It was a bright and sunny day in The Mushroom Kingdom, and the princesses were out in the royal garden, enjoying the perfect weather amongst the beautiful flowers.
"So, Daisy, tell me how things are going with you and Luigi." Peach said as she opened her parasol, sharing its protection with her two beloved sisters. The brunette giggled, "We went out on a picnic last weekend." She answered, blushing slightly before pointing at the crown of daisies that adorned her head, "That's where he gave me this..."
"Aww!! That's so sweet!" Peach sighed, placing her hands over her heart, to which Daisy laughed, "Hey, you're the one always getting peach-based desserts from your man! I wish Luigi would bake for me sometime! I mean, he tried once..."
Peach and Daisy barely managed to make eye contact before they burst out laughing at the memory of seeing Luigi and the kitchen covered in flour, eggs, and rainbow sprinkles. They were about to continue talking when they realized that Rosalina seemed to be being more quiet than usual.
"Rosie, darling, is something wrong?" Peach asked. She sighed and looked up at the two other princesses, feeling guilty as to having already ruined their good mood, "I just..." she started, not completely sure if she should tell her sisters how she was feeling, but deciding to anyway, figuring they of all people had a right to know. "I'm... kinda jealous of you two.."
