you act like this"Ruby said pulling that card.
Qrow went slightly wide eyed thinking about his actually alive wife right now. He vowed to not drink again to try and be their for his daughter on the sidelines before he found her mother, his wife. This made him stare at his reflection in the mirror seeing his current state his dishelved hair and liquor stained mouth.
The dusty qrow stared at himself giving a good hard look in the mirror before goraning looking at the picture in hand. Ruby noticed it touched actually because it showed summer holding her as a baby with qrow kissing her on the forehead. It made her feel warm actually.
The father and daughter stayed in silence for a bit as he groaned placing his scroll down sighing.
"Alright now get me out of here…you can punch me if you want kiddio"qrow offered passing out immediately after saying that. Mercury walked over hosting him up with asher help as they planned to take him back to the house. But rogue grabbed his scroll not seeing the picture of her uncle dravan and his family he started.
Hour past as poppy was fixing dinner for everyone with ren help along with jaune who early made them delciiosu chocolate chip cookies. Because nora was eating another few humming in delight.
"This is so good you never told us you can cook like renny"nora complimented
Ruby was eating her in delight"she right because seriously this is so good"she said
Jaune rubbed his neck"its nothing my dad showed me some dumb recipe that appernelty the men of the arc family only know"he replied modestly.
"Well then sometimes guys can cook. Take ren over their the gusy the best cook in our little group"merucry said
"Your too modest. I just learned at a young age since wu taught me"ren replied smiling slightly stirring a pot of noodles for tonight dinner. But qrow was finally sobered up but rogue kept looking at him the entire time. Which he noticed.
"What you staring at blondie do i have something on my face?"qrow asked scratching his stubble.
Rogue narrowed her gaze wondering what he said early was true that her uncle was actually alive because she needed to confirm her suspicious right now.
"No because early you said my uncle was alive…but he died five years ago"rogue suddenly said catching them offguard slightly. Jaune gave a strange look as did the rest of the group. Mercury sighed pulling her over into a side embrace.
"Susnhine the old guy was drunk no way he–"but he was stopped as qrow actually had news on that.
"I wasn't lying, dravan hayley is alive and with our tribe"qrow announced catching them all offguard as ren stopped cooking for a moment. Jaune went slack jaw slightly hearing that as ruby looked surprised hearing this. While rouge had tears beginning to form glaring at him.
"Your lying. My uncle died after he saved my life putting me in that stupid cellar."Rogue begun as tears began to form in her eyes slipping down.
"H..he died…because i was an idiot! Maybe if i didn't visit his stupid village he might have visited our house for the day of the vytal feistval!"rogue cried as they were surrpsied by her sudden reaction. But she hated how he causally bring up her dead uncle.
"T-that day took so many of my friends…but don't utter something that isn't true. My dad confirmed his death! My partner might be alive but…t-tanner and pyrrha are gone…their gone now quit lying to me trying to make me feel better!"rogue finished with tears running down her face as mercury just walked over gently taking her hugging her close.
Jaune looked at the red sash sighing right now"i know it hurts that their gone but….you shouldn't give false hope"he said direclty to qrow who sighed. Then he dug through his scroll pulling something up.
"I aint lying when good old drav started a family with verona. Along with having a daughter…kept her being my daughter hidden. Might as well give you more good news"qrow said
They all looked seeing dravan standing their with one arm holding luna in his remaining arm. As verona was next to him with a content look on her face. But rogue blinked for a moment trying to see through her watery eyes.
"No way…that…that looks like the guy this has gotta be faked?"mercury stated
"Nope because for starters. Sis inveistgated the town that he lived in found him pretty far from it bleeding out. She saved him nursing him back to health for the past three years he started a familiar. Along with being one of my vice captains"qrow started
Rogue just stared in shock seeing her actually uncle alive as tears kept running down hot down her face.
"But…why wouldn't he return to his family? If he was alive he should have gone back"jaune said

"But for starters hes back at the camp probably with your cousin luna hayley."he finished as mercury was qutie shocked but recalled what his girlfriend told him.
"Hold on wasn;t it your birthday a few days ago?"he asked but rogue just stared at qrow before lunging for a hug sobbing right now with tears of joy. Because her partner and her uncle were alive which brought a smile to her face.
"Thank you…thank you…god my eyes hurt so much right now"rogue cried as they laughed slightly at that as he patted her back.
"No problem kid though whats the plan?"qrow asked
Ruby tried to come up with one real quick as one came to mind that they discussed previously.
"We make our way to mistral. Find a safehouse we can use to formulate a plan to defend havan. Plus when we get to haven we talk with lionheart and warn him about the potential attack. And hope our friends from menagerie meet us with reinforcement same goes for sis with the tribe"she started
"And we could request help from the spider gangs or that junior guy. Torch seemed chummy with them"merccury aded

Nora stretched her arms out and let out a big yawn getting up from her seat.
"Well i'm tried lets enjoy normal beds for one last night"nora added
"Then lets do that. Everyone get well rested"ruby replied as they all decided to return to their rooms after dinner but rogue just slept peacefully night smiling for one nightmare free for tonight.
Meanwhile in the girmlands salem was making suring that everything was prepared for their next move to attack the academy to obetain the relic that was house there. Salem was also well aware in order for the vault to open it required the spring maiden and the artifact that goes with it as well.
Though she also faced another problem she lost a potential grimm knight it seems. But it didn't matter since she received eight more to replace the ones they lost. Selekt failed to bring her a certain individual but brining those eight made up for it. She was although disappoint she couldn't kill the hayley girl.
However right now she was focused on another task which was making her subjects were prepared as bonnie was mastering her powers as she burned another clone of ruby as it vanished. Bonnie then summoned a friesword and skeleton warrior slashing another clone in half showing no remorse for it and stbabed a third one through before tehy vanished. As her undead warrior decimated a fourth clone in seconds.
She then brought out her newest weapon arthur created for her. It was a second weapon that was a sickle it seems that looked handheld with blue and white on the handle. While it had a silver glean to it shining in the light. It had a button on it suggesting it can be shot.
Bonnie tiwlred her sickle rushing forward slashing at the ruby clone making it stumble slightly. Bonnie though jumped up and pressed a button undoing the curved blade from it as chains where in its place. Then she tiwrled the chain wrapping it around the clone holding it in place before she took her lever action rifle aiming for the head with muderous intent as the clone vanished after being defeated.
Salem looked please with bonnie progress as she applaud her.
"Well done my dear. Its safe to say that you are ready to return to the battlefield. I'm most please at your progress"salem replied
Bonnie turned to face her before bowing down to a knee"thank you my queen. I promise that i will not fail you"bonnie replied. She felt salem palace a hand on her head almost like she was getting petted by her queen
"I know you won't. You are one of my vauled subjects. Never forget that dear"salem said smoothly.
"Now do you remember your task?"salem questioned like she was testing her.
"Destory havan academy. Return with the relic and with the young girl with silver eyes along with the traditor if need be. Kill anyone that gets in my way"bonnie stated
"Very good. Rember ozpin had more thant likely reincarnated into another body. Do not underestimate him under any circumstances"salem odred
"Of course my queen"bonnie said as she stood up from her spot as salem cupped her cheek.
"Remeber bring me the girl alive. If you find the traditor kill him unlike ."salem reminded as bonnie nodded as she took her leave the doors opening and closing on their own.
"Having a small chat with our queen?"tyrian said next to her as he was leaning on a pillar with selket next to her.
"Yes do tell because i'm still rather ticked off that i can't confirm that brats death"selket growled as tyrina wrapped his arms around her.
"Oh i know my dear, i hope to get my revenge on her for doing this to me"tyrian growled as selket seductivly leaned into him as bonnie scoffed slightly.
"She ordered i bring her back alive and we rather not disappoint her again"bonnie stated as the two serial killers were about to kiss.
"My isn't this a rather spicy sight"another female voice said revealed to be betty parker that was in her usual attire.
"What do you want dear? Let me guess a double date with your honey?"Selket teased
"Oh i would love to but hes busy leading the charge with kiyo and weaver. I just wanted to say i'll be getting invoeld in this since we sent maya to handle my task with dealing with those two girls"betty stated
"If your assuming that we'll be ready when it is time to bring the hammer down on haven then yes. Just as long at your ready as well"Bonnie said firmly.
"I will be. At least salem knows if that i won't fail my missions. Just don't behind dear mari thanatos or your spot next to salem will belong to someone else"betty taplied taking a little jab at bonnie failures but she called her a diifneret name,
Bonnie growled almost wanting to strangle the gangster right now if she didn't want to upset salem further. But a sharp pain rang in her head for a moment hearing a voice.
"Mommy please don't leave"a familiar voice said as she looked confused for a moment.
"Ughh i hate that girl sometimes. Only useful since her and clay have mistral control under their gang"bonnie said rubbing her head.
"Well we have to make due though you hear what happened to conri?"tyrian asked since his lovely killer just returned with their new warriors today.
"No i haven't why?"selket questioned as he had some terrible news.
"It appears alpha failed his mission. The first one has been slain possible by the traditor"tyrian said.
"Well thats a shame i recall him hating him back then. Oh well opens a spot for one of us to become her favorite."selket said planting a kiss on his check as bonnie walked away from the two before they got frisky as they prepared for their invasion and to steal the relic. But who voice was that she heard.
Morning returned to deepdwald as everyone was awake already prpearedd to leave as they all were waiting for one person qrow to get up.
"Okay were all up but yet he isn't"nora said rather annoyed
"I know right though he was in the bathroom for a long time"mercury said
Then they heard footsteps coming downstairs as he came into their view. He was in his normal attire but a notiacbale thing was his clean shaven face.
"So you took forever because you needed to shave?"rogue asked
"Hey hygiene is important plus gotta look good for when i find my girl"qrow replied making ruby gag slightly.
"Ew gross please don't phrase it like that"ruby said earning a chuckle.
"Alright. But we hate to have to leave sis but we gotta get going. The quicker we leave the faster we can get to havan"jaune stated
"No problem you all got a mission. But if you're headin to haven then you;re going to need a map"poppy siad as she brushed past them heading toward the lviign room. She went over toa cabinet and pulled out a map of mistral entirely as she rolled it out.
"Okay this is where deepwald is"poppy said pointing to where they were currently.
"And you want to get here to mistral where haven is"she added pointing to the capital.
"You're best chance it to head west and then head straight north. You'll come to a point where you'll find two mountains on each side that will be the entrance to mistral. Be careful though some strong grimm out that way maybe even grimm hybrids"poppy warned.
Tina looked at the map as ruby scnnaed the map so they don't lose their away.
"Judging by the distance from here to mistral. It might take you three to four days uncle jaune"tina replied
"Plenty of time then for sis and the others to meet us their"Ruby replied
Poppy walked over hugging her brother"please be safe out their and don't make the wrong choice"poppy stated
Jaune returned the gesture"i will because i have an old friend i gotta beat in a sparring match"he said as they separated and the group walked out of the house beginning to head west out of deepald as they were bidded goodbye by the twon reisdnets for saving them. Now on their way to mistral and hopefully without having anymore surprises.
Seems ruby and company are fianlly off to havan to stop the white fang and their attack. While jaune thought about how pyrrha would react seeing him saying hes planning on killing someone in her name. Though it seems bonnie is struggling herself. Thanks for reading!
