Chapter 100: Planning A Kidnapping
It was a late night in the city and capital of mistral right now as nothing was stirring awake at that moment not even a criminal. Althought deep in the lower levels of the mighty capital was something else in the works at the moment. That being home to the worst and worst that misral has to offer because it was known for something else that was far worse than anything else.
As near a certain club like distract their sat a certain club right now as it was a three story tall club build into the walls of the nearby mountains. Their were several windows throughout the place along with it having a 1980s theme to it. As the second floor had a balcony on and that was big enough for guest and club patrons to dance or visit. While in front four thugs were guarding the front entrance and letting certain people in.
Although inside the club right now walking the halls was julia who seemed to know the place right now. As the guards and thugs let her through as a couple of them were playing poker in a bunk like area as they spotted here.
"Yo kid! "One called out being a female knucklduster as she faced toward them as their were maybe five in total at a wooden table. As poker chips and cards lined the table as in the very center was a jackpot of several lien coins along with some bags that seemed to be drugs that being blessing. A highly addictive drug and proudct they sell.
"Whats up i'm kinda busy gotta go talk to the boss right now"julia asked annoyed
"Come on just wanted to ask a quick question. Where about to start the tournament at some point got anyone you think might wanna join? If you do you could earn some lien for your troubles?"she asked as the girl thought for a moment shaking her head
"Nope no one comes to mind at the moment. But i gotta go and if you use that product i'm telling my mom"julia warned as the thugs quickly cleared the table of the small baggies as she smirked
Then the girl continued her way up some stairs before being met by a pair of double doors with the knuckleduster symbol craved into them. The guards opened the door letting her into what seemed to be an office like area. As their was a large oak desk in the office along with their bening bookshelves around the right side of the officer. With subject mainly on mistral and a bit on marketing it seems.
While their also sat a large table that had a map of mistral but it was left blank for some reason. Though noticeable behind the desk right now was a large tank that contained something hidden behind very hard glass that being a shark as it swam in its tank. Though right now at the desk someone was in the middle of a scroll call as their chair was turned away.
"Boss relax i got my boy working double time on making sure our new employer is happy alright. "She said talking to clay burrows on the other end
"Jenny you better be doing something over their. Because this is a big gig we got and i aint gonna throw it away. If we do this we could run mistral…..the entire kingdom"clay said on the other end to this women named jenny
Jenny lifted her hand up"i know doll because right now i'm working on something else on the side. Had gole and some of my guys make sure those mercs got their weapons. Heard he met one of our employers kids or whatever"She replied as julia cleared her throat
"Uhhh hey mom are you busy sorry to interrupt you but i um….got some news"julia said nerouvsly as the women sitting in the chair sighed
"Gotta call you back later boss daughter here. Shes busy helping me get another little ransom victim for us"jenny said
Clay laughed on the other end"that fine but don't get in over your head girl thats club you own. Its a good source of our revenue their"he warned as she nodded hanging up as she turned to face her.
As it revealed a women in her late thirties as she had tan skin along with a set of light brown eyes. Her hair was long colored black that was very wavy along with that she had a slender build with an hourglass shape to her.
As for her attire she wore a pair of flared brown pants with a pair of black dress heels. Their was also how she was wearing a simple dark blue dress shrit with a signature black tie to match with it. While shre wore dark grey dress jakcet over it as she had a hairpin of a bullfinch in her hair.
"Theirs my little girl i was wondering where you were going since you had to sneak away from your fathers place. Let me guess you told him you were hanging out with friends?"jenny asked hugging her daughter it seems as jenny nodded
"I did idiot falls for anything when i out that act up. All he does it baby my little brother that ugh he says is my mom"julia said in disgust as julia sighed covering her temple pressing down on it for a moment.
"That man is lucky i even dated him in that dumb relationship we had. And then he divorces me out of nowhere and takes you with your brother. But yet they stay here since he can't get a new job anywhere else. But…"she stopped before sitting down as julia sat across from her
"Tell me what you got on that heiress? If we can grab her and ransom her off to that business her parents own. We could get as many airship we need for our little plan here to take over the entire kingdom. Which makes me and the other underbosses of the gang become part of the council"She said sweetly
"And that would mean it would prove sticking it to my dad for regretting dirvorcing you"julia asked as the women smiled softly.
"Yes and we can even have a nice little penthouse ontop of the capital. My boss will want results for this but we just gotta wait for him and his friends to arrive to help us. But tell me how do you think you can get on that girls good side to reel her into a trap"jenny asked as julia smiled before grabbing out her scroll before showing something that being the picture of diamona therapist office along with picture of zephyra leaving several times with two others.
"I've noticed recently that she has bodyguards with her at all times. But i caught one of them with this"she said pushing a picture forward of baker as on his right wrist was an atlas military tattoo with two spears and a helmet. Jenny flinched seeing that.
"Atlas spartans….course that spoiled brat would have them guarding her at all times. How many of them have you seen?"she replied
'Two so far but i've been keeping an eye on them like you wanted in the last week. I've noticed how she hangs out with her teammates and some others alot. But running into her day did get me on some terms with her. Maybe if i'm lucky i could cut her off at some point apologize for how i behaved then maybe play a pity act with her"julia explained as her mother thought for a moment before a wicked grin came to her face
"That might work rumor is around town i heard she really doens't like that mother of hers. And…well she also seemed to have a thing for someone who died on her team"she said before clapsing her hands together.
"I want you to pretend that you've lost someone recently and how your thinking of therapy. But don't know any good places to go to for it and if she suggest that place. Tell her that you'll try it tomorrow"jenny explained as julia nodded going with the plan until a knock on the door could be heard
"Come in?"jenny called out as the door oepend to reveal gole their walking in stretching his back out for a moment in relief.
"Heyy boss got those faunus dropped off at one of our safehouse working on processing them for work with the gang. They'll be going through intiaitiion soon enough and we got some boomsticks to defend ourselves"gole said before noticing julia their as he waved to her
"Well the runt is here what brings the head hanchos daughter here?"he asked
Jenny laughed"shes going to help us capture an heiress also known as zephyra hines. You'll be helping her with it and your going to be trnapsorting to kunchisnion. And i'm giving you a deadline two days complete it and you might earn yourself a reward"jenny said giving a deadline as gole groaned rubbing his face
"I'll get an airship kid you work on luring that brat into the trap. Get going we got business to discuss"gole said as julia nodded getting up waving them goodbye. Though once she was out of the room jenny smirked laughing to herself for a moment sighing
"God that girl is so gullible. I can't believe she fell for the act of how i'm going to betray clay and rule the gang as protectors. Change how we run things"jenny said grabbing a bottle pouring herself a drink as the amber liquid poured into it as gole chuckled lighting a cigar
The man took some puffs from it before exhaling some smoke from it as he tapped it into a ash tray.
"That girl is gullible but seriously can't belvie shes betraying your ex husband. That guy is so weird at times didn't you say he was very srecretive toward you and hide things from you."gole asked as the women sighed
"He did though i found out his family little secret which i'll properly tell the boss soon enoug. After hearing from our employee about one of her underling that died or whatever. Maybe his family could be useful…including that girl"jenny siad eivly as she had some plans to prepare mistral for the coming tragedy that will come to it
Though outside it was starting to ran as julia had an umbrella out shielding herself from it starting the walk back home. But on a nearby rooftop someone was watching her from the shadows with some binoculars. They eyed her down with a narrowed gaze scoffing
"Sweetie your making a terrible mistake right now. What are you planning on doing little girl"he said to himself as he planned to keep tabs on the girl that was hig daughter.
Although right now it was now a new morning over havan arigth now as the birds were chirping at that moment. As everyone was getting ready to start their days off on a good note. But right now in a specific dorm room in havan academy was perun in his room
The lighting rocker was sprawled out on his bed right now groaning a little as the sun was shining in his face. Eventually he covered his head with a pillow annoyed by the sun trying to avoid it right now as his alarm was blaring right now.
The alarm kept getting louder and louder until eventually he smacked it a few times silencing it as he sat up in a pair of boxer shorts without a shirt right now. The boxer where yellow with a lighting bolt colored black on it as he yawned covering his mouth.
"Ughhh guess i gotta get up….you up T?"he said casually before relaziing his mistake eyeing the very empty bed next to him seeing it was in a mess right now with the sheet all over the place.
"Oh right…your not here anymore….god this sucks"perun muttered to himself getting up in him and tanner part of the team room. As it was completely tidy and clean on his side with clothes in his draws along with some posters of their band together. Along with a few different ones that are from movies or bands that inspired him
But on tanner side it was very much worse for wear as their was laundry on the floor right now all over the place. Along with a hamper that was full of his clothes along with a wooden target their with some deep groves it suggesting someone praticed throwing their knives into it. But their was also the bed sheets being comply messed up and their was a large stereo their that had several CD tracks spread all over the place. Their was also an amp in the corner of the room as perun got up cracking his back.
He missed and forgot that tanner wasn't the best person and sometimes forget to clean his side of the room. Because hes always coming up with the next song their going to play at their next concert. He eyed his guitar close by picking it up as the neck was colored black along with the body of it being yellow as an anacarchy symbol was painted on it in black with a lighting bolt running through it.
The rocker held the guitar in hand eyeing his amp deciding to play some tunes to start his day. As he plugged the jack in he tuned it for a moment as the feed back loop rang out but he exhaled hearing that sound right now beginning to play his guitar for a bit remembering the first time he got to play infront of a huge crowd back in arugus.
Flashback two years ago
It was two years ago back in argus as the city was peaceful right now but right now a bunch of people were in the park area of the city right now. As right now a talent agency for a record label from atlas was their and they seeing who had the best talent in argus to see if they would sponsor them.
Because right now several different types of bands were playing in the park right now as their was a crowd of people out their cheering and listening to the wide selection of music being played right now. But backstage right now it was something else.
As in the backroom right now was a pnaicking perun right now pacing around the room like crazy. As his bandmates where doing their best to clam his nerves as slater was tapping his drumsticks on a couch right now. While orchie was tunning her base at that moment.
"Oh man…oh man this is so nerve racking were actually going to be playing infront of atlas records. One of the most illusive record companies in all of remnant. Man i'm so nervous"perun said
"Dude"tanner said
"What if we mess up! What if thye say we look like hobo since we aren't from well offf families. Do they care if we dress a certain way…do we need to wear a suit!"perun asked cotniuinging his rant
"Dude?"tanner asked if hes even listening to him.
Perun grabbed a handful of hair right now"we've never played with this many people before! What if i mess up and cost us that record deal i can't even get that dumb song we made down!. God my parents are out their and our friends what–"he was stopped as tanner placed his hands on him shaking him
"DUDE! Take a dam chill pill seriously your gonna stress yourself out you'll burst into flames out their"tanner said as his friend took a few deep breaths to calm his nerves as orchie looked up.
"Keep doing that a few times to calm yourself because your starting to stress us out over here even"orchie isnutrcted as he took a few deep breaths to get his pulse under control at that moment. He did this until he let out a relax sigh
"Their are you feeling more relaxed now buddy?"slater asked as perun nodded but looked down groaning at that moment.
"No because seriously this is so nerve racking right now. I'm so nervous….this could be our big break. Our one shot at fame to actually make it to the top despite well me and tanner training to become huntsman to provide for our families"he quickly replied as his best friend smacked him on the back
"Come on we got this because i have one of the best songs i've ever written right here!"tanner said presenting a notebook with several crude drawing all over it as it was his song book for all the ideas and songs he's written for their bands. Slater chuckled getting up twirlirng his drumsticks around.
"Yeah let me guess its gonna be something about sticking it to the law. You sure atlas might like that?"slater asked as he shook his head
"Nope remember i wrote that song about well not gonna spoil it for whoever is listening. But come on i'm sure we'll do great out their win or loose we still got to perform infront of an entire audience in argus"tanner cheered as soon enough an intercom came on into their room.
"May the group known as days of mania please come up to the stage. Your equipment is set up and the judges are waiting"The intercom said as they all got up as orchie grabbed her base as tanner grabbed his microphone while slater grabbed his drusmtciks. As perun grabbed his guitar case swallowing hard
They soon got to the staging area as the previous band walked off as they were approaching it as the announcer outside of it was talking to the crowd. As perun was mentally psyching himself up for their biggest performance yet right now.
"Come on man you got this…you got this calm down be calm. Don't freak out its just maybe fifty people"he thought before peeking out seeing over hundreds of people out in the crowd right now as he retreated behind the curtains
"Oh my god that is alot of people! I didn't think that many people would show up to this thing!"perun shotued with worry as soon enough someone familiar called out to the two as someone snorted laughing at him
"Man your freaking out like your about to explode. T whats up with crosby seriously what hes scared of a bunch of people"Rogue said walking over with a smug look as her sister was next to her looking a little down. As perun blushed seeing her a little as tanner noticed it.
Orchie shrugged her shoulder"nothing much crosby just being nervous about a little bit of a crowd. Im nervous but i'm just gonna picture them all naked or something"she causally said as they stared at her as tanner laughed
"Nice i'll just imagine them in like….eh i don't really care i'm just excited to perform tonight right now. Because this will be wicked!"tanner cheered as eria rubbed her arm as slater was curious how they got back here.
"How'd you two get back here anyway VIPS are only allowed back here?"he asked before rogue present two VIPS passed with their father company logo on it.
"Kinda obvious how we got back here dad had some connections sense he spsonring this thing. Besides we wanted to come wish you guys good luck big sis would of but ummmm…"she paused for a moment glancing outside toward the judges table right now as front and center their was a certain red hair girl who looked very nervous herself right now.
"Right the celebrity is a judge forgot about that though heard you and neps broke things off"orchie said as eria growled clenching her fist at that as ice covered her hands
"Do not talk about that blue haired jerk! Seriously he breaks things off like that it pisses me off that he would do something like that! So please do me a favor and don't talk about it"she warned codly as she backed off putting her hands up to calm her down.
Taner chuckled" man ice queen relax the guy was just one first love. Sure you'll fine someone eventually though anyone got a tip on claming my boy over here done. You've perofmred infront of large crowds before"he said as the frozen girl who cleared her throat stepping forward toward him
"Heres a tip just don't think about them. And just focus on what your going to do if they don't like it. It doens't matter your here to do something you enjoy if you win that just extra to the most important thing"She said placing her hands together
"Enjoying something you love to do and not even care if you win or lose. Though good luck out their i'm sure you'll all do amazing"She added as the two twins walked away as perun took her words to heart for a moment as his best friend eyed him
"So my buddy over here got a thing for the ice queen….guy who gonna ask her out says what?"tanner quickly siad
"What?"perun replied blushing mad right now as his face felt hot as the three laughed at him for falling for that. Orchie laughed pointing at him as slater chuckled tapping his sticks together.
"Man we've known about you having a crush on her for weeks now man. Since those two broke it off recently you could ask her to be your grirlfiend"slater said as perun rubbed his arm for a bit
"Not a good idea she just broke things off and shes fragile with her heart right now. Plus she a rich girl while i'm some guy whos parents shop struggle to make ends meat sometimes."he sadly said as soon enough the announcer said something.
"Please welcome the next challengers and finally contestants of the night. That being days of mania. A resident band of the mighty city of argus from what we've been told. Give them a hand!"the announcer said into the microphone as the crowd clapped cheering for them as they walked onto stage. Once they got onto stage they all got set up with their gear as perun swallowed hard staring out at the crowd.
He scanned it for a bit seeing his parents with his little sister further back along with tanners in a box with the hayley parents. Along with thetis standing their as the twins was their as he stared at eria from a distance as he thought about her advice.
Soon enough a buzzer rang as orchie began to play a piano that was set up for them as she pressed the keys for the song. As slater tapped the cymbals on his drum kit at a slow pace while tanner tapped his foot eyeing him nodding. Perun exhaled before beginning to strum his guitar at a slow pace closing his eyes not focusing on the crowd at that moment.
Then he slowly opened them to see no one only the judges their and the people he knew in the box. The rocker smiled a little before strumming the guitar at a slow and easy pace as tanner began to sing.

He kept singing as perun kept booping his head to the tune remembering how they praitced this song several times as he was just moving with the music right now. Enjoying himself because this was just fun playing with his friends right now.

The song kept going for what seemed like forever as they kept singing and playing for what felt like ages. As at one point nearing the end of the song perun began to play a solo at a very fast pace placing his foot ontop of a speaker booping his head up down smiling like no tomorrow. Soon enough they were over as he saw the crowd panting with sweat dripping on his body.
As they stayed silent for a moment the crowd erupted into cheers at that moment. But after a few minutes the judges began to announce the winners as all the bands where on stage right now an older man stepped forward onto stage clearing his throat
"I know we've had alot of amazing performances tonight from many different genres. But me and the other judges have discussed it the winner are.."he paused walking over before lifing tanner arm in the air.
"Days of mania are the winner of tonight comeptiion and now won a record label with our company!"he announced as the crowd cheered for them as orchie squealed hugging slater lifting him in the air right now. As tanner put both arms in the air cheering himself putting up bullhorns grabbing him
"I told you we could do it man! Next stop the best band in all of remnant!"tanner said as perun had a smile on his face with tears running down it as he hugged him in joy
"We actually did it! Oh my god i….i'm going to cry my eyes out!"he carried as tanner shook him wrapping an arm around him as this was one of the best nights every in his life right now. Before years later it got taken away from him.
Present
Perun sat their in his room before opening his eyes relaziing he was still playing his guitar. As swear beated down his body at that moment as he panted for a moment. Then the dopamine started to die down as he relaized what he was doing as he sighed setting his guitar down panting a little.
"Man…i…tottally forgot about that night…man it was something. Can't believe we got famous after only playing a few more gigs in atlas….mistral….vacuo and vale. God i…god dammit i miss you man"he cired to hismelf hugging himself as tears flowed down his cheeks.
But he decided to get showered up and changed for the day although eavesdropping on him was zephyra who eyed him down with a concerned look. Maybe that group therapy session won't be so bad after all.
After they all got some grub and something to eat perun and company regrouped as they were off to the airdocks right now. As they were following zephyra who had to follow her boygaurds who were with her at the moment. But as they did they made casually conversation along the way.
"So i take it one of these bruizers are going to be sent back to atlas"tyra said pontign to the two.
"Kid you need to learn some respect when talking to us. We've got a job to do and i said step back from the heiress"baker warned pushing her back slightly as he had a suitcase in hand but was in his military gear right now mainly consiting of something similar the altas spartans wear. While bediou was in her casual clothing with her hands behind her head
"Yo baker chill out the girls her friend or whatever. Though who do you think will be your replacement"bediou asked as the man thought
"My guy is might either be sarah…ramierze…rico…grinch…or…harper"he listed some names off actually seeming to relax
"Man you military guys are weird. Seriously i don't know why were allowed to knwo you two are military soilders or whatever"bombay asked as the two eyed the three herienss in their midst
"Kid for starter our commander knows mrs. yoder family for years. Though i heard your aunt who was friend with the commander changed companies or whatever. What is that about?"bediou asked as thsitie shrugged her shoulder
"I honelty don't know….maybe she changed being offer a better deal. Heard she joined the hayley sister father company. We even heard that her and weiss are safe and sound from their kidnappers"thisite said
Perun smiled hearing that"that so nice to hear maybe they could even be arriving in the airdocks today."he said as they all kept walking for a bit before some of them rethught what he just said right now.
"Wait! You don't think could be here….oh maybe even bashira could even be coming here soon!"bombay said as her tail swayed around like crazy for her leader as thisitie chuckled
"Awww does the team mascot miss our team captain that much"thisite teased as the cat turned to face her for a moment growling before activating her semblance. As an organic like material covered her colored dark black as for some reason she sporuted a long tail from her waist with a bladed tip. Along with her face morphing into a cat like head along with a set of whiskers and ears. As she flexed her hands and feets as very sharp claws appeared
"Shut up! i am not the team mascot why do you guys always call me that!"bombay shouted as her tail thrashed around but they all stared at her for a moment surprised what she just did.
"Uhhh what the heck…whos semblance is that because your a giant cat right now"ame pointed out as bombay glanced at a nearby mirror startled by her look right now yelping at the site of it.
"What the heck! Why did i turn into a giant cat! Whos stupid semblance is this okay let me see no not his…not hers…not that one..no…nope…ughh which one was it"she said trying to remember which one it was though bediou and baker shared a look surprised at what their seeing.
Though close someone else was a little surprised watching them from a distance humming to thmsleves. As they had one a mask on over their face as he wore a pair of blue jeans with a red t-shirt along with a maroon biker jacket that had a vulture on embedded on the back in black holding a pair of swords in its claws. As he sported some grey tennis shoes.
"I don;t ever recall someone in the familiar being a cat faunus. Well your an interesting little person aren't you"he said spying on the group from a distance as bombay kept freaking out like crazy right now as trya got curious placing her hand on her chest for a moment as the two stared blankly at each other.
"Man this feel like real fur i don't even feel anything their…since you don't got anything their"tyra smugly said as bombay growled as she grabbed her by the collar snarling at her making a cougar like noise.
"I'm going to string you up by your neck if you make fun of my chest again ty. Because right now my sense are like doubled right now…seriously…i can smell everything"She siad as this form seemed to have doubled all her sense by ten right now as she could also hear everything going on through the crowd. It was starting to give her a headache as thisite hummed
"Lets try this"she said before lightly scratching behind the cat ears as her eyes went wide . then she began to relax a little as she let out a long pur like a cat right now as her tail swayed around like crazy. But then as she did it almost slashed at someone close by
"Hey watch out you nimnoric imeblise!"a women voice called out as thsiite stopped petting bombay as they turned to the women
That being a women in her mid thirites with fair skin along with being about 5.6 in height. As she had cream colored hair that was short and wavy. While for her attire she wore a simple olive colroed skirt that reached her knees as she sported some sandals. While for a shirt she wore a peach colored shirt that presnet her bust. But then glanced at the group for a bit
"Oh its uh you….my daughter teammates"the women said as bombay grabbed her tail but froze up feeling it up a little
"Uhhh his how are you doing right now?"bombay asked as she sighed
"You can can be lisha dear remember you don't need to be so formal. Though any news on if my daughter has come back to the academy yet? Your other teammate said shes would for her in vacuo but her brother told me she ran off with qrow and some others on some camping trip"lisha asked
Thsiite sighed looking down"no we haven't that what were hoping for right now since were here. Though uh sorry about her almost stabbing you. Apperenlty someone semblance can do this"she said as bombay tried to get it off as she was rolled on the ground repeatedly with a very annoyed expressions as her whiskers twitched
"Why won't this stupid stuff come off! Whos dumb semblnace is this that they can turn into a dumb cat!"bombay said as perun eyed her for a bit before one came to mind
"You know….that kinda looks like my girlfriend leader semblance. But uh…all i know is that brute looking thing and the one with the giant knife arm."perun pointed it out as bediou and baker eyed each other wondering something since they've seen that semblance first hand.
Zephyra smacked her hand into her palm"that makes complete sense but uhhh why are you a cat? Could he do that?"she asked as they shook their head
"Nope because me and tanner talked to rogue one time asking about her team. She said he only got two…guess that guy got multiple semblance. But how do we take it off"ame said as soon enough bombay groaned feeling very tired as it molted off but then she fell forward blacking out but luckily tyra caught her as the girl comply blacked out.
"Uhhh this is good right? Because she just blacked out like nothing how the heck did that happen?she asked as thisite took a qucik look at her scroll going wide eyed
"Her aura dropped down to thirty….but she only used that for like five minutes. Thats just weird you think she'll be alright?"she asked as someone else answered
"I think so kid. Must be some part of that semblance that exhaust her though take her back to the dorms or whatever. Because we gotta drop baker over here off then do whatever"bediou siad as tyra picked the cat up beginning to walk back to the dorms. As lisha joined them as they apporahced some airship and passenger ship landing right now.

Along with that he was wearing some simple tan jeans with a holster on his hip. Their was also how he wore black boots with a dark green sweater with a black suit vest over it. With a bag strapped to his back along with a sniper rifle slung on his shoudler at that moment. It seemed to resemble a heavy caliber sniper judging by the size and shape of it.
Though bediou smiled walking forward"paddy oh man am i glad to see you how you been?"she asked hugging the man
"Aye las i've been quite alright here to switch place with suits. Where is the pencil pusher who loves to follow the rules"paddy asked in an irish accent from the sound of it
Baker huffed"bite me paddy seriously sorry i like to follow protocol. But you better take this gig seriously news said they found the hayley and shcnee heiress back in argus right now. Anything happening back home?"he asked as the man eyed the group who were busy talking amongst themselves as he nodded
"Word is that merlot has been found. Which means we got a step up against these genetic freaks and well…captains been acting weird since he got back"paddy said peeking the two interest a little
"What do you mean by weird? Granted cho always gushes over his daugther like crazy and his husband. But what is it this time?"bediou asked as he shrugged his shoulder
"Don't know pretty spoked about something when he came back from vale. Though i'll take things from here lad have a safe trip back"paddy said as baker nodded bidding the two goodbye stepping onto the atlas ship as the engines were still on. As immediately the ship roared off but as it did they walked back to the others as they were talking.
"So no sign of bash yet man this is annoying"perun said
"Hmph i agree though i take it this is the new bodyguard i take it"zephyra said as paddy bowed to them
"Names paddy shay don't worry about me i aint like baker. The man means well but im more relaxed. Still pleasure to meet you miss"paddy introduced with a simple handshake as they stood their for a bit until suddenly someone bumped into zephyra
"Oh i'm sorry i….oh your that hine girl"julia said as she had some groceries in hand as they stared at her.
"Who the heck is this chick? You know her zep?"perun asked as the heiress thought how to answer
"Oh well i ran into her ytesertday quite literally actually though um here let me help you with those"she said beginning to help pick up the groceries as she did zephyra noticed a grocery list in her hand that had alot of items and errands on them it seems which made her a little cruious
"Doing some grocery shopping i take it…thats alot of errands?"zephyra asked as julia looked away for a moment
"Oh um this…their uh for my mom…told me to go out and do some errands. Won't be back till late at night since i gotta make sures she happy. Annoying that she controls my life though"julia said muttering that part which zephyra heard as the others attention was drawn to an airship that was docking form one of the patrols. As the two talked for a bit as zephyra glanced around still helping her.
"Let me guess your mom is annoying as well…your not the only one"zephyra said as julia slightly laughed
"Well she means well but um…been very hard with her since dad and her divorced. Doesn't help that he died in a car crash recently even which really hurts. My mom has custody of me and her new boyfriend and her are very demanding"julia forcing a laugh as zephyra saw on her neck a bruise which concerned her
"Are…are you okay look i know we just met but….are you doing okay mentally?"zephyra asked as the girl started to put on the crocodile tears hugging herself tight right now shivering as she shook.
"I um…i'm fine…mom just gets mad when she drinks at times. Its nothing…got no one to talk to since my old boyfriend all the way back in vale. But..he uh…he…d..died…during the fall"she said with tears beginning to flow as zephyra looked down upset before an idea came to mind
"Look i…i can speak from epxiernce but i know a great place that might help you. Head to a place where a nice women named diamona runs a therapist office. Here take her card i'm sorry for your lose"she said as julia took the card whipping the tears away nodding to her
"I..um thank you for that…i need to get going…maybe you could show me their. I don't do the best with new places"she siad walking off as zephyra joined the others as julia walked away far enough before a big smirk came to her face that she fell for that pity act. But watching the girl walk away was the mysterious man who narrowed his gaze in disappointment at the girl.
Although unbaording the airship right now was shockingly a few people in tribal gear along with that a familiar huntsman without a arm still that being pyke rite who took a breath of fresh air.
"Man this feels great! Man i wonder if fen…asher or maybe even arra in town. I gotta tell about what happened in the anima"he said walking down the ramp for a moment as their gorup approached them as paddy raised his hand
"Half what is the branwhen tribe doing all the way here? You lot usually stay in the anima close to kurouri or something"paddy asked as one of the tribal member stepped fowad
"I'm sorry sir were here escorting and some others from our tribe. We helped them after their airships came under attack by lancer and the um…lancer knight"the tribe member paused it seems as bediou sighed
"Oh so you lot helped took that thing down? Let me guess you all survived one hell of a ship attack i take it?"she asked but a couple of the tribememebrs glared at her for a moment which perun noticed which confused him. Why were they mad at her?"
Pyke rubbed his numb"not really if you count my nephew and some people he saved from some kidnappers or whatever. Their tribe is holding the hayley and schnee heiress i think after they saved them."he said peeking their group interest right now
"Wait who saved weiss and eira? Because is their anyway my girlfriend is on that ship?"perun aksed antsy right now as the huntsman eyed him for a moment chuckling.
"Ohhh so you mean that other cold girl. Yeah she alright pretty sure she with their tribe still but still surprised to see that girl in the woods. Though the tribe is working on escorting them back to their homes or whatever after i left. Saved my behind after some guy put that uh….freak of nature down"he said pausing as ame even noticed that now as her and perun shared a look.
Bediou sighed"well that great look follow us and we'll get you processed. Paddy keep an eye on the hine girl for me. I got this"she said nodding as she began to lead a few of the tribe memebra and survivors away but as they did perun and ame grabbed one tribe member and pyke escorting them to somewhere secluded.
"Okay kid what with you manhandling me because if you don't let go i'll clock you"pyke warned with his numb as ame huffed
"Well we just wanna know who killed that freak of a grimm. I mean seriously those things aren't normal i bet it was pretty hard to kill something that was a monster"ame smugly said as the tribemeber growled pushing her back
"Don't you dare talk about mais mom like that! Melissa wasn't herself! She got put out of her misery you god dam brat so keep your traps shut!"they shouted as no one heard them as she tricked him.
"So…you do know that grimm knight or by her name melissa. Who is she? Because right now were not buying the story you gave those soldiers"perun asked as the two shared a look as pyke sighed
"Kid i don't know what i saw out their in those woods. All i know are these tribal guys know that women or something. How she went missing on a mission eight years ago and all they found was her weapon. Then she turns up alive but now is dead because of something in her hed"pyke gave a rundown as the two shared some looks. Because it seems their getting in deeper on this mystery resolved around missing people.
Seems that perun and company got some intel on these grimm knights. While jenny is planning to kidnap zephyra with her so called daughter help as someone watches the girl from afar.
