"I do" the words left his lips without hesitation. A small smirk appeared as they fell off his lips.
The kiss that followed was a sweet passionate claim. It expressed the bond between them that has now officially formed for everyone to know and see.
She was now the new Mrs.Uchiha.
The night that followed was met with fiery sweet love making. His lips claiming every piece of her body in the process.
Their two week long honeymoon spent mostly behind the closed doors. Learning each-other's bodies.
Burning marks on one another using their lips.
where did it all go wrong?
She opened her eyes groggily extending her arm out to where her newly husband should be laid but to her surprise she felt nothing. Her bright green eyes opened quickly as she turned her head to be met with the sight of no one there.
"Sasuke-kun...?" She whispered as she looked around the room, sitting up as she took it all in.
Her body felt sore and tired. She was still nude from the night before.
"Sasuke-kun...?" she asked once more a bit louder. Maybe he went for a walk he figured.
A small yawn escaped her lips as she looked around once more stopping as she saw something on his pillow she hadn't originally seen before. A small note was folded neatly upon it.
A small smile formed on her lips. He left her a note knowing she'd wake up confused. She took the note and began to read its contents.
Her smile dropped.
Her blood ran cold.
"Naruto,
I can't.
I'm sorry."
Before she could even realize tears were streaming down her face. Her tears turned to small waterfalls. She crumbled the paper and threw it off to his side of the bed again as she cried silently.
A few days later
She was making her way back to Konoha with no husband.
For much of her travel back she allowed herself the time to cry, wallow in her sadness. No one was around to witness her tears.
She broke off from her entrancement from her thoughts she looked over once again to the towering gates of Konoha this time close enough to see Naruto and Kakashi waiting to greet the newlyweds. She knew they would be there before even seeing them.
A small sad smile crept onto her face, tears were forming as she walked closer. How could she face them?
Before she could even continue to think she was drawn out of her thoughts by being brought into someone's embrace.
"SAKURA-CHAN!!! I MISSED YOU!! YOU CANT LEAVE THAT LONG AGAIN!!! BAAA-CHAN WAS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!"
She blinked her tears away as she pulled away smiling at him and Kakashi.
"Hey where the bastard? He didn't leave you did he?!" Her breath hitched. Of course Naruto was kidding. He was playing as he usually did. He had no idea how right he was.
"Yes." Was all she could muster up before her voice broke. She cleared her throat as she handed Naruto the note meant for him. It was always about him when it came to Sasuke. She would always be that annoying little fangirl. The one that didn't deserve any notice or recognition. He left her after she gave him everything. He left her on their honeymoon.
Yet Naruto was the one who earned the explanation. She was his wife yet he and Naruto had the unbreakable bond.
"Sakura-Chan..." he said, his voice dying. She looked at him and saw him struggle with emotions and words. She wished she knew what he thought at that exact moment because for once he didn't express them.
Kakashi was the one who broke the silence "let's get you home Sakura." she bowed her head and flowed his lead. Naruto remained frozen in place.
Where did it all go so wrong?
