Chapter 90: False Lead
All three groups quickly regroups in the bar car as barry was examining the new corpse they just got. As kobe was tapping his foot with a rather annoyed look mixed with worry.
"So let me get this straight so i can understand this. Their is now not one but two body and they were both murderrer by someone you still haven't found yet. Am i missing anything?"kobe asked very not happy about this situation.
"No you didn't judging by how the body is torn up around the neck. I believe it might be a throat slit judging by how his neck was cut probably a broken shard of glass. Maybe even our culprit right here?"barry said pointing the blame to lazu.
Bashira shook her head"no because for starters i saw someone exactly like her run in the opposite direction"she reminded
"And she was with us the entire time which means…someone might be impresoanting someone with a false identity"eria said coming to a conclusion.
"Thats just great and their are like a dozen people on this train. How can we find the fake?"neptune asked rather annoyed now.
"Hmm well micheal umber and that tom birch guy must have enemies or something"dravan said but immediately merrick noticed those names.
"Wait umber and birch…those are our victims last names?"merrick questioned.
"Yes that was the first victim. Do you know him?"barry asked
"Know him. More like read about him in the news reports. Umber was a scientist working to create dust from scratch and that this dust may be even more ffeicent than regular dust. So efficient it could even power more than one machine at a time. That type of science would be revolutrioanry dust production."merrick replied
"You think someone killed them becuase of that"oscar asked
Merrick nodded"maybe tom was his partner in creating the dust. Probably on a business trip together"merrick said
"Well tom did mention before he died that he was planning on meeting with his friend micheal"bashira said before lazuli thought of something.
"You got a list of the passenrger on board and where each of them are staying?"lazuli asked
"Of course"kobe said producing a piece of paper handing it to her.
"I've got plenty of spares on hand keep that one. Why do you need it?"kobe asked as lazuli scanned the list contiang the train passengers.
"For starters if their making revolutionary dust. Betty parker may have been hired her mask lets her disguises as anyone micking their voice even"lazuli said reminding the group of that women.
"That might be a possibilite. My partner and leader ran into in menagerie a while back."eria replied
"Its a start we'll head back to our room to talk to the others. Then explore more"lazuli said taking the reigns on this as they left the bar car. Not before getting a picture of tom corpse.
As they left barry was with them as some huntsman carried tom bodie with care to where micheals was.
"I'll be examining tom corpse stop by later if you want any more new leads"barry said walking forward but as they did something fell from tom corpse which went unnotice by some but not neptune. The waterphob picked it up confused as barry was ahead of them.
"Hey guys whats this thing?"neptune asked as they turned to see him holding a long piece of shining wire with two small handles.
"I don't know never seen anything like this before"bashira said touching it but pulled her finger back as it cut it.
"Gah! What the heck that piece of string cut my finger"bashira said sucking on her figner to stop the bleeding. Oscar examined it a little closer for a moment.
"Hmm seems that may be our murder weapon. We should return to the others to tell them what we found"ozpin said in his head.
"That might be our murder weapon. We should talk to the others but have someone go talk to the first victims wife"oscar said already thinking a step ahead.
"Smart move me and uncle will investigate that. You all return to the room to let the others know what happened"eria replied as they split off their own separate ways but eria was nervous to talk the wife of the victim. While the others decided to tell the other what happened, but someone watched them that being barry with a completely different face.
His had fandango colored hair spiked up with tan skin along with a long scar over his right eye. His eyes were dark blue in color but on his neck was a crimson talon tattoo.
"Rach be ready for anything if they come for questioning. I'll continue the ruse"barry said before messing around with his face like clay until he sembled his previous look. Then continued his way.
The two hayleys walked for maybe ten minutes to reach their destination which was provided on the paper they were given by the conductor.
"Alright says here she in room 23. And two doors down from tom none of the less. "Eria said groaning a little dreading this now.
"Don't worry my cold niece. Lets just take it easy with her and ask her if she saw anything"Dravan reassured but was nerovus himself hiding it.
They soon reached the room they seek with a big gold 23 number was priminted on the sliding door. Eria took a breath and gave it a solid knock on the door.
The door knob turned to reveal lucy their in her usually attire. But the women eyes narrowed into a glare remembering the two.
"And what do you two cretins want?"she growled angrily at the two hayley as eria gulped nervous.
"Oh she is definitely ticked off. Just keep your cold composure"eria thought nerouvsly before clearing her throat.
"Are you lucy umber?"eria asked. The women crossed her arms under her bust still holding the glare.
"I obviously am you saw me during what happened early"lucy said before exiting the room closing the door behind her slowly which confused the two.
"Well we understandstand but we also are here to solve your husband murder and we just want to help ma'am"Dravan said
"Oh it should be taken care of that crow faunus was the one who did it"she replied again.
"No because their was a second murder. Witness claim she did but the thing was she was with us near the front of the train."eria replied peeking the women interest slightly.
"Along with the second murder supect being one tom birch you know him?"dravan asked as her glare quickly disappeared replaced with a look of shock.
"Wait tom dead?"she asked shocked as the two nodded.
"Yes look this may be hard to hear but were sorry for your loss ma'am"eria replied
"I appeircate it young lady. But it sort of lessen the blow only by a little bit even it doesn't"lucy said somberly. Eria knew where exactly the women was coming thinking of pyrrha and tanner for a moment before refocusing on the task at hand.
"We do apolgize but could we talk inside your cabin to avoid any prioring eyes"Dravan asked as lucy flinch slightly shaking her head.
"I..i'm sorry i can't…me and my husbands kids are sleeping. Still trying to find out how to tell them"lucy replied with a worried look.
Dravan sighed crossing his arms"thats terrible to hear for a parent to even have to do for their kids. Look we just have some questions"he said
"Ask me anything that might help find the real killer"She replied
Eria thought for a moment before thinking of what to say until a full minute passed.
"Did your husband and knew each other? Like friends even?"eria asked
Lucy thought a moment before as if thinking of what to say until she came to something.
"Well….tom and micheal were partner since they were at a young age since they went to atlas academy. Though they'd also have this competitive streak with them. The two became nearly inseparable along with their friend will scarlitina"lucy replied peeking eria interest hearing about velvet dad having close ties to these two. He may be heartbroken.
"That a nice friendship. Those three sound close it seems"dravan said
"Of course they were. Though tom and micheal didn't start that way"lucy added
"How that happen?"eria aksed
"Well thing is….those two came from different social classes. Tom was raised in the higher classes in Atlas while micheal came from the lower ranks of mantle. Believe me when i say that coming from mantle and attending atlas academy didn't look good in front of others. Tom at first was very stuck up and cocky kid who skill were bought"lucy replied
"Sounds like a real jerk to me"dravan said
"Oh more than a jerk. Then when teams were formed micheal was made the leader of the team in which making tomthrow a hissy fit about saying because of his training and skill he should have been made team leader and not some dreg from the lower class. The headmaster didn't see it that way and ignored his request to be made the team leader."lucy began.
"Alright what made him change exactly?"eria asked
"It was after our first mission…i got severely injureid by a dust blast from tom mistake. The headmaster was so furious at this he wanted to expel tom for his behavior but micheal internved saying that he would take the responsibility for tom behavior. From what i hear the heamdaster came them at most two to four weeks of detention then after that they started toc connect and become quite the duo"lucy replied
Dravan chuckled slightly recalling how him and jaki would get in fight back in beacon. Until eventually realzing their shared bond with each becoming quite the duo themselves.
"That quite a tale. Though something is still bothering me. From what we've heard these two were scientist after retiring as huntsman. Did they ever have any enemies of the sort?"dravan asked
Lucy thought for a moment"no none i heard of. At least from what i know of"lucy answered but stopped for a moment.
"Although before we bored tom was acting weird saying how someone that could change their faces was following him for a few weeks"lucy added which confirmed their suspension of someone masking as one of the passengers.
Then suddenly the door to the room slide open to reveal two kids that both seemed to be the same age seven.
They were a boy and a girl with the girl slighter taller than the boy. Each of them had short brown hair with dark green eyes. The boy wore a light green shirt and balck short while the girl wore a light pink shirt but their was one thing that was disnticive with both of them having faunus ears of a red panda.
"Alec, emily what are you two doing up?"lucy asked concerned it seems.
"We got scared their might be monsters outside the train"the girl known as emily said rubbing her eyes. But then both of them hide behind their mother for safety.
"Momma who is this?"the boy known as alec asked
"Oh well um…they are.."lucy tried to find something to say but nothing came out. Luckily dravan had something that could answer the two.
"Well hello you two. I'm a huntsman and this is my niece a huntress. We here to take care of those bad people and protect you from these monster that may come after the train here"dravan said the ever dramatic. The two kids looked at him with an awe inspired look.
"Really!"alec said gleefully.
"Uh huh. Though its not an easy job though we get our own stories to tell"eria replied
"Does that mean you found daddy and uncle tommy?"the girl questioned. The question almost threw the two off guard but kept their composure.
"Yeah…we'll find your daddy and uncle. My niece aint expienrced huntress but she got grit i'll tell yah"Dravan compliemnted his niece.
"Though we struggle with finding things notice anything strange?"eria asked
The two little kids gasped at the chance to actually help a huntsman and huntress as they turned to their mother.
"Can we momma? Can we help?"they asked her.
"I don't see why not?"lucy said happily as they turned back to the two.
"Alright. You two must hear and see things pretty well with your cute little ears right?"eria asked as they both nodded.
"Okay but did you two hear or see anything early near the lounge car. Where where you early?"dravan asked as the kids began to rack their brains around if they saw or heard anything.
"I don't know…we were near the room with all the bags early"alec said making lucy look worried slightly.
"You shoudln't be going that far on your own"she said pinching his cheeks a little in a sweet voice.
"Alright but did you two notice anything particular in the room at all early or pass by that car?"dravan asked with hope it seems.
"No because its that way"emily said pointing to the opposite direction of the lounge car.
"But we saw a strange person in their"alec added which peeked their interest on what they meant by strange.
"Strange how? Did they see you or hurt you?"eria asked immediately concerned if the murderer might target them next.
Emily shook her head"no we hide but he kept talking to someone"she said trying to recalled what happened next until her brain gave her the answer.
"He kept saying how he'll find a drive…why would he need a car?"emily innocently added
"I don't know sweetie but did you two notice anything particular about this man any deifning features?"dravan added as alex raised his hand at that begging to be called upon.
"Oh…oh i saw a scary red claw tattoo on his neck"alec eagerly siad.
But the two went wide eyed hearing that as they quickly pieced toegheter who their culprit might be a crimson talon soldier.
"Thank you two for your help"dravan thanked petting both their heads in unison.
"Alright you two now get to bed. These two need to get back to work so we can keep the train moving"lcuy said as her children headed back into the room to sleep again.
"They don't their father or tom are coming back. I really don't wanna tell them about what happened"lucy said holding her left arm.
Eria then turned to her before she spoke"ma'am i sugges you do that tell them what happened. I can tell that you adopted them despite you two being humans. Please they need to know what happened but i'll let you know this. We'll bring the ones who did this so that you can finally have peace. And i make good on my word"eria said confidence.
Lucy was rather hesitant at first as she looked away from them but she looked back to them with a confident look.
"Alright they deserve to know. Find who did this this please…maybe that girl didn't do it"lucy pleaded
"Consider it done"eria replied as they walked down the train corridor.
"So it seems that we have a merc on the train. You think hes after those plans on their new dust design?"dravan asked as she nodded.
"Of course they are. Were lucky we took this train now to stop them from having unlimited dust production"eria said as they decided to head to where tom room was which wasn't a long walk surprisingly. Once they got their they immediately noticed the room being torn to shreds like someone was in here recently.
The bed sheets were torn off with some clothes sturned about the place like someone was searching something. Which just cofnirmed the two theory on someone looking for something. They began to search the place as dravan found a heavy duty briefcase on the bed but it was opened as their was nothing in it but a spar pair of clothing. Though he noticed a comparament was also opened with an empty tan file.
"Well seems like our culprit already got that file on whatever that dust is"dravan said as eria took a picture of the empty file as she walked around for a bit. Then spotted something on the ground picking it up for a moment a name tag.
"Hmm seems someone left their nametag here…one racheal amazon"eria said pocketing the name tag for further use.
"That very strange though we should look over this briefcase again see if they missed anything"dravan suggested as eria nodded before feeling around the inside of the briefcase where the files was originally inside the case.
"Your not wrong most times people have a secret compartment or something. Their has to be something they missed here"eria said to herself beginning to rubbing her hand on the inside of the case and rubbed her hand over a spot that had a little bump on it which was rather strange.
She rubbed it again making sure it was the same spot and luckily it was but it was in the inner layer of the briefcase. She gesuted for a small knife has dravan handed her a small pocket knife as she began to cut away at the inner layer of the briefcase just enough for something to fall out. A small flash drive colroed brown and purple.
Eria took a picture of the flash drive before placing it in her legs secret compartment for safe keeping making sure they didn't loose it.
"Lets head back to the others and tell them what we just found."Eria said as he nodded at that walking immediately back to their room. While close by was nicole watching the two of them but with a dark look on her face placing her fingers to her ear where an earpiece was.
"Sir they searched his room again. And they seem to have found something how should i proceed?"rachela asked as she paused a moment before speaking again.
"Very well. I'll lure one of them away…probably the blue haired boy"racheal replied as she took her finger away beginning to steathily follow the two.
Early though in the room where raven and the other were they were waiting for their return. Mainly playing a deck of cards with each other to pass the time. As raven kept guard with omen resting on her lap the entire time. While they played cards miltia kept glancing every few seconds toward her sister room who was still sound asleep right now.
Weiss groaned from boredom before throwing the cards down onto the floor they were playing on.
"Alright this isn't getting boring at all, is it bad i'm jealous the others are solving a murder case?"weiss asked as her tail swayed.
Raven simply chuckled"A little though it would be an interesting story to tell. But you three would draw alot of attention since you need to keep your hoods up"She pointed out to the three faunus who understood that.
Adam dipped his head"well for starters let hope they find the suspect soon because with all this chao grimm will sure to come"he said glancing out at the window.
Their was a large rocky wall that had a large cliff on the top of it with snow raining down onto the tracks and train. But what he worried about what that a swarm of grimm mainly manticores may attack the train which woudln't be good. Though if they run into a grimm knight which he hopes they don't they at least have something to stun them.
"Then what do you suggest we do for the past hour we've been just playing different cards games."miltia stopped before giving a cocky smirk.
"That i've beaten both of you at…can't stop my winning streak"milita said cockly as her tail swayed around since she been beating their butts for the past hour. Though weiss noitced her continsuouly staring into meanlie room who let out a small cough.
Weiss sighed"look we know your worried about her. But don't worry she'll be fine it was smart seeking help"she said
"Maybe just surprised that a schnee is even so kind to faunus. Though with what i've seen and heard their might only be one bad one"miltia reassured which it did for her.
But as they sat their for a bit longer adam was curious about one thing that being the grimm knight files they have. Walking over to the bag they had them in along with the map and syringe case. Digging through it for a bit he was curious about the ones they have yet to run into.
Raven noticed the notebook in his hands"let me guess you want to study any possible threats we may run into when we reach havan?"she asked as he nodded.
"Yes, along with that see if they have any glaring weakness. "Adam said flipping the notebook open as the other two decided to join him. Weiss glanced at his shoulder only seeing maybe seven pages full of information with a couple drawing on some of them. She noticed how well down they were assuming maybe velvet did it since she was with them.
Weiss hummed slightly"Seems our friends were smart to send this to us. Look at all this it might not be much but…"She stopped as adam was reading subject alphas also conri the beowulf knight.
Adam decided to read it aloud"subject alpha. Conri also known as kewok a cannibal serial killer. It seems they employ serial killers to their cause extneisvly."adam stated not surprised.
"Yes though…that one the one known as subject tau. Her name seems oddly familiar."milita pointed out to the dossier on kiyo. Which got their attention wondering if she knew this women.
"Do you know her?"weiss asked as milita thought for a moment before she could the room was opened as lazuli and her group stepped in.
"Oh your all back. Let me guess you found more evidence on our culprit?"raven asked
"Well we sort of did along with a second victim one tom birch. "Bahsira replied surprsing them their was a second.
"So it seems our killer struck again. Anything noticable on the body when he was killed?"Adam asked as oscar retrieved the strange murder weapon that fell off of tom bodie.
"Their was this the doctor said he died to a throat slit wound. But the string on this thing is very razor sharp"oscar said as miltia eyed it for a moment. Gesutring for him to hand it to her she took it examining it for a moment. Then she gripped the handles before pulling them apart as they shined from the nearby sunlight in the window.
Raven raised an eyebrow"that isn't string looks more like a metal wire, probably used it to cut into the second victims neck"she added as miltia confirmed what the tool was.
"This is fiber wire, razor sharp non matellic weapon typically like garrote wire. People mainly assassin use this to kill their target quick and sleintly"miltia explaind expertly surprising them that she even knew about that.
"How do you know about that?"neptune asked as her eyes sank a little as her tail fluffed up in fear. Miltia placed it down walking to a bed hugging herself looking away from them. Lazuli knew why sitting down rubbing her back gently.
"You guys even hear about a prepatrry school known as lady browning school for girl?"lazuli suddenly asked
"Can't say we have. "Weiss replied as milita visible flinch even by the mention of that school shaking a little. Raven studied her posture for a moment piecing it together.
"I'm guessing this school has very close ties to her family and yours?"raven asked as lazuli growled at the question. Some guessed maybe that her parents might be associated with the school which makes her hate them.
"Let me guess your parents run that school or something?"adam questioned but it was the opposite
"No. for starters it run by some old bag who teaches girls from upper class family to be proper ladys. Along with teaching them how to be skilled assassin in most forms of spy work, epsinogae you name it. Their also one of its previous graduate named carmel vanilla."lazuli begun peeking weiss interest a little hearing that name.
"Wait a minute that's a rich family from vale. They had an estate in the area until moving to mistral after their daughter trivia died years ago"weiss said which make lazuli seeth in rage hearing that.
"Her daughter aint dead, that bitch dropped her off in the middle of the winter in vale"lazuli growled in rage as it confused them how she would even know that.
Neptuen scratched his head"how would you even know that?he asked as adam thought for a moment piercing who that might be.
"Your talking about neo aren't you? She's trivia vanilia isn't she"adam suddenly asked them as lazuli nodded.
"She is…that vile old hag left her to the elements. She almost died from hyptohermia that night but luckily dad found her on time. After that she became me and my dumb brother little sister. But mil and mel here used to go to that academy too"lazuli sadly said as milita finally spoke.
"Were lucky we got out when we did…after all the abuse they gave us"milita added sadly hurting weiss a little hearing that. But soon they refocused on their task.
"So we got a murder weapon identifed lets hope the hayley had some luck"oscar said as neptune got a text on his scroll from them.
"They want us to meet them in the lounge car again, lets go"neptune said as their group took their leave letting the five continue waiting for this to be over with. It didn't take them lon to get to the lounge car as waiting for them was eria, dravan, kobe,merrick and lazu.
"Ah their you guys are did you see what my text read?"eria asked as they all nodded
"We did so where dealing with crimson talon. Just great though find anything else?"bashira asked as eria presented the flashdrive then placed it on her scroll as it pulled of a shipping manifest on it with departure dates and how many of each item.
"Whoa paladins, weapons, dust, robotic soilders. That enough to have a small autonomous army, you think their planning to attack an academy?"lazu asked as their group knew what academy they might attacked but rather not have them get involved.
"It seems so, these guys must be after the shipping manifest to steal those shipments"bashira replied
"Yes though we also found nametage in tom room. "Eria said presenting the name tag.
Neptune tapped his chin for a moment"you think from what we saw early that she was impresonated by this faker?"he asked
"That could be guess we have two suspects right now"lazuli said sitting down picking up a bottle of water drinking it.
"Our first suspect barry wick. Hes been assiting on examining the bodies but early when we tried to leave with a bolt to examine it he stopped us. Which was strange and he didn't even notice that the first victim was posioned by black widow venom"lazuli said catching lazu offguard.
"Hold up that venom can cause someone to die over a short amount of time in minute. But if ingested its fatal"lazu pointed out
"Percisly because look at this glass right here?"lazuli said grabbing a glass over the counter presenting it. On the bottom of said glas a strange residue was on the bottom of it.
oscar cupped his chin"its seems someone might have posioned his drink, but that makes you a suspect for knowing the venom"he regretaable said
"Not exactly because that cane tom had a large dent on the end of it. Early your account states for someone knocking you out right?"neptune asked as she nodded rubbing the bump on her head.
"Which means that our second suepct might be his assistant racheal amazon. We visited her early saying how she spotted him leaving the lounge car with his cane. But that nametag being left in the room may pin her as a possible scapegoat. Though she could be a possible accomplises or suspect"lazuli said expertly going into detail.
"Hmm one of them could be the murderer but you said someone early changed into appearance early"kobe said not sounding convinced until merrick seemed to hum remebrirng something.
"Hold on that name. Rahceal amazon she sounds familiar"merrick said whipping out his scroll searching for the name mentioned until it pings as his eyes went wide immedialty.
"Holy crap! Look at this no wonder her name sounded familiar."merrick said showing them his scroll as it showed an article featuring rahceal and a man named dango daws on the front cover in atlas uniforms.
"Atlas special forces member racheal amazon and dango daws dishonorably discharged for using excessive force on a civlians to obtain information and disobeying orders from a superior office"eria read the article aloud.
"So she and this guy were discharge from the military. And special forces?"neptune asked
"Their a group like ace ops but they don't stay in atlas. Their deployed all over remnant and given certain task. Weather that be to eliminate a certain person that causes trouble or enemy strongholds"merrick explained
"So…these two might be ex special forces joining up with a group cormpised mainly of hired killers. Great…just great"eria sarccatislaly and coldly said
Lazuli rubbed her eyes for a moment"we got a lead now on who were dealing with. We should split up to cover more ground and watch out for her and this partner of hers"she said before dropping the water bottle toward neptune direction on accident as he jumped back in compelte fear of it.
"Ah! Nope…nope! Keep that away from me"he shriekd like a girl catching them offguard a little.
"Whats with you all of a sudden kid?"dravan questioned as neptune blushed very embarrassed right now as eria sighed rubbing her eyes.
"Neptune is deathly scared of water…despite his family being pro swimmer and him being named after water"eria answered
Neptune rubbed his neck embarrassed"sorry i got my reason to hate water. Though where should we head off to?"he qeustioned qucikyl diverting the topic peeking bahsira interest a little.
"Someone should search the luggage area for anything their along with checking up on lucy and her kids just incase. We'll continue inveisgating here and examine tom body again"lazuli suggested as they all nodded at that. Neptune and bashira volunteered to check on lucy and the baggage hold while the rest did their other task
As they walked toward the room it was a rather awkward ten minutes of silence for a moment as bahsira decided to start some conversion up.
"So you used to go to havan academy right?"bashira asked as he nodded
"Yeah me and my teammates scarlet and sage moved their with sun. we all got placed on a team together not long after. Their back in shade right now watching out for some people. Scarlet mainly his boyfriend"neptune replied
Bashira raised an eyebrow at that"oh let me guess some desert rat peeked his interest"she teased but a somber look came to his face.
"No uh nolan portifiro. The guy lost both his legs during the fall, hes best friend with may zedahng. Both of them lost their teammates"neptune sally correct making her sigh looking down.
"That upsetting to hear…we did lose alot of people that day. Though you got lucky to survive the fall"bashira said but he laughed because it was the opposite.
"Nah try the opposite i almost got carried off by a grimm for its grimm hatching"neptune slightly joked making her laugh at that a little which made him smile a little.
"Funny, though if your here who saved your sorry butt?"bashira asked
Neptune rubbed his neck"uh well princess ice queen leader actually. Guy shot down the grimm carrying me off catching me then handed me off to sun. though…guy was messed up i'll tell you what"he replied still surprised he alive. Bashira knew what he meant recalling her last run in with him.
"I know what you mean, seriously kept coughing blood up. Though guess doing some good paid off. But.."she paused heistanting for a moment to ask him a question on why he was afraid of water. He noticed her pause.
"Something up?"neptune aksed as the tall girl froze slightly before sighing heavily.
"Well uh…why exactly are you even scared of water. Not to be rude or anything"bashira qucikly replied as the waterphobe paused for a moment leaning against a wall looking down with a hurt look. It was silence for a moment before he spoke.
"Eh well my brother jupiter when i was maybe four years old. He tried to help me learn how to swim by tossing me into the ocean to teach me."neptune begun
"That isn't messed up at all but continue"bashira replied
"After that my semblance activated that day i can pull and attract water toward me. Like hydrokineiss but when it happened i forced a bubble of water over him. I almost drowned him..it was just an accidnet. Examining the place for a bit until he started to smell something awful as he plug his noise. Neptune glanced toward a very large bag probably the source of the smell with flys buzzing around it. Carefully walking over he slowly unzipped it going wide eyed at what was inside.
That being the dead body of barry wick with very pale and cold skin as he gagged slightly from the sight.
"Oh no…theirs a third victim i gotta tell the others"neptune said but then a pair of hands where wrapped behind him as they held him in place by his throat. Neptune tried to break free until a pair of footsteps could be heard as he glanced toward the source. That being a man in a crimson talon operative uniform that being dango smirking at him.
"Good job rach. Now let me get the look just right"dango said as he began to press against his face for a bit. To his shock it moved around clay as he began to rearrange his face with cracks being heard until a perfect copy of him stood infront of him.
"What type of freaky stuff is this?"neptune asked but soon felt something sharp pierce his back as he cried in pain but rahceal covered his mouth. Then he felt a little woozy as she moved him over toward a crate nearby tossing him inside it. But not before taking his weapon handing it too dango who pressed a button on his wirst changing his clothes to match neptunes like a hologram.
"Thank you for the help kid. Just sit here and die slowly and painfully"dango said in his voice before closing the crate. Neptune layed their groaning at his situation trying to reach for his scroll but groaned slightly. That knife hurt piericng through his aura as he luckily finally pulled it out. Finding eria number on his contact he decided to message her instead.
"Racheal and Dango are the murderers. Offer me a cup of water. injured . bagged room please help"neptune message as he hoped she could get help before he bleeds out or they escape.
Seems neptune found the suspects for their murder mystery but he stabbed him and changed his face into him? Dango seems to really want that drive they found possible for nefarious purposes. Dango is my own oc and context based him on an old batman beyond villians with the name flase face. Thanks for reading
