Street Brawlers.
The is no stranger to conflict. For countless years, for as long as life has existed, the world has always known conflict. Some only fight for survival, some for honor, some for evil... and some simply because it's fun. This is the case of a young woman named Violet, or Vi for short. Vi's past was far from easy, loosing her parents during an brutal conflict between the street gangs and the police, Vi and her younger sister Powder would know little parental love during their young years, but luckily Vi would be taught right and wrong by the rough but good hearted man named Vander. Under Vander's watch, Vi developed fine honed survival instincts, and would also gain a wickedly abrasive sense of humor to help her deal with the hardships. However what little life she had was torn apart by the evil of the world. But that is another story, point is, Vi would leave her street life behind when she became an Enforcer and worked alongside her very close "Friend" Caitlyn. Vi is street-smart, brash, and always bluntly honest, Vi is always ready for a fight, any time anywhere, making her perfect for her current job.
Caitlyn and Vi had been brought in for an international operation, to investigate the Mishima Zaibatsu, a giant multinational conglomerate originally formed by a man named Jinpachi Mishima, before being over taken by his son, Heihachi, but to say that family had a complicated history would be a Massive understatement. While the Zaibatus true history is unknown to most outsiders, what is known is that the Zaibatsu is so massive they even possess their own private army, and has a hand in multiple military contracts, and there is no telling what could be going on behind the scenes. Investigating the Mishima Zaibatsu is next to impossible, but there is a small window of opportunity. The Mishima Zaibatu are not just military contractor, they also host a world-wide martial arts competition called The King of Iron Fist Tournament. It draws renowned fighters from all around the globe, and the winner will receive a massive reward. Being the best hand to hand fighter among the Enforcers, Vi was hand picked for this job. Her orders were to simply distract the Zaibatsu in the tournament, and Caitlyn along with their colleagues would work behind the scenes to see if they could dig up anything that could incriminate the Zaibatsu.
Vi was all for the idea, she rarely gets any decent challenge from the punks she normally beats up, so entering a tournament full of the world's best fighters was to good to pass up. While Caitlyn made it very clear Vi was there for work, not to fool around, Vi knew she could do her job and have fun along the way. The Tournament would take place on a large island with an arena made inside some old ruins, and some living quarters for the fighters were provided as well. Vi decided to go old school for this, wearing clothes similar to her street days, including her rough red jacket. The matches wont start until the next day, so Vi was bored by waiting around in her room so she decided to walk around the island to see if there was something worth doing.
After a short but boring walk, Vi heard something nearby. Curious she followed the sound until she located the source. She saw a Japanese teenage girl. She has brown eyes and short brown hair with left-parted bangs. She wears a light blue, high-collared, sleeveless zip-up jumpsuit with black side paneling and a black swallow design on the back, which is unzipped down to her torso, showing a blue crop top underneath. The jumpsuit is adorned with a black, two-pronged belt with green stars. With this, she wears black, blue, and purple armored boots with three green stars around the cuff over dark blue and light blue ribbed, striped socks. She also wears elbow-length armored blue, light blue, and gray gauntlets with puffy, black banded, white cuffs above her white fingerless gloves. Over these gauntlets are blue knuckle guards and elbow guards, and she also wears leg guards over her boots.
Vi watched her for a bit, she seemed to be in the middle of training. This girl looked really young, maybe around the same age Vi was when she met Caitlyn for the first time, if not younger. Vi didn't know the required age to enter the tournament was, but clearly it wasn't very high. Still, for some reason this girl reminded Vi a lot of herself when she was younger, the girl had the same fire in her eye, a strong will to take on the world.
Once the girl finished training, Vi finally revealed herself "Nice moves kid".
The girl jumped an spun around "What the? How long have you been there?".
"Long enough. The name is Violet, but just call me Vi, everyone does" Vi said as she walked closer.
The eyed her up and down before speaking "Asuka Kazama. Did you need something?".
"Not really, just got bored of holding up in my room all day. This Tournament sure takes it's sweet time getting started" Vi said.
"Tell me about it. I came here to kick some butts, and I got so restless I tried to blow off some steam by getting some training in. But I could use some real action" Asuka said before she got an idea "Hey! Since you are bored too, why don't you spar with me?".
Vi raised an eyebrow "You sure don't beat around the bush, do ya kid? But are we even allowed to fight outside the tournament?".
"Well no one needs to know. Unless you are scared" Asuka said with a teasing smirk.
Vi smirked back, she liked this girl "Oh you've done it now kid. Just don't run of crying if you get hurt".
Asuka smiled and got in to her stance. Vi did the same, she wasn't wearing her trusty gauntlets at the moment, but she was far from helpless without them, since she was beating up guys twice her size long before she got her gauntlets. The two stood ready for several seconds, before both charged in and threw a punch. Their fists collided, making them slide back. They closed in again and began trading blows, with each one being either blocked or dodged. Vi went in for a knee strike but Asuka blocked the attack and pushed Vi back.
Vi was surprised by Asuka's strength, until she received a punch to her exposed gut. Asuka who followed up the initial hit with a swift series of blows which Vi barely managed to defend herself against. The onslaught ended with a powerful kick that sent Vi sliding back. Vi recovered quickly as Asuka was throwing another punch, but Vi managed to catch her fist, surprising the younger girl and allowing Vi to deliver a uppercut, which made Asuka stagger back before Vi followed up with a strong blow to her face. Asuka found herself skidding along the ground before coming to stop. This Vi knew how to take a punch, that much was certain, but Asuka's smile didn't leave her face, she was hoping for a challenge and it looked like she was getting it. Vi was also impressed by Asuka's strength, now she knew why the younger girl was confident enough to enter this tournament.
Vi rushed in for another strong punch, Asuka blocked the strike, though the impact was enough to push her back slightly. Asuka threw a punch of her own in anticipation of another attack, but Vi grabbed her arm before delivering a mighty headbutt which made Asuka stagger and opened her up for a left punch to the gut before Vi followed up with a punch from her right fist to Asuka's face. Asuka was stunned as Vi delivered a flying knee to her chest, knocking the wind out of her before Vi grabbed her around the neck and swung her through the air before tossing her across the ground.
Asuka groans as she stands up, she knew she was taking to many hits and needed to fight smarter. As Vi closed in for another punch, Asuka dodged while grabbing Vi's arm and used Vi's own momentum against her to send her flipping through the air and landed on her back. Vi groans as she got back up, looking surprised by what just happened. Asuka however looked more focused now, and stood ready. Vi shakes of the earlier attack and threw another punch, but Asuka grabbed her arm before pulling her in to an elbow strike to her face. Vi staggered back and her attempt at a another punch was countered by a kick to the gut, followed up with a punch to her face.
Vi steps back a bit "Ok, what the hell is happening?!".
Asuka smirked in confidence "I admit, you back a lot of power behind your punches. But you lack technique, and no offence, your defense is rather weak. Brute force alone wont be enough against me".
Vi cursed under her breath, Vander would be scolding her for not keeping her guard up, and remind her she can't just punch her way through every problem. She took a deep breath calm herself before entering a proper boxing stance. Asuka narrowed her eyes, realizing Vi had learned from her mistakes, and she can't expect her to leave her guard open like that again. They engaged again and Asuka went to elbow Vi in the gut, but her attempt was foiled by Vi giving her another headbutt, which forced Asuka back several steps.
Vi delivered a blistering combination of kicks and punches before Asuka had any chance to counter, as Vi had indeed learned her lesson and was not over committing to her offence, and Asuka couldn't see any openings to exploit. In hindsight, maybe she should've held off on telling Vi about her weakness until after the fight was over. Asuka tried to back away, she couldn't dodge Vi's Relentless attacks but forcing her to exert more energy than necessary could give Asuka the edge she needed, if she could just weather the storm.
But Asuka strategy wasn't as solid as she hoped. Vi's fists felt like Asuka's arms were being barraged by solid rocks, and she knew Vi would break her guard before Asuka could tire her out. With no other choice, Asuka had to take a gamble and allowed herself to be punched in the face so she could deliver an uppercut to Vi's jaw, and both of them stumbled back from the impacts.
"Damn... this is getting intense for a spar huh?" Vi asked.
"Yeah... it's turned in to a real fight... Had we been fighting in the tournament right now one of us would've been eliminated" Asuka responded, before getting ready again "But even if this isn't a match, I still refuse to loose to you".
Vi smirked "Alright kid, let's end this".
They engaged one last time, once again trading several blows and blocks. They were evenly matched for several seconds before Asuka punched Vi in the face who quickly retaliated with an upper cut which nearly sent Asuka flying. Vi reached forward to grab her in order to pull her close and deliver another blow... However... Vi's hand ended up grabbing onto something else... It took several seconds for both girls to realized... Vi had grabbed one of Asuka's breasts.
Vi quickly let go and held her hands up "I-I'm sorry! I swear I wasn't trying to grab you there!".
Asuka said nothing, like she was to shocked to respond.
Vi gulped and tried to make a joke "But you know, you are big for your age".
That turned out to be the wrong thing to say, as Asuka's shock turned in to burning rage.
"You... PERVERT!" Asuka punched Vi so hard her feet tore up the ground before she smashed in to a rock "I give up!".
Asuka stormed off, leaving Vi slumped down on the ground.
"Yeah... I deserved to loose..." Vi said before a pebble hit her in the head.
After recovering from the vicious punch, Vi was heading back to her room. She needed rest before the tournament begins. She would need to apologize to Asuka again once she's calmed down. Still, she was strong, and if the rest of the fighters here are on that level or higher, Vi was certainly not lacking worthy opponents. However, before she could reach her room, she was grabbed from behind and had a knife pressed against her neck.
"Don't move a muscle" A female voice said, sounding mature and cold.
"This how the Mishima Zaibatsu normally greets their participants?" Vi asked.
"I'm not here to talk about them, I'm more curious of what an Enforcer would be doing at this tournament" The woman said.
Vi got wide eyes, she knew she and her colleagues had made sure no one could know she was an enforcer, yet this woman had already figured it out
"How did you know?" Vi asked.
"I have my ways, and you haven't told me why you're here" The Woman said.
"Can't tell you, it's classified" Vi said, half joking since having a knife on her neck was not fun.
"No matter, as long as you don't get in my way I don't care what you do. But if you or any of those friends of yours get my way, well, I'm sure you can figure it out" The woman said before letting Vi go.
Vi rubbed her neck as she turned around and saw a Blond woman vanish in the darkness outside. Well... Now there was no question about it... There was something very wrong with this tournament.

Well, this is a story I made for fun. I always liked the idea of Vi and Asuka meeting each other, but I wasn't sure if I should have it take place in the Tekken or League Of Legends world. So I said, screw it, and just merged both worlds together.
This is a one shot for now, but if you all like it, I might turn it in to a full story.
