When Evan Buckley, also known as Buck to everyone, woke up this morning, he found himself in the arms of his best friend, Eddie Diaz. The sleeping man is trying to bury himself in Buck. The man chuckles. Eddie's only cuddly on rare occasions, but when he does touch, Buck melts. When Eddie wakes up, he kola bears Buck, making the other man laugh.
At 118, Buck's lying on the couch when he feels somebody lying on him. He sees it's Eddie. Buck can see the pattern of these touchy-feely Eddie, which makes him smile. Everyone has given up when the two would get together. This is a norm for the two and the fire department. Bobby will always shake his head at them.
Eddie convinced Buck to stay over during his rut, and Buck has never been so glad to have Eddie as a partner. This was a line that crossed when his rut came. The shorter man is curled into Buck, asleep.
"When did you and Eddie get together?" Hen demands Buck when Chimney and Hen come back from Boston. Maddie had left, and Chimney followed. Hen went with him to be supportive. Bobby hasn't told them they aren't with the 118 anymore. Eddie's sleeping behind Buck.
"When did you become an omega, Diaz?" A former high school firefighter questions Eddie. The 118 froze. Eddie wants to be inside Buck. Buck chuckles.
"How often do you two have sex?" Another asks. Buck growls at him.
"We're not sexual, but we are together," Buck hisses. Bobby sighs.
"That's enough. Buck, take Eddie to my office," Bobby diffuses the scene. Eddie's family chuckles at the grunt Eddie made when Buck picked him up.
Buck loves Eddie and the family that the omega gave him. People ask how sexual he is, and he's perfectly content with using his hands. The relationship with Eddie is more important than his sexual urges. Eddie does help with what he's comfortable with.
Buck's in bed, with Eddie wrapped around him. The touchy-feely feeling for Eddie is his heat, making Buck love him. He's more affectionate than he usually is.
"Eds," Buck says. Eddie hums.
"I love you," Buck tells him, and Eddie leans closer, trying to mend into Buck.
