A scene opens as Atomsk and TME spoke.
"OK… so… this story for my side for your B-Day gift to me after the Star to Ooo story officially got started is mainly what if Finn was raised by Wood Nymphs… thats more or less the idea right?" TME asked while he rubs his chin.
"Yeah… I didn't think much else after that but hey… hasn't stopped us before as we always winged it." Atomsk said.
"True… but three questions… do we skip to when Finn is 18 or much older?… do we have have Huntress and Finn be a tag team or one of our OC's like Emerald or Cedric and they run into Huntress since if we had Finn raised like a brother to Huntress… wouldn't be able to have a Finn X Huntress thing since well… would be odd… and finally… got a plot thing in mind past Bubblegum and Marceline running into Finn?... mainly like… for the plot stuff you sent me… while we can have Bubblegum and Marceline stick together, with the daughter thing would be hard to be exact in the plot timeline but we can just say FInn was born a bit earlier in canon than intended but mainly… if this would be mainly a Finn X Huntress X JP thing… I get that trio… but if Phoebe would get involved… got any ideas on how she would be involved since she would be in a lamp?" TME asked while he looks curious.
Atomsk blinks a bit.
"Okay… for the first question… can do a time skip after Finn is found and maybe we flashback moments when he is younger and was in training. For the second… yes on a tag team. Granted not sure on why you mean brother unless Finn got different wood nymph moms… though I can agree on the born earlier thing of it helps out with your ideas."
"Well I didn't mean to cause confusion, was just trying to clarify things since we would erase the plot below after we get by them… just wanted to clarify that Finn would NOT be a relative to Huntress… I'm not saying this to you Atomsk… to the readers to let them know what this story will be about and its not a step sibling thing." TME said since in the plot for the intro, didn't have any mention of Huntress not being a relative at least and wanted to make it clear to the readers that Finn was not related to her at all.
"Oh no. Finn would not be related to Huntress in anyway. And our OC's will be in it." Atomsk said.
"Yup… just in case, may as well say that Finn will be having a lot of fun with various ladies both Canon and OC as well before any ask… also same with the OC males tagging with Finn in his adventures… may as well have Finn tag with both Emerald and Cedric so they can do things Finn can't and stuff… I have a fun idea for how that happens hehe…" TME said before he chuckles in a mischievous way.
"Well then my dude lead the way. Also as for a Phoebe part. If we get her… maybe she wants a strong lover?" Atomsk said.
"Maybe?... we can come to deal with her when we get to her… may as well start with the story on… you said Baby Finn right?... got an idea or do we go the boom boom method with Baby Finn in a different place?" TME said while he looks at Atomsk curiously.
"Boom boom method… unless Finn was found by the beach since he was on a raft after Martin disappeared." Atomsk said.
"Works for me… got an idea on the two mothers for Finn then since we are most likely using Wood Nymph OC's?" TME asked while he went over this final part.
"Well I also said it can be a wood nymph and Trent but… if we use two moms…" Atomsk said before looking thoughtful…
"Hmmm… what if we…" Whispers to TME.
"Hmmm… interesting… hehe… and hey while I did say two moms… could have them have a Trent mate so they can have some interesting fun… Trents have lots of vines and stuff to control hehe." TME said while smirking at Atomsk.
"Hehe, works for me." Atomsk said.
"Nice… lets get into the story with two sexy Wood Nymph women walking on a beach than." TME said while he grins at Atomsk eagerly.
"Nice. Let's get to it. Following your lead." Atomsk said.
TME nods before the scene shifts from TME and Atomsk…
Ooo/ Beach/ ?
The scene showed a large beautiful looking beach… on it walked two women… they were wearing simple robes and walked barefoot on the beach… one of them had brown to orange leaves on their head instead of hair while the other had long vines in braids… both women had greenish skin though the one with the autumn leaves in her head looked to be a shade darker in tone to the lighter tone the vine line woman had… these were Wood Nymphs… a all female race of beings on Ooo… more would be explained on them after they were introduced fully.
The one with the brown leaves was named Kusa… she was a strong fighter type Wood Nymph with combative magic and it showed with her having a toned body with strong muscles… she wasn't a bodybuilder but she could definitely be called a bit much in some muscle… think amazonian to be exact… she mainly worked with swords, enchanted blade type magic, and worked to keep nature as intended in her territory…
Next to her was her Bondmate, more on this term later, Rain… a beautiful Wood Nymph woman who was more… passive than Kusa with her having a more supermodel like figure with her having more focus on magic that healed, shapeshifting into animals, and more or less being a support type Wood Nymph who helped travelers occasionally… the two were more or less on a date… on closer inspections, Kusa had scars on her body and Rain had no blemishes at all and on their heads were masks Wood Nymphs wore that only family and Bondmates could see thanks to Wood Nymph tradition.
"Man… looks like you were right in coming here Rain… nice weather today." Kusa said as she walked next to Rain with her hands behind her head.
Rain chuckles.
"Told you so. Just feel the cool breeze and… Hey, what's that?" She said when she saw something on the shores.
Kusa blinks as Rain rushed forward… as they did, they saw near the shore some kind of… makeshift raft?... Kusa narrows her eyes and they widened before she rushed by Rain with shocking speed and while Rain was momentarily startled by the rush, she heard crying from the wreckage and got why Kusa looked worried when Kusa used her magic to make a magical blade for her to stand on as she flew over the water.
Rain came over to try and help her bond mate.
Though unlike Kusa, Rain had to wait for a moment when she saw the wreckage too far out… as Kusa got to it… she looks shocked when she picks up something and brought to Rain much to her shock, some kind of baby… the baby had blonde hair, had some kind of stuffed animal and… some kind of wand like item?... looked burned out and busted though so may as well be junk that Kusa destroyed so it wouldn't pollute the waters with a quick spell but she brought the baby to Rain.
"Rain, use a spell to check on the kid, not sure how long he was there and could be malnourished… though… bit pudgy… what is he?... doesn't look like a humanoid from around here…" Kusa said when she poked the baby on his stomach making a comical squish sound when she make the baby's stomach wiggle.
Rain was curious before her eyes widened.
"Kusa… I think what we found… is a human."
Kusa though gave Rain a half liddd look.
"A human?... Kusa given all the humanoids we have seen… you say human?... if so where are his parents?... given that humans *Should* be extinct, would bad idea just leaving him alone… for all we know the kid could have been place on the wreckage if his parents were being chased and stuff… nuttier stuff happened on Ooo but a human?... you'll have to think of a more believable species for me to believe." Kusa said when she didn't buy the human idea given that until now, humans were long thought to be an extinct species.
"Kusa, no humanoid has skin like this and I have proof but first… we need to help the little guy." Rain said.
"Alright… lets get the… human… somewhere safe… may as well let Root know we got this guy so he doesn't think we have a meal for him… trents have weird ways of thinking anything could he food if were not careful." Kusa said while she held Finn carefully before she sniffed the air.
"Uh… is that the sea or… does something reak?" Kusa said when she smelled something really rank as the baby cried more.
Rain also sniffed before finding the source.
"We're gonna need diapers."
"Ah…" Kusa said while the baby cried more before the scene shifts to some time later with Kusa and Rain with a large tree like being as the tree being used various vines to make a faux hammock and rocked the baby gently allowing the baby to sleep.
"Thanks for the help after explaining things Root… honestly surprised you had a way with kids." Kusa said when she looks at the large wood type monster named Root… this large being was a walking fortress of a tree monster with many tentacles or vines that it could control were coming from his body and he stood like a tower compared to Kusa and Rain… nuff said he was Kusa and Rain's main lover when it came to serious tentacle play.
"Hehe, if I knew one thing besides pleasing two beauties is how to handle kids. I like them when they are young and playful." Root said (A/N from Atomsk: if you're all thinking that TME and I would say I am Root because it sounds like Groot… think again.)
"Is this before or AFTER I had to cut some of your vines when you thought the kid was a snack and tried to eat him?" Kusa said with a half lidded look making Root jolt.
Root chuckles nervously.
"No comment."
Kusa rolls her eyes before she looks at Rain.
"So… mind explaining why you think pudgy here is a human Rain?... skin tone aside, could be a hybrid of some kind with just this partictuar skin tone… I mean there is the Candy princess who is pink… this guy with blue skin called the Ice King… the orange to red skin of the flame people… gotta admit that for that skin color theory, its a bit weak given how wide of a spectrum the skin tones of Ooo are… I mean we're green being wood nymphs." Kusa said while she shrugs her arms.
"Maybe but I was able to bring this book from home." Rain said as she shows Kusa an old book that apparently shows an anatomy of a human.
Kusa looks at the book curiously… looked old… this did seem to match what Finn was to some level in key traits but all in all Kusa shrugs.
"OK… say he is human like this book says… we just going to say we have a rare human baby with us?... you know how stupid some beings are… they would try and kidnap this infant… honestly, I say we bring the kid to a Royal and let them deal with it… we maybe good enough to save a kid but we are not equipped to raise one before you ask about that Rain… I know that look in your eye… it would be one thing since you do help raise Wood Nymph kids and even teach them sex ed when they grow enough, its another to even raise a kid of a species that more or less may as well HAVE been extinct for years… granted could be more humans out there but given that we haven't seen a human since this kid… doubt anyone would be coming for him given that wreck… but my point is… think we would be equipped at all to handle a kid not of the Wood Nymph variety?" Kusa said showing that she and Rain had experience with kid raising but never human raising for obvious reasons.
"I won't lie… it will be a challenge… but I can risk it. Besides, can we trust a royal? I mean you heard rumors of each one. Only one royal we trust are the jungle people." Rain said.
"Actually… before you decide… why not talk with Grandfather Oak… if anyone may know about humans… wouldn't it be him since he lived since the Mushroom war?" Root said making Kusa and Rain blink a few times from this.
"Really?… Well it's worth a shot." Rain said.
"Yeah… may as well bring Pudgy along… unless we can think of a name or something for him, would be hard for me to call him anything but Pudgy… guys got a lot of chub on his body." Kusa said when she looks at the slumbering infant who was covered in a blanket and slumbers peacefully in Root's vines.
"Actually when I helped change the diaper… not sure what the kid was eating but on the back of the hem, I saw something that says… "Finn"… could be his name." Rain said.
"Finn huh?... looks more like a… Frank to me… but eh… the name can stick." Root said while unintentionally making many Finn's of various dimensions sneeze when Root mentioned a future moment with a certain demonic cat for some… anyway Kusa moved to pick up Finn carefully and she carried him with Rain walking with him… this left Root alone to wait for the duo with Finn to return.
As this happened, Rain smiles when Kusa, though against raising Finn, seemed rather motherly for the little infant already.
After a bit, the trio arrived and were infront of the grandfather.
To explain, Grandfather Oak was more or less the technical first Wood based being on Ooo ever since the Pre-mushroom war ended… you could consider him similar to the Mother Gum that birthed Bubblegum… all of the wood and earth based beings more or less came from him and while he didn't create new creatures nowadays… many Wood and earth based beings, monsters or humanoid respected and came to Grandfather oak for advice and though he was a goliath of a tree with a face like that one giant tree from the Legend of Zelda… he had a gentle voice when he saw Kusa and Rain approach while many Wood Nymph guards around Grandfather Oak got on guard.
"Halt!... Kusa… Rain… what is that being you have!?" One guard said as Grandfather oak spoke in a deep yet gentle tone.
"Easy there Sakura… the infant is not a threat… allow them to pass." Grandfather Oak said in a calm manner to his guard captain.
Sakura was quiet before she let the duo pass.
Sighing in relief, Kusa and Rain stepped forward.
"Thank you, Grandfather Oak. Earlier, Kusa and I were at the beach and we found… look." Rain said as Kusa revealed Finn.
"Hmmmm… well this is a surprise… I didn't expect a human to come back to these lands…" Grandfather Oak said shocking many Wood Nymphs.
"Ha! I told you." Rain said making Kusa sweatdrop as Finn giggles at the antic.
"Well where did he come from?" Kusa said as Grandfather Oak spoke.
"Though my roots have taken hold around this world, they do not cover all… I can tell you he came far from Ooo… I don't know the reason why he is here nor I can tell you exactly where he came from… but I can tell you that sending him back would be impossible… the humans I knew long ago before they left Ooo traveled far and this infant came from the direction they went… most likely there is a civilization of humans that we don't know about… but that should be a matter to deal with later… for now we have the young one to worry about… while I can offer advice, especially to you Kusa since I heard your talk… but Rain is right… few of the Royals are not to be trusted… even the Jungle Kingdom as well… before you say something shocking Rain… have I ever been wrong in my wisdom?... the Candy Kingdom princess would most likely want to dissect the child or use him for experiments… the Fire Kingdom would just be a death sentence… the Water Kingdom would drown him on accident… the list goes on… but the Jungle Kingdom would try and use him for breeding stock once he is older and that would not be good for a human child… we may tell that a human is here… to some, but I want messengers to remind Royals that while I may not be personally able to act… this is my home… and the home of Wood Nymphs… unless they gain permission… they are not allowed to set foot here for a number of reasons… it's why our lively hood has been intact for so long…" Grandfather Oak said as he looks at Kusa and Rain.
"The Child can be raised here but I won't force you two to raise him like he is your own… but know that he will not live as long as a Wood Nymph unless bonded… humans at best can live about 100 years or so… magic may alter that but given the insanity effects, that is a route that one should no take… even I tolerate your blade magic Kusa and Rain's healing magic but thats because they are what many call safe magic… point is… unless you two are willing to raise a human child… I'll have Sakura or someone of my guard raise the child… a human in the past helped me once, so I would be repaying the favor by having one of their kind be raised here without issue for their health." Grandfather Oak said while he looks seriously at Kusa and Rain.
Rain and Kusa knew he was serious.
"Well… I don't mind raising him." Rain said.
"Hmmm… I don't know… how messy would a human baby be?" Kusa said as Grandfather Oak chuckles.
"Hohoho… Well aside normal baby antics, not much… don't worry Kusa… many here know you are a worry wart for children so you will raise him right… who knows… could teach him the ways of the sword and blade sorcery so he can defend himself… should make him quite the catch for some of the Wood Nymphs here… hehe… Sakura may take to him since she barely hit 60 so waiting 18 years to be nearly 80 should be just right for her… Wood nymphs age slowly after all… so no rush." Grandfather Oak said as Sakura blushed brightly.
"H-Hey?!" Sakura said.
A Few wood Nymphs giggle as one looks amused.
"Hehehe, should be good for her… I mean its a good age… honestly though some Wood Nymphs rush too fast into relationships… I mean I heard some try and get married in their 30's or even their 20's… thats barely out of their maturing phase." One Wood Nymph female said while she held her cheek.
"Indeed." Another female said.
"Yeah… I mean… I caught a Wood Nymph having sex at 18… honestly thats cutting it close to being under the mature phase." Another said as Grandfather Oak speaks.
"Ladies… two things… one… while gossip is fine… please keep it tasteful… and two… given the humans average lifespan… he may become amerous for women around 18 years of age… they don't age as slow as us so if he flirts with any of you or your daughters younger than 18, try and not panic… I mean… some of you teach your daughters about sex well before they are 18 and while tradition, many would say its hypocritical if you get onto the boy if he is older so… yes… try and not give him issues as long as he doesn't mean harm… for all we know he could be pressured into things since its not a one way street." Grandfather Oak said while he looks with his large eyes to his descendants with a half lidded look.
Said descendants did jolt a bit.
"O-Of course grandfather." One nymph said.
"Good… anyway if Kusa and Rain need help, please lend them your aid my dears, raising a child is no small feat and though Kusa and Rain have experience they do not have experience with raising humans… I would help but… being a tree giving advice and telling jokes is the best I can do… honestly I'm old bark when it comes to the young trees if you get the idea." Grandfather Oak said before he chuckles at the joke he made.
The females sweatdrop but chuckled anyway.
Kusa on her end looks amused as she held Finn in her hands and held up the giggling infant who looks down at her.
"Well Finn… may as well say welcome to this large family…" Kusa said as she smiles at Finn warmly.
Finn giggles before smiling at his now new mom.
Years later… when Finn was 8…
"AAHHHHHHH!" Finn screams as he ran next to two other kids his age Finn looked to be wearing a simple pair of shorts, a vest, and had a mask on his face which had a bear theme going on with it.
Running next to him was a Brown furred Cat boy who looked way too adorable and was mistaken for a female way too many times with green eyes and he wore a loincloth only while to Finn's other side was a Blue furred Wolf kid who wore simple shorts and had electric blue eyes… and well… they were running from a boulder of all things shockingly enough.
"Why did you grab the treasure from that ruin before I could put the replacement on it Finn!?... I get we found the treasure easily but now we got this boulder after us because of you!" The Cat boy yelled while he comically had to run harder than Finn and the wolf boy because of his shorter legs.
"It was on impulse!" Finn said.
"If we don't make it out… I'm gonna kill you!" Said the wolf boy.
"Not if I do it first!... Cedric use your lightning to speed again and grab a vine!... trust me!" The Cat man said to the Wolf boy, now identified as Cedric as they saw many vines that they were approaching.
"Okay!" Cedric said before using his speed to grab the vine.
A moment when Cedric did that, the Cat boy has some shining magical symbols form on his arms, legs, and head and he used some kind of magic to fire a green energy at a tree and after Cedric ripped if off, he moved to have one end of it on the tree and another to go around another as Finn and Cedric ran under it… while the vine couldn't hold it, lasting only a few second, the Boulder was slowed as the Cat boy looks at Finn.
"Finn get ready to swing down the middle!" The Cat boy said when he clapped his hands together and formed a large green magical blade in his hand and threw it to Finn for him to use.
Finn sees this before grabbing the blade and then swings it.
As this happened, Cedric looks a bit panicked when he saw the Boulder roll at Finn and the Cat boy but he looks relieved when the boulder was sliced in half and Finn and the Cat boy dived between the two rolling boulders by the skin of their teeth and fell with the Cat boy resting on Finn as they pant.
"I-I… think I saw my life flash before my eyes." The Cat boy said while his fur looked frazzled.
"M-Me too… though I think further… was I a butterfly?" Finn said.
"P-Past life maybe… Finn… next time… listen when I say to keep calm in a dungeon… otherwise, C-Cedric would have to explain to your moms and my parents on why they would need to make a Deal with Death on getting us back…" The Cat boy said before he got up and sat on his backside while shuddering.
"Thanks to the deal my parents made with Lady Life and Lord Death… not even Death can save us from our parents wrath if they hear of this." The Cat boy said as he shudders in fright.
"R-Right." Finn said.
"Better if we keep quiet." Cedric said.
As the group recovered, Finn looks at the Cat boy.
"But still… nice with the idea and the magic Emerald… glad you get trained in the Dead worlds… honestly still not sure how you can come and go but man it helps." Finn said as Emerald sighs.
"Not easy I can tell you, apparently I was born dead so my family asked Lady Life and Lord Death to fix that and I got to be an apprentice of Globs for some reason… not all fun but worth it since I get to train in ways that some can only dream off… and does help since I have a forte with magic to back your insane physical strength Finn… maybe able to summon blades yourself but not as big as mine… if Cedric is raw physical might and speed… me with magic power and brains… you may as well be the middle man who can do a lot…" Emerald said while he laid on the ground and closed his eyes.
"What does it mean to be born dead again?" Cedric said while Finn looks confused as well… gotta remember… the trio were 8 or so in age and stuff as Emerald shrugs.
"Don't know?... maybe I was undead or maybe I died at birth and my parents made a deal to bring me to life?... either way I try not to bring things up about my birth…" Emerald said while he looks at Cedric.
Cedric sweatdrops.
"Right… least we're alive… and we got the loot."
Though the trio jolt when they heard a voice.
"Oh… I don't know about that boys…" The trio heard and with shaking heads… they look to see… Kusa… with a twitching eyebrow under her masked face.
"L-Lady… K-Kusa?... w-what are you…d-doing here?" Emerald said with some fear as Kusa grins darkly.
"Oh I happened to be with Grandfather Oak… you know… the ancient and all knowing respectful elder of the forest who just so happened to see you nearly getting run over by a boulder… must say bravo with the planning Emerald… but you really should have planned to not go in the place in the first place… I'm sure your mother will be glad to hear your ideas to save your collective skins worked… and same with Cedric's mother…" Kusa said making Emerald and Cedric scream like girls as they hugged each other in fear.
"Don't tell our moms!" They said.
"Bit late for that… you know who was with me when I went to Grandfather Oak for a meeting?" Kusa said with a half lidded look as Emerald and Cedric pales.
"Cedric…" Emerald said as Cedric spoke.
"Yeah?" Cedric said as Emerald followed this up.
"Its been good knowing you… when you're in the Dead world I'll put a good word in for you there… even if I die I think I'm grounded no matter where I go… so even in death I can't escape my punishment." Emerald said as Kusa sweatdrops.
"OK you are really exaggerating things Emerald… but still you three are in big trouble… and Finn… Rain is very disappointed in you… I may have been impressed with the teamwork but Rain should have raised you to use your head better young man." Kusa said while she moved to Finn but… she pets him on the head after he closed his eyes in worry.
"Still I'm glad you're relying on friends to help you make up for your weaknesses you need to work on… but remember you have only one life to live in this world Finn… even if you reincarnate it doesn't change the fact that this current life you life is as Finn is YOUR life… don't rush to a risky moment like that again unless its for a good reason OK?" Kusa said while she gave Finn a serious if calm look while she smiles at him kindly in a motherly way.
Finn sniffles.
"I'm sorry mom."
Kusa smiles more as she led the trio back… though…
"I cannot believe it young man that you would do something this stupid!" Rain said while Finn, Emerald, and Cedric had bumps on their heads while a beautiful looking Cat woman with white fur and a beautiful looking blue furred wolf woman had angered looks when they look down at the other two.
"Indeed… Emerald you were supposed to do things to keep Finn out of trouble and same with Cedric since you're the calm one." The White furred cat woman said as the blue furred wolf women growls.
"And you are the brawn of your pack Cedric, you were supposed to stop these two if they caused you to get into a situation that was going to be dangerous!" the blue furred woman said as Kusa sighs when the kids were tearing up.
"Hey I think they get it you three… I got onto them already, hitting them on the heads and this is just overkill." Kusa said as the wolf woman glared at Kusa.
"Stay out of this Kusa, you may have gotten onto them but my son needs to-!" the wolf woman said as Kusa gained a cold look in her eyes.
"Emelina… we maybe friends but do you really think pissing me off by snapping at me is the best idea?... I can easily fight many here solo so trying to get onto me will not be good for your health… I saw what these three did to get out of the situation they were in and while risky was a good plan for kids their age and the skills they showed were not low level so they were not in as much danger as some of you assume so either shut up or I'll make you so you can clear your head… or are you telling me you raised a weakling with Cedric because from what I saw, he held back a boulder that could weigh a ton, Emerald used his magic and brains to form a plan to get them out of the situation and Finn adapted and used his skills with a blade to use a magical blade to cut the boulder in half after Cedric slowed it down… want to pull the mother card… fine… be protective… but don't go overkill since they know full well what could have happened since I got onto them about the life they live and to not waste it on stupid stunts… kids will be kids but even they know not to underestimate how deadly dungeons can be." Kusa said with her emitting a serious amount of magical energy while she didn't show weakness to the now identified Emelina.
Emelina can see the serious look before she back down.
"Alright."
Kusa relaxed with a calm expression before she looks at the Cat woman.
"And as for you Helios, I get you're mad and worried, but as you heard, Emerald came up with this plan to get them out of trouble,,, I'm not sure what happened in the dungeon they were in… though… I did hear that Finn here caused that boulder… so it seems I'll be stepping up my training on making sure Finn learns the value of patience so try and go easy on Emerald…" Kusa said as she gave Finn a slight glare since he did set things off from what she gathered… not Emerald.
Finn flinches from the look as Helios sigh.
"Fine… can't fully punish Emerald if he came up with the plan."
"Good… anyway Rain… we can deal with Finn later, for now I'm sure their bumps will need healing later after you let Finn's head sting but I'm sure he gets the idea." Kusa said as Rain sighs.
"Fine… you know Kusa… you may have been the most against raising Finn… but now…" Rain said when she looks amused.
"It looks like you're trying to be a doting mother to not just Finn but Emerald and Cedric… really getting protective of them huh?" Rain said with a teasing smirk.
Kusa blushes.
"D-Don't get smart with me."
"Hehe… hey someone has to be the brains since you have such a big heart… right Helios?... Emelina?" Rain said when she looks at Helios and Emelina next to her.
"She not wrong about that." Helios said.
"No kidding… can say with 100% certainty… Kusa is more like a prime packmate for wolfkin than some I know… honestly… you got a good bondmate Rain." Emelina said with a matter of fact tone to her voice.
Rain smirks.
"Ain't that the truth."
As Kusa blushed more, being greatly embarrassed, Rain looks at Finn.

"I mean on the skipping part… nevermind. You're here now." Life said.
"Right… so… you said you had a surprise for me mainly?" Emerald said as Life smiles.
"Oh yes… given your training is going well and more… Undeath mine and Deathy's child and though she is 10, she grew interested in you… congratulations, she wants to have you as her Fiance when she is older." Life said.
This… made Emerald blink a few times.
"Huh?... Fiance?... what?" Emerald said in a surprised way since… A… he was 8 at this time and B… while he was smart… Emerald may not know the concept of Fiance VS Mate or Bondmate at least living in a jungle type place for most of his life.
Life giggles.
"A fiance is like having a special girlfriend."
Emerald blushed more from this when he got things now.
"W-Wait!... I mean she is a Globess even if in training and I'm just a mortal… surely there are better picks, there are many dead worlds and the heads of each one… wouldn't they or the kids they have be better?" Emerald said while he looks confused on why Undeath picked him of all people..
"Well surprisingly, even though there were other options, Undeath still wants you." Life said.
"I-I… see… mind if I think on this?... she maybe immortal and things will pass in the blink of an eye even when she is fully matured… but… I'm 8… I mean what would Lord Death think if he heard of this since he can be a bit protective of Lady Undeath." Emerald said while he blushed more… wasn't a no… he was worried on how others may react though.
"You let me deal with Deathy. He may be all powerful but… I get the final say as I put my foot down." Life said.
Emerald blinks at the serious look on Life's face and gulps.
"R-Right… I'll… have my answer tomorrow OK?... I just need to process what I was told… was there anything else to announce Lady Life or was that all?" Emerald asked while he looks curiously at Life.
"Hmmm… was thinking of letting Undeath hang with you and your friends." Life said.
"Really?... what about protocol from the higher ups?... will she be watched if there is a compromise?... I mean forget Lord Death… I mean there is the God Auditor who makes sure Globs of your stations well… stay IN your stations… there could be others not lax with an untrained Globess to be like Undeath running around the mortal plane… I mean she hasn't decided if she wants to take your attributes or Lord Death's fully, she could take both but she has yet to awaken to her powers." Emerald said with some worry now since he got tutored on the higher Globs about Life and Death it seems.
"Don't worry, after talking with Deathy, we picked the best bodyguard. Her name is Maite. She's your age but can wield a big hammer." Life said.
"Maite?... wait… as in the Judge's daughter?... I heard of her… uses holy magic from her father and Necromatic magic from her mother… I mean sure I was trained to be pretty tough and have to hold back to make sure that I don't destroy my body that you helped revived Lady Life… but… how strong is Maite?... strong enough to make sure no one harms her?... I mean no disrespect but… Lady Undeath… can be… well…" Emerald said while he rubs his head with a look of hesitation to speak for a moment…
"Believe me, Maite will be like a Paladin since she's learning both healing and summoning magic from her mother." Life said.
"Ohhhh… its not… Maite I'm worried for… with all due respect Lady Undeath can… get under people's skin… before she comes here… you should… REALLY make sure that she knows not to anger people… especially those like the Royals of Ooo… nuff said some would kill for petty reasons and may not quite believe Lady Undeath is a Globess to be and stuff… I mean with a kid for a bodyguard, would make it seem like we would be playing pretend… saw some kingdoms do stupid stuff in the past when mom and dad took me around a few kingdoms and saw how petty and… wasteful some Royals are… I mean no disrespect to Lady Bubblegum and Lady Marceline since they got back together long ago… but Lady Bubblegum does a lot of damage to the environment for the sake of science and stuff… and Lady Marceline… even if I am friendly with her from a couple run ins with her in the Dead world from some concerts she held… while nice can be a bit… irresponsible… even if they do have a daughter around mine and Finn's age." Emerald said while he rubs his head more.
Life sweatdrops.
"I see what you mean but don't worry… I made sure Undeath will be on her best behavior… or else, no music and games and worse… she would lose her chance to get close to you." She said.
Emerald blushed more from that since Undeath loved her games.
"I see… how long until they come here?" Emerald asked while he was curious on the duo's arrival.
"About a week. So you have time even after you give a response to date Undeath or not." Life said.
"Very well… I'll call you in 3 days to give my response… tell Lady Undeath and Maite I'll enjoy their company." Emerald said in a mannered tone… hey 8 year old or not, he learned to respect the one who revived him from Death from his birth after all.
Life smiles.
"Good. Just make sure you and your friends don't get into more shenanigans. Deathly and I saw that dungeon thing."
Emerald chuckles nervously.
"H-Hehe… I'll… try… but with Finn I can't promise that… may knock him out if needed but… he may forget what happened and try and go again and well…" Emerald said while he pinched the bridge of his nose showing Finn had a stubborn streak on dungeons and adventure much to Emerald's ire sometimes.
"Yes… even though he means well… he should use his head more. Especially when grabbing objects he doesn't know." Life said.
"No kidding… anyway Lady Life I need to hang up now, I'll contact you in a couple days so I wish you and Lord Death well." Emerald said when he got ready to end the communication.
"Same to you and your family, Emerald." Life said.
After this the communication ended and the mirror returned to normal… Emerald ends the spell that held the silence spell and he saw that Finn and Cedric were engrossed with the story mode and Emerald speaks to them.
"Hey I'm going to get a bite to eat and sleep after, try and not stay up too late you guys." Emerald said as he got up and went to leave the room leaving Cedric and Finn alone with the game.
Funny enough…
"Dude… can you believe Emerald is gonna get a girlfriend with Lady Life's daughter?" Cedric said.
Guess he heard it.
"I know… I mean surprised you could hear that when I couldn't… guess it paid off in you having that walkie talkie toy planted under his bed." Finn said showing how Cedric and Finn heard that… guess when it came to science VS magic, Emerald didn't take into account a toy would allow eavesdropping on him and Life.
"Hehe, yeah. I may not have the best hearing like those elf girls we see but… I always have a good sense of smell whether there's good cooking… or if a girl acts… nuts. Not sure what that meant but dad said he was gonna tell me in private." Cedric said.
"Right… for now though may as well pretend we didn't hear things… don't want Emerald to find out about that bug you planted hehe." Finn said while he grins mischivoulsy at Cedric.
"Hey, don't even think about telling him." Cedric said.
"Oh I'm not… may as well use it to get serious tease material if Emerald gets a girlfriend or two hehe." Finn said while he had a teasing look on his face.
Cedric chuckles.
"I'm with you there. Let's get back to the game."
Finn nods before he and Cedric look back at the game and Cedric watched as Finn play single player for the chapter and he would get a chapter for himself… either way the scene slowly fades to black as time goes on while a few interesting things happened this chapter with Finn's new life with Wood Nymph parents.
