Now that the Halloween special is FINALLY done (thanks life, you can be a complete bitch sometimes). But, I hope you all had a very merry Christmas, or whatever winter holiday you celebrate, as well as a happy New Year. So, leave a review, sit back, relax and enjoy the show.
Chapter 46
Exotic
Rebecca did the finishing touches on her make-up as she was in her bathroom.
"Thank god for sweat resistance make-up" said Rebecca. She looked at herself in the mirror, her teal lingerie contrasting against her skin.
"Hehe, Damn Marinette, you are a master of your craft", Rebecca said to herself. "Even the thong doesn't ride up NEARLY as much as my other ones do". She got dressed and then headed off to Asmodeus' Castle.
When she arrived, she and the other workers cleaning the place, getting ready for opening time.
"That the new set Marinette made ya?" Asked Shanna.
"Indeed, whatcha think?" Asked Rebecca.
"Fits you like a glove" answered Shanna.
"So, how's your husband doing?" Asked Rebecca.
"He's doing fine", answered Shanna. "He recently applied for a job at Palacio De Oro as a chef".
"Really, sweet" said Rebecca.
"Do they have disability access for that job?" Asked Janine.
"Yep", answered Rebecca. "They got for every job there".
"Nice to see" said Daphne.
"So, how's your husband?" Asked Shanna.
"You", answered Daphne. "Are talking to the wife of the new vice-Chairman".
"He got the promotion?" Asked Janine excitedly.
"Hell yeah" answered Daphne.
"I knew he would", said Courtney happily. "Congrats on that". Jarred then walked in.
"Hey girls" he said.
"Hey boss" they said.
"Now, I need you all to listen carefully", Jarred said. "Given what happen on Halloween, I suggest you keep your eyes open for anything suspicious. Last thing we need is another Akuma, or worse coming in here. That clear?".
"Yeah, that's clear".
"Crystal".
"You got it".
That night, Asmodeus' Castle was packed. Rebecca went outside and leaned against the wall.
"Sometimes, they just can't keep their hands to themselves" said Rebecca. She then placed a piece pokey in her mouth.
"To think", said Rebecca. "I'm both a stripper AND a Superhero. Thankfully, she doesn't call for help often".
"Hello". Rebecca looked up and saw-.
"Ladybug", said Rebecca. "What are you doing here?".
"I'm on patrol", answered Ladybug as she jumped down. "What are you doing out here?".
"I'm on break", answered Rebecca. "You won't believe the ruckus that goes on in there".
"So how are things?" Asked Ladybug.
"Things are good", answered Rebecca. "Shanna's husband got a job at Palacio de Oro and Daphne's husband got promoted to vice-chairman of the business he works at".
"Some of you guys are married?" Asked Ladybug.
"Yeah", answered Rebecca. "Shanna's husband thought he'd never get the job, but he did. Turns out the place has disability access for employees too".
"He's disabled?" Asked Ladybug.
"He got paralysed in a car wreck", answered Rebecca. "He had it tough for a while, but they eventually sorted it out".
"That's good to hear", said Ladybug. "What about Daphne and her husband?".
"You know", said Rebecca. "A lot of men think it's so cool to date a stripper. Thinking we're all beasts in bed, twerkin' and bumpin' and fuckin' and all that. But when they learn we work six nights a week, they can't take it. But Cameron, that's the name of Daphne's husband, guessed this. So, they keep each other busy". Ladybug just stared.
"Well, it's nice to see that you and your friends are doing well" said Ladybug.
"Yeah, Jarred's fucking amazing", said Rebecca. "Bouncers all over the place, cameras in every room. Hell, he even made a deal with Tsurugi Tech". Ladybug's eyes widened.
"No way" said Ladybug in shock.
"Yep", said Rebecca, she then held up her wrist to reveal a silver bracelet. "See this? This is an E.R.B".
"An E.R.B?" Asked Ladybug.
"Emergency Response Bracelet", answered Rebecca. "We press this red circle, bouncers that are the closest to us come like knights in black fabric. *sigh* You know, I still don't understand why you gave a Miraculous to me?".
"You said you wanted to help", answered Ladybug. "And believe me, you were and still are a major help. Especially with what did for Adrian, Ondine and a lot of other people I can't name". Rebecca just chuckled.
"It's getting cold", said Rebecca. "Wanna come inside?".
"I could use a break" answered Ladybug. Rebecca then opened the door.
"Then come on in" she said. She then lead Ladybug down a hallway towards the dressing room and opened it up.
"Hey girls~", said Rebecca catching their attention. "Guess who decided to show up?". Ladybug entered the room causing the girls to squeal.
"Uh, hello" Ladybug said nervously.
"Well, I'll be damned", said Daphne. "Lady-fucking-bug, in our dressing room".
"So, what brings you here?" Asked Janine.
"Honestly", answered Ladybug. "Patrolling across the rooftops can be exhausting sometimes".
"I would say you got it easy", said Janet. "But, that would be a lie. I can't imagine what leading a double life at your age is like". Ladybug's face then fell.
"Yeah, well", said Ladybug. "It's not like I wanted this. I mean, it's not like I wanted to get a pair of magical earrings that make me turn into a superhero to fight villains created by a man with a thing for butterflies, losing several hours of sleep and guarding several other powerful pieces of jewellery…..so, yeah. I think I'm slowly losing it". Rebecca and Janine then placed their arms over Ladybug's shoulders.
"YOU missy", said Janine. "Are a tough ass bitch. If I was in your shoes, I'd crack under the pressure like rocks in a crusher". Ladybug blushed at this.
"Well, I uh".
"Honestly, if I saw Hawkmoth", said Daphne. "I'd walk up to him, call him a bitch and then crack his nuts".
"Save seconds for me" added Janet. Ladybug chuckled. Soon, a knock came at the door.
"May I come in?" A voice asked.
"Sure boss" said Rebecca. The door opened up and Jarred walked in. His eyes widened when he saw Ladybug.
"Well, as I live and breathe" he said, walking up to Ladybug.
"What brings my club?" Asked Jarred.
"Well, got a bit tired and Rebecca invited me", answered Ladybug. "Also, I heard you made a deal Tsurugi tech. How did you convince Tomoe?".
"Turns out, she had a few skeletons in the closet she doesn't want people to know", said Jarred. "Plus, she owes me a favour on keeping quiet in regards to a 'drunken endeavour' she had". Ladybug was trying not to laugh.
"What kind of 'Skeletons'?" Asked Ladybug.
"Let's just say a lot of leather and a lot of dudes calling her mommy" answered Jarred. Ladybug was now laughing so hard. She then felt something in her hand. She looked to see a stack of hundred Euro bills.
"A reward for your job", said Jarred. "I think you've deserved it". Ladybug then handed it back.
"I can't accept this", she said. "I-". But Jarred pushed it back.
"Keep it", said Jarred. "I think the girls would agree with me, that you've earned that more than anyone". Ladybug only smiled.
"I better get going", said Ladybug. "Still need to do patrols". She then walked away.
"Bye, Ladybug" said Jarred.
"Take care" added Rebecca. As Ladybug swung away, she looked back at the club, giving a faint smile.
