Chapter 1

At first it was just a game, characters we played for fun and everything, but we talked more and more the better we got with the game, then we started talking off game, shared many things, likes and dislikes, hobbies, other games, and sometimes personal stuff.

I told him how i went to the main land to expand my knowledge on technology and other things that i saw interesting, i was a good coder and even a hacker if needed to be which he was also, it was surprising he knew how to hack into things which we made together to improve each other's hacking skills.

We called it "Code Wall" a game that shows who can build a better firewall, depending how many fire fall you can breaker the more points your can get, the game wasn't public it was only available to me and him, Wave#50, that was his username in most games we played.

The more we talked and interacted online the better our game "Code wall" evolved, the game was our only way of showing off our skills and it was fun beating Wave#50 and losing too I guess.

If there was something I was curious about after all these months of talking and playing it would probably be who Wave#50 is and I mean what he looks like behind the screen

We knew a lot about each other, but face to face no, I sent him a message in "Code Wall" wanting to meet in person and i was pretty nervous because it could be some old dude wanting to do whatever with me, but i put the thought away not wanting to see anything bad on Wave#50

I waited for about ten minutes before I saw a man my age wearing a visor, he had a dark blue jacket with a black shirt behind it while wearing jeans "BurningCoder398?" he asked me as i nodded before he took a seat "so this is what you look like Wave" he nodded as i smiled a little "want to order anything, i got myself a croissant and some coffee" he shook his head as he put his hands on mine

I gave him a look to make sure he wasn't that type of man as he quickly let go and shook his head "no, no i'm not that type of p-person… my r-real name is Seth, S-Seth wave" he introduce as i nodded "Chelsey Burns" i say as i put my hand in front of him as he grabbed it and shook it

"You're a quiet person aren't you" I asked as he tilted his head "what is a quiet person?" i giggled a bit as i explained what a quiet person was to Seth "ahh i get it… y-yes I am a quiet person" he says as i playfully nudge him "so is what you told me after all these months true"

I met him eye to eye as he nodded "ya, your really fun to talk to, I can relate to you a bit besides family" i nodded as i think of something "how about we hang out for the whole day" I asked as Seth looked like he was thinking about it before he nodded.

We walked around the town talking and telling each other more than we normally do. I feel like we have a connection, a best friends connection where we could say whatever… a never ending conversation I could handle "Chelsey?" i blinked before i looked back to Seth "sorry what were you saying"

I could see that Seth was mainly listening because i did most of the talking while he just nodded, shakes, or grunts "can i see what your face really looks like" i moved in front of him blocking his way, Seth shook his head, but i pleaded him

"Come on please! I won't judge if you look ugly or have a bad scare… if you do have a bad scare then i can relate Seth" he stopped walking as i did to. Seth looked at me as if he wanted me to show my scare "it's not really a scare, but more of losing a limb" i say as i removed my left hand

From his body language I could tell he was surprised "how?" he asked as i put my left hand back on "there was an incident i had back at my home town... my family and i were camping when some boulders fell down our campsite…" i stopped and stayed quiet as i rubbed my left hand and remembered the horror of how i lost my left hand

"Obviously i wasn't aware of the situation and another boulder fell on me, my left hand mainly as it was fractured… it couldn't be repaired or fixed" i said mumbling the last part as i started to tear up. I felt cold, remembering how the doctors told me my hand was too broken to be fixed…

i felt warmth around me before i realized i was in a hug, a hug from Seth himself "its okay… d-don't have to speak a-anymore" i smiled a little as we walked a bit. After a few moments of walking and silence seth stopped as i looked at him "what's wrong?" i asked him, he grabbed my hands and put them on his face as he smiled a little

"Is this supposed to be teasing for me wanting to see you face" i said to him as he nodded before picking me up bridal style "hey let me go this instant" i shouted at him as he giggled while i give him a pout face "can you please drop me to the ground" I asked again as he nodded this time before he dropped me

"Chelsey?" he spoke as i looked at him before he put me on my feet "Yes?" "Would you like to… h-hang out more… in p-person of course not game or computer wise" i giggled at his little studders "Sure Seth" i say as i winked at him before we looked at the sunset "it seems more beautiful don't you think" i say as he put his head on mines before he hugs me tight

The next few days we got to know each other more and to be honest it was great, i learned most of Seth's body language to know when something was right or wrong "you know y-your glasses m-makes y-you look more beautiful" i smiled at Seth's compliment of me, but i do have questions for him at times. Seth's voice sometimes sounds a bit different, it usually starts when he studders, it's like he's using different lines of other people's

Voices… if they are reused lines recorded by him from others who are the people he records it from and now that i think about it, he never really takes off his visor. This suspicion made me worry a bit so i made some precautions and took apart my second pair of glasses to build them how i need it.

Technology on glasses, who would ever know that such a thing could be built, the glasses was finished about a week later, these glasses would help me if i'm in a dire situation so calls and texts would be easier if i don't have my phone…" i don't really need my phone now do i" i asked myself knowing my glasses could be a phone and a computer at the same time

It's kinda hard to type the virtual keyboard when the motion trigger just follows any movement which doesn't help when i'm trying to eat and drink my food around my work space. I was about to advance my motion trigger system when a thought hit me "what if the motion trigger follows something and only that thing to be specific no mater what motion is around" i thought to myself as i grab my sketch book and start my plans.

"We haven't talked for two weeks and three days, and you don't answer me" I grumbled a bit looking at my tech-gloves "I'm inventing something" "Inventing what?" "Something for my safety" "Did something happen!" "No just…" i stopped mid text wondering why I was making this, sure Seth and i met in a game and met in person too, and sure he was a quiet person, but he was also a listener, observer, and…

Never in the time we talked in person did he ever show his face did he, never took off his visor that was blocking his top half of his face, the bottom half always showed his mouth… which at times he smiled from time to time "No, nothing happened" "Good! Thought something happened to you" he messaged back.

All i could do was read the message he sent over and over as my heart tells me to tell him while my mind says to make some space and safety from him… i message him back saying what i was making which was the tech-gloves for my glasses. I waited for a reply from him which made me nervous, what if he doesn't trust me anymore because i don't trust him

I waited for a message before he sent one "look at your computer" i did as the message said and looked at my computer slowly before i saw Seth's face on the screen "what do you want" i asked as he took off his visor… i was shock, what i saw was red glowing eyes staring back at me, if a robot had eyes then i think i just saw it

"What are you" i asked in fear, knowing he was a hacker he could track any device in my house and outside of it "i d-don't mean to s-scare you Chelsey" he says, but i did catch it "what do you want from me" from the look of his face i could see a frown "i d-don't want anything… i just w-wanted a friend" he said while i studied his face to know anything

If he was lying then he had a pretty good poker face, I hope he's telling the truth "why me?" I asked as I moved closer to my computer "well i-" "can you stop using other peoples or whoever's voices" i cut him before he nodded "uh er… i didn't plan to talk to you… it was a game… an online public game where players could play… you remember how we met don't you" he asked me as i nodded at the memory

A game was loading as a player was waiting for an opponent to fight, when the user Wave#50 and BurningCoder398 appear on the screen both smiled "probably another noobie" they told themselves from looking at each others character before the count down started… 3… 2… 1… with a hand near the keyboard and the other on the mouse they both waited before the "Ready! Start!" came.

Two game characters moved forward as they clashed their weapons, one character was great with strength while the other was great at defence, but both players characters were great at speed. The battle lasted for ten minutes before the timer went out as the words "Draw" appeared, both players didn't win and neither did they lose, but if there was one thing they both thought, it would be a rematch

Player Wave#50 and BurningCoder398, both players with an A-Rank Tier almost S-Rank Tier, never met each other until today. Many knew these players as they saw them kill thousands of monsters in about two hours which was scary and worrying if you ever battle them in the gladiator ring.

"Thoses were the good times" Chelsey thought as she looked back at her computer screen and nodded "i was just trying to pass time in my place before we met" "okay? But what are you?" there was silence from seth for about three minutes before he answered "what i tell you never leaves your mouth got it" i did a zip my lip motion with my hand and mouth as he sighs before he looked at me with a bit of happiness

After that Seth explained to me about what he was, he's a Cybertronian, a robotic being who can live for a very long time and transform into any vehicle they scan... or at least that was what i could summarize, Seth is… no i mean Soundwave, is a seeker, a flying vehicle mode Cybertronian. He was the Third In Command of the Decepticons who's current leader is lost or M.I.A Missing in action

Soundwave was supposed to look for his leader which he has been doing for months, but to no luck, Soundwave made a vow to stay silent for his leader which is why he uses recordings of others "wait so are you using your real voice?" i asked as he nodded "w-well its very nice… i would love to hear it more" i couldn't believe i just said that to him like what am i even saying

Anyways, Soundwave was a Gladiator, he became one for the money to live and survive which made me sadden a bit knowing how dangerous it might be… Soundwave started when he was a Sparkling, which in human terms mean baby, kid, and child i think… i couldn't even imagine fighting just to make some money to live… must of been hard to survive

"So what is the cause of the two factions" "the original cause was to make peace on Cybertron, no slavery, no fighting to make money, no lower class begging to the higher class and.." i could tell it was hard for Soundwave to speaking knowing what he did to survive, so i decided to do something, something to keep his mind off cybertron and maybe the decepticons too

"Can you by chance teach me how to read and write cybertronian?" i asked him as he looked skeptical before he typed something and sent it to me, i opened up the message and saw a whole bunch of symbols with the english letters next to it "what you see is the cybertronian alphabet, when you are done studying that read the message i sent you"

I opened up the second message he sent me and I knew i'll have to study the Cybertronian alphabet before I could read this. I didn't show it, but I was excited to learn a new language, to be the first human to learn cybertronian. While i was daydreaming about my soon accomplishment many questions were still in my mind which some aren't answered yet

"How did you become human?" i asked before a drone like bird appeared and made noises while landing on soundwaves shoulder "that is what we cybertronian's call a holoform, a hologram of sorts basically" i nodded before looking at the drone "and him?" i asked as Soundwave looked at his drone "this is laserbeak, my symbiote, i created him" "cool could you make me one too" i asked imagining a cool robot er symbiote as a partner

"Can't" he said as I pouted and wined "why not?" i asked as he giggles a little "sorry sweetspark, but you don't have a spark" "a what? And who you calling a sweetspark!" "in human terms it's a cybertronians heart and for the last part… i'm calling you sweetspark~"

that last part made me feel funny, but i ignore it seeing how laserbeak was laughing at me "If this wasn't a screen i punched you right now" "sorry sweetspark, but you would only hurt yourself and put a tiny dent on me" he teased while i was angry, but also feeling something else, but who knows what that is.

The next week both Soundwave and me were busy, Sounds was locating his lost leader and making sure the decepticon's weren't stepping out of line while i was finishing my final touches on the tech-gloves and glasses which i'll say i'm proud seeing this is how far i became with coding and engineering, oh and i was also learning more cybertronian as after i finished their alphabet Sounds sent me more and more things about cybertron and also sent his work to me to do it for him.

I'll say the first time he sent his work to me it was by accident, but i thought it was for me so i did it without a second thought, when i sent it back to him he was surprise that i finished it saying how complicated some of the equations were and how i got this to answer that

The more i do soundwave's work on the nemesis the more i understand cybertronian and to be honest it was really hard to learn, but there math was really easy for me to do i mean their chemistry and mathematics sure are advanced, but i understood them like it was natural

Soundwave sometimes talks about starscream and its pretty funny hearing them i mean like he sent me a picture on how starscream looks and boy oh boy he has some lady legs, i mean his feet looks like high heels and with high heels you can slip easily if you misstep, which apparently Starscreen did.

The end of his foot or heel as i like to say it got stuck on one of the vents on the ground, Starscream tried to get his foot out, but his heel broke which lead him to unbalance himself and fall into one of the walking Vehicon's arms

I still think it's funny the more I think about it and sounds still sends me the video to show how I still laugh about. Later on the day I heard a whooshing sound in my kitchen and when I looked at the directions of the sound I saw a greenish-blue portal vortex thing

"Wow" I thought as I walked closer to see what it was, but something came out or someone… it was Sounds in his holoform "what is that!" I asked, still wondering what it is he came out of "it's a groundbridge" "and?" I asked him to continue

He then explained to me what a ground bridge was and to be honest it sounded a lot like a transportation device "that's so cool! But can humans go through it?" I asked not wanting to become atoms and float around a portal for the rest of my life "affirmative" was what his answer was and I was happy

So many questions came in my mind about the ground bridge as sounds just sat on my couch waiting for me to ask questions or at least I thought so "so like if it's like a portal what happens when another groundbridge appears next to it" I asked knowing if two forces fight then it usually makes a giant explosion

"Don't know? Hasn't been tested" I nodded before I looked at him with a bright smile on my face "you want to try it don't you?" He said which made me smile "if something does go wrong at least you'll find an answer to it or me at least"

I knew he knew it was dangerous for me, but I wanted this, his race was so advanced it was amazing, technology you could never even think about. I packed my things just in case I get sent to another dimension, I would at least have something to live off of if i do survive

I packed two bags, one for food and drinks and the other one for my technology stuff "okay I'm ready!" I shouted at soundwave as he activated his groundbridge and laserbeak who was at the decepticons base activated another from there

Two ground bridges appear as I took a deep breath before I saw something I knew would happen, the two ground bridges combined as one and later one big explosion came

When the bright light disappeared from the explosion, I took a look around, nothing happened, the only difference was that everything looked darker which was probably the side effect of the explosion from the two ground bridges

After a few minutes I turned around to look at soundwave as I said "let's leave sounds, nothing happened" which is a pretty big disappointment if I have to say. Soundwave didn't move, which confused me "Hey Sounds!" I shouted at him, but no answer came

Maybe since he was cybertronian something happened to him and made him lose his voice? Wait he has his visor for that if that's the case, but then again that explosion could have sent an electrical surge making his systems fried

Instead of calling him I messaged him wanting to know if he was alright and if his systems are fried I have to move him "Sounds you there?" I messaged as an instant replay came with him walking back and forth like he was worried "Chelsey you're alive!"

That question made me confused "I'm right next to you look down" I shouted, but he didn't answer so I messaged him what I said "I'm right next to you look down" sounds looked down before he looked around him "I don't see you" he messaged me

The same place, but another place at the same time, the same dimension as the other, but only a one way view "This could be useful information" I told myself as I opened my bag to get my notebook and wrote down some notes "are you okay?" Soundwave message me as I was about to grab my phone to answer, but I decided against it

I went to my tech bag and grabbed my tech-gloves as I put them on and press a button on my glasses "ya I'm fine sounds" I messaged with my new invention i finished "hey Chelsey what's this thing I found" I looked up from the message to sounds as he had an invention of mine

"It's my drone, must have fallen out and blown away from the explosion" I messaged back before an idea came "sounds can you put my drone down" soundwave did as told as I smiled at him. Looking for system controls for my drone in my glasses systems took about a minute to find before I turned on the drone and moved it around for a test run

"Okay systems work fine and systems seem stable" I say to no one in particular as Soundwave just watch my drone move around as I move it on me. The drone was inside me… but also not inside me… so many questions with no answers

"Where ever my drone is where I'm at" I messaged to soundwave as he nodded "can you speak sounds" soundwave from what I can tell looked at the message before saying "You Hear" "okay this proves I can see and hear you, but no touch" I say as I wrote it down as note "i can hear you and see you, but can't touch you" I messaged soundwave as I see him node

"Question?" Soundwave says as I messaged him "ya?" "How do you get back" I smirk at him even though he can't see it "for an advanced race you sure aren't smart… we use the same way we got in, two ground bridges" I say as this time the two ground bridges combined into a giant one and didn't exploded

"That was amazing" I say to sounds as he shook his head "so when do I get to the the deceptions base" a giant red X appear on sound's visor meaning no or I guess in this case never "Chelsey's safety comes first" he told as I gave him a soft smile. The past few weeks I've been studying the other dimension which I would call the shadow zone. Soundwave also made my glasses like his visor which in my opinion was amazing. Hacking can be done so easily, but I told soundwave that I prefer using my tech-gloves

Speaking of the tech-gloves ever since I told soundwave about it he gave me many suggestions which I agreed to some, like every technology I touch I can see the code and everything which is easier to hack or change the coding. We also made improvements on Code Wall every free time we get which made the game more fun and a bit addictive for me and sounds which took a great will to not think about it every now and then. My glasses can also make a groundbridge like sound's visor, but I didn't tell him I have access to the shadow zone which might be a great advantage to the decepticons cause
