Chapter 463: Still a Winter Vacation…

(December 29. Lewis Residence Olive Street. Royal Woods, Michigan.)

We see Michelle Lewis leaving her bedroom, and then she sees her kids on the couch and she asks. "What's going on here guys?"

"Bored" replied Lincoln and Luna.

"There doesn't seem to be anything to watch and the rest of our friends are kinda busy today" replied Luna. She is about to turn off the TV, but then Michelle takes the remote.

"Wait, what about Jordan and Sam?"

Lincoln answers that one. "Jordan is with her friends at the mall, and checking out what might be on sale when next year shows up, and also Sam is doing the same."

Michelle then turns off the TV, and she speaks. "How's about we spend the day together? All three of us, because I don't have any plans today."

Lincoln and Luna smile. "Sure."

(Family bonding day montage.)

They grab something good to eat, at KFC, and they even encounter Lynn Jr. and her team, they are taking a break from hockey practice and they look forward to the big game soon.

Then they head around the town, and see what they could get, or see what is new and they do encounter Chunk there trying to look for some new pants.

Afterwards, they go and watch a movie at the Royal Woods Theater, and that is the new Disney Movie called, Wish. They do encounter Ms. Bernardo, and it looks like she is prepared for an upcoming play soon, and they can tell that Luan might be part of this.

They do head to the Comic Book Store, and they do encounter Amanda Bright there, and just going through some stuff, but both Lincoln and Amanda look forward to next month.

They head to the local music store, and there they meet up with Sully and Mazzy. Luna does see this other girl; she has an electric guitar and wearing an orange beanie hat.

(End montage.)

Now we see them at Ketcham Park, and just enjoying some hot coco while watching others have fun, and also they can see the sign of the upcoming Fireworks show to be launched once it is the final day of December, and they are so looking forward to that one.

"Thanks for spending some time with us today mom, you really know how to help keep our time occupied" replied Lincoln.

Michelle smiles. "I know you both well, kids and I for one like spending time with the two of you. Dang shame Amanda couldn't come and tag along."

Luna chuckles. "So, when does she move in with us?" This also makes Lincoln chuckle and Amanda blushes and chuckles nervously, since she hasn't asked her yet if she wants to live with them.

The trio then continue their stroll, not minding the concerns for next month and just enjoy what they have now.

(Back at the Loud House.)

Lola and Lana, are in the backyard and making a snow fort, and also preparing the snow balls. Lola then recalls something. "I don't know about you Lans, but I for one am glad we' re done with that metal detector treasure hunt we had. We all nearly went too far."

Lana recalls and nods. "Yeah, we need to be very careful next time, all of us."

Lisa comes down from her space lab hanging by the tree. "I do believe we all fell into a competitive nature and almost got into deep trouble with where we were digging." They do see Mr. Grouse is not home, he has left to spend time with his family, and he'll be back when next year comes around.

Lucy then comes out of nowhere, startling the trio. "As I do recall, you three and Mr. Grouse kept searching and digging, that you all didn't even notice you were all in a training area where FutureTech is trying out their new weapons, and be grateful that one of them showed up and saved you're sorry butts."

The trio recall, that they found some gold nuggets buried in the dirt beneath the soft snow, and then they took cover as tank rounds were flying by, the area was a training ground for tank gunners aim. Jack Cyber showed up and got them out of there, and even questioned how they not noticed the freaking sign! Though, they never knew who won that whole treasure digging thing.

Lana sighs and grumbles. "Don't remind us, that was intense and hard core, and yet scary." They then continue their time in the backyard, while Lori and Leni are discussing in their room.

"Alright, so I had the same dream again but again it ended and I couldn't know the name of the kid I met long ago" replied Leni, and she looks concerned. "It's like, so frustrating, and I wanna know who he is so I can see him again and see if we are still friends."

Lori thinks about this. "If you literally ask me, and it seems like you already are. We could ask Lincoln and the others, to try and see what's within your memories from long ago, and then we can figure out who is this kid you met before. Heck, you never even mentioned him before back then."

"Well, what did you expect?" said Leni. "I wasn't the sharpest or keenest tool in the shed, or even around the house and I always tend to forget about a lot of folks whom I have met, and it seems like that is something I still have even after my whole brain repair from long ago."

Leni then hears Lily, and she leaves to go and check on her. Lori feels concerned about this, and she grabs her phone and she sends a text message to Lincoln, Luna and Michelle. 'I literally hope this works.'

A/N: Whoa, well now we all know what went down between the Loud kids and Grouse and their metal digging shenanigans, but what of Leni? Well, that'll be for next time. I do hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
