Chapter 1: the start of it all
Location: Sweeping Meadows
The weather was sunny and beautiful, just as the small and beautiful town of Sweeping Meadows was bashed in the warmth of sunshine from above, while a cool and crisp spring breeze roared through the town, many of the citizens were going among their daily lives and routines, while creatures of all sizes great and small, all were walking among one another and enjoying their usual morning routines, just as a normal otter was walking among the path of them all, while he was walking towards the local florist shop dub in the heart of the city "Ah, Kimmie's Bouquet, just the place I've been looking forward to visiting as anyways."
The young happy striding otter said happily, as he was now walking up towards the front entrance of the beautiful and amazing flower shop, all while a friendly face greeted him at the door "Morning Calvin, how's your mom doing today, did she get the roses?" Asked a very friendly corgi friend to Calvin with a smile, while holding the for open for him "Why good morning to you too Tom, oh mind yes, mom did enjoy the flowers as always, I'm just bet to pick up some special mind for her again, you're always making her day with the flowers, I'm just get to pick up some roses and tulips today for a special date, I've got reservations tonight at a fancy restaurant."
He said with a joyful expression and continued into the flower shop, just as Calvin stopped at the counter to order his special floral requests, just as Calvin was now looking at three real reasons he stopped by in the first place, just before his very eyes stood the flower shop owner's beauty and charming daughter "Oh, morning Calvin, the usual as always, the Calvin special of two dozen roses, both red and white, and dozen tulips, let me guess, you're going to pair them with a heart shape chocolate box, a plushie of a teddy bear, who's the lucky women this time sweetie, your mom, or sister since they're both our best costumers, we'll besides you of course hehe." The friendly corgi said happily, while she's grabbing his order and prepping everything together, smiling at the sight of him "Well Kimmie, let's say I've found the perfect gal in my life this time, it's the one and my mom knows it too."
He said while placing the cash down on the counter as she grabbed the flower, all while he now smiled at Kimmie "Tell your dad and Mom, thanks for letting me stop by before work, I'll be seeing you all again soon Kimmie, ciao." Calvin said while walking off with his special order, just as Bethany was walking by with a few boxes of seeds "Morning Beth." Calvin said happily, just as he grabbed the boxes from her and placed them onto the counter for her "Fancy to see you here carrying all of these boxes, though I'll help you out a little bit here before heading off to work, how's life's treating you and Tom lately, I mean since Kimmie took over the family business and all?" He asks Bethany, just as she's now giggling softly and sees Tom walking up, with a happy stride in his steps ever since retiring from running the family business "Never been better Calvin."
Beth said happily while standing next to Tom, while she's now placing her right paw on her belly along with Tom's left hand "You can say we're expecting another beautiful girl, she's due to arrive in the next few months, we're thinking on a few name ideas here and there, but we've been thinking mostly on one name, and that one speciation name idea is Trisha, after time Tom's mom and we're so excited to be having another girl, but how are things with you darling." Bethany and Tom both said with a very happy tune in their voices, just as she was smiling some more and then back to her duties, and Calvin laughed a little bit "You two always knew that the very first moment you two lock eyes at that special Wooly Llamalo concert, that's always a great heart touching story, well I've got to get going, don't wanna be late now."
Calvin said while running out of the flower shop and towards the center of the village, Kimmie giggled softly and returned to help other customers with their flower orders, Calvin grabbed his phone and started to order a few things with a smile on his face and was now walking towards a local coffee shop to pick up something special for the day and something else as well
A few moments later: Chris's Freshly Brewz
Calvin was walking into a coffee shop with a strong smile on his face while reading the menu and thinking "Why if it isn't Calvin Ottswell in the flash, long time no see old friend, thought you weren't even cared to stop by at all, what brings you into my fine place of business huh?" A strong, but yet very firm voice called out towards him. just as Calvin sees a smiling ferret who is working and taking orders from customers "Well be, if it isn't my old college roommate in the flash of a shake, it's been a while huh Xavier, how's the folks doing lately, sorry I've been busy with life and working a lot since college, been working and helping mom get into a special one of a kind nursing home." He said while walking towards the counter to place his orders "Well, Mom and Dad passed this shop to me awhile back, but lately, they've left to go back home to their favorite dream location of where they've met at college, see this sign next to me huh pal, this is where they met at college in their homeland." Xavier said while nodding at a picture next to him of his mom and dad, sitting together on a blanket underneath a tree with raining cheery blossoms floating around them "Mom and Dad are from Cherry Lanes, so they've gone home to settle down and enjoy their retirement of happiness, now my friends, what can I get for you today?"
He asks the friendly-looking otter with a smile on his face while looking him over and holding a notepad in his right hand, and a pen in his left hand "Surprise me, Xavier, I am off to see my mom today and then well, I have a secret date tonight with a certain someone, I don't wanna tell my mom, because she's old school traditions, if you catch my drift, sorry man, I am just a little nervous about this date another well." He stopped talking and walked away feeling a bit embarrassed and found a seat while sitting alone in the back of the coffee shop near the back exit, when all of a sudden, a figure sat across from him and placed a cup of freshly brewed coffee in front of him "Talk now mister, tell me what's got you feeling like this, this isn't the Ottswell I know, come on man, we all know you never act this way before." the ferret said while Calvin was looking at him and sighed right as he pulled his phone from his pocket and shows the text and number, plus a pic of the person he has been texting a lot "Calvin, are you telling me that, you've been secretly dating Kimmie Corgsley, that cute corgi who runs the flower shop in town, why didn't you tell me this before, I know how you like her since childhood my man, you and I go way back, I mean you two met when we were all young, hell dude, I was the one who introduced you both at recesse that day we both met her, she had her eyes setted on you from the get-go, don't you think this were be perfect for you."
He said while he was placing his right hand on Calvin's left hand and smiled at him "Dude, she loves you and trusts me when I say this my man, she really really, loves you with all she has, you've got to go for it, if you both don't then one day, well, you both might regret it, if you both don't get together and end up with someone else and think, damn, did we blow our best chances at true love, trust me Calvin, she's the one for you." Xavier said to his best friend who was now smiling back at him and nodded in response to him "Xavier, you're right man, this is my best chance ever at true love, I'm not going to sit back and let life pick for me, I am going to go for it, now I like your best seller coffee and." Xavier stopped Calvin was talking and placed a box on the table "Got you covered dude, here are the two best coffees, with a few doughnut balls, and your mom's favorite snack as well, our famous gingerbread bites with chocolate drizzle, now man, you go grab this opportunity by the horns." He said to his friend who was now getting up and shaking his paw before walking away and on his way to meet his mom "See ya later dude, tell your folks I say hey ok, ciao man."
Calvin said while leaving the coffee shop with the items in tolled, just as Xavier was now walking back to the counter where a few customers were now greeting him, just as they all started to make their orders, Xavier was happy to be working at the coffee shop his parents started and left for him as a gift to take over from them
Meanwhile: Back at Kimmie's Bouquet
Kimmie's mom and dad were both walking around the store, while they were checking on the costumes and were very happy, with how well Kimmie's handling the business since they've passed the store down to their daughter "Wow Beth, she's doing since a great job of running the family business, we should go on a vacation sooner or later." Tom said while walking with his wife next to him, heading towards the back of the store to check on a few things, while Kimmie was busy helping customers "Thank you for picking Kimmie's Bouquet, funny forget to bloom again, sorry for the cheesy flower jokes."
She said to her customers, who started laughing and smiling at her and also laughing at the joke "No problem Kimmie, catch ya next time for real sugar." Said a very happy honey badger, as she walked away with her order while a sheep smiled and nodded at her too "Yes Kimmie, you've got the best selection of flowers around these parts, you have a bassssshful day honey." He said while walking off to go home a week, about thirty minutes after the final customers all left with their orders, Kimmie was closing the store door for her lunch break and was now restocking everything when a fox vixen walked into the flower shop along with a weasel "Special delivery Kimmie, we've got your new delivery of special roses, tulips, daisies, poppies, honeysuckles, you name it."
The friendly vixen said happily while the weasel walked up with a dolly with a few crates, then smiled at her and nodded "Yes Madame Kimmie, we've got your other crates coming in next, I'll be right back with the others." She said happily while Kimmie smirked at the two before her "Thanks again Naomi, Tiffany, so glad my new shipment came in a day early instead of tomorrow, I'm planning to restock the shelves after work, so everything going great." She says happily and feels so hyped up about the evening plans when her phone pings "I'll be right back you two, I've got to check my phone."
She said before walking off and picking up her phone, just as she was smiling at the sight before her eyes, just as she saw a few texts from a person named 'Secret Romance' she was now smiling at all of the texts, blushed happily as well while reading it "Kimmie honey, you're ok over here darling?" A voice asked her while walking towards her "Oh hey mom, yeah I'm doing in just checking my one you know, got to make sure all items in the orders are here and counted for." She said while grabbing the clipboard from the weasel and signing it for her "Here you go Naomi, I hope you and Tiffany have a wonderful night, and see you two again in a few weeks or months."
Kimmie said happily with excitement in her voice while Tom was walking up with a smile on his face, then Bethany walked up as well with a smile on her face and saw Kimmie was acting strange all of a sudden, hiding her phone quickly and dusting herself off a little bit before clearing her throat "Uh, mom, dad, I've got to ask, were it be ok with you two, if I uh, take off early tonight?" She asked her parents who were now worried a little bit before asking her a question "Kimmie baby, are you ok, I mean you're acting weird and we're just concerned and all."
Bethany asked their daughter while Tom looked at her as well, then nodded in agreement with her mom "Your mom's right KimKim, you've been acting strange and weird lately around this time, Is everything ok sweetie?" Kimmie's dad asked her while she was smiling at them both and hugged them both instantly "Look, Mom, Dad, I've been doing just fine trust me ok, I'm just happy to have the best parents ever, but I'm just happy about everything and I'm just happy." Kimmie said while her parents smiled at her "Well Kimmie sweetheart, we're both so drag proud of you, you've grown into a beautiful and strong woman, why don't you go ahead and take the rest of the day off sweetie, your dad and I can finish here."
Beth said while her husband was smiling and nodding his head in agreement with his wife "Your mom's right Kimmie, now you go and enjoy the rest of the day off ok?" Tom said happily while looking at their beautiful and stronghearted daughter who was now running off towards the back so she could clock out from work, she was also going to go get ready for her special date as well, with this special someone who liked her for the real charming and fun-loving her
A few hours later: Sweeping Meadows Retirement Home
Calvin walked into the friendly and warming retirement home he was working at and walked towards the front desk "Morning Kristine, Millie, Dusty, how are the sweetest gals doing on this fine day, I've gotten you all your favorite coffee drinks, I'd personally ordered this morning." he said happily while the three of them all smiled at him and were happily drinking their coffee drinks and handed him the list of stuff "Why yes we did Calvin, thank you so much for the drinks, plus your sister is here and visiting with your mom, plus everything going great wit hall of the residents." Dusty said while Millie and Kristine both smiled and nodded their heads "That's right, so you can take the day off and we'll give you a payday off hun, now go see your mom, she has been asking for you to say hi, plus your sister's waiting for you too." Millie said while all three of them returned to their duties, just as Calvin walked away from the mall and was now walking down the hall and towards the location of his mom's room while smiling at the thoughts of Kimmie and him having a date together tonight, just as he was now walking into the room and sees his sister was now looking at his sister who was now smiling at him as well "Hey little brother, so nice to see you again after the past few years, how are things going with you?"
She asked her little brother and the mom was also smiling at him as well "Calvin my son, how have you been darling, it's nice to see you back at work again as always, by the way, my sweet little darling, Hilary was talking to me about us spending Christmas together this year at her place, then maybe new years at your place this time." She said while smiling at her two beautiful kids and looking at them both "Well you two, why don't we all gather around and catch up on old-time shake huh, I know it's been a while since we last saw you, Hilary, I do hope you're doing great and hopes you're doing well Calvin my sweet boy, how's your working here going by the way, hope you fell for one of the gals here, there are a few otters here that are cute and liked to be with you."
She said while the doctor was walking into the room "Good morning Mrs. Ottswell, it is time for your morning checkup, so, could you both please, step outside for a while?" He asked them both, while looking at their mom as the two smiled and nodded at the nursing home doctor "Yes Dr. Roarson, we're going to go to the cafe, grab a drink and be back soon." Hilary said while she and Calvin were both walking out of the room, but Calvin placed a box of the stuff and her mom's coffee on the nightstand next to her bed "This is all low in sugar Mom, just like how the doctor told us." He said while walking off, as the doctor smiled at their mom and started the test
Moments later: Sweeping Meadows Retirement Home cafeteria
Hilary and Calvin were both sitting together and having a chat together, drinking some coffee he brought for them both to enjoy together, as well as a few sweets from Chris's coffee shop "Damn these are amazing coffees huh bro, now about this thing, who are you dating, mom has been asking me if you're acting kinda off lately, but I am not sure on it." Hilary said while Calvin sighed while looking at his sister while thinking about how to get out of this awkward situation "Yes sis, I am dating someone, well hope I'll still be dating her, plus I hope to still have her also by my side then as well, but I am not ready to tell you and/or mom about her just yet, I am scared mom were get offended for who I'm dating, sorry sis, I've got to go, I'm meeting her tonight if that's ok, I have a reservation at "O'Herny's tonight for our third year-anniversary together as a dating couple, tell mom I love her ok sis." Calvin said while getting up and hugging his older sis goodbye before walking off and towards the entrance of the nursing home, then walked out of the building and towards the location of his date with Kimmi, but Hilary was sure to get their mom involved in this "Mom's not going to like this one bit, I can tell he's not dating another otter, well, time to go scoping out the truth with mom." Hilary said while walking back towards their mother's room in the nursing home
A few hours later: Location, O'Herny's
The night was beautiful, wonderful, and amazingly lit, with stars shining high above the cute cozy-looking Sweeping Meadows restaurant, just as Kimmi was walking back and forth with a few strange feelings of nervousness in her gut, she was wearing a stunning dress, hot pink dress with sparkling baby blue glitter on it, with sliver streaks running through the upper right shoulder part, she was also wearing her favorite blouse that ran down past her knees a little, the blouse was baby blue with hot pink glitter, just as she think of the date night, maybe this night wasn't going to go as planned for her and her so-call date, just as she was about to give up on the idea of the nice dinner date, the front doors opened slightly and in walked the date of Kimmi, Calvin wearing his beautiful crimson red blazer tuxedo, with matching crimson red blazer pants, as he was walking towards the podium "Good evening sir, welcome to O'Herny, my name's Jullie and how may I be of services to you toinght?"
The kind, sweet-looking doe was asking while looking at Calvin and saw how dressed he was, as if he was dressed to please a boss for a promotion or something "Yes madame, I'm here for my date night, I've made a reservation for two, for me and my date here, under the name OttsMi." He said while looking towards the left of him with a cute wink directed at Kimmi who was now blushing happily "Oh you, you should know how to treat a woman Calvin." She said while the hostess was laughing and smirked at the couple "Well then, welcome to the finest establishment and please enjoy your date with us tonight, if I may ask, any real reason why you've picked us for this special date?" The doe asked the two while Calvin smiled at the sweet and kind hostess "Well Jullie, if you want to know why, it's our third year-anniversary together as a dating couple, I know mixed species dating is frowned upon here maybe." He said while wrapping his right hand around his date's left shoulder while the doe laughed so hard and smiled at the two couple "Hell no darlings, in fact of this all, I am also dating someone out of my species list as well myself, I am kinda seeing this cute gazelle, so please no worries, no one's judging you here at all, please followed me to your table you reserved earlier today by the phone."
Jullie said happily while she was now leading them both throughout O'Herny's and towards their seat located in which, which also had a private cooking station in front of it, just as the two lovebirds sat down together and were now looking at their menus "Good evening and welcome to O'Herny, my names Larry and I'll be your waiter for this fine evening, now what cam I'd get you two to drink?"
Later on: Sweeping Meadows Retirement Home
Hilary was walking through their mother's nursing home room while cleaning up for the evening, she was looking at all of the seats in the room and sighed, just as she'd got something on her mind, just as she saw a notebook with a bookmark inside of it "This is new, Mom, do you know who this is by any chance?" She asked their mom while looking for more clues and opened the notebook to a section with the name Kimmi on the bookmark, just as their mom grabbed the bookmark, which made her eyes suddenly go wide-eyed "Hilary!" She shouted out loud while looking at her daughter, just as she was looking at her sweet daughter's face "Hurry we've got a date to stop." She shouted as the daughter called the front desk and the workers all helped her out of her bed and into her wheelchair, just as they were all heading for their location of the date night that was currently happening "No son of mine's going inter-species not on my watch." She proclaims while the daughter was worried about what was going on at first, till they get to the location
A while later: Kimmie's Bouquet
Kimmi's mom and dad were both finishing up their setup for the next day and the big rush if buyers of flowers, just as they were both walking towards the front of the store and were now getting ready to leave, just as Beth and Tom were both about to exit the shop, the door was swung open widely "You two stop right there!" A voice shouted out and loudly at the both of them, just as a Tiger was wheeling a wheelchair into their shop with an elderly-looking otter in the wheelchair "Hello, I am so sorry Madame, but we're closed for the night, please come back tomorrow for the opening of normal business hours, thank you." Beth said while getting an evil stare from the elder otter in her wheelchair, but Beth walked up and spoke to the otter "Well if it isn't Mrs. Ottswell, it's Beth your old neighbor from a while back." She said happily, all while Mrs. Ottswell's eyes widened "Beth, Tom, I hardly noticed you too, but enjoy catching up, we've got an emergency on our hands, it's your daughter, Kimmi, she's in danger."
She said while Kimmi's parents were both scared and worried "How can our little Kimmi be in danger?" Tom asked Mrs. Ottswell, just as Mrs. Ottswell sighed softly before looking back at the two in front of her very own eyes "She's dating another species, totally outside of the corgi family, plus she's dating my son behind our backs, never told us once at all about them and their relationship." She said while looking at Kimmi's parents "They're both out on a date, I've got a whirl, of their date tonight, they're dating at O'Herny's, how do you two react to being treated this way by them." Mrs. Ottswell said while Kimmi's parents were nodding their heads "Yes, we've got to go, we've got to end this relationship, it'll ruin our family business and make both of our species, the most hated species in the world, let's get going
Awhile Later: O'Herny's
Kimmi's parents were both walking through the front door of the fancy O'Herny's restaurant with Calvin's mom and older sister, just as they were all looking around and saw nothing, but then, Beth and Tom were both walking away and toward the back of the place while the scanning the entire area "THERE!" Screamed Beth, just as Tom, Clavin, Hilary, and Mrs. Ottswell were all looking toward the back and saw Calvin placing a ring on Kimmi's right ring finger and kissing her on the lips, just as a lot of people were clapping and cheering for the couple "STOP RIGHT THERE!" Both Kimmi and Calvin turned to see both of their parents and even Calvin's sister marching towards them both, just as the Tiger wheeled Calvin's mom up towards him, who was now looking at her son in disgusted anger "Calvin Filmore Ottswell, you'll remove that ring off of this women's finger right this instant or I swear, I'll disown you as fast as lighting hits a tree, no son of mine's will ever get involved and/or marry themselves into an interspecies relationship ever, do you hear me, mister!?"
She said out loud while Kimi's parents were the same as well, but far worse on her with the wrath of their feelings on this "Kimmi Nichol Corgsley, you've better call off this engagement or we're going to disown you, take the family business back from you, cut you completely out of our will for good, now what it's it going to be?" They both said as well towards their daughter who was now crying and hiding her face in her paws, sobbing in her chair while Calvin confronted his mom on her rudeness towards the love of his life "MOM" he shouted towards her in a very upset mood "I know she's a welsh corgi, but I've fallen for her that one day back when we were young, we've been friends ever since preschool, once we've got to meet again in college after so long and we realized that we had a lot in common and started to hang and chat, mom, you told me to always listen to my heart, that's how you and dad match." Calvin said to his mom while his mom sighed and slapped him across the face hard and left a bright red mark on his face "Your father's the reason I'd had you in the first place, you were a mistake and he knew it, now give me back my ring I'd gave you and let's go, you need to learn how to marry a proper otter, not no corgi."
She said while Kimmi stepped in between the both of the mand and then looked at her parents as well, standing her ground against them and their demands as well "Mom, Dad, take back the flower shop, cut me out of your will for all it is worth, I'd fallen for Calvin too if you think this is sick, you'll never know how I truly feel about him and of why I'd fallen for him in the first place, he's very charming, caring, and he loves me for me, we've been dating for three years now, we're so glad we've found each other if you want to disown me, but if you want to disown your very own son Mrs. Ottswell, better listen to me ok, every otter I'd seen dating him all used him, he was once heartbroken when a river otter took him to the bank and stole money from him, stealing a few pieces of jewelry you've given him."
Kimmi said while holding up her purse and pulling out a few necklaces, bracelets, and earrings "These are a few things I'd bought at a local pawn store, we were planning together to give them all back to you, even this one, of you and Calvin and Hilary's father, he knows how much it means to you." She said while walking up and placing the mall in her hand while Mrs. Ottswell sighed and slapped her across the face as well "Get lost you two, I'm officially disowning you Calvin, you're no longer my son, just a worthless piece of shit, now give it back." She said while Calvin handed her the ring back, just as she took it from him as fast as light and then spat into her former son's face and snapped her finger to tell the strong tiger to wheel her out of them and to take her back to the nursing home, just as Calvin was tearing up and sat in his seat again, Kimmi pulled a chair out and sat next to him with a paw on his shoulder "Sweetie, are you going to be ok?" She asks her fiance who was shaking his head "No babe, I'd just followed my heart like my mom always told me to do, I'd just never thought she would even do this to me, her son, it just hurts so much." he said while hugging her and crying into her shoulder "Excuse me, but we've also decided to disown you, but sorry Kimmi, you've left us both no choice, you're no longer our daughter, you're no longer allowed within a hundred feet of the flower shop, or even a hundred feet of us as of tonight, goodbye and good riddance, you've chosen your path, and we're no longer supporting this crap, you call a relationship, please give us back the phone, plus give us your phone to Calvin, we're doing this great city a favor of disowning you both."
Beth and Tom told both Kimmi and Calvin, who were now handing their phones over to Kimi's former parents without saying another word towards them at all, just as they all walked away from the heartbroken couple, just as Calvin sighed before pulling out his cash since he never had a credit card but was stopped by the manager of the place "Please pay now, get out of this restaurant, you both have made this fine place into a hellhole, you two better get your disgusting, disrespectful asses out of here now, or I'll call the cops." He said while the both of them got up and left together while many eyes were fixed upon them and a few of the customers were also telling them their true feelings on the matter at hand "FREAKS!"
A few screamed at them "Go die you pricks." Another few voices called out at them "Get lost, this town doesn't need a freak of a hybrid here anyways." Another voice yelled at them just as they both ran out of the restaurant and off towards wherever they could go, after about a few hours of running and worrying about where they could feel safe together, the couple made it to another location of a new settlement "Welcome to Aquaton, home to many beautiful beaches, oh love this place is perfect for us." Kimmi said happily all while walking with him and smiling at the sight of their new possible home
Many months later: Aqauton Heights Apartments
The moment the couple arrived in the newest town and explained their dire situation, the town folks were all very kind and polite, not judging anyone for who they were and/or what they were, the two got settled into a new and very lovely home on the beach, as the days and weeks passed on as one day Kimmie confronted Calvin with a bright smile on her face "Oh sweetie, I've got something that'll male of all this drama worth it." She said while feeling cheerful and looked at her mate's worried impression while choking a little to himself "Y, y, y, you do, what's the news?"
He asked acting a little boy with some fear and a dash of nervousness in his voice, while Kimmi sat next to him and held out a test strip "Kimmie, is this, what I think it is?" Be asks while getting a little bit of enjoyment, and excitement, and finally feeling the sadness of the past events getting washed away from him and their lives "Yes Calvin my dear, we're going to have a baby together, I don't know what species through, but I'm happy I'm having this baby with you, my love." She said with a cheek expression in her voice while she and Calvin kissed passionately and hugged each other, holding onto each other embrace got a good ten to almost twenty minutes "I'm nervous love, what if they find out about this and try to keep them away from us?"
Kimmie asked her love who was now holding her paws in his and looked at her with a hopeful determined stare "We'll be ready when that time comes, for now Kimmie, we've got to focus on us." Calvin said while feeling happy and proud to be a father
A few weeks later: Location, Aquaton's Aqua Beach
The day was beautiful and calm there was a slight breeze blowing through the air, and the citizens all gathered for the wedding of the newest residents Calvin and Kimmie, Calvin stood next to a new face in his life in the form of a friendly weasel named Zane and a few others, a meerkat name Bill, Alex a fennec fox and a bobcat name Tristan, along the lovely event the music was now playing and out from the back, came his beloved Kimmie in her beautiful aqua pink wedding gown with glitter all over it, as she's walking down the beach with happiness in her strides of the steps she taken towards her love, just as she stops and then the biggest and most happiest event happened in this life, they've got married and were happier then ever now, they're going to be having their first ever child and become great parents
Much later on: Sweeping Meadows General Hospital
The much-needed time came for the lovely couple, as Kimmie and Calvin were ready to welcome their first ever kind into their lives, unfortunately for the two lovers the happiness they'd created together, was now in jeopardy at that very moment, they were back in their hometown due to the facts of Aquaton not having a hospital capable of dealing with pregnancy and deliveries like these, Kimmie was in great pain while Calvin held her paws with his and kissed her on the forehead "Kimmie sweetie, I'm here by your side, you've got this."
He said and a few moments later, there were sounds of crying, followed by a lot of awes and oohs, all from the staff that helped with Kimmie's delivery of the baby, she was panting heavily and looking at her husband while they were holding each other's hands together, the nurses all running tests on the newborn, just as a tigress nurse was walking towards her with their baby all wrapped in a blanket and handed it towards her "Congratulations you two it's a healthy baby boy." She said and Kimmi grabbed the baby from the nurse while she and Calvin were sitting together and pulling the top of the blanket away from the baby's face, revealing the most cutest, adorable and most beautiful thing ever in one's lifetime, just as the baby was a sea otter with a few corgi features, the ears, snout, and paws, along with a tail that was also stubby small like a short corgi tail, with the fluffy silk texture of a sea otter tail "Awe Calvin, he has our features and he's so adorable, look he's hot pink fur, cream secondary color, with his baby blue left eye and hot pink right eye,"
Right before she could finish her sentence the baby was snuggling against her and started to nap softly, just as the tigress nurse was walking back towards them both and stepped aside as her boss walked past her and stopped, to look at the couple "OK, I'm sorry to do this to you two Mr. And Mrs. Ottsley, but due to protocols we've got to inform both of your families, please respect the rules." A fox nurse said to them while walking away to go and call their families, no matter the backlash in the last and the two nodded in defeated stages
Moments Later: Corgsley's Floral Shop
Beth and Tom were sweeping the floor of this flower shop when their phone rang, just as Beth picked up and answered the call "Good evening, tonight's a perfect night for flowers here at Corgsley's Floral Shop, this is Beth, and how may I help you?" She asked the occupation on the other line while the voice answered back "Ah yes, this is nurse Tracy Vixenson, I'm calling Sweeping Meadows General Hospital, we're calling with high urgency of congratulations on behalf of your daughter Kimmie, she's gone into labor and just delivered a health baby boy."
Three nurses said while hanging the phone call up, which made Beth drop the phone and look straight at Tom "Tom, is the hospital what do I do, they've called and said Kimmie's there and she just delivered a healthy baby." She said while Tom was walking up and sighed "So, we've disowned her and she broke the demands of not coming within a hundred feet of us, we'll make them pay sooner than later my love." He said while they're both returning to their work
Meanwhile: Sweeping Meadows Retirement Home
The evening of the retirement home was interrupted by the ringing of the phone on the front desk, just as a snow leopard picked up the phone and answered the call "Good evening, thank you for calling Sweeping Meadows Retirement Home, this is Dusty, how can I help you?" Said the voice of a friendly Snow Leopard the voice was answering her back "This is nurse Tracy Vixenson, I'm calling from Sweeping Meadows General Hospital, we're calling with high urgency of congratulations on behalf of one Calvin Ottswell, please let his mom know his wife, Kimmie delivered a beautiful and healthy baby boy about thirty minutes ago."
The nurse said before hanging up the snow leopard was looking at the other gals when she hung up, just as the tiger was wheeling the mother or shall we say ex-mom of Calvin by "Dusty, what was that about girl!?" Another voice asked her, Dusty then turned her attention to Millie and Kristine "That was, Sweeping Meadows General Hospital, you all remember Calvin right!?" She asked them getting so gleeful while the tiger stopped in front of her and the other at the front desk "Yes, what about that freak?"
They both asked together while Dust just realized her huge mistake "Ooh, uh yeah, but he just had a baby, with Kimmie that corgi." She said while showing off the photo of the two, sitting together with a fluffy cutie of an otter, with corgi features like corgi paws, ears, snout, and nose, the tail was a mixture of both stubby fluffy corgi, with the texture of an otter tail and whiskers as well "Awe he's so freaking adorable." The other two said while Calvin's mother was looking at the photo as well while snapping her finger softly for the tiger to take her to her room for the evening while the tiger started to wheel Mrs. Ottswell away from them and to get her to her room for the night
Moments Later: Corgsley's Floral Shop
Beth and Tom were sitting together and were reading the text while looking at the baby seacorgi in between Calvin and Kimmie, just as their phone rang "Hello, this is Beth Corgsley, may I ask who's calling this very late," she asked while the other vice spoke up "Beth, is Mrs. Ottswell, hope in not disturbing you and Tom tonight, I'm just wondering if you've got the same call too about that thing." She asked while the corgi some up to her "I know we both made it clear and disowned them both, but what do we do about this freak of a baby, it's not normal one bit Mrs. Ottswell, what shall we do about this?"
She asked her friend who was laughing now on the other line "No worries my dear, please call me Vickie darling, I've we'll do nothing and have them arrested if they ask to come close to any one of us." Vickie said while hanging up and Beth hung up the phone and looked at her husband "Tom, should we think about this?" She asked Tom who was now looking at her "Nothing and we'll take care of this freak of a mistake soon."
A few months later: Corgsley's Floral Shop
The place was booming with a lot of business while people were zooming in and out while ordering, picking up, and/or delivering orders a well, all of a sudden, there was a cloaked figure standing outside of the floral shop ready to make their presence known, along with their adorable backup plan, plan cute "Ok sweetie, it's time to try and mend things between me and my folks, if plans don't go as hope for, then it's all on you ok Jaxxie, now then, let's get this ove with already." She said while walking towards the entrance of her old home/work place, in hopes of fixing the past for a better and bright future
Now, there's a lot more to come, but for now, the real journey begins for me and much more ahead in the next chapter
