After a week and a few days of brainstorming, jotting down ideas, revising, and organizing my thoughts, I have finally been able to write this fanfic. It has been a long process, but I knew I had to let it all out of my system. So I hope you enjoy it.
I found my inspiration to write this fanfic after immersing myself with Slam Dunk headcannon's on Tumblr posts, as well as delving into both the manga and anime.
This fanfic is based from Slam Dunk which took place in the 1990s or early 2000s during the manga and anime's release. As a result, certain character behaviors are reminiscent of that era, which may surprise readers accustomed to modern interpretations. I have taken a classic approach to the characters' reactions. I tried my best to make the original vibe and essence of Slam Dunk stay true in this story.
